This topic is the successor of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5372707.0 , original OP isn't active anymore sadly.

About us:
Pandanite (PDN) a new Proof of Work (POW) cryptocurrency, using ED25519 signing keys. Fast transactions, minimal and elegant code.
It is written from the ground up in C++. We want the Pandanite source code to be simple, elegant, and easy to understand. Rather than adding duct-tape to an existing currency, we built Pandanite from scratch with lots of love.

Mining payments occur using the *thwothirding* algorithm, which yields a total final circulation of ~100M PDN:
- 50 PDN per block until block 666666
- 50\*(2/3) PDN per block from blocks 666667 to 2\*666666
- 50\*(2/3)^2 PDN per block from blocks 2\*66666+1 to 3\*666666
etc.

Notice: Please update your Pandanite Nodes to latest version. Short announcement but is important, so "twothirding" can take effect after block 666666.

You have to do it prior block 666666 , it is mandatory.

A post already exist in this section.
Why don't you mention the fact that the main developer left the ship?

What about the funds hacked because of the buffer overflow flaw ? (More than 5 million coins anyway).

Thank you.

That was a long time ago and people were compensated on Exbitron from main devs pockets as far as I remember.

Chain was fixed and a rollback was made (those 5 million coins don't exist anymore) , but that was more than 6 months ago.

OP isn't active anymore so we cant update that thread and we have a new name now. He had IRL issues so he stepped down, cant tell more - he has the right of privacy.

There aren't any 5 million coins, just as Lind said that issue was patched and fixed back in Summer of 2022.

On topic: we are working on to speed up the node sync - it looks great we just need some testing.  :)

NODE OPERATORS - IMPORTANT

📣 Notice: Please update your Pandanite Nodes to latest version

0.7.8-alpha

- faster synch
- less hassle to re-synch
- important for future stability and features

If you gave up because your node got stuck/crashed you can retry now with newest version.
Any version before 0.7.8-alpha has the slow synch speed issue! So update please!
We see some 0.6.7 and such versions in the node list, those are outdated.

Thanks!

Second explorer development is in advanced stages and "twothirding" is a few months away. Join the race to get more PDN before the reward will decrease.
Only a total supply of 100 million PDN will exist!

Available Miners: GPU/CPU while PDN is ASIC resistant.

Hello!

BOUNTY: We ask for a short, informative YouTube video.
Your work will be used as an introductory video to Pandanite and hopefully will help us gain more attention. We are keen to see what you come up with. 🐼

We would like it to be: - informative - what is PDN? - how to mine - where to buy - English language Best submission will be rewarded with: 6000 PDNs 📷
+ if its a very good quality and we like it very much, then we can add some extra to reward creativity.

Note: Winner must acknowledge Pandanite Community has the rights to use his/her work. Maybe we will add it to our own YT channel too.

Your entries will be reviewed in bounty-submissions by the Core Team and users on Discord. We will post the winner in payout-for-bounty and it will be a normal transfer as bot is still down.

See ya!
