Title: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Crypt0Gore on December 16, 2022, 07:13:31 AM I am sorry if this hurts XRP fans and Armies on here
I think XRP will be useless in future because there won't be any need for it's existence, it won't be needed as a bridge to converting crypto coins or currencies once Fiat moves to CBDC finally. Think about it and if you think that I am wrong do drop your reason why. The very threat to CBDC is XRP for me, not BTC. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: mk4 on December 16, 2022, 07:45:15 AM XRP has always been next to useless, with it's only use in the past is for quick and cheap transfers between exchanges. Today, bitcoin transactions are cheap enough, and cheap stablecoins transfers(through Tron, Solana, etc) already exists. XRP is totally irrelevant now.
Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Wiwo on December 16, 2022, 12:06:21 PM Apart for if relatively low fees and fast transaction and less congestion in the XRP network, I don't think XRP have any other utility value to push its price up. One of the reasons why XRP is becoming irrelevant and less valuable is because of the fact that other networks in the layer2 category have made Bitcoin transactions scalable with low fees and less Bitcoin network congestion so has had no future just like thousands of altcoins it's its class.
Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: AakZaki on December 16, 2022, 05:36:49 PM Some of the past altcoins were also shaky and uncertain, especially after the bitcoin crash, many past altcoins dropped dramatically and even new altcoins disappeared and could not compete with others. XRP is just one of the few successful past coins. His twin brother also experienced the same thing, namely XLM, there has been no drastic increase so far.
Currently XRP, XLM or other altcoins are only used for speculative purposes not for real use, the use of XRP as a bridge to convert coins to Fiat is no longer popular, there are other coins or other networks that are much cheaper. Yeah, I do agree that some coin that has been hype around 2017 has lost the spot on the top as they have been replaced by new ones. XRP was touted to be the next big thing for cross border payments not just for gambling. And there are many 3rd party remittance who partner with them way back 2018 but so far I haven't heard any now. Probably it's because bitcoin transaction has become so cheap right now that probably affected the market of XRP and they've lost some ground. It could stay in the market though, but not sure if they will get the support and the consensus like before. It was created on the year 2012 to be exact while Dogecoin was created on the year 2013. CBDC might work like an XRP but I can't tell for now if it's better than XRP. Let us only see once CBDC became more established because they are still a new thing for now and they aren't supported yet by many platforms. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Tytanowy Janusz on December 17, 2022, 11:55:46 AM I think that's because XRP had a great/big community, same with Dogecoin and Dogecoin was also being bullied for being a meme coin, yet it was still standing strong. Only those who think or talk negatively about XRP are maybe just a hater of it and they are only spreading a FUD. XRP isn't the same as the 2017 mania coins but again like Dogecoin, XRP is much older than them. The difference is that dogecoin was made as meme but appeared to be something bigger while XRP was made to be something big but it looks like it will end up as a meme. XRP has no advantage over competitors. XRP did not achive anything in last 3 years. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: bittraffic on December 17, 2022, 12:23:48 PM Many users use XRP to withdraw from exchanges and cash out to fiat for its minimum withdrawal fee and transaction fee. Even with just this use case to token still is on top of the market making its cap and daily volume to be bigger than the reputable tokens we know. XRP hasn't died despite its attack before 2017. Before 2017, its price was way below $0.05. With this kind of profit, Ripple can actually pay big time if it's just what SEC wants. Unfortunately, SEC wants more than that and the rest of the altcoins will have an uncertain future also once XRP fails. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: fuguebtc on December 17, 2022, 01:41:00 PM Altcoins are created mainly just for the hype to attract investors to join, it's like gambling, and after you make a profit it becomes useless.
One bad thing about XRP so far is its lawsuit with the SEC has not come to an end, despite much earlier leaked evidence showing the advantage in XRP's favor, things could still be turned upside down. I don't know if XRP still has potential, but with what's happening, don't risk it just for a bit of profit. It is a centralized corporate coin which deceiving naive investors through pump and dump still we cannot do anything about that as it is a long running shit and just part of this altcoin space. The very threat to CBDC is XRP for me, not BTC. As of now, I could not get your point still I would stay CBDC never be a threat to bitcoin in any means but CDBS is here to spread awareness about bitcoin to rest of world slowly :P.Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: o48o on December 17, 2022, 05:51:37 PM I have seen lots of topics here on XRP in the time period of over 5 to 6 years but never come across anything negative to XRP. XRP army, i rememer it. I think in the past it was stronger because there weren't that many camps in altcoins. And i have to admit, price was working well for the early investors. I didn't buy it because even back in early days i didn't see any more point to it then i see now. These days i am including idiots into my calculations when i am considering if something is worth buying. Because for a profit maximalist it doesn't matter when we talk about the short time gains that what tech will get used in the end. They don't care how centralized or worthless the tech is.Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: goaldigger on December 17, 2022, 09:41:08 PM They offer a great blockchain system to many banks and they are partnered with many already but because of their on-going issues with SEC, they are limited. There are some who are hoping for XRP to finally settle their issues with SEC and continue buying it, there’s a big risk on this but we cannot tell them to stop it because they have their own analysis and they are confident about XRP winning here in the market.
Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: crzy on December 17, 2022, 09:51:00 PM SEC destroyed the reputation of XRP and yes, they are slowly dying but there’s still a chance for them to rise especially if SEC will finally issue their resolution about this case. XRP should continue to improve though if they really want to stay in the competition and stay on top, many investors are still supporting XRP and that’s why they are still rising.
Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Captain Corporate on December 17, 2022, 10:26:33 PM XRP never had a future, it never had any past neither. This was some guys building a company using blockchain to market their product to banks and companies to move money around, and using you for the power of it. Their blockchain that they use for banks and such weren't even the blockchain that XRP has, it was something else, they just moved it behind without being public. Its clear that all they cared about was using the XRP owners and their transactions for their gain and this has been going on for waaaay too long. Thankfully its dropping in rank for a while now, couldn't even break over their 2018 ATH during the 2020-2021 bull period and I hope they go to zero eventually.
Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: KennyR on December 17, 2022, 11:11:35 PM XRP in the past is much preferred as a transaction support and had partnered with different financial firms to make its presence strong. For some reason it is also mentioned as the centralised system that is being manipulated by the team based on requirement. When the usage isn't needed anymore it turns to be useless.
For now amidst its usage the issue with SEC is the reason for its downturn. Maybe a positive solution on the same could keep its market high against the leading cryptocurrencies available on the market. With everything slowly becoming centralized, XRP still managed to be on top after making good partnership with other financial institution and I think this is the current strength of XRP and that’s why it survived the drop. I see no hate with XRP after all, it is still a good coin compare to other tokens that are pretty useless. XRP might continue to grow though, good luck to those who are still trusting XRP.For now amidst its usage the issue with SEC is the reason for its downturn. I don't think that they are different from other coins, it just follow the same path as others, if we are in a bear market, then the price will go down. Looks solid way back 2017 same as with the coins that making it's run back in the days. But XRP has lost some of it's community if I'm not mistaken. Although it did partnered with some banks, still though it didn't enjoy the consensus like before when they have a whole army to back them up. Times has change and XRP are one coins that have been affected by the evolution of crypto. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Strongkored on December 18, 2022, 01:20:07 PM This has become something that many crypto lovers know, which is why at the moment XRP is only used as a coin to make a profit because of its up and down price movements but more than that XRP has no future, the only advantage is that this coin is still listed on many major exchanges so it looks like this coin has a future but actually it doesn't.

But it's still the same, it's still useless at.Another thing is as you can see, Ripple is stating to lose it's position on being top highest market, before Ripple (XRP) is only sitting above on top 5 highest market cap, but now it seems already started to fall. For some reason we can believe on it and invest, because they never lets down the market of XRP. The network being used on different real-time needs make it better even though it is centralized and under controversy for a long.Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Minecache on February 05, 2023, 11:47:29 PM The very threat to CBDC is XRP for me, not BTC. Especially when XRP is a centralized coin that has no real use cases in the mainstream world. Once CBDCs are launched (especially the US Digital Dollar), you can say goodbye to XRP for good. I don't get why there are so many people supporting XRP, when it goes against what crypto/Blockchain tech established in the first place. Using XRP is like using a traditional bank in the Fiat world. It's simply not worth it. I'd say XLM is a better alternative because it's backed by the community. The cryptocurrency has the same design as XRP, except that it's focused on decentralization (sort of) more than anything else. People are free to choose which coin to invest into, so the market will ultimately decide how much XRP will be worth in the long run. As long as you don't put all of your eggs in a single basket, you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my opinion :) Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: bitterguy28 on February 13, 2023, 03:05:43 AM I am sorry if this hurts XRP fans and Armies on here I am in losing trust for this project that I tried holding for a year , now that there is a lose hope? Ethereum meets 2 requirements for you: safe like bitcoin, if safe bitcoin is 10, then ethereum is 8, and better returns than bitcoin. It was always obvious that money is something you can't just create out of nothing and be a company about it, bitcoin is fine because nobody profits from bitcoin being used, XRP however profits Ripple as much as it could profit them and that is the difference, it is based on a company and that will never be ok for any government in the entire world. As I said above, and you can check the history, in recent years, ETH has always given a much higher ROI than bitcoin, and if you also have faith in ETH it is also a good choice along with bitcoin. Nowadays, newbies like to invest in altcoins for the same reason, they like high returns and bitcoin no longer fulfills that requirement. But other altcoins are extremely risky, and only ETH is a safer choice, but the returns are not bad either. Bitcoin fanatics have always considered ETH to be shitcoin, but looking at what it has done and achieved, those who invested in ETH early were just as successful as those who invested in bitcoin early. I think Ripple started fine but only face an issue after so many years but they are lucky that their company is still there surviving and still have the chance to continue to operate legally once they win the case that is issued about them. It was the people who invest in Ripple are the ones who are playing with fire right now because some things could go wrong with Ripple later on. If Ripple really wants XRP to have a future, then it should stay away from it by leaving the "Ledger" in the hands of the community. The first step would be to sell all of its XRP holdings to remove any ties to the cryptocurrency itself. After that, XRP would be fairly distributed among participants. The XRP Ledger would also need more validators run by community members to help become decentralized and censorship-resistant. Maybe introducing some sort of incentivization mechanism to XRP validators will do the trick? Unless Ripple removes any involvement with the XRP Ledger, I don't see it having a future anytime soon. I'd suggest people to consider Stellar (XLM) which has the same design as XRP, but with decentralization in mind. Ultimately the market will decide which coin stays afloat and which one will fade into oblivion. As long as there's healthy competition in the crypto/Blockchain space, nothing else matters. Just my thoughts ;D Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: maydna on February 23, 2023, 03:18:02 PM I am sorry if this hurts XRP fans and Armies on here You should not say sorry because you are saving them from a future losses , maybe they try to deny this fact for now but eventually they will realized this reality and will eventually act like a loser.I think XRP will be useless in future because there won't be any need for it's existence, it won't be needed as a bridge to converting crypto coins or currencies once Fiat moves to CBDC finally. I am not saying that you should be avoiding it at all costs, but why spend it on XRP when you can buy something better? It's still one of the favorites of banks after all and I think huge investors on XRP are huge institutions too. XRP is banks' favorite "cryptocurrency" because of its centralized design. You can bet that wouldn't had been the case if XRP was as decentralized as its proponents claim it to be. Why do we want another centralized financial system empowered by banks? Wasn't Bitcoin created as a protest against banks' malpractices in handling the global economy? People seem to be missing the bigger picture here. It's not about making money, but rather removing power from banks and giving it back to the people. But centralized coins like XRP and government-backed digital currencies (CBDCs) lead us one step backwards in achieving said dream. I honestly don't think XRP will survive for long, especially when Ripple (the company) has its hands tied with the regulators. It could collapse if Ripple sells all of its XRP holdings, or they abandon the Ledger completely. The market will ultimately decide XRP's fate. As long you don't go crazy investing into this coin without doing your own research, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts ;D Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: peter0425 on March 02, 2023, 03:31:13 AM This has become something that many crypto lovers know, which is why at the moment XRP is only used as a coin to make a profit because of its up and down price movements but more than that XRP has no future, the only advantage is that this coin is still listed on many major exchanges so it looks like this coin has a future but actually it doesn't. actually there are only few big exchange that listed XRP such as Binance and some but majority of big exchange had delisted this year ago and that alarms other investors so they leave this coin.and at some chance you are correct that it looks like this coin has no future same is the reason why I sell all my Ripple last year and now hold a different coin that has no big problem like this one. This issue has been running for a long time since Ripple has been facing different charges but the good thing is, it's still being trusted by many investors and it's still actively moving and reaching a good spot despite the challenges that it has been facing. For me, as long as it's being listed on a top exchange, it is still worth buying and holding. It can still be profitable, especially during the bullish season. Ripple is one of the most promising coin when I entered crypto market but nowadays? I am starting to fear that chances. I sell all my coins and never buy ripple again till now, or I mean never Hold again but I am buying sometimes because I need to use as payment in some transactions . for them it is still hopeful but for me? it is Hopeless . We can't be hesitant about their issue as it was best to invest in a project that has no problem with the SEC and we can be sure that we are safe. I think if they think that XRP could be third or second, they are have absolutely no idea how the market works and they shouldn't be investing at all. I know that it is not going to be a simple thing to invest easily without a care in the world but that doesn't mean that we should also be ignorant about the market enough to think this would be a fine thing.Ripple is one of the most promising coin when I entered crypto market but nowadays? I am starting to fear that chances. I mean obviously don't consider the situation like XRP will be zero soon, I am not saying that it will be going down and crashing like crazy, all I am saying is that it is not going to be going up like that ever again, that was once upon a time, and now it's different and won't ever be the same again. XRP has been known to the market and the trust of the people has been affected because of the said case with the SEC and it creates doubts among the investor about putting money into this project. A reason why it is hard for its price to rise if the situation remains. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: JayTrain on March 04, 2023, 04:41:57 PM XRP faces significant regulatory challenges and its future is uncertain. While it does have some unique features, investing in XRP at this time carries significant risks. It's important to do your own research and carefully evaluate the potential risks and rewards before making any investment decisions.

That is a must quality to have when investing because if you don't have a hope in the asset that you hold, there is no way for you to hodl it in a longer time and you won't have the chance to earn a big profits in case the asset that you hold are pumping crazily. History repeats itself as they say, so why not? This wasn't only limited to xrp but also to those coins where the public has a biggest doubt.Ripple is one of the most promising coin when I entered crypto market but nowadays? I am starting to fear that chances. Coins like doge coin and shiba inu for instance. The case of ripple is not finished yet and there is still a chance that they can win it. For doge and shib, there are rumors that their father Elon is likely to be picking them up again anytime soon. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Ludmilla_rose1995 on March 05, 2023, 04:30:41 PM I am sorry if this hurts XRP fans and Armies on here XRP does not have a good future, in fact its use tends to decrease day by day, because there are many competitors from XRP that can provide cheap fees to their users. even bitcoin only charges less than $ 1 fee on every transaction that is created so that XRP hopes to have a high value in the future is small.I think XRP will be useless in future because there won't be any need for it's existence, it won't be needed as a bridge to converting crypto coins or currencies once Fiat moves to CBDC finally. Think about it and if you think that I am wrong do drop your reason why. The very threat to CBDC is XRP for me, not BTC. Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: Digital_Lord on March 05, 2023, 04:48:57 PM The future prediction of XRP are unable to do even no coin has a future surety that it will persist successful or not but expert Says that XRP is worthy token but its depends on user's thoughts that for how many years you hold it because long term investment will be more advantageous. As we see that XRP price will go up so now its important to make investment in XRP because in bullish period It will go more up and will be benefited its holders.
Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: btc78 on March 08, 2023, 07:31:30 AM There is lot of old coin gonna be useless if they dont evolve to handle current trend and tech, most likely they wont, changing protocol need to rewrite from beginning so these coin gonna be forgotten and pumper likely they will create new coin But XRP has different problem as this is being sued and up to now facing cases from SEC in which makes investors leave and find other currency to invest for.protocol is easy to change after the case wins but what if not? what if this continue to run for another 10 years? xrp will die without even changing. we won't know in the future about xrp, and if there are unwanted events we don't be surprised because investing in crypto is very risky, and maybe this is also one of those people who don't support crypto but this is different from what xrp supporters think so better to let them do what they wanted and let us be safe for not spending time and money here.because it is full of risks, and i think if xrp goes down, people will probably start to leave crypto. XRP reaching second or third position in market cap? That's insane! I don't think it will ever happen, especially when there are a lot of coins in circulation. Ripple (the company) holds most of the supply, so we should expect a huge dump in price sometime in the future. Besides, XRP is centralized unlike most of the other cryptocurrencies trading on the market today. It's a "banker's coin" if you ask me. It won't have a future as long as it remains controlled by the hands of a few. There are many XRP fanboys out there, thinking it will "explode" in price just because of the partnerships Ripple has been doing with banks (aside from the fact that TX fees are extremely cheap and speeds are blazing-fast). But there's more to crypto "than meets the eye". Only coins with a decentralized and censorship-resistant design will last a lifetime. Who knows how long will XRP last? Just my thoughts ;D Title: Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain Post by: dragonvslinux on March 08, 2023, 04:23:40 PM Personally I've considered XRP useless since 2018 and therefore never invested nor traded in this asset, partly due to the reasons mentioned in OP, but otherwise due to the selling pressure from Jed McCaleb. However I just realised that Jed has finished his 8-year long dumping spree (https://cointelegraph.com/news/jed-mccaleb-empties-xrp-wallet-after-eight-year-selloff) that has suppressed price for so long as represented 18.6% of the supply, but I fail to see why there are so many investors bullish about this shitcoin.
XRP also has been in a downtrend since 2018 against Bitcoin and more or less only moved sideways for the past 2 years. |
