We have just released free extension for Chrome browser, which allows instantly converting of 300+ cryptocurrencies into each other or into fiat money i.e. USD, Euro etc and vise versa. Important cryptocurrencies can be saved to Pinned Rates for quick access and monitoring.

p.s. Answering possible security issues question, which came up also on reddit: Extension does not require you to provide any information like login, username, password or to grant access to any vital data or anything related. It just fetches Cryptonator.com API and calculates actual exchange rates, that simple.

no worries, mate. I can see your point, and this is why I put that security announcement in my original post.


so I can assure you all, this one is absolutely harmless. As I said above, it only fetches cryptonator's API for calculation, no access to any personal data, no permissions except to access API on cryptonator.com. Once we open API to public, anyone could basically use it for such extensions,different apps, widgets or whatever

GBP (Great British Pounds sterling) is on the list. Now you can calculate any cryptocurrency in GBP

we have just updated Cryptonator extension for Chrome browser (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cryptocurrency-calculator/gffnngoochofmgpkbchpdbdjoijaohog) to the next version which includes 6 pinned rates on the main page and detailed rates across all exchanges. If you already have our extension installed, just wait a bit and chrome will update it automatically, or do it manually via settings/extension/developer mode

We switched to secure https protocol, which caused some issues with previous versions of cryptonator extension. Updated version is already in the Chrome Web Store, but it takes some time for Google to automatically update it in your browser. You can manually update via Settings/Extensions/Developer Mode and then Update extensions now
