If you need an escrow service there are several users here, me included, that have offered reliable escrow services for a decade now. Using some random website is not a good idea unfortunately. I doubt you’ll ever see those funds again but I hope you learned a valuable lesson. Don’t trust, verify. There are more people out there trying to steal from you than there are trying to help you. Sad but true.

We're they recommended by the person you were trading with?
A quick search shows they've been running a scam project for many years now, and the person who suggested using that website most likely is culpable as well.

is there any chance i can get it back?
It depends on what you sent; if it's crypto currency, independently recovering the funds isn't possible, but if the owners are discovered by law enforcement agencies, then there might be a slight possibility.

This is not reported to be a case of phishing, but you can report the website here - https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en
There's no guarantee it would be brought down, but it's worth the few seconds.

This is not reported to be a case of phishing,

I'd say it still counts as phishing since the new owner of the domain still rides on the previous owner's name/brand.

For the record again as we have received multiple scam reports in Year 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Beware we don't own this site anymore (the domain expired in May 2015) and we do not have information about the new owners.

I've had reports that the new owners are not responding to emails and not releasing escrowed funds.

As pointed out, your chances are low but I would still check if the scammers are dumb enough to send it directly to centralized exchanges. Can you share the address with us?

Based on their WHois, the domain has been active since 2015 but it has a new owners, and searching further they have a bad reputation as an escrow
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/btc-asia.com so it's unlikely that you can get back your money the best that you can do is to create a scam accusation in the scam board of this forum, you can help people by spreading that this is a scam escrow.

Escrow service itself is supposed to be guaranteed, so if you suspect 1% that escrow is scam, do not use it.

Where did you get that site? The possibility of recovering it depends on knowing the scammer, and it can be known either by tracking the blockchain (the hardest option) or by knowing the scammer (either about the person who sent you the link or searching for the identity of the owner)

I've only heard about btc-asia just now, but are you even sure you used the correct website? Or did you just type-in btc-asia on Google then clicked on the first result?

There is a possibility, try to contact: @ninjaboon (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=64005), via PM and ask for the phone number, if your, live in Malaysia or Singapore.

Update 29 May 2022 approximately 8 months @ninjaboon has done something about btc-asia.com.

I have filed a report with the Malaysia Royal Police (27 May 2022) on the misuse and fraud by the new owners of btc-asia.com

29 May 2022.

According to https://who.is/whois/btc-asia.com, the new owners of btc-asia.com are
located at the City of Reykjavik

Try to visit the Royal Malaysian Police office and ask about cases reported by @ninjaboon regarding fraud cases by btc-asia.com, maybe there are clues for you, at least.

But before you contact @ninjaboon first for clarity, who knows he can help you in your case.
