Congrats on the wins 150 is still alot to some and any win counts imo, roulette gives such big pay outs but also high risk I would tend to agree its best to be careful and take some off the table to keep good habits.  If you intend to cut down for this year I think sports betting is the ideal place for disciplined bets vs odds etc.  Money management is the game within the game.
   I watch people play Roulette and it makes my head spin too lol  despite the pacing they give to players, its moving too fast to fully enjoy or figure out which numbers I want to place as Im too indecisive but to watch its ok.  My only advice is to pay any bills off before you gamble and play the game so any win or loss is free and clear for you.   Keep crypto separate, I think it can have that advantage from gambling plain cash

I just commented on your previous thread about pausing to gamble and I thought you’d have enough profit already, well that’s gambling it’s really hard to quit especially if you are winning. Congrats for another win anyway better not to say that you will stop to gamble until the end of he year because it seems that you can’t commit on that.

Me? I just bet on the red and black usually. However, if I wanted to get that 1:36 win, then I usually bet numbers around 0, take note its single 0 and not the 00 because it's harder to win as the odds is higher.

And you mentioned though that this is your first time to play roulette? so probably beginners luck, I guess.

As expected, once a person tasted the sweetness of victory he will always comeback no matter how he planned to quit. 


I quite agree if you are in the green but once a series of red hits you, I don't know if you can still say this line.  Congratulation on the win, I hope you continue to get the upper hand but don't be swayed by the illusion that gambling is a stable source of income or profit.  There is always this law of average, if that hits you I wish it won't be that devastating.


I also commented on that thread but I assume that it was a temporary quitting but it hasn't been a week and @OP is already engaged in gambling.  So I guess his statement is good for quitting that session not entirely the whole days left of 2022.

Sure, sure, you make money in EV- games. What is clear from what you say is that sometimes you have played online, because that is what happens today, the tables are very tight, people multitable and if they do not get good hands they fold, fold and fold again. This in turn, causes fish like you to not have a good experience and find the game boring, so they go to play roulette or other games to "win" money. Typical.

I'm not a person who plays roulette often because it's a luck based game where I rarely win.

But you are very lucky to play gambling and I think maybe you are someone who often gets lucky in gambling games. But I hope you are not too happy with the results you get because there will be times when you get lost and usually, the defeat will only get bigger if you can't control yourself.

Well I guess for those who have replied to his thread, we says that it's going to be hard for him to quit.

Congrats though, I also bet on roulette from time to time, and again, from what I said in the past, it's the quadrant that I bet. For example, numbers like 5,10,23,24, then 11,36,13. Usually that is the number that I bet.

Sometimes corner number, column bet, and then classic Black or Red.

He's right on the first and on the second you cannot quit and you need attention, where's the proof so we'll not question your intention that you just need attention, better edit your first discussion that you cannot quit, it's very rare for gamblers to quit when they won a huge amount, I bet there will be more posts about your experience because you love it.

I don`t see a problem with quit gambling. It is possible that the OP created that thread right after win. but later he analyzed it without emotions and changed decision.
The only problem that he created that thread about quit gambling. And the only advise is not to run to the board after victory but just wait few days to calm down.

You're right, I am probably disrespecting you a little with my last post to you. For that I apologize. I seen your other topic, then this 1 and it looked contradictory to me, so I called you out on it.

You do need to respect the rules of the forum though and post threads like this in the gambling discussion forum vs just the regular gambling forum. Good luck with future betting, whethers its online or live.

It just so happen that you were lucky at that time and the odds are favoring your side. Which is why you won $150 which is already a good amount. But still, be careful because you might end up losing instead of winning. It's not always a good day in gambling.

Please also be reminded to set your limitations first before betting and only bet what you can only afford to lose. I get it that it is enticing to win huge amounts, but you should also take into consideration the losses you might stumble upon if things go worse. Risk assessment and management are a must too. Do not ever lose yourself because of the thrill and satisfaction because you might end up getting addicted in gambling, and that is a serious case. Nonetheless, wishing you more winnings on your future bets.

You bet at maximum and only won 150 dollars? I think that's too small but most roulette's usually have a large maximum bet size. Maybe you mean to say you bet on the minimum only? And if you really bet on maximum then it will cost you a lot of money since you choose 8 numbers.

I have tried this game before but I didn't really like it as I think it's too hard to win on this game because there are lots of numbers that you can bet on. Sure you can bet on multiple numbers but that can also cost you a lot of money. My favourite number by the way is 8 because this is my birth date and I always feel lucky about it even though it rarely goes out.

Well, wow. If this is a make story, then that's sad. But if it is not, still, make a decision whether to continue playing or not. You know yourself well better than anyone else. If you think you cannot handle greed and frustration, you already know the answer. Quitting would be a better choice than to play because it won't be a leisure anymore, it would be eventually a vice which is hard to remove from your daily living system.
