Title: Don't be fool!
Post by: Cyber_Alien on January 08, 2023, 02:44:44 PM
Hello there, dear community.
I'm sure some of you guys have been fooled by your friends and possibly all of this nonsense journalism.

Some people believe Bitcoin is dead, and others believe the process is slow. Let me tell you, those forks have duped you.

I'm not saying this to inspire you or anything. The point of writing this is to inform all of you fiat bros and sissies that Bitcoin is the hope.

Let me explain why you should stop being skeptical of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not centralized (it does not have a central authority).

"I knew the majority of your friends would have called it a Ponzi scheme!" They'd say that's why I don't invest in it. Look at it, everything is going to zero. Many Bitcoin supporters hold opposing views on the currency. Some people invest in it, most likely because they hear good things about bitcoin. I'd like to tell you that Bitcoin is the antidote to money corruption. Perhaps because it is something completely new and amazing, but people fail to recognize it as a means of eradicating corruption in our society. There is no cause for alarm, most likely because they have no knowledge of how the network was implemented. They are easily misled. So let me tell you the most amazing thing about Bitcoin. You can travel anywhere in the world with just 12 words stored in your brain. We have money that is visible to everyone on the planet. Everyone can keep track of any transaction, very secure and does not involve a third party. Bitcoin held by someone else is not yours. So, no manipulation or corruption.

That is why you must trust the system and refrain from being fooled by friends.

Some people believe Bitcoin is dead,
And here's a link to "Bitcoin Obituaries (https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/)" that shows it has died 469 times so far :D

You can travel anywhere in the world with just 12 words stored in your brain.
You have a point, but I prefer not to give that kind of idea to beginners [I wouldn't put that kind of faith in something that could experience a temporary or permanent loss of memory due to various reasons]!
- A "metal seed storage (https://jlopp.github.io/metal-bitcoin-storage-reviews/)" device would be significantly better than storing those phrases in our brains.

Most normies don’t rate bitcoin & will tell you not to invest in it. Most normies are also wage slaves & will spend their entire lives working in a miserable 9-5 job, paying ridiculous rates on a mortgage until they’re in their 60’s & able to retire.

I prefer to ignore these people & invest in cryptocurrencies, specifically bitcoin.

I prefer to ignore these people & invest in cryptocurrencies, specifically bitcoin.

Ignoring them is the better part and turning daff eyes is the best part. We are going to keep hearing pessimistics criticising  bitcoin and discouraging some small minds from investing and taking the opportunity that bitcoin is for. Apart from the possibility of investment, bitcoin is the freedom for human existence.

Because supposedly, Bitcoin isn't created to store value, it was created with the sole purpose to become a peer-to-peer payment transaction which is in short, an alternative to cash.  Those who didn't understand how Bitcoin will work might the ones who will discriminate against Bitcoin.  They dont want transparent transactions because they're always afraid of it, that's how sometimes we think there's corruption that happens.

Educating yourself in the entire cryptosystem will enlighten your mind about Bitcoin, this is your greatest weapon not to believe those who are discriminating against Bitcoin.  Ignoring them isn't right, what if they have a chance to take your advice very seriously on how to use the Bitcoin network?

You're really exaggerating and that could be of the worst help to a rookie -- more or less -- leading to the worst happenings and earning you some faulty trust ASAP... There's hope for the future of Bitcoin but we'd still have to allow the time for everyone to face its fate -- everyone that's IN already -- not some new, blindfolded folks, that gets desperate based on your already exaggerated theories.
Bitcoin has fallen several times; in it's cryptographical analysis, it's called the DIP --a time where we'd have alot of peeps buying them to HODL.
Things to note: always TRYYY to let anyone know the intricacies in it; most especially when they're ready to invest 'em funds. I know how frustrating it is to be a victim of some intermittent loss that was literally unprepared for.

bitcoin pronounce dead hundred times, in fact even other founder of coins throw stones to bitcoin but what happen is they are turn out to be the dead one, running with the money and are labeled scam and dead, since i started, in 2016 i always heard this even when the price dip to 15k usd, this will not stop, why? because in this way some gain profit by putting fear on those small investors losing money in the process so if you are newbies you might fall in this kind of strategies by bigger players.

I am not sure what people thought when they announced Bitcoin is dead.

Did they become Bitcoin investors after their "Bitcoin is dead" announcements?

That one has a better "Bitcoin is dead" chart (https://buybitcoinworldwide.com/bitcoin-is-dead/)

I think that is too much praise. Its not that we dont believe in bitcoin but being overconfident to something that has volatile is still need precautions. Yes bitcoin is decentralized so being low or high is on its nature. We cant boosted it on some normies out there that its super legit. Why not explain how bitcoin works and let them do the grasping and let them decide whether its worth the penny or not.

Some people believe Bitcoin is dead, and others believe the process is slow. Let me tell you, those forks have duped you.
No one is dupping anyone, we are all entitles to our opinions. It's now left to you on what you believe, and the truth is that Bitcoin is not dead. When one is not a fool, how could anyone say to you that Bitcoin which is active in payments and investments is dead? It's all about you believing that white is truly white if anyone calls it black to you.

Bitcoin is not centralized (it does not have a central authority).

I hope Bitcoin lovers would truly enjoy the decentralized Bitcoin because some custodial companies are making it less of that these days. The custodial wallets and centralized exchanges are becoming a problem for Bitcoin in my opinion, and I hope everyone using the coin would seek knowledge to know how to use it to truly preserve its decentralized property and purpose.

"I knew the majority of your friends would have called it a Ponzi scheme!"
Also, if your friends call Bitcoin Ponzi, don't you know the meaning of Ponzi? Does Bitcoin look like that to you? This is baseless, so disregard them.

I'm sure some of you guys have been fooled by your friends and possibly all of this nonsense journalism.

This is only applicable to a brand newbie, they can fool them because they were already empty, but if a newbie determines to seek for knowledge then he will find, most times we fall i to hands because of our lack of information which is what we called knowledge about a particular thing, they take it as our weak point and use it against us being a newbie, that's why becau doing anything, seek for knowledge at first, for some of us that were already experienced in this there's no amount of ranting they may yarn we can never fall their hands since we know many of their tactical steps they take.

Some people believe Bitcoin is dead, and others believe the process is slow. Let me tell you, those forks have duped you.

This is often said when the bitcoin price goes dip and they change people's mind to convince them on investing on other altcoins which is more worst, they also try to convince them on fast and great reward with investment and even introduce some altcoins platforms for them and make it all appears real, let me be frank here in saying that bitcoin is profitable but not on a rushing level.

Don't believe what your friends say that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme if they don't know anything about btc, this technology and finance in general. You need to listen to the advice of experts. As often happens, among friends, few people are well aware of btc. More often than not, many of them have heard of btc and see it as just a speculative tool.

It is better to write down 24 words, not 12. For reliability. It's not recommended to keep this in mind, but your idea that you can travel the world with btc and be financially independent sounds great. This adds a very painful element of freedom, both movement and action.

Well, I would not say that the availability of a database of all transactions is a good thing, but bitcoin's system is built that way and nothing can be changed from a technical point of view. But even here, if desired, options are possible. For example, mixers.

Some people believe Bitcoin is dead, and others believe the process is slow. Let me tell you, those forks have duped you.

One thing about bitcoin it its ability to resurrect. If it is to die, bitcoin has died countless times. Infact it dies almost every year but the death of 2017 was a higher death. But after the death bitcoin also resurrects. I don't know if it is nice to say that bitcoin is immortal.

"I knew the majority of your friends would have called it a Ponzi scheme!" They'd say that's why I don't invest in it. Look at it, everything is going to zero.

Apart from being an advance ponzi scheme they also said it is a bubble. This misinformation is not only carried by the ignorants but also by the people you can consider learned in the society.

So let me tell you the most amazing thing about Bitcoin. You can travel anywhere in the world with just 12 words stored in your brain.

Isn't this approach so risky?
Memories fail, they weaken and they forget. There's no need having 12 phrases on in in your memory, unless for a backup purpose. You can follow what SFR10 recommended above.

I think this your advises mainly refers to the beginners because i don't think any reputable member here could still see bitcoin as a failure or possibly calling it Ponzi scheme no, because from my end and basic understanding at this level could anyone convinced me again pertaining anything that relates to bitcoin anymore. We that are active members of this forum knows the usefulness of bitcoin and would never joke with it, all less those that has less information and little knowledge that could overlook bitcoin. That why is very essential and important for every one of us here to keep educating people around for them to also have good knowledged just as you and I did.

Bitcoin is not centralized (it does not have a central authority).
That doesn't work as an argument, alone. It's a feature, but it is only taken as a benefit by those who support stateless money. There are people who oppose free enterprise money, and I gotta tell you, they are lots in number.

That is why you must trust the system and refrain from being fooled by friends.
You don't have to trust the system. You can read the news, listen to opinions, and form your own conclusion about how world works.

Those who view  bitcoin as ponzi schemes are few now.
It's still pretty high.

The e current issue is skeptism
The issue isn't skepticism — because skepticism in general is very good. The problem is people being skeptics while making conclusions based off little to no research at all.

Bitcoin is not an antidote to money corruption, in this area it failed, in the past many embezzled money with Bitcoin and some use Bitcoin to purchase evil items on dark web but the truth is their purchases are traceable unless there is no reason to investigate.

There are many things happening and Bitcoin is not to be blamed, bad people will always be bad people, even if a new innovative idea is born today people will use it to do evil things.

Bitcoin is fully decentralized and doing so it gives power back to the people, we don't want the government or centralised power to always triumph over us and Bitcoin is the only solution because the centralized power can't control it.

One who believe in Bitcoin will never listen to anyone because he knows well that bitcoin will never disappoint him if he trust and hold it tightly.

By the way you will listen daily thay Bitcoin now dead or will never come up and many others but Bitcoin always slap on their faces.

People who tries to rate bitcoin low know nothing about bitcoin,  whenever they do this it is just ignorance coming out from their brains. Wise and reasonable person who can do research would try to make findings to know how bitcoin have been going since existence and will never rate bitcoin low. Bitcoin is the best investment to think of because of it value and reliability.  People who always rate bitcoin low with time gets to understand bitcoin is the best. The reason for all this talks is just ignorance nothing much.

"I knew the majority of your friends would have called it a Ponzi scheme!" They'd say that's why I don't invest in it. Look at it, everything is going to zero.

After I found interest in bitcoin, I don’t listen to my friends anymore on their view or what they feel about a certain innovation. I do my own research myself and do a lot of comparison. If my heart believes it, it’ll definitely convince me to go for it. I did my own research about bitcoin and so I found pleasure and interest in it.

This has been greatly frowned against in the forum as it’ll likely be that you’ll forget or skip some phrases as time passes by. The best way is to have it saved in a safe place out of reach of others or destruction by any natural disaster.

I used to take my friends' advice, but now I put my money where my mouse clicks are. ;)
I do my own research and follow my heart, and that's how I fell in love with Bitcoin. The more I learn about it, the more I realize that Bitcoin is not just a passing trend, but a revolutionary technology. I'll be holding on tight to my BTC, no matter what my friends say.

When it comes to safeguarding valuable information, it pays to play it safe. A physical backup copy tucked away in a secure location is like a safety net for your memory - it'll catch you if you slip up and forget a word or two.

Seeing as Bitcoin cannot be controlled by the authorities, it will be portrayed to the public as a Ponzi scheme in order to discourage people from investing in it. When you can't beat the reach, you must plot against it. Bitcoin has outperformed their expectations of it thriving in this manner. Bad activities have always existed; simply associating bitcoin with all of this distorts its value potential in the world. Despite this, bitcoin continues to dominate.

That's true my friend because you can only take a horse to the stream but you can't force it to drink water if it doesn't, and that applies also to some people in this life because there are some sets of people who believed and have it at the back of there mind that anything online is a scam, even Bitcoin. So to such people, there is nothing you can do, of which the best way will be to just keep mute, and allow them to do their 5 to 9 jobs, while you keep accumulating your Bitcoin portfolio, as Bitcoin has come to stay as the digital currency of the future

It is natural that we see various views about bitcoin. when we look positively towards bitcoin. and we believe in it and we prove the belief in the potential of bitcoin in the future by investing in it. But of course there are many out there who think negatively about bitcoin. they are affected by fud news. And there are also neutral parties. and they are people who don't know much and don't have the desire to find out more about bitcoin. right now we just have to focus on ourselves. and do what we can.

You are right mate,if you have been ever told that Bitcoin is a scam, then definitely, you are lagging behind, they are using you.Nobody will have that time to sit you down and make promises to you that bitcoin is very real, but this forum will help you know about Bitcoin, and people trading Bitcoin are  above you.
At first that was how I doubted Bitcoin, you untill my friends started trading and making profit from the trading, that was when I started picking interest in Bitcoin,as  i speak,I cannot compare my life now,and my life then, alot of things have changed about me,and definitely,so many things will still change about me as the year goes on.

I'm not saying this to inspire you or anything. The point of writing this is to inform all of you fiat bros and sissies that Bitcoin is the hope.

You can travel anywhere in the world with just 12 words stored in your brain. We have money that is visible to everyone on the planet. Everyone can keep track of any transaction, very secure and does not involve a third party. Bitcoin held by someone else is not yours. So, no manipulation or corruption.

A thing but visible line should be made to sound it obvious that there's a place for bitcoin and fiat and both plays a significant role specific to each. Bitcoin creates honesty, neutrality and equality in the network transaction among peers unlike fiat that can be manipulated by a few greed persons to their interest but still bitcoin doesn't serve all purpose yet, it's still in it's experimentation stage in many parts of the world unlike fiat that's conventional. When I first heard about bitcoin I had some reservations towards it not until I took time to do some research and study about it, I tested it gradually and finally adopted it for few usage and transact where possible. So for those that have no idea about it and prefer fiat to bitcoin it's advisable to give them time, eventually they will come to it's reality.

As for storage of private keys in my brains or that of another's I strongly refute the idea, it's not a good way to go, for now the best is just metal storage of keys.
