Title: How many of you believe in Litecoin?
Post by: Blawpaw on November 23, 2022, 08:23:04 PM
Litecoin has always been one of my favourite cryptos. It was the first crypto after Bitcoin, and it was the third crypto I mined first.

Nowadays, I do not mine cryptos any more, but I'm still hoarding Litecoin as I believe I will still make 10x or plus more than what I have invested. After Bitcoin, for me, it is the best.

So, how many of you still believe in Litecoin and think we will still see it go past the $500 mark again?

I like Litecoin as I use it for transfers but I don't hold a lot of it. I believe on it that it will eventually have its time to shine again. Honestly, I'm happy to see it back at top 13 and might go higher soon. Because the last time I've seen it, was it's like around top 24 or higher than that rank.

Before thinking of it going to $500, it should take time to be around $150-$300 and be stable there. And it will happen based on how bitcoin will move too.

Litecoin is growing despite the current drop in prices of major coins.
I would say the potential is still on this coin but never I expect $500 could easily be reached this coming bull season. Though I wasn't buying Litecoin at this time still I know that many investors have their trust remain on this project as they believe the capability of this project and thinking for a profit once the bull season comes.

I also really expect that the price of Litecoin can really reach this. But in fact, seeing how the progress of Litecoin in the last bullish era, this seems like LTC is left behind the new coins. Well, I am still holding LTC since 2020, because I really expect that the price of LTC would be exactly skyrocket in the bullish at that time. But the times proved that it couldn't be. I am now still holding the Litcoin. Hopefully as what you also expect that Litecoin will be skyrocket much higher again in the next bullish era.

It has been in the market for so long, so the longevity is already there no question about it. And as long as it will be treated as a small brother to Bitcoin or sort of a genie pig, a test platform, then it will be in the market.

Good for you if you are still holding Litecoin. It had a good run in the last bull run, although it didn't get the love from the altcoin market and people forget that Litecoin is good for long term hold. Yeah, $500k in the future is doable, it might take year though before we achieved that price.

I just believe this coin really has very light transaction fees (hence the name) even in exchange transactions which are known to be stifling in average. Perhaps the only fundamental factor for making this coin able to pump independently is that many people need it to send small-scale value between centralized exchanges.

Actually this is one of the coins that I have a long term goal besides ETH and BNB. You could say this coin still has potential for the future, especially since this coin is still one of the top popular coins. So for me it seems that it is still feasible to be used as an alternative coin for long-term holding.

I am also using LTC but for daily transfer because it has cheap transaction fees and fast processing speed, and for investment I am not really interested in old coins like LTC, XMR, DASH...all of them proved to be quite slow in capturing their market share. If you focus on privacy or security then LTC and old coins are choice but for profit they are no longer relevant.

I trust Litecoin quite a bit and I think that even if it is a bit cheaper, at least it won't be a scam like FTX ,LUNA . It has been in the market for a long time and has maintained a large market share in the crypto market . And it is a coin trusted enough by everyone.  And various big companies are doing their work with Litecoin . I have a lot of faith in Litecoin and I have investments in it

The credibility of Litecoin is beyond question. This is one of the old coins on the market that still exists and continues to survive amidst various issues that hit the crypto market globally, even this coin is not too affected by the decline in crypto market capitalization. I don't hold this coin, but I think that Litecoin is a potential cryptocurrency and in the future it will definitely shine again.

Yes, Litecoin is one of the most useful coins when it comes to transfers. Its super fast and its transactions cost is very cheap. I have also use it for doing transactions exactly beacuase it has this great property. Comparing with stable coins it is lightningn fast,  its safer and as cheap as.

I do not invest in it, if given the choice to invest in altcoins, I will choose ETH and BNB more because the growth potential of these 2 altcoins will be greater than LTC. LTC was once a potential coin but now it is no longer strong enough to compete with today's new altcoins. What I like most about LTC is that it has low transaction fees and is also very fast, but to find a coin with similar features we also have a lot of choices.

$500 target is not a very high target but I have my doubts about LTC because looking at the price history from hitting an ATH of $360 in 2017 last year, it has surpassed the old ATH but only at level 380 dollars, the difference is not too much so the target of $ 500, I find it not very feasible.

Litecoin is a very good decentralized coin with good liquidity on many exchanges and other coin exchange services. There will be no big XX on this coin, but I do not think that the price of the coin will fall much.
And many new coins due to mining will not appear.

in 2021 I am saving enough Litecoin to make a long term investment (at first). But in the end I decided to let it go. not for distrusting Litecoin itself. however I prefer to move almost all of my long term investment into bitcoin. now i only trade it for short to medium term investment. But looking at the price of litecoin now, I'm a little interested in going back to collecting and storing it until the bull market comes back. and I still remember that Litecoin was the first coin that I held. i learn bitcoin but bitcoin is not my first coin. but in the end Bitcoin became a coin that I continue to hold until now and for the long term, of course.

Litecoin is one of the top cryptos of this industry in my opinion. It has chain being used in projects, because transactions fees are not as high as with other tokens. Although it came across with various issues before, the fact that it is still acknowledge by investors as a good coin to invest, simply proves that it really is. If ever there will be future developments with litecoin, I think it would be a better investment and a coin to be used in daily transactions. One thing I have observed in its value is being quite delayed with market pumps.Which I think has something to do with its market volume. I'm not quite sure yet if it would be a problem to ithers but to me it is better than other alts.

I have the opposite opinion from yours. This doesn't mean that it will be exactly like this, but it seems to me that Litecoin is a half-dead. I don't believe in the future of this project and that it will gain wide popularity and use, which will allow LTC to rise in price significantly. I know that the litecoin network has a lot of users, that there are more "points" accepting LTC as payment, but the premonition that this is "an exhausted horse, slowly losing its strength and position" doesn't leave me.

Litecoin is still one of my coins of choice now. Even though the price is currently under $100 but it will increase again and still can go above $100. But it's not easy considering that nowadays, many coins are predicted to shift the price of Litecoin, but that doesn't make Litecoin lose its supporters. Litecoin still has that opportunity, although we don't know for sure. At its current price, Litecoin can still be used as an investment besides other potential coins such as Ethereum, BNB or other coins.

I don't believe in Litecoin and I have my reasons.

This project is more like BTC maybe that's why the devs are very slow with development around Litecoin? Like there isn't too much to expect from this project because of the main reason why it existed in the first place?

Right now if all a project has to offer is faster transaction speed and cheaper gas fee it's not going to work but in Litecoin case I believe it's the community love that keep it alive.

There are just too many better options that's my reason.

Unfortunately, people do not realize the value in that. I mean they invest into things that have a central figure and "founder" or creator or "the dev" whatever you want to call it. Basically, someone who could destroy the whole project if they leave, or die, which is exactly the opposite of what Satoshi did, he ended up going away to make sure that bitcoin grew without him.

That is why I believe that we shouldn't be really investing into anything that has anything centralized. On the other hand, litecoin doesn't have it, sure charlie lee is there but he is nobody, he is just a good investor, just like vitalik, they are not the owners and they can leave and nothing happens, which was proven in litecoins case many times.

I am one of those people who still believe in bitcoin's little brother (LTC).
the reason I'm still holding LTC for the long term is because I don't think LTC has had any problems so far, well even though LTC hasn't provided fantastic ATH like BTC but I'm very sure in the future there will be big price surprises from LiteCoin.
maybe some people use LTC only for transactions for reasons of low fees and some also don't believe in LTC for the reason that LiteCoin has not had any extraordinary movements so far.
but for me it is not a problem and I will continue to believe that LTC in the future will definitely exceed $500

Will still be good but I'd say that it will follow the path of Bitcoin in terms of price action. There might be some news around that they developed that privacy upgrade of MimbleWimble for their technology so that's a plus to consider. I believe Litecoin has still space for this industry but with fast acceleration in technology it might behind in the competition.

It's not that I believed in Litecoin but there is no doubt that this coin is one of the worthy coins that everyone must consider adding to their portfolio. Ups and downs, good days or not, bull or bear, etc. LTC is proven to be one of the top coins that have a strong foundation.

Since most coins are having a bad day because of the current market situation, expect that even the top coins will not be excused by that.

LTC seems currently on its considered good entry price. It's your call to decide what will you do.

Indeed, Litecoin remains as one of the valuable assets in the crypto market. Many people are still using their platform but because of the market competition, sometimes they will be rejected. However, I'd see the developers working on it to remain competitive and improve their services. But what actually they need is to have market promotions. Many projects grow up because they are aggressive to expose their project in the community which I see it was effective enough.

There are other cheaper coins there for transfers but I just can't ignore this fact from Litecoin.

People may debate with that fact but there's something that make me don't want to ignore Litecoin for using it as is.

It's still making me want to use it for the transfers that I do and that's why I just can't leave it there. And it is my first go-to whenever I want to trade and transfer Litecoin somewhere else.

It is clear that Litecoin has what it takes to advance in the digital currency market. Its technology rivals, and is sometimes even better than, that of Bitcoin. By offering near-instant transactions, a strong track record of stability, and a familiar mining process, Litecoin shows the world that it can work as a cryptocurrency. It is being accepted everywhere, it has unbelievable potential for growth, and there are so many great innovations coming up in its ecosystem. I do still like Litecoin and I think we will definitely see it rise again once its gains more traction with merchants and is adopted more directly by users.

Litecoin had a potential as investors, Some coin only had a people for short period. I had nearly huge money in Litecoin over 3 years. The main disadvantage of the Litecoin was it won’t increase to huge value like the price of the Litecoin. Litecoin was in the market since the Ethereum exist in the market. But due to less support, the litecoin not reached the 1k dollar. People who are new to the market are requested to keep some litecoin for the future. Because their is myth of Litecoin will reach of 1000 dollars with his next quarter. In a long run Litecoin will reach the value of 5k dollars and long term holders will gain good profit.

This is always possible for me. But make sure if you are hoping Litecoin will go to $500 again, expect other coins will pump too like Bitcoin. For sure when Bitcoin creates new all-time high, litecoin will follow too but I am not sure that Bitcoin new all-time high will also a new all-time high for Litecoin too since I believe that Bitcoin is more capable to do it like the volume and also consider there are other new altcoins now.

No I don’t believe in it. Alts don’t deserve any worshippers imo. Litecoin is not an exception. It is usable in some occasions and I like ltc but I don’t know if it will exist 10 years later. It will probably be around but price wise, it won’t make a huge moonshot. That’s because ltc’s biggest holder dumped his coins long time ago. Imagine if satoshi came back to life and dumped a million btc on us… that’s what happened with ltc.

Most people wan to invest in tokens that will give them quick return and missed out of good project like LTC.

LTC has been able to stand the test of time, whilst others have faded into the Oblivion, LTC is still there standing.

Maybe in the nearest future more people will embrace it and appreciate it.

For now, I think they should do more in shilling the coin.

Litecoin has always been one of my favourite cryptos.

bitcoin has always been my favorite cryptocurrency, but litecoin has always been my favorite altcoin, i use litecoin for day trading, for casino play and for transfers. but i don't see a very good future for litecoin, if you ask me and being honest i don't buy litecoin to do hodl for many years, but strange that these days the price of litecoin has increased a lot in relation to bitcoin, i don't know if this has to do with some pump and dump, I don't know the reason for this big price increase, but the fact is that there was a big price increase in the last few days and if the bitcoin price rose to 24000$? then the price of litecoin would reach 130$

So, how many of you still believe in Litecoin and think we will still see it go past the $500 mark again?

honestly I don't believe that litecoin will reach 500$, I know that these days the price of litecoin has gone up a lot in relation to bitcoin, but the problem is that when the price of bitcoin starts to go up a lot people will sell litecoin to buy bitcoin and with that the price of litcoin at the most will reach 280$, for people who buy litecoin now they will be able to have profits of 3X or more, but they should not create high expectations that the price could reach 500$ because that is something difficult, unless that the price of bitcoin reached 100,000$, but in this case the price of litcoin would only reach 500$ thanks to bitcoin rising to 100,000$ that's why I prefer to just hodl bitcoin because at the end of the day altcoins only go up thanks to bitcoin

For a while, I was using Litecoin a lot when transferring from exchange to exchange because at that time there was no other coin that was available in all exchanges, providing cheap and fast transfers, but today there are dozens of coins that meet these needs. For this reason, I think that its use will decrease now. Therefore, investing in Litecoin is not a good and safe choice for me, but of course I would not argue that it will not be among the top earning coins again. To wrap it up, I think it's a risky choice. I wish you good luck.

That's the intriguing part I also noticed. I was observing its price a month or so ago, and Bitcoin was at $20.000 and Litecoin was at $50 levels. Currently, it's one of the few coins that is growing (over 20% increase in the past week) despite the ongoing bear market, making me regret thinking twice when I was interested in buying a while ago. In my opinion, it does have the potential to shine again; it used to be in the top 3 a few years ago, although it will still be outperformed by others such as BNB.

As long as litecoin continues to be on a good position and there’s a good update, I believe LTC can make it so I’ll be more optimistic for the future of LTC in the next bull trend. This is one of the cheapest network and I usually use it for my gambling activities, looking forward to heard more good news from them. Competition becomes more harder for LTC but still, they manage to catch up and stay within the competition, that is a good sign of a good project.

I do still use Litecoin to exchange for faster confirmation and less fee for every transaction on every exchange. Sometimes the fee of exchanges are too high with Bitcoin, so I use Litecoin for the alternative and have pretty good result for low-fee transaction stuff. Litecoin was pretty good when the faucet still exist with so many faucet giving actually decent amount of litoshi every claims, but other than aforementioned stuff above I rarely used it.

Litecoin has always been one of my favourite cryptos. It was the first crypto after Bitcoin, and it was the third crypto I mined first.

I used to see Litecoin as a very promising coin, and even considered it as silver, as Bitcoin is to gold but as time passed, Litecoin had diminished its popularity and was taken over by ETH and other altcoins.  It it also has slow development which probably affect its popularity.  Before Litecoin market has lots of excitement but as time passed by the excitement of the Litecoin market also perished.  It looks like a famous coin of the past.  And checking their site, there aren't any developments except for the MimbleWimble.

Nowadays, I do not mine cryptos any more, but I'm still hoarding Litecoin as I believe I will still make 10x or plus more than what I have invested. After Bitcoin, for me, it is the best.

Hopefully, you hit your target price in this coming bull season.  Though we can agree to disagree that Litecoin is the next best crypto in the industry.

So, how many of you still believe in Litecoin and think we will still see it go past the $500 mark again?

The cryptocurrency market is crazy, a market can gain 1000% without any reason and dump into oblivion in just a simple FUD.  In short, I may not expect that Litecoin will go past $500 again but with the pump and hype available in the market, there is still a chance for LTC to hit $500 again and maintain the price even in a short period of time.

And you confirm the usefulness of Litecoin over other platforms. It was the fee concern and Litecoin gives you the best offer.
Was true that many users still keep using this coin, yet the demand is just low still I know that investors and traders will still notice this project someday.
That is strong proof of why Litecoin will never fade. In fact, we have noticed that the price is moving high meaning, the demand is quite growing as well. And it simply means that people still consider Litecoin a valuable asset in the crypto market.

Right now I don't have a litecoin because I see that the potential to survive and develops is very difficult, competition with new projects that are strongly financially supported makes Litecoin's position continues to decline, need new innovations so that people return to Litecoin.

Long time didn't have Litecoin anymor, since litecoin halving dates is near I guess it's a good choice to invest in litecoin again. My prediction we can hit new ATH when the halving is done and the bull market start to begin maybe that's around 2024 or end the year of 2023. Also that small fee is really good for litecoin to keep getting favourite.
litecoin is an old altcoin, and until now it still survives following the rhythm of bitcoin, I think many people think the same about this altcoin, so the belief that it can still grow is very large. until now litecoin remains at the top of coinmarketcap, and its ranking can be stable, in general, so many people remain loyal, at a time like this I think it's the right time to invest, there have been 2 peaks that have occurred, and the next bullish season i think the $360 area will be broken and form a new ATH

LTC is actually a pretty decent transaction coin, now more so with their available privacy feature rollout. The pump might correspond to privacy minded individuals that still want to be able to offramp unlike with Monero.
I wouldn't chase this pump in a bear market tho.

Personally, I have doubts whether Litecoin will ever refer to its glory days again. Recognition and the fact that it will always be known as "second only to bitcoin" are in its favor. However, as a project, litecoin failed my expectations. There was a time when it could grab a large chunk of the crypto market by filling in the gaps left by Bitcoin. Currently, there is no shortage of competitors and there are many more dynamically developing projects. As an early adopter, however, I have a great fondness for old coins and I am glad that many of them still exist on the market, in a smaller or larger role.

In various aspect Litecoin is one of the best coins in the market today. As we know this coin is built on the Bitcoin protocol which was created in 2011 from a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain. Investors have a positive attitude towards this coin. When the market stabilizes to a better position many will be aware of the dominance of this coin. Currently this coin has gained quite a reputation as a payment method. The coin also holds the 15th rank in market cap. Many agree that it will pump big into the bullish period. The coin is about 82.4 percent below its current price which can be called a good means of reliable investment.

I've been also an investor of Litecoin as at that time, only Litecoin I can buy in whole. What I mean is that I can buy 10 Litecoin while I can't buy 1 BTC in whole, so for me it is an achievement to buy something like that and it is the second cryptocurrency and up until now it is exist and surviving, I still believe that Litecoin is a good investment though we don't hear any latest news about it, it still has a good volume and still in the top 20 coins.

But there are now many new coins which might take the market and such as Ethereum, BNB, SOL and ADA.

I don't believe in the $500 for LTC, but in stable 100 it is quite possible.New investors who come to the crypto market do not often buy old assets, they are more interested in more modern meme coins and tokens.I often buy some,if I have free money and use it even more often if I need to send funds between exchanges.I think a lot of people do that.

Litecoin is one among the coin that have got good usage and accepted into more number of services compared with different other cryptocurrencies. Being an old coin it have got its importance. However it lacks growth and it was growing along with ethereum. Later ethereum progressed, but Litecoin missed the move. Till date it have been struggling to make a big move.

Litecoin is good for long term. It is one among the trusted investment where profit in the long term is assured, but the profit too won't be that big.

Used to have some stash on litecoin but realized that they are all just the same in the end. They will all go up if bitcoin's price up, and go down if bitcoin's price go down. If all alts dependency on bitcoin remains, their market movements and patterns will remain similar, Litecoin hasn't had a very remarkable upgrade in the last few years which makes it as stale as it can be. The only reason its value holds up is because it was the first altcoin, and a lot of interest on its value (not with its tech) has been vested by a lot of early adopters in the past.

So, how many of you still believe in Litecoin and think we will still see it go past the $500 mark again?
The days for litecoin to be called as silver in crypto already gone. We will not see that litecoin even surpassed $500 again. Nothing impossible but seeing from people these days taking utilities as everything to bet makes me sure if litecoin will not have even touched its ATH again.
Litecoin was lack of utility and it was only developing the anonymous related product that makes transaction gave more privacy to the users. Bitcoin needs to surpass 100k to see that litecoin will be touching such rate. I didn't even see any possibility for that price to be achieved by litecoin.
This old coin is also lose against the new token that being developed after that. These days people are valuing so much about something that being called as utility from the token. It was not even only offering BS. The only good usage for litecoin was for payment system purpose only.

That is of course a great feeling and makes you feel richer. However, we should remember that if you can't buy btc, you could try to get 1 whole eth, and if you can't then there is bnb, and if you can't then you could do ltc.

However, just because you could buy it whole doesn't mean it's good, you could get tens of thousands of doge, or you could even get millions and maybe even billions of shiba as well and none of that means anything as long as the marketcap is low. What you won as a total worth in dollar value is what matters and if you could buy a good chunk of it as well. I personally diversify my portfolio and LTC is one part of it as well.

I still hold few litecoins which were collected through faucets and giveaways. I remember the times when litecoin was trading around 0.02 BTC levels and I am still believing that kind of price range for encashing my litecoin hoarding. I may sound non realistic but I am just expecting a kind of scenario like what happened for dogecoin.

Yeah, I mean if someone like Elon Musk decides to adapt and want to call themselves as a "litefather" then litecoin may resume its journey to stars. In my opinion, there are 99% chances for this to happen and if you ask similar things are possible for new coins then definitely there would be only 1% chances but for old gems there could be better chances. Like dogecoin, I am expecting waves, BCH, BSV, Tron, RDD to fly in coming years for different reasons/adaptions.

That's what people said before on bitcoin especially when ATH hit and it dumps when bearish market happened but it defy all doubts from people since bitcoin bounce back again the same with other altcoins when it having a big really and Litecoin is included with that. So there's no doubt that Litecoin will pump back again since once many people feels that bear market is over they will grab some altcoins to buy and Litecoin will be one of their option to hold since this is old coin which is tested by many bear market seasons.

LTC is a coin that manages to follow the direction of movement of bitcoin price when bullish and bearish. For me, it doesn't matter if this coin is out of date. But, what is important is to keep it for a long term investment, LTC is more convincing than meme tokens which you think as a modern projects. I know, a lot of people hope to suffer the same fate as when doge reaches ATH, because doge is just a meme coin too. There is nothing wrong with that thought. But, if you don't think about the long term, have you looked at the research on how many thousands of meme tokens are being lost today with millions of dollars of investors' money that definitely won't be able to come back? Whereas you buy 1 LTC right now at $75, it will be safer to hold than buying 10,000,000 (meme tokens) worth $50 hoping that it will last as long as LTC.

Litecoin is already an example of a blue chip in the cryptocurrency world. You can invest in Litecoin, but only when the coin is very cheap, as it is now, for example. Then investing in Litecoin is justified, but if investing in Litecoin happens on highs, this coin is not like bitcoin, which gives profits even if you buy the coin at ath mark. Litecoin, for example, rose only 15% last year, relative to the highs of 2017, so it's worth waiting until the coin collapses 70-80% to make the investment worthwhile.

I don't have that much experience with Litecoin because to be honest i have never owned any Litecoin nor mined it or something like that. As you already said Litecoin is one of those crypto projects that are around for many years now and for that fact alone i think it is a very likeable project. From the tech side it is not that impressive as far as i know of. It is a simple Bitcoin clone with minor tweaks to enable more transactions and lower transaction fees but that is pretty much it.
I don't really know if i believe in Litecoin or not, i think it is definitely possible that litecoin will face the same future as some other older projects that were among the top 10 a few years ago. It needs to be careful to not lose relevance slowly but surely.

Those were the days for litecoin for sure, it was definitely entertaining and it was a great period for all of us. I have to say it is going to be like that for litecoin in the future again or at least that is what I believe in. I know that not many people believes that, but I do believe it and I think it will be amazing.

What we need to do right now is to make sure that everyone is considering the possibility of bitcoin being great for being early, but litecoin was in 2011 as well so it is very early too and still standing good at around top 20 for good. It means that something that is as good as litecoin and has been consistent, should be growing bigger.

Yeah, I am also a litecoin holder but I am just expecting it to gain values up to 0.01BTC; yeah just half of what you people might be dreaming about. But, I strongly believe into dogecoin kind of situation for litecoin as well. This may be just an imagination but we cannot ignore that only dogecoin is alone attractive to some world richest people.

Holding for years with a target in BTC value which may decrease over the years when bitcoin's value gradually increasing every 4 years must be a big challenge for all the people who calculate profits or losses in BTC. Still, I want to hold litecoin for infinity time frame or up to a price level which may convince me to sell off all my litecoin hoarding.

And only a few people had seen the negative view of Litecoin as more of us still believe that Litecoin remains a potential and useful platform.
I'm one of those thousands who use and spend money on Litecoin and despite the tough market competition, I'd never lose my faith in this project. I'd base not only on the position of the project before to say it was a promising one but I look deeper and see the significance of the project for this will help to measure where it goes.

Litecoin was reached more then expected now. It better to buy some litecoin when the market is dump. Litecoin is purely depends on the price of bitcoin, So when the price of bitcoin reduced. Don’t hesitated to buys some  litecoin. Because when the price of bitcoin get his pump market, you can easily get minimum profit of 10-15$. Getting 10-15$ from the investment of 100$ is nearly 10 percentage of profit. Which is hard one for the trading in the bear market to the most of the trusted stable altcoin in the market.

$500 is too high but I don't disregard the fact that Litecoin is really one of the best potential coins. It will be hard for Litecoin to reach that price but somehow I believe that it can reach $100 when the bull market approaches.
I'm a long time believer of Litecoin and that's also the reason why I have been using it in most transactions even in gambling.
Some people might look down on it because of the current market situation but we all know how Litecoin could reach its best potential. I'm sure that it could reach better when the market recovers.

I believe, Litecoin price will improve soon to remain stable for a while for those that thought Litecoin is dead to see people celebrating a massive profits from their Litecoin investment.

$5 million worth of LTC [1] was withdrawn from binance yesterday. This is a very large ampunt of money. If the whales have started withdrawing their assets from the exchange, there is a possibility that a bullish period will begin soon. Of course this must also be balanced with the fundamentals of bitcoin, if we are getting negative fundamental, i think LTC can be more dip. (for those who are new to LTC), With the price below $100, and the current market conditions is very bad, LTC price drops are normal, no need to worry.

I also like litecoin! I think this coin is very much undervalued! But if we take the dynamics of the price, then it is somewhat similar to Bitcoin and Ethereum. I would generally put this coin in third place in the ranking right after Ethereum. But in general, the interesting news is that litecoin is ahead of Solana and Shiba Inu in terms of market capitalization, and this says a lot.

I think I know the reason on why you don't mine cryptos like ltc anymore. It's not because you are busy or what but it's because their difficulty now is high. It wasn't the same as before that you can just easily mine them using a standard computer but now you will need an actual miner and we all know how energy consuming they are.

It's simply not worth it to mine top coins anymore but it's wise if we can just buy and hodl them. That should cut all the hassle and we can be more profitable by this once their price pumps in later on. Litecoin has been quiet for a while but this coin is a sleeping giant. Just keep on buying and hodling more ltc guys.

Well that was a problem when you joined, because if you join at the bad time then it could crash. However, if you joined in 2012-2013 like I did, and bought litecoin and hold it until now, the profit you would make could have been insane. I didn't hold it, I joined in those days, made about 10x back in the day and then sold it, I spent that money already unfortunately.

I have made a good living out of crypto, not rich right now but haven't been into any office for the past 7 years, that should be good enough "profit", and I would say if all of that money was given to be in total, I would have been able to buy a house with it easily (7 years worth of living expenses could equal to a house). So I know what I am talking about.

the only use of litecoin to me is it's low transaction fees for sending. i dont think it really has a real value proposition. but i like it still.

I used to use it to transfer funds between exchanges, but that's all i used it for. But now there are faster and cheaper alternatives to send between exchanges. Some could say that they are less decentralized and they would be right, but as i am already sending between centralized exchanges i don't see a point to use slower tech just because of a principle.
I personally don't see any use for it, except maybe to act as a test platform for future features in BTC

The point where their main dev sold everything on the top was enough for me to not even look at the chart anymore. I like the logo though.

Litecoin was an interesting option by 2016 or so, but since then I've observed it has lost popularity in crypto market for new projects that have been hyped. I think Litecoin won't be completely abandoned by crypto enthusiasts, because it's part of the early years of this industry, so people have a nostalgic feeling for LTC, but at same time I don't think it can have any important main role in the future of cryptocurrencies.

I have been trading LTC coin since 2017 when it was one of the top 10 crypto currency and as fork of Btcoin it was very popular currency. People used to transfer funds by using its network because its transaction fee was comparatively lower than Bitcoin.

Many analysts believed it will hit $1000 in the bull market but it never happened and its ATH in 2021 bull market was around $400 which was much lower than market expectations.

I think Lite coin team need to work hard to make it a popular method of payment for merchants to exploit its real potential.

The trick about litecoins is that it is never the biggest name, it will never be like a top 5, maybe push top 10 but I am pretty sure that it won't happen neither. So all in all it is not a top name, but it is a trustworthy one that will not turn out to be a scam and will go up in the future. So, how do you make a decision on it? What do you do with a coin that is good, but not great, that is the question.

If you want to pick something that is risky and make you a lot of money then you pick something lower, if you want to pick something that makes more solid then you pick btc or eth. Then what is the point of all of this? Makes no sense to me at all.

Another thing that is keeping Litecoin alive is the fact that we are seeing it go on longer than people expected it to go on and that gives it a boost. Normally if it was invented just last year then it would have been gone already, but we all know that it has been around for over a decade already and that means it is not a bad one and it could be trusted for being here so long. Not even about itself, not about litecoin, not because it is great or anything, but only because it has been around for longer than any other aside from bitcoin. That time alone itself is a huge boost to its price and how much people trust it.

Until now I still store classic coins even with a small amount, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, etc, waves and so on are still in the wallet, of course I hope Litecoin can make ATH again so as to make investors optimistic with the future of Litecoin.
I just notice that classical coins except btc, eth, are not that active anymore in terms of pump but I know there are still a demand for them because these coins are still being accepted in so many platforms like for example in gift card/shopping sites and gambling sites. I think people mainly uses them for payment purposes and not really for investment.

So, I am not sure if ath from those classic coins can be achieved but if you want to see an ath why not go for btc, eth and other cryptos instead? You will have more chances with them when the bull run returns. Anyway, you said you only invest small on the coins that you list so I expect most of your money still goes in the coins that I suggested.

There is definitely some truth in what you say, but the age of a coin is not enough to constantly attract new investors and more and more money to their project. Because we know a lot of examples of old coins, which are on the market for a long time, but nobody needs them and nobody buys them. But LTC has big community among investors and miners, that's why with each new bull run it grows in value more, than in previous cycle, and not every coin, even those that are on the market for a long time, can do that.
