We all have a different experience how we started our first bet. Their are people who started bet without having any knowledge concerning it. Their are some people started with a help from a friend to bet and their are some who took their time to learn before they started paying bet.

How was your first start? Did you play blindly or spent some time to learn.?

I started with bookmakers, in 2014, EPL. I did not know much about leagues and tournament in football at the time. I registered on a local gambling site, I went to a fiat ATM machine to fund my betting account. I chose four matches with 2 odd included and I won the accumulated bet. That made me thought gambling is easy, not knowing it was the beginning of addiction and losses to come.

I first started gambling in 2017. I shared the first gambling game with a close friend of mine and participated in gambling from there.I was initially blind about this gambling game but with the help of my friend later learned about gambling.At first there was some difficulty but later there was no problem.I have lost many things in my life because of this gambling game. Sometimes I gain more than I lose.

You do not need to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to gamble... I figured it out by myself, but I think for people betting on Crypto casinos... it might be a bit more complex. My personal example:
I started betting small in lottery and slot bets blindly. That happened before I got to know online gambling sites, after I got to know online crypto gambling sites, of course I learned more about gambling, how to place bets, how to play and all the ways related to these gambling sites, be it slot games, sports, dice, poker and so on.

Conclusion: at first I was involved in gambling betting blindly and changing with the learning method as time went on, until now.

I did not have a hard time learning my first bet on a dice game a friend explained this to me I first played my first attempt on Stake.com, I also fall on this martingale thing by reasoning at first logic tells us that doubling up will recover our losses but was busted because there is no guaranty that your next roll will be in your favor because of the house edge I ended up losing my winning, my first gambling, I experienced my first chasing my loses, it's really a bad experience.

Don't play blindly, it's wrong behavior in my opinion, even if you like to play gambling in your bets, you still have to have good control in your finances so you don't lose everything, so the initial escort shouldn't be bad because you lose a lot of money except just having fun.

In my case first betting was the memorable for me. As a small boy my grandfather used to take me to the store where he always played lottery and would give me 2 scratch cards when we were watching the lottery girl picking the numbers Saturday evening. My parents still hate gambling to this day, but my grandfather taught me a lot about it with out them knowing. Also my first few card games I learned from him. For the first time in a casino it was still fun and a great atmosphere.

I used to follow one of my friends to gambling back then when i have no sound experience in it but the day i make up my mind to have a try was my first loss as well because i place the bet but couldn't win, but ever since that first attempt it has triggered me to consistently gamble with the expectations and hope to win something big seing others winning around me, but unfortunately all attempts in the first month were failed and a waste of money because i don't have the giid experience in gambling and the kind of bet i place but what was over me then wad the desperation for a win by luck.

My first gambling experience occurred a long time ago, so I cannot quite remember the exact details, but it was as a result of my interest in sports.

Same with mine too. I just did a random betting with a small amount at first, and then when I happened to lose consistently, that’s the time I started gaining knowledge about gambling and develop my own skills particularly in sportsbetting through my various experiences. His experience is most probably what we call beginner's luck as he got lucky from his first bets. Good thing, my stake wasn't huge but I surely tried some huge stakes at some point and still, I lost. Then I realised gambling was just about the lucky and that doesn't come often. Had to be smart about it.

I cant really remember when I started gambling for the first time but I can say that I did learn first before spending money to gamble. For example, here in my country and when I was kid. Well, precisely related to what I just said in another thread, my first gambling was playing slots when I was underaged. It wasn't just me, it was with friends. We went to a bar where there was a machine, and I don't remember well, but I guess someone in the group or someone I knew who was underaged also started playing slots. Everyone was underaged and the bar master turned a blind eye.

I started first in 2019 with dice and my experience was not that bad but was also not that good. Started with small amount and gradually went into the big ones. At first it was good as I was making small profits bit with big amount it was the exact opposite. Now I only bet with smal amounts and somedays are good and some days are bad.

I clearly remember 3 stages how I got familiar with gambling.

First - when I was still in school, on the way home some of my friends were discussing how they easily won a bit in slots. I got really impressed with that, with how easy it was to place a bet on a sport event. I always thought that I have to go to sports betting places, talk to a manager/special person, make a bet and spend time there, to be able to collect a reward. P.S. What also really impressed me, that in my "first" story, when you win in slots in those casino rooms, slot machine did not give you anything (even though you insert coins and bill in there). Atleast you have experienced and became aware of what greed is than to learn it the hard way. Given how addictive this industry is, people who are wanting to engage with this activity should really be knowledgeable of what they are trying to go into. First time I have ever "gambled" was poker games on my computer, not real money, it was zygna and that was a good time, and I learned about it and later on played with my friends, we played for cigarettes, each joint was a bet, and since one pack of cigarette was cheap, we all bought red Marlboro and then we played for it, the one that had none left got out, and the one with all of it won in the end. I got my first experience of gambling as a child playing various card games. My first money card game was in my school years.

Addiction can hit anytime.  Even if the gambler plays what he can afford to lose if he left his self unchecked, he will eventually succumb to the temptation and possibly become addicted to gambling.  So the best thing to do to avoid gambling is to have ourselves in check.  We must reflect on our actions if we are still in control or the urge to gamble overwhelm us.

I don't remember the first attempt, and based on what I remember the betting platform is Directbet and the bet was on tennis matche. I think this shouldn't count as your first bet since your friend made the bet, it was your friend who did the game analysis, it was your friend who made the deposit and bet, so it doesn't count as your first bet. your first bet is something you made the deposit yourself, you made the game analysis yourself, you made the bet yourself, don't you remember the first day you made a deposit at a casino? don't you remember the first day you made a deposit at a casino? don't you remember the first day you made your first bet alone?

My first experience of gambling was very bad. I lost all the money that was with me that day. Though it was fun. I played about three different games. And I lost all. When I came out from the casino hall my friends laughed at me. Really I was not happy that day. Anyway, what happened was already done but the important thing is that you learned from your mistakes especially about the funds, it's best to know that gambling is an expensive form of entertainment and that is why only gamble some spare funds and funds that you can afford to lose. There's no need to frown because I bet you did enjoy that experience.

Hey, we all have these brainfart moments sometimes, I myself in a few occasions back when I was still a high school student. Nowadays I look back and think that's just part of what made that life of mine pretty enjoyable ig. The important thing was he had fun, hopefully though said clothes weren't exactly important enough to be needed to be bought immediately.

I'd actually consider learning about gambling at a young age an advantage, the most you have on your own is pretty small after all so losses, in the bigger sense, is also pretty low. At some point, I wasn't Interested in gambling because if the mentality that was instilled in us back the when we were very little about gambling and gamblers.

I think that kind of method is not permitted in "real" casinos.

In my opinion the Martingale strategy is one of the gambling tricks to get your money, and the longer you play the more money you lose.
