1] Move this to Currency Exchange Board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0)
2] How much is the amount you are willing to sell? If its not too large enough you should also try out binance p2p or other reputable p2p platforms.

Localbitcoin is the perfect website to do a person to person transaction because some seller there is offering a meetup transaction. Most of the traders that doing this meetup is using localbitcoin and not Bitcointalk forum since most user preferred there privacy.

I use localbitcoin before when I have trouble converting my Bitcoin to fiat during the time when P2P is not available on exchange. I’m not updated on what’s the requirements of Localbitcoin anymore but that’s the place you can highly found a perfect partner on deal like this instead of the forum because it specializes in local P2P transactions.

Afaik they no longer list in-person trades and now requires mandatory KYC.

But op could try their luck on other p2p websites such as: agoradesk, hodlhodl, localcryptos
-no mandatory kyc for using them
-it's currently impossible to create a new account in localcryptos but anyone will still be able to see the current in-person trade offers. And if they go to a user profile, other means of communication are typically listed.

I hope who ever wants to deal in the manner that op is requesting should ask for escrow so that he can be sure of a fair deal and delivery. A fair deal is not only that you receive your coins but that it is completed and on the other way that the seller gets a good deal and fiat too or whatever medium of financial transfer.

If no buyer, check Potato Chips post. You can also try https://bisq.network/ which is more decentralized.

OP wants privacy, or he can just use a centralized exchange for it if he do not need privacy.

I am still surprised that some people still think they can sell on (or let me use through) Localbitcoins without KYC, that is not possible again since 3 or 4 years ago.  In anything you do on Localbitcoins now, it requires KYC.

If you're being privacy conscious, then meeting up with someone in real life doesn't seem like the best or safest option for me.

• Use a decentralized P2P platform like bisq,
• Mix the coins before sending starting the exchange,
• Select a privacy inclined payment option.

This ensures your privacy and doesn't expose you to the risk of meeting a total stranger, who is aware you own a highly valuable asset and could have much more than you're trading at that time.

Yeah I used to use p2p years ago because in Canada the exchanges were limited and Bitcoin atm had >10% fees and you could only buy and not sell. So I had to use p2p and even though it was for small amount it was stretchy half the time.

I did my best meeting in public or at a bank or police station however the other individual I got a bad feeling with. It was maybe like this 25% of the time. The rest were good transactions. However i would rather just KYC and pay 2% on an exchange than go thru that again.

What's the point of avoid a trace from exchange, but you're expose your face, appearance, voice, location etc to a complete stranger? not to mention he could ask his friend to watch you and find your home. I would rather to use centralized exchange than direct P2P, it's really dangerous, but since there's a decentralized exchange, I don't need to use centralized exchange.

He was explaining about his past experience, although it's better to not recommend anyone if he doesn't know any update or not use it for long time.

There is no option among them all that a trace can be avoided, even on a decentralized exchanges, if you want to sell bitcoin, the buyer will pay into fiat or fiat related account which are completely traceable. But meeting face to face is not what I can recommend. Centralized exchanges are not recommended for privacy reasons because the centralized exchange and the government know everything about you and the exchange can be hacked and your personal information can be known by hackers which can be sold, they are the worst of all. I prefer decentralized exchanges because they are the one that still preserve privacy the most.
