GitHub: https://github.com/tmrlvi/kaspa-miner (https://github.com/tmrlvi/kaspa-miner) Discord: https://discord.gg/kS3SK5F36R (https://discord.gg/kS3SK5F36R) Telegram: https://t.me/Kaspaenglish (https://t.me/Kaspaenglish) Installation Devfund The devfund is a fund managed by the Kaspa community in order to fund Kaspa development A miner that wants to mine higher percentage into the dev-fund can pass the following flags: --devfund-precent=XX.YY to mine only XX.YY% of the blocks into the devfund. This version automatically sets the devfund donation to the community designated address. Due to community decision, the minimum amount in the precompiled binaries is 2%. From Sources: Installing via cargo install is not supported for the latest version. The regular version is still available at Code: cargo install kaspa-miner From Git Sources If you are looking to build from the repository (for debug / extension), note that the plugins are additional packages in the workspace. To compile a specific package, you run the following command or any subset of it Code: git clone git@github.com:tmrlvi/kaspa-miner.git And, the miner (and plugins) will be in targets/release. You can replace the last line with Code: cargo build --release --all From Binaries The release page includes precompiled binaries for Linux, and Windows (for the GPU version). Removing Plugins To remove a plugin, you simply remove the corresponding dll/so for the directory of the miner. libkaspacuda.so, libkaspacuda.dll: Cuda support for Kaspa-Miner libkaspaopencl.so, libkaspaopencl.dll: OpenCL support for Kaspa-Miner Usage To start mining, you need to run kaspad and have an address to send the rewards to. Here is a guidance on how to run a full node and how to generate addresses: https://github.com/kaspanet/docs/blob/main/Getting%20Started/Full%20Node%20Installation.md To start mining, you just need to run the following: Code: ./kaspa-miner --mining-address kaspa:XXXXX USAGE: Code: kaspa-miner [OPTIONS] --mining-address <MINING_ADDRESS> OPTIONS: Code: -a, --mining-address <MINING_ADDRESS> The Kaspa address for the miner reward Donation Addresses Elichai: kaspa:qzvqtx5gkvl3tc54up6r8pk5mhuft9rtr0lvn624w9mtv4eqm9rvc9zfdmmpu HauntedCook: kaspa:qz4jdyu04hv4hpyy00pl6trzw4gllnhnwy62xattejv2vaj5r0p5quvns058f Title: Re: KaspaMiner - A fast CPU/GPU miner for Kaspa Post by: dwarf0 on November 25, 2022, 10:21:05 AM Hi.
I read the "readme" file, and as I understand it, there is no option in the miner config that would be possibility run *.bat file (like reboot.bat) upon reaching the specified target hashrate like in trex "--script-low-hash" ? (sorry for my english) Title: Re: KaspaMiner - A fast CPU/GPU miner for Kaspa Post by: FP91G on November 25, 2022, 10:51:28 AM I found on github the latest version v0.2.1-GPU-0.7 dated August 24th. Many competitors have upgraded their kaspa miners since then many times and have achieved a nice increase in hashrate and lower power consumption.
Is there a hashrate table for video cards? Do drop a feedback because I don't feel comfortable downloading a new miner I know nothing about.
Title: Re: KaspaMiner - A fast CPU/GPU miner for Kaspa Post by: sxemini on November 28, 2022, 12:39:32 PM This miner is legit, it was the first official miner as i remind. I used it months ago before kaspa became more support. But it is not worth anymore to use it, much slower than the other miners.

And why official miners do not want to compete with third-party miners? If the coin is popular on modern video cards, then the commissions give developers a good profit. And if you do not release new versions for several months, then the miners will stop using this software.
