Hi all,
I managed to participate in a lot of games in the past and earned lot of coins from games like Alien worlds.
Anything new on the market which gives you coin for playing?
Any new projects which you recommend and why?

It's full with grinders. TLM (alien worlds) is very bad now.

I think that you must also try to play non games based to earn like STEPN too. This may gives you some pennies if you are walking everyday. that's to make sure that if all of those things i have mentioned above didn't require any money except axie infinity.

This trend has gone down now. I think you should choose another one. Play to earn was on peak in previous days and this give a lot of earning opportunities to the users. But now it is going more down.

Like in which you participated you can see the users are facing many problems.

There are many play to earn game and coin that will can take a look that will be very amazing just like some persons had mentioned. There are some coin that has play to earn project that is still growing and with time, we are going to get the full game. I just like new project with p2e games because they can have more bonus and rewards.

I think STEPN you need to buy at least one pair of shoe to start earning.

  -  There are only three known hit play-to-earn games and these are Sandbox, games under Wemix games, and Axie Infinity. But the two here like Axie and wemix games are no longer so noisy and trendy. Because if I compare it to the present, it's hard to make money right now, compared to last year when at least it was quite popular and you can tell if there is any profit.

I don't know about Sandbox but I think until now it seems to be better than Axie and wemix, this is just my opinion.

I was very interested for something like these a year or two ago. It seemed it was a big hit in the crypto market. The hype was theirs. But I think it wasn't really for those who are busy attending to a lot of things. I tried Axie Infinity but it was only for a short time. Now it seems most of them are not giving much earning anymore. But still I heard of some friends who are continuously playing P2E games despite the low rewards. Aside from Alien Worlds, I heard of Mining Network, Farming Tales, etc. I think they're all in the Wax blockchain.

Means you are looking for a game that is free and requires no investment? I can say that there will be no such project and those that are not invested, the rewards are very meager, not worth the time and effort we put in. P2E trends in my opinion have gone down and are almost no longer profitable, participating in them at this point is not a wise choice. If you want to earn free money in tough market times you can learn about testnet, retroactive.

There's no such play to earn games, but you're invest your money to the project and hope the asset you bought will increase, not decrease. Let's say you need to invest $1,000 first and you can earn 500 token that worth for $0.01 at the moment, which mean you can earn $5 per day. You will need 200 days or 7 months in order to get back your initial investment. But after a month the token is only worth for $0.001 this will make you hard to get back your initial investment, then after 3 months the token price is only $0.0001 which make you impossible to get profit through games.

Just try to learn new skills and offer it to fiver, you can find a real life job too.

It won't be the same with play to earn games in the near future.

Most of these games are still in beta testing that's why the likes of Sandbox and Axie infinity are taking the lead but very soon it will change.

If you can look deep into what some P2E projects are developing you will know that Axie and Sandbox won't stand a chance.

PYR and ILV will do much better in future.

You can still earn some coins but the problem here is the numbers of time you need to consume playing the game before getting any reasonable amount price. They just not giving it for free because they also invested huge money in it. In other words, it's more like forcing you to play games rather than free to play because you will see the others upgrading their items and skills fast when using their own money for some upgrades and you will force to do so if you don't want to be left behind. If you want to earn, you need to invest at some point and the problem is when you get addicted and you cannot stop anymore.

I have also benefited a lot from playing the game play to earn and got a lot of coins. namely thetan games. when the price of the coin/token was still high, I managed to collect quite a few. but it wasn't long before the token price crashed. and I also switched to axie infinity but I'm bored. and the last game is on stepn. maybe I will also look for it again like you OP. but now the trend of play to earn has fallen. so it's a little difficult to find a real potential.

Can you give more details about your picks before we will do a hard DYOR? Did you invest in it? Are you playing it already? How's your experience?

I'll continue to watch this thread. I believe p2e will continue to grow and soon we will be able to see games that are economically sustainable. I still have my Axie pets but only because I do not have the time to check them 1 by 1 before selling them. My new p2e investments were League of Ancients and Synergy of Serra but they haven't launched their games yet and I am starting to doubt their potential. 

Just last year, 2021, it can be said that the flow of play to earn was good and when 2022 came in, the income in play2earn games was a bit salty, think of the noisy axie that used to be, now it is no longer quiet.

It means that the flow of income in play2ean is not good anymore in the crypto industry dude. If there is, it will be tortured like in sandbox and mir4 and others that play2earn that is the truth that is happening now.

I think most of the NFT games that have been popular last year and bull run are still there. You can search for most of it and earn tokens from playing them.
But the thing is that all of them have dropped in price and their value has decreased a lot. That means that it's market capitalization has also decreased too much. If someone recommends you with those, good luck if you've got plenty of time to play with them and you're just for accumulation of those tokens preparing for the next bull run.

No problem. Glad to help you a little bit but as far as i know that if there are two choices you can earn from stepn. The first thing if you must buy one pair of shoe to be able to earn from doing daily walking or running and the second way is if you can rent shoe from the market.
The income might be different with when you have owned one pair of shoe to earning in the stepn. That's why renting may be better to earn free money from only walking everyday

Play to earn games hype is now depleted and it's hard to recommend games that can make you actually earn a decent amount of profits over your efforts. There are many play to earn games such as Axie Origins and other games that will reward you their token but the value of it is not that much. I believe that play to earn games will have a trend again but in our current situation, It's pretty impossible to have a hype game right now. Maybe before the next bull run, The quality triple A NFT games will create a new trend in the market and will have more sustainable economy unlike the earlier sh*tty rushed NFT games which are bound to doom.

I don't think it'll be wise to accumulate those tokens as they're basically dead, many of this tokens only got to te price they reached last bull market because of the hype that came to metaverse and play to earn projects. Most of the games were basically rubbish and not fun to play but only attract speculators that traded the tokens for gains and now they have dump them because there's no longer hype surrounding this projects.
If you want to invest in play to earn project then wait for the bear market to end and watch which projects are getting the media attention as those are the ones that'll get hyped next and much gains can be made from them. Buying this current ones will be a mistake as most of them can never return to their all time highs.

I suggest you BinaryX game, which is the best play2earn game, I had already played it, it is computrized game, but it requires some techniques for making the squad. You can search it at YouTube, and I'm suggesting this, because they distribute weekly prizes through which most of the users earn a lot by playing it.

Neither game is really earning at the moment. Hype game Play 2 earn has also decreased and is no longer profitable.
I played several P2E games such as Axie Infinity which in the end were no longer worth it to play because the capital was greater than the income earned. No new game project recommendations, I even stopped playing the game at this point and focused on making some trades.

I would be also interested to know if there are still good play2earn projects out there where you can really earn some money and that are also sustainable. Of course i don't expect to get rich from playing a game but to play a fun game and as a side effect earn some money with it would be a cool thing as a gamer in my opinion.
I thought that maybe it would be a good time to get into Axie infinity because it is the biggest play2earn project and probably will still be around in a few years, but then i read that there is some drama around their other token and that the players are unhappy about that. So i also have no idea what game to join.

I think its true but some games are real which you play then they give you reward on the form of coins and they give you profit.
But in this time many new this type game are market but not anyone truly give you profit.
So if anyone wants to play to earn game so select a famous game and registered game which give you profit.

I've seen a couple of projects in the last few months try to raise funds on Pinksale, but it appears they were not successful. They only have a small investment, which will not enable them to survive for long. I'm not sure where you earned it or which project you're referring to. However, the concept looks to be getting older, but so many investors aren't interested in playing to earn the concept.

Well, that's what OP wants and we're just giving him advice if that's what he really wants to do. Most of the NFT games and Metaverse projects today are stumbling down due to the market.
But even if we go back to the bull, it's still unknown if many of them will be lively again and if they're going to be at their best days again. It's just so unsure but reasonable that some are taking a gamble about what ifs and that's basically what everybody does for non-metaverse projects but are at low value now.

I'm currently playing Monster Galaxy (https://playmonstergalaxy.com/), if you were a gamer on Facebook in the early 2011 era, you might know this game, a nostalgic game that was re-developed by Gaia Online. And if you want to profit from this game, I don't recommend it, AFAIK the people who play this game are super fans and just want to reminisce. It was just about to move and forget about this P2E at this time, they're done already and most of these P2E platforms are performing badly.
Just look into Axie Infinity, gamers are leaving it because of the tragic situation they have, and most of them.

I'm not sure if their time will come back and make another hype because I've found it seasonal. Yes, it was indeed a lot of people who make money for them last year but now, they mostly got nothing, and too bad those who hold them until now.

Cryptoblades, defipet, Alienworlds, pegaxy, that 'dragon' thing. LOL I forgot the exact names, and axie infinity ofcourse which gave a lot of money to their player with or withiut investments. It's an ended era I guess although there are still ones which are still profitable but I gave up on nfts . I realized lately that in terms of profit, trading and investing to projects are more profitable. But when it comes on enjoyment, I'd go with gambling. Eitherway, risks are involved; that's just how this industry works. Another realization is that, there are really many ways to earn from this technology in general you just have to explore.

maybe you can try on the wax or EOS network they usually have a play to earn game which is quite interesting, but I am still in the stage of studying it, I am not familiar with the network, one of the games is propesector, it is said that this game has been around for a long time and is quite stable.

You can get a few coins from GODS UNCHAINED. It is not a new game but they recently added daily rewards which allows us to get a lot more earnigs. Thing is, you will need to lose some time and play a lot to earn good cards a build a good deck.

Once you are able to build a strong deck, it will be easier to get rewards.

This wax is new to me but not eos although I think there are only less play to earn projects under these networks because the focus of all are into eth, matic and sol network but why not try something different this time right? Maybe there are hidden gems that we can find there and there will be less scams so far since they are not really that in demand.

Studying first is essential so don't worry and don't think that it was a hindrance to you. This is better than jumping in an instant and then lose because you don't know what you are doing. If you have stock in a lot of knowledge it also helps you to earn better. Stable projects like the one you mentioned are great for long term and a good start for newbies.

Gods Unchained (https://godsunchained.com) pays for playing. It will pay more the better you are playing, but the sad thing is, others in there, that you are playing against, are really good. If you know heartstone, you will know how to play Gods Unchained as it's almost identical. (Except Heartstone looks better.)

And even if you are really good at that game, you most likely need to buy some good cards to beat most of your opponents.

People could shill anything they want here, that’s the beauty of bitcointalk, but to shill like you are not part of anything but just helping others to see something good, while the whole point is to attract new customers and investors, is a bad way to do it. Openly pay people to promote it, and just put up banners and such, have bounty campaigns, basically do a marketing for it and you will be maybe liked, or at least shilled by us all.

However, acting as if there is no connection and this is just an honest to god investment is a big trouble and will make you look shady and that is why many people do not invest into these things at all.

That is the risk of play to earn games. At the beginning you have to make an investment to start playing or simply to have some extra advantage over another players, but it doesn't mean profit is guaranteed this way, because while you make your way till ROI, the game can lose popularity, demand, therefore prices start falling, as we saw with Axie Infinity, so many players weren't able to recover their initial investments anymore. Play to earn games must be taken as an investment of risk. Moreover, it's suggested you play games you actually enjoy, so even if the prices crash, the money you have spent will be still enjoyed by you, as player.

If just for earnings coins, any popular and trendy P2E games should do.

But if you are looking at the decent value of those coins, I doubt there is right now.

The hype is now gone but it doesn't mean there will be no next trendy P2E games.
