Title: How long should I wait on a seller to respond?
Post by: 123Dave on January 15, 2023, 02:30:57 AM
I’ve left several messages for a seller for coins I purchased a while ago, many people already received and are flipping there’s and I still have yet to get mine. Any thoughts? I don’t think I’m being scammed just getting frustrated.

I imagine it must be soon maybe you should say the name of the seller with all this that is happening with coldkey it is always good to look at the yellow flags such as the delay in responding to messages

did they provide tracking?

I dont think there should be a question in asking whats up if you have paid and had no response.

No tracking, paid and crypto sent for funding. Paid months ago. Had 2 sellers paid one was quick to respond saying still waiting on a few in the set. When purchased it was clear it would be some time. That was all i wanted, the second, no response after a few messages over the past week.

Hate that you are going thru this...I have experienced this from our latest scammer ColdSCAM.

I have now learned the hard way...best thing to is escrow no matter what....this way you dont have to suffer this bullshit.

Thats what MJ or Mopar are there for...its worth the few Sats for the peace of mind mate

So it is a maker or just a collector you purchased your item(s) from?
If it's actually several months you could try and ask some forum members that are well connected to some makers and many collectors to try and reach the them directly for you (via other channels).

Sucks to be in such a position but hope it'll be rectified soon.

Personally I think depending on the timeline of messages and missing response you can also call them out here. If it's a single mistake - things happen and it will be sorted out.
But if others are having similar issues but until now decided to keep silent it would help ring some bells early on.

It’s a maker- hopefully seeing this post I’ll get feedback soon. This ColdKey thing pissed me off and made me weary. I had some cool pieces- between exchanges crashing, and then that. Just a little hypersensitive. Reached out to smoothie about some lealana pieces he got right back and all is good. Just not the same from another after 3 or 4 messages

awesome news

I run into the reverse situations where buyers say they want things and I get them, set them aside and then they dont answer dms, never pay and yet are still active on forums lol
