Hi, Anyone knows how can i sell my car for crypto like what is the process?
Im in Monaco spain and france area :)

I would assume that the process is no different than if you were selling it for cash. You might have to declare any change in the value of the crypto from the time it’s received until the time you sell it for tax purposes, but there’s nothing special you have to do outside of that. The most difficult part would be finding someone willing to spend their crypto on a vehicle, but once that’s lined up it should be as simple as making the transfer and dining the papers.

You can sell your car for carrots if you want, you just need to find the buyer who can pay in carrots.

You can post ads on regional websites that facilitate the sale of goods for cash. Just say, "Hey, I take BTC or whatever.". You could also upload your ad to the OpenBazaar marketplace, but I believe that option has since closed. Or perhaps a brand-new decentralized market place LibertyTown that supports anonymous transactions. However, I don't believe it will be helpful in your situation.

Regrading selling car it is a very long procedure cause if they also pay with crypto than there will be a lot of things to be considered. You might sell Car in Monaco cause it is just s Tax free country. Other countries have very high taxes too. So I will say that you should sell it through Cash. And it would be more suitable for you. That's also depends upon you.

There is no way you sell your car for crypto except you look for your own buyer who also wishes to pay in crypto. Place an advert on any of these online markets and state the trade terms include crypto payment may be you will eventually get a buyer.

Of course the question is how to avoid paying tax when you sell BTC to FIAT, but I think any tax advisor or accountant may help.

Easier way would be to first exchange Bitcoin for cash using p2p exchange and than just buy car with cash.
Problem is that some countries have limitations for cash purchases, and you would need to check law for that in Monaco, Spain and France.
You could also try making one ad asking to buy a used car and add Bitcoin as one of accepted payment method, among others.

I saw Bitpay is offering a way to buy cars with Bitcoin, so you could research this option more.

Most of the used cars in my area are advertised on Craig's List, which has a "cyrpto ok" setting that sellers can select.  I've sold cars and some other stuff using Craig's List and always enable that option, but no one has ever paid me in Bitcoin.  If you insist on being paid in Bitcoin you're going to limit your market and turn away many potential buyers.  If you goal is to turn the car's value into Bitcoin, you might be better indicating in your ad that you'll accept either cash or Bitcoin.  If you get paid in cash, you can use a P2P exchange to convert it into Bitcoin.

as previously suggested just sell your car for fiat money and then find a good exchange to convert that fiat into the crypto you want or use localbitcoins ( with a reputable member ) or something like that.

There must be a reason OP wants to sell off his car using crypto as a medium of transaction. Obviously, he knows about the existence of fiat currency. Maybe he wants to avoid other extra costs such as transaction costs, huge taxes or cross-border ridiculous exchange rates. You never know.

If you are gonna hodl the btc then I see a ton of reasons why this is a great idea. Just have to find a buyer willing to pay in btc

You may also want to look for peer-to-peer marketplaces, where you can post an ad to sell the vehicle and may be able to find a buyer who is willing to pay with crypto. Once you find a buyer, you can agree on a price and method of payment (e.g. which type of cryptocurrency, digital wallet, etc). Then you can complete the transaction, and the buyer can take possession of the car.

I think FB marketplace is a good place to start, I'm sure you'll get some response if you mention that you accept cryptocurrency (maybe even point out that you're only accepting that).

It is good you want to sell your car for Crypto as a means of payment. If I may ask why do you want to sell off your car by accepting Crypto as a means of payment? Are you trying to evade tax payment just like a member said here or what? Well if you deem it right to sell your car for Crypto, that is my an issue it would also create a good business link for you though. This is also one of the functions of bitcoin no much stress or third party involved and less transaction fees to pay with a swift transfer.  In this case, if you are trying to make your deal confidential peer to peer would be much better to get involved with so as not to create awareness of your transaction. You would only need to change ownership which would not be an issue if any inquiry comes up about the ownership of the car.

I was just thinking, you could possibly just create a custom sell agreement where it says that the buyer is paying in crypto and just advertise regularly via whatever you would use and add that option within the add.

Doing that, would've defeated one of the cardinal points why Satoshi created Bitcoin for direct use as means of payment, don't you think so? On my part, I don't see how transacting directly with Bitcoin should  be a  problem. All OP has to do is get someone who also will want to transact in Bitcoin. Get an escrow to receive and release funds once deal is reported to have been done/executed. Buying with Bitcoin, is in fact, the easiest way once you've factored in the volatility.

It's my first time getting to know about such a platform. They don't have so much online presence, despite being launched about 5 years ago in 2018 and dealing with luxurious cars. I mean, at least we would be able to see a dozen genuine testimonies around.

I saw somewhere in california i think its San Diego. They accept in crypto currency if you are going to sell your car. The name of the shop is pmautos. You can hire them as your broker to buy, sell or consign a vehicle in crypto currency. They accept crypto currency payment such as Bitcoin (BTC), Etherium (ETH), Binance (BNB), and soon to be accepting all forms of Digital Currency.  ;)

I'm from Europe and so far I haven't heard that someone sold or bought a car with crypto. I think that is possible if you find some private person that is willing to accept the contract for crypto payments but I don't think there is any official car dealer that would do business with crypto.
Also I would be very careful with any online platform dealing with cars, it's always a risk.

Just like any other process you would do for cash.  As long as the platform you advertise it on let's you use any funding instrument than you are free to do so.  The problem with high ticket items is how do you do it safely.  There are escrow that can be used, but most likely you are going to have to do it in person.  Just make sure ypu do it in a safe space as you would when dealing with cash.  Good luck and good move on taking an appreciating asset for a depreciating one 😉
