I had this problem last year. I had to wait, I don't know, 3-4 months before they were dropped by the network. It's been that long for you so I don't know what the issue is. I'd say just keep waiting, at some point they'll drop presumably.

Bitcoin transaction IDs are consisted of 64 hexadecimal characters, without minus sign. An example:
Code:
4a5e1e4baab89f3a32518a88c31bc87f618f76673e2cc77ab2127b7afdeda33b

These strings you've written aren't familiar.

This sounds strange. Unconfirmed transactions are commonly dropped by the nodes' mempool after 2 weeks by default, if they aren't included into a block until then. You must have meant something else.

It's impossible that you have a transaction that is still unconfirmed after 5 months.
In these 5 months, the mempool has been emptied many times. Also, as mentioned by BlackHatCoiner, unconfirmed transaction are usually dropped from the mempool of nodes.

What you shared above isn't a valid transaction ID and I guess you are using a custodial service that hasn't broadcast your transaction even after 5 months. What's the service you are using?

Unconfirmed transactions are commonly dropped by the nodes' mempool after 2 weeks by default, if they aren't included into a block until then. You must have meant something else.

Some wallets or online services may be rebroadcasting the transactions, hence it can happen to be a bit longer than 2 weeks.
But as hosseinimr93 correctly noticed, the mempool was emptied for way too many times meanwhile, so there's no reason for the transaction still be stuck. That if it's a bitcoin transaction, from a bitcoin wallet.

bdcadc42-67db-41f2-856e-de700f218973

Those look like generic GUID (identifiers) to me, not transaction IDs in the way the blockchain uses them. Care to tell more about these numbers and maybe find out the actual transaction IDs?
(This is also why any blockchain explorer cannot help you: you are using something that's not transaction IDs).

Have you try to check the transaction status from any explorer? Btw I doubt the validity of the above transactions IDs. No matter the delay it is not supposed to take this long to deliver. You should check well for the proper trx or perhaps you made an error while trying to copy them.

Yeah, that looks like an ID an exchange or online service would use, though most I can think of either just use the on-chain transaction ID or a custom ID scheme.

Did you send the transaction from desktop / mobile wallet or from a website? If you sent it from a website, have you tried contacting their support?

I never used a custodial wallet, this might be their kind of indetifier or what, because exchanges always give you the transaction id of ever transaction/withdrawal made, how much more to any non-custodial wallet.
You should tell us more about this, you've been idle for many hours while online and reading the replies yet you should at least reply for us to help you.

The txid you mentioned isnt working on block cypher, despite of you trying it there.

Blockchain is just a piece of information stored in a decentralized manner on many computers all over the world. It doesn't have customer support. If your transaction is stuck due to low fees and mempool congestions, you usually want to speed it up with technologies like CPFP or RBF, but if it is impossible to employ these techniques, then you just wait until your transaction gets removed automatically from the pool of unconfirmed transactions. It usually takes no more than two weeks from the moment you first broadcast your transaction. These rules apply to all wallets where you fully control the private keys to your coins, where you can set custom fees or "withdraw" funds at any time. If third parties control the private keys to your wallet, you have less or no power whatsoever. You instead always rely on these third parties' honesty and trust them that they will not deceive you while making financial transactions. Sometimes they fail even at simple tasks such as setting correct fees.

You can use transaction accelerators like ViaBTC when your transaction is unconfirmed and you want it to be confirmed fast.
The case is different here. The transaction hasn't been broadcast to the network and doesn't exist in the mempool at all.

Transactions are not supposed to get stuck at this time. I've just made a 1.8 sats/byte transaction that should go through in a few hours.

(Edit: It got through 2 hours ago)

What is the fee rate you set for these transactions?

Try to export the private keys from blockchain.com and import hem into a recent version of Electrum where you will be able to use RBF to increase the fee of them and possibly send it back to your address.

I see that OP has edited the post after the few responses, I was really curious why everyone was only referring to the IDs and not to the tx mentioned below (which is also invalid, unfortunately).

Quote

At this point it's obvious the only way to see what's happening here is for OP to tell us where is he sending funds from or who is sending this to him, I hope he didn't get scammed by some website that claims it has sent the money and is giving him bogus ids and hashes.
Also, just curious, why did you wait for so long? I mean, it's 4 months...

Blockcypher explorer gave me internal error for all the calls, so I cannot verify there. All the other block explorers I've tried cannot find that transaction, meaning that it was either dropped, either never sent (somebody was lying to you).

However, can you please confirm you are talking about Bitcoin transactions? Since until now you've just left us assume it's that. Can you also tell where these transactions were supposed to be sent from?
For now it looks like you've been lied and no transaction was sent, also clearly no bitcoin transaction is stuck.

It is impossible that your transactions were not confirmed after 5 months or not dropped off from mempool after those months.

Joehoe site with 6-month windows (https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC%20(default%20mempool),6m,weight) can help you to see a wider picture and have an overview on your issue (?)

If you hover the mouse on the chart and see many times mempool were cleaned with total mempool size is less than 1 vMB or even much smaller.

If your transaction on 16 June is not what you meant, I believe your another transaction on 17 June was not approved by that platform. Are you sure the another transaction was approved by the platform from which you sent it?

Some other sites to upload images but in this forum, it seems imgur.com is the best.

According to blockchain, no transaction has been between these addresses.
Given the transactions received and sent by 3EkKxC1kDrJc4MvRqkXXyt7mpiA5UCLoRs, it seems to be owned by a custodial service like an exchange and can't belong to your blockchain wallet.

It's impossible that you have made a transaction from this address using your blockchain wallet.

Does blockchain show it sent and cashapp not received? Or does blockchain show pending still?
Did you contact the support from both places?

You can reach cashapp at https://cash.app/contact or by phone at 1 (800) 969-1940
You can open a ticket with blockchain.com at https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Are these your transactions that you made or is someone else involved?

You might also want to move this post to support board vs the general discussion.

That's make sense, base on this reddit thread[1](although its already 3 years ago i dont know if their system is still the same) cash app doesn't provide txid for bitcoin transaction they will only email you when the transaction is complete in other words it was sent successfully and confirmed in the blockchain network.

For this to resolve i suggest to message cash app support[2] and help center[3] and tell them complete details regarding your issue.

I'm not a tech wizard. I sent it from a Trezor and then it never processed because of too low of a fee. There's no chance it showed back up on Trezor 2 weeks later. It was more around 3-4 months. Whatever that all means on a technical level I don't know.

I sent it from 3EkKxC1kDrJc4MvRqkXXyt7mpiA5UCLoRs on the 17th of June to 3KMzcn86gMwdY9GbsemeTKrEw8cJhS8yZc June 22 And last two since cash app changed my wallet July 4th to 34NioB5f7RiFc1nsvBg4rMQ6MXDmCPLzRq and Nov 2nd to 34NioB5f7RiFc1nsvBg4rMQ6MXDmCPLzRq

The address 3KMzcn86gMwdY9GbsemeTKrEw8cJhS8yZc had only two transactions and it was May 18, 2022 and there was no address 3EkKxC1kDrJc4MvRqkXXyt7mpiA5UCLoRs among the senders, or when sending you specified an incorrect or distorted address, in which case the transaction passed by the address that you specified.

The transactions shown in the images you shared have been made from your trading account, not your wallet.
I haven't ever used blockchain.com trading account and I don't really know how it works. I just know that KYC is mandatory in blockchain.com trading account. Have you verified your identity? That may be why they haven't processed your transactions.
Contact blockchain.com support and ask them why these transactions haven't been processed. They have full control over trading accounts.

Exactly, and I guess that must be the reason why the transaction hasn't been processed.

It's unbelievable that transactions will be delayed that long, as I'm sure even transactions with a 1 sat/byte fee will be included in the block when the fees drop. Obviously something happened to the transaction, and it's likely that the OP hasn't done any KYC verification for his blockchain trading account.

This case is an unusual one at this moment waiting for months for a transaction to drop in receiver wallet.

I guess the best thing to do at this point is to contact the support of the wallet you using since i already notice you ued a trading account which may need verification .

You can use transaction accelerators like ViaBTC when your transaction is unconfirmed and you want it to be confirmed fast.
The case is different here. The transaction hasn't been broadcast to the network and doesn't exist in the mempool at all.

oh I see, I also have this kind of problem with Binance Smart Chain but i can cancel just by send 0 amount to same address and give little bit of fee and add same nonce

I come back to this. Since you've used the "trading wallet", you didn't send from 3EkKxC1kDrJc4MvRqkXXyt7mpiA5UCLoRs.
Since trading wallet is custodian wallet, that's probably a deposit address for you, and then Blockchain.com handles the funds there as they wish (since it's actually their wallet) as long as your account remains funded.
That's why there were those confusing transactions. At the point you've send to 3KMzcn86gMwdY9GbsemeTKrEw8cJhS8yZc, Blockchain.com should have been sending (when they've processed the transaction request) from wherever they wanted/had available funds. Just this didn't happen, there was no transaction in June towards 3KMzcn86gMwdY9GbsemeTKrEw8cJhS8yZc. And this means that Blockchain.com didn't send it.

Contact blockchain.com support and ask them why these transactions haven't been processed. They have full control over trading accounts.

This is the main conclusion.

@Kingyouree: Blockchain.com support is the only one that can help you since they are in control of the wallet. They have the private keys for the custodian "trading" wallet. They should have been sending the transactions, but didn't. Be prepared with tons of patience, since afaik they used to be very slow in answering.

Well spotted! I'm not familiar with trading accounts or blockchain.com, but maybe worth checking whether there's also a 'funding account' or anything like that which allows you to actually withdraw funds?

I may be totally wrong here, but do exchanges maybe sometimes use this type of workflow?
Code:
Trading account <---> Wallet 'account' <---> Actual Bitcoin wallets

Blockchain.com trading account works like an exchange and you can trade bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies there.
In blockhchain.com, there is no funding account or something like that. If you have verified your identity, you should be able to withdraw your fund from your trading account to your main wallet or any address you want directly.

The wording might be different, but yes, something like that. When you deposit funds to the exchange, they get deposited to a main/primary wallet. Let's say you deposited BTC. If you open any trading pair with BTC, the exchange will show you that you have no funds in your account even though you made a deposit. But to be able to trade, you need to go into your exchange wallet and move the coins from your primary account to your trading/swaps account. The usual password/PIN/2FA might be required. Only after you do that, the correct balance will show up when you want to exchange BTC for some other coin.

It's similar to when you want to withdraw from the exchange to your personal wallet. If the coins are still in the trading/swaps account, and there is nothing in the primary wallet, the exchange will show you a 0 withdrawable balance. The funds have to be transferred to the main account so you can withdraw them from there.

Not all exchanges work is this way.
In blockchain.com trading account which is the topic of discussion here, you can withdraw your fund to any address you want directly without any need to moving the fund to another account or your main wallet.
For example, kucoin is one of the wallets works in the way you described above. In Kucoin, each user has two accounts. One is for trading and the other one is used for deposits and withdrawals.

It's good to know that for informational purposes. I am not familiar with the way Blockchain.com functions and how their internal wallets are set up. But from n0nce's post, I felt like he was looking for information about exchanges in general. Not specifically the systems deployed by Blockchain.com.

Thanks for the clarification to the both of you! I was suspecting that OP may just have transferred funds from a 'trading account' to a 'main wallet account' and therefore only received a UUID-type 'transaction ID' instead of an actual Bitcoin transaction ID.

Another theory is that the exchange gives you a 'transaction ID' before actually creating the real withdraw transaction. Since they do those in batches (tons of withdrawals in one transaction with multiple outputs), it can take a while to go through. By giving you a unique identifier in the meantime, you have something to refer to if there's an issue (such as here).

However this identifier is purely internal and only matters within the exchange; only its support team can pull out more information and check what's wrong when given that UUID.

In the case of transferring the fund from trading account to the main wallet, they must make an on-chain transaction with real transaction ID.
Blockchain.com trading account is custodial while their wallet is non-custodial. So, it's impossible to transfer the fund from trading account to the main wallet without making a real bitcoin transaction.

It seems that this is how blockchain.com trading account works.

Exactly.
