I am pretty sure I paid around that much when I bought my rx580 brand new about 5 years ago. They were maybe worth it about 6 months ago but now with ETH mining out of the question they can be had for around $100 or so.

Even if you sell video cards for $120, then the cost of shipping to other countries will greatly increase the cost of the video card. In local markets, you can find similar video cards for $100-120, and the wholesale price is even cheaper. But they pay off for a long time even with free electricity.

330 dollars for a used Rx 580 8 Gb?I am trying to sell my Rx 580 4 Gb for just 60-80 Eur which is almost the same in dollars value and people keep calling me and saying,I will think about it,I have sold many of them but lately I see buyers interest fading away and since it is fading away at my levels imagine at yours,I also know that the 4 Gb difference between our cards does not cost more than 200 dollars in value.Where I am the 8 Gb version is going on for 120 USD and still people are having difficulty to sell,pretty much their time is gone and trying to maximize your profit on them will bring you nowhere so if you want to sell them,go ahead and drastically lower the price.

It seems GPU mining i is no longer profitable.

How about move this thread to the right section instead? You can get more impression if you post it in computer hardware section this section is for mining discussion not for selling GPUs.

If the DAG file is less than 4 GB, then the RX 580 4 GB and RX 580 8 GB video cards give the same hashrate. Even Ethereum Classic can be mined until September 2025 on video cards with 4 GB of memory. Therefore, buying 4 GB video cards in the presence of very cheap electricity can quickly pay off if the price of Ethereum Classic increases several times.
