Title: Got tired of Bitcoin
Post by: wobber on March 28, 2014, 09:54:57 AM
So, we get a another rumor and price gets down again because some idiots still think bitcoin is stock and act like it.

This only shows how fragile we are, and we are fragile because dumb idiots are part of the community. It's their fault that bitcoin is overspeculated, used only in get-rich-quick schemes and with almost no other uses.

We also got the Gox event, which I really hope learned people that they're doing it wrong. Stop fucking use centralized exchanges. I get the feeling that bitcoin is a freaking giant joint, everyone wants to puff some if it but nobody wants to go out and buy it from the dealer. Same here, everyone mines it, speculates it (buy low sell high) but nobody does any good to this economy.

If we weren't so greedy, I believe today we'd had more purchasing power and more services/goods to trade. Instead, we have these retarted events and prices.

What is this shit anyway?

Meh, anyone getting into bitcoin that does not anticipate that price can flail around +- 50 to 100% easily short to mid term is doing something wrong.

It is painful but we need these growing pains. Each time we capitulate and then recover trust will increase in the long term

I need to check witch one though ... also a have another copy in the safe... but the in the end of the day I dont' give a shit for day trading after all, ask yourself, how much of bitcoins are in exchanges of the total of bitcoins ?? do u think that small percentage can dictate the prices ??? I suggest everybody pull out their coins from exchanges then, fuck then before they fuck us.... But if you really like speculation there are tons of altcoins to play with About bitcoin I have spend more time reading papers about technical, and the more I read more I beleive there is a huge potencial .. so be nice to yourself ... be a hodler and be happy ;)

What people need to realize, is even though the price has been falling, the ecosystem and infrastructure have been getting bigger. We have been building a base for the rocket this whole time, while giving us better and better chances to get on and strap in.  The price falls, but the community gets bigger.  DONT BE AN IDIOT, BUY SOME AND ENJOY THE RIDE.

Even if the protocol gets hacked tomorrow, can you really regret trying to be part of something you believed in? THIS IS THE SHIT YOU TELL YOUR GRAND KIDS ABOUT WIN OR LOSE!!!

This is a chance to be part of something bigger than we are. Something that can change society and the future forever.  How can you simply be bored?!

So you call people greedy then get mad because you don't have more purchasing power?  Enjoy bitcoin being bitcoin, regardless of the price.

indeed, I think other people would brought bitcoin to 1,2k if it wasnt for china simply because it was undervalued at the time

same way I think we will see a $5k peak this summer-autumn because the infrastructure and adoption just keeps going at a rapid speed
