Title: Polygon Casino - fully decentralized - PLEASE FEEDBACK
Post by: TrueCasino on November 11, 2022, 03:45:48 PM
Good morning/evening everybody.

We are a small team of software engineers, and were puzzled with a question for a while - why the decentralized casinos are not well adopted yet.

So, we created a little MVP that looks promising. Want to share it with you and OF CAUSE it would be really nice to hear your feedback.

It is in test now and uses testUSDC ERC-20 token. Deployed on Polygon.
Any ideas, proposals, collaboration offers ARE HEARTILY WELCOMED.

The first game we deployed is roulette - it is here : roulette.truecasino.org (http://roulette.truecasino.org)
The main website is here: truecasino.org (http://truecasino.org)

Random number is generated using commit-and-reveal scheme. We published it here:
https://medium.com/@truecasino_org/random-number-generation-in-a-high-frequency-decentralized-betting-a9b60746eaf7 (https://medium.com/@truecasino_org/random-number-generation-in-a-high-frequency-decentralized-betting-a9b60746eaf7)

Please, share your opinion if we need to continue.

Kind regards,
Zorro (Andrey)

This is the second No KYC decentralised casino in a short time. I am happy if this trend continues as there are demand for it.

I've read the roadmap and i have to ask what are the requirements for incentivised test participants? Is it just following the steps in your site? I am asking because you are talking about "Qualifying participants" and "winning" TrueCasino CHIPs which makes me think that there are limited number of participants and they are chosen somehow.

Thank you o48o,
We will start incentivized testing on January 28. It will last for 1 month, before the contracts audit.
Since there is quite an amount in the winning pool, we want the participants to make some preparations, like to retweet the post. Number of participants is not limited.
How to choose the winner? Since we are in blockchain space - of course via smart contract. The details will follow.

Why second?

Decentralized Casino is always without "KYC" because on-chain betting, while everything is based on transaction & smart-contract. That's why is called "Decentralized Casino", is always without "KYC".
----

I tough already running, so the project is just like other waiting token sale, I usually skiped.

why the decentralized casinos are not well adopted yet.

This the second fully decentralized Non KYC casino i am getting to know about from this forum, though non is fully launched yet, though op didn't mention if this one also is a non KYC casino or not, but because its decentralized, we assume its non KYC.

I think your perception or should I say assumptions that decentralized casino are not being adopted is kind of wrong though, as i am aware that owl.Games is a web3 casino, which i personally consider as a semi decentralized casino and it doing very well.

I think the thing is that, decentralized casinos have not developed yet and there no way gamblers will adopt a casino that isnt live and kicking yet, though i stand to be corrected just incase there already a live decentralized casino any user here know of aside owl.games which like i said, is not completely decentralized - to me.

Keeping working a building a good looking, user friendly casino that is completely decentralized, the community is waiting to try out new innovations.

It's good that there is no KYC procedure on your casino, but I couldn't paly anything on that roulette page and my wallet balance is showing 50 fun.
Maybe there is some issue or it's not working for anyone but you should inspect what is causing this problem.
I want to use real Bitcoin with casinos and I don't think this is going to be possible with Polygon casino, this is negative for me.

@notblox1 - thanks for trying it out. Did you switch your wallet to Polygon network?
Indeed, you can not use bitcoin on Polygon

Let me just put some comments,

I try to play for fun in the roulette, make it to 99 FUN.

1. The audio or sounds though when the roulette is spinning is kinda annoying to me hehehe.
2. Repeat beat button not there?  Or I'm just missing it out?

The object that the casino has is very good, I had not considered that they could design a casino with those characteristics, regarding the game it is fine, but it would be great if they could add a music guy for those of us who like rock and not what Do traditional online casinos have to listen to the predetermined background music, if it can be changed it would be something super, with respect to KYC, it is excellent that it does not have it, but when you withdraw the money? won't they ask for the KYC? The link to the casino will be through metamask? They could do very good things if they consider it that way, have something different.

I will try any decentralized casino because in my opinion it is a form of support for playing casino without having to do KYC verification, let's test it even though I am not an expert in the game of roulette

1. The audio or sounds though when the roulette is spinning is kinda annoying to me hehehe.
I also thought maybe the sound was interfering making access to the website a bit slow, so went into the settings to turn off the sound  ;)

Good morning/evening everybody.

Since you are asking our opinion, let me add something,
Just opened the site, and it's quite lagging? Maybe only because of my connection.
I found out it's currently using FUN token as deposit?
Is it FUN token from your site to test/just like faucet, or FUN token we knew freebitco.in also using? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/funtoken/
But since you said your site using Polygon network/Matic, its might be your site token, playing for fun only.

Atm, your main site only has roulette game, and the 3 other games will be launch later, is there any ETA when those games will launch? You know people don't want wait too long if they already bored playing roulette

Thank you janggernaut ,

FUN means fun. It is not a token or currency. We think it is nice when users can see the interface before they connect a wallet.
We are in a test phase now. If you connect a wallet and mint some test USDT tokens in Wallet dialog you would be able to buy CHIP. And CHIP - yes, it is our currency that is equal one stable coin.
We promise to be up and running in April 2023 in production with at least 4 games.

I really hope that the testing will end well and in addition to the Polygon network tokens, other payment methods will be added in the future, for example, the ability to connect a coinbase wallet.

Oh my God, the music and that man screaming on the Roulette is very hilarious.

If you loose the bet then that sound is like he was shot in the chest and killed.  ;D ;D
I wish I could show myself laughing right now, you guys would start chain reaction of laughing for sure. That is really nuts.

I saw the settings, I know there are controls but without decent music there is no fun in the game.

Also, its odd that when I bet third time, though my chips were on the right number it stated I did not won anything? Was it just preview or real casino link. Someone verify this by loosing the chips.

Hope so you will stand out good in the coming days.

I hate the fact that I tried the website with my audio on reading your post. The sound of spinning the wheel is really freaking annoying.
Also, the sound that person makes when we lose the bet is more annoying. I hate it.
I hope OP is not going to use these sounds in the real website.

This decentralized casino thing is an interesting one. I want to know more about it. I already have the idea that the odds are against every player, though I do not know how it work. Also it is said that the house edge for decentralized casinos is way lower than a centralized casino. But if it is a decentralized casino, then who is considered to be the "house"?

Are you a representative of True casino?

If you are, please spend a small money to buy Copper membership.
  • Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote
  • Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images
(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.msg24371150#msg24371150). Shortly you will have permission to enable images and more details are written in that topic.

Buy it first, then you will have to enable (wear) it, like this
Once you have it, you get the choice:

Why do I recommend you to buy it?

As a casino representative, you will have to (should) make an announcement topic here and in that topic, you should make graphics in OP and later advertisement updates.

About your casino:

  • At the landing page, I see Polygon / Solana
  • In FAQ, I saw you mentioned about ERC20 chain. And what is Test USDC ?

Quote
Can I play True Casino Games now?
Yes, True Roulette -our flagship game is fully functional and available on Polygon mainnet now. However, the test USDC ERC-20 token is used as a currency now. You can mint 100 Test USDC in the Wallet dialog once your wallet is connected.

How about Binance Smart Chain and Bitcoin ?

your casino is very beautiful, congratulations, I have some questions:

1 - do you plan to place sports bets?

2 - How will you handle money laundering issues at your casino?

3 - When do you intend to operate your casino?

If your casino's name is True Casino, you better change the title of this thread into that. Because I thought that the name is polygon casino and in line with polygon network, that's how you name it.

Please clarify, your FAQ said that you've got a chip that can be exchanged into a stable coin. And when I've checked out the roulette, there's this "fun" is fun a token just as the chip?

I think the thing that you wanted is not possible because coinbase wallet is centralized but the one the OP is implementing is a decentralized casino so we should expect that wallets can work here are also decentralized like metamask and trustwallet but don't worry because other payment methods (coins) other than polygon are going to be supported because in their testnet it says they are using usdc and erc20 tokens so I expect that once it goes live they will also have those currencies.

That's great because not all are using polygon although polygon is a good coin already and better than most coins because it's only lightweight which means it's fast and has a cheaper fee.

I am interested in the censorship resistant part

https://i.imgur.com/6tfCGa6.png
How is your casino censorship resistant? Let's not talk about the smart contract bit (backend) that is deployed on the blockchain. My focus is on the frontend.

If a Law enforcement agency decides to block your website or block the RPCs, will an average Joe still be able to use your casino to gamble?

Very good question. Thank you for that.
Tornado Cash - is the best example showing the case that if Law enforcement agency wants to do something to a project they have the full power to do that.

If TrueCasino is down, the only thing can be guaranteed - players can still withdraw their money. Without a website. We will put instructions just in case...

We are studying the legal aspects now, it is not very obvious and vary from country-to-country.

Title: Community help needed
Post by: TrueCasino on January 08, 2023, 04:22:20 AM
Dear all,

we are still working on our project.
We have to milestones: tokenomics and casino fine tuning.

So, the question to the community:

 - Is there any persons in the forum with online casino support/development experience eager to join the project?
 - Any ideas about tokenomics?

Please join us if you find the project interesting!!!
