Title: "12 Days": Auction #9 - Ruby Cabochon
Post by: c0ffer on December 10, 2011, 11:56:25 PM
4.03 Ruby Oval Cabochon - Yes, this is a genuine RUBY! It is a cabochon that has a nice color and would mount well in a piece of jewelry or sit as an investment!

This auction has ended.

Winner: RandyFolds

Winning bid: 7BTC

As for the other questions. Although the auction has ended I will measure the stone before sending it out and post for info.

For treatments the stones I am selling or auctioning are all natural mined stones. The only time there are treatments are when they are common to the stone or required (examples of these would be blue topaz, the coloured quartzes, et. al.). In the case of ruby, they are typically glass filled so that is to be expected.

I will be doing more photos with objects to offer perspective on size for future listings.

For some upcoming higher value stones I will be offering documentation and even more info and of course for future auctions I will be tweaking my posting style further as we go.
