Title: Solana going Big???
Post by: Blawpaw on November 05, 2022, 10:29:39 PM
It looks like Solana found a strong partner. News going around (https://cryptoslate.com/breaking-google-cloud-becomes-a-solana-validator/) saying Google cloud is a new validator for the Solana network. Apart from this, Google Cloud is also bringing Blockchain Node Engine to Solana. The Blockchain Node Engine (BNE) was formerly focused on Ethereum but is now widening its range onto the Solana ecosystem.

This is great news for Solana supporters as it proves the project might have a bright future ahead.

Google cloud knew when to take the right decision since hetzner was blocking thousand of solana nodes and then google cloud was taking such decision to run a validator in solana blockchain caused by those thousand nodes potentially migrating from heztner to the google cloud.
The google cloud was taking the advantage over such decision by hetzner which is good but the bad thing is when solana developers never fix the outages problem which is really annoying.

The google cloud itself doesn't even aware about the problem that have been facing by solana but at least this google cloud will get at least hundreds of potential users to use google clound for their nodes.

It's such a great decision in the business. google knows how to get the right decision to take all of advantage. that's smart enough.  :D

This sounds like good news for solana but I wonder how powerful solana will be when constant outages and it's virtually impossible to fix the problem. Solana used to be rated as a potential project but it clearly fell short of expectations and now it is facing stiff competition as new projects are developing like aptos and sui. For me the future of solana is becoming murky and has no future.

And the hacks as well?

So this is a good news, but not sure if investors are going to sway and pour their money again. I wouldn't say though that the future is murky and has no future. But it seems the hype has died down already and investors maybe are looking for new projects.

So let's see if this news will be a good push for the price long term.

Solana $SOL has more than 200-fold growth in the past bull run and recent months within a bear market, we have been witnessing a dramatic correction of Solana.

I don't believe too much that the bear market has been over yet and I believe it will take a few more months, maybe almost a whole 2023 year to have an ending of bear market. Solana must resolve their technical problems too as only the support from FTX and Sam FTX are not enough for Solana to take off and make a new all time high.

The coin must have better technical specifications as well as more smoothly operations and bigger capacity on their blockchain. Recent months, a lot of NFT projects have issues of performance on Solana blockchain and the Solana ecosystem will not grow more if such problems won't be handled well enough.

I think this is good news, for people who hold solana, and I also see in the market that the price of solana has increased, which is quite high. this proves that solana is a quality altcoin, I think it's time to hold solana or buy it, because I think the price of solana in the future will be high.

This is a good news. But Solana can never grow if it will not fix its bugs. It has many problems in its Blockchain. Like its transactions take much time to be confirmed sometimes. It has less secure protocol. And many others problem it has. If it will fix these bugs. It can cross ETH.

Maybe that's good news but how strong the partners can be to fully support Solana's project because with this situation and also the previous bugs, they need to work hard to give the best for the project. We'll also see what Solana will look like after using Google cloud as the new validator for the Solana network. And if this really brings a new twist to the Solana project, maybe it could make Solana's price increase in the short, medium and long term. So let's see what happens to Solana.

Really a good partnership. But Solana should prioritize their network errors and more security as their server go down too many times already. For some partnership maybe its not an issue but for a real case user of their platform, its a really big red flag. Even though they got some backed up in the long run a platform, that has a lot of users will remain. Look on how btc remain on top by adding up users everytime and how great the adoption to a lot of countries.

So, this new update doesn't totally solve the past issue solana experienced? Ouch. I almost comment positive words if not because of your post guys. Guess it's too early to celebrate yet until further fixes are done by the team and upon a long time of observation if solana is now running well without a hiccups.

For now, let us still be cautious and won't be carried away by the hype. True investors of solana might stay because solana is still showing signs of life and I think some will push their support even at the very end and will just accept if the result is a loss while fake investors and hype seekers will only come and go depending on how the news go.

So, this must be the reason for the sudden pump. As long as it's good news, investors will bite it and a name as big as Google will be make a hit.
There was one thread yesterday almost the same as the title. I thought I am going to read the same, but this is different.
That kind of news will probably make the trend and I am sure this will just be the start of their pump. Soon, more hypes will come, and we better buckle up.

This is a good news that can have an impact on the continuation of solana, and this should also be followed by improvements in the development of those who often face problems otherwise this collaboration will only last for a short time and will not have any impact on the holders in the future, there are still some issues in the network and its security

If it were me, I would never pour money back into projects like solana, to be honest the hype is dead. Not only solana I believe similar projects like near, celo...will also have the same end. Every bear season passes, there are always new projects that are better and attract a lot of attention from investors. If given investment choice between aptos and solana, I'm sure everyone will choose aptos, it's a new project the potential is no less than sol and the special thing is that it has not been hyped. Chance of getting higher return and same risk.

The news that Google will be running a Solana validator is pretty big news. I hope they’re able to help Solana stay running. There’s been a lot of times over the last year where Solana has gone down, hindering all of the projects that rely on it. Some have recently even moved to other chains as a result. As far as centralized blockchains go, Solana is one of the best and it sounds like this is a step forward for them.

Solana holders of course get good news about this, moreover solana is gradually increasing, this is certainly able to prove that solana has enough potential and is able to compete with other projects

Maybe this is the beginning of Solana's revival that will make blockchain mass adoption. As the current Ethereum blockchain has more users, and presents thousands of smart contracts. Solana is also a unique blockchain project. Within 24 hours, there may be more than 1 thousand validators active on the Solana blockchain. If Google cloud becomes part of Solana, of course it will have a positive impact on price changes.

Solana may have a bright future, but if anyone is like me I would be skeptical about their network, I understand that the Ethereum based network is quite expensive based on its transfer fee, but you can be sure of efficiency and trust, this are also important and to me more important than the transactions fee.

Solana is a developing project and is already gained a buzz, I think it's over stretching that buzz by having their own network. Every project in my own opinion should not have their own network.

The constant outages is a real issue and it is not virtually impossible to solve those issues, if they are able to solve them, it would be beneficial for the project and the developers who trusted them and created their project. I know a few projects that are running on SOL but not heard about the new ones you have mentioned. Partnership with Google Cloud is huge and hopefully we will see many developments from them in the coming years.

This may be the result of slow transactions on the SOLANA network. Finally Google Cloud saw this one advantage. Hopefully with this collaboration SOLANA will strengthen and improve its network.

In a competitive world, only those who survive will succeed. Along with the development of Ether, the Solana network is also making great strides with a bright future ahead of it. Solana Network has brought their project to a strong position. The Solana network has made significant improvements in transaction speed, gas fees, d-apps adoption and gaming platforms in a short span of time.

The 2 projects he is referring to are 2 new layer1 projects and they are being evaluated as replacements for solana and some topcoins in the upcoming bull run. Those who are passionate about altcoins or like to find hidden gems, these 2 new names will not be too strange, I am also monitoring these 2 projects very closely, in the future they may replace sol and we also know that topcoins will often be replaced by better new altcoins.
Google may have just saved Sol a life from Hetzner, which is good news for Sol but not enough to say how good it will be in the future.
