Title: Advice / Help - UI UX Design Post by: aoluain on December 02, 2022, 12:59:37 PM Hi all, I think/hope this is the correct board to post this in
My son is a few months in to a UI UX design course online and wants some related BOOKS for Christmas but we have no idea what to get. A bit of background: he has been working in Data Analytics for a few years and wants to add UI UX Design to the portfolio. My first thoughts on this would be that the area is a fast moving one and that somebooks would become obsolete fairly quickly I could be wrong though. I guess there are a lot of designers in this board so hopefully you have some suggestions. any input is much appreciated. These days who could be better than a search engine? 😉UI UX Design to the portfolio. https://userguiding.com/blog/best-ux-design-books/ https://www.eleken.co/blog-posts/ui-ux-books https://www.creative-tim.com/blog/educational-ui-ux/best-web-design-books/ https://www.uxdesigninstitute.com/blog/must-read-books-for-ux-designers/ There are many to start but from above references you should be able to select one or two for him. P.S: I am wondering how old is your son? suggestions from UI UX designers here on the forum. I see from those 4 links the first recommendation from 3 of the sites is a "general" design book - 1. The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman are they just copying each other or is that book really the "Bible" of design? |
