Title: Connecting BlueWallet to Bitcoin Core
Post by: BGK045 on November 21, 2022, 02:58:38 PM
Hi - I'm in the process of setting up my Bitcoin Core node and would then like to connect my BlueWallet to Bitcoin Core. Where do I find the correct IP address and secure port? Thanks in advance for any help!

If I'm not wrong then you need to specify your local IP address if you're connecting it to your own node. According to https://bitcoiner.guide/blue/ (it uses Electrum btw) you just need to type your local PC address and then create your wallet as usual. Check your router to check your local PC address (or use the network properties/something similar). You might find more help if you post this on the Wallet sub-board, so I suggest doing that. @BGK045
Your other thread in "Wallet Software" board has more reliable answers, you can stick to it for further questions.
I'll ask a mod to close this thread.
