We are similar to Sandbox/Decentraland

I don't have any information about metaverse, but whatever your project is, you are probably launching a token/coin.
If it's a coin, post your topic on "Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0)" and if it's a token, post your topic on its child board, "Tokens (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0)".

You cannot be directed to a specific section because the concept of Metaverse is a comprehensive concept and may consist of several different elements, each of which is discussed in a dedicated section. Can you tell us if your project has its own token and in what field will your Metaverse project be activated?
It is likely that you are still in the development phase, so you can publish the topic in detail in the "Project and Development" section before thinking about publishing the official announcement.

I don't think "Project Development" board is suitable for altcoins/tokens announcements, even if the project is in development phase.  As you can see in the homepage of the forum, "Project Development" is under "Bitcoin" section and I think you should post bitcoin related topics there.
OP should make his/her topic in "Alternate cryptocurrencies" section.

Yep, scams are best posted in the altcoin section.  Unfortunately Theymos hasn't created a specific section for them yet, although "investor based games" is close. 

I do not have enough evidence to accuse your project of being a scam, as some others may have thought, but I do not find all of these ideas that you mentioned convincing or that they may represent a vital area for investment. The forum will not prevent you from posting in any topic, as there is a section dedicated even to posts off-topic. Be careful that your ideas are not convincing because the members here are smarter than you can imagine. And I expect that you have an idea about this before thinking about posting here and using the forum.

This is an interesting way to advertise your project while trying to stay within the forum rules for posting in this section. The discussion here really shouldn’t be about the project, and a link to it isn’t really appropriate in my opinion. It should probably be locked. If everyone who had a project to promote made a thread like this in Meta it wouldn’t scale too well. As far as promoting your project, this is a poor first impression of it…

First asking for guidline then pick a perfect reply to promote your project. Seems like you have done your homework quite well.
Marketing like this will never bring you positive impression. If you have anything to promot like this you should consider posting on altcoin section of this forum.

I remember when there was whole lot of threads on the first page of Meta board asking @theymos to create a different board for this NFT discussion but all responses were they are part of altcoin discussion only so no need to have a different board for them.As you said when you check altcoin section although you have it on ignore board if I remember correctly you will find yourself surrounded by lot of scam projects promoting themselves and shitcoin discussion without any base.

The NFT project already makes you fit in the altcoin board and you also have your token on some blockchain which will go to the same board where you can have your thread and continue the discussion and post announcement if any.

I would say you to lock this topic so that it would not lead the NFT discussion here as you have already got your answer so it's best not to go off topic and strech this discussion.
