Considering what their claim has been operated for 11 years old, but their trading volume is still untracked [1] and only 7 users are leave their reviews about this site in trustpilot, I don't find any discussion about this exchange.

So I'm pretty sure it's just a new scum exchange that pretend to be an old exchange, old exchange surely will appear on the top 20 if they're still operated until now.

11 years of security

And their domain is registered since 1995 (https://whois.domaintools.com/btcc.com).
I have reason to avoid this based on archives of their site (https://web.archive.org/web/20180815000000*/www.btcc.com). Try to check the snapshots for 2018 or older, they are running a different service than they currently are. I don't think they really started 11 years ago.

It's very possible they bought the aged domain, so now they have some history. it doesn't have to be a mandatory sign for anything, good or risky side of the business.
personally, I don't know anything about them, I may have seen their website somewhere, but not enough to have a clear opinion about them.

I wouldn't use them or recommend them, but as far as I can see, something is happening there. They are highly ranked on CoinGecko as "Derivative Exchanges Ranked by Open Interest & Trade Volume". https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/derivatives
Also, the web stats of their website says quite solid traffic sounds based on Taiwan. also, most of the traffic comes from those countries Taiwan, Korea, China, and Japan...

Again, this is not my recommendation for using this exchange, just a short analysis of data from the internet.

Hi, hadn't find here btcc discussion, who's trading here? pls share your opinion
To my knowledge they have a locked thread here: Topic: [ANN] Bitcoin Core [BTCC] | The return to the Core values of Bitcoin.   (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4354609.0), unfortunately some negative feedback emerged.

For example complaints by members below.
The exchange hasnt sent out a official mail to the users but their site isnt opening. On checking their exchange telegram page it shows a screen that they are stopping operations.

Tried contacting support but no response yet. Is there any admin for BTCC exchange here or can someone guide in the right direction?

And also the responses you should see for clarity the representative of the BTCC exchange.

Their representative  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=552507)here hasn't been active since November 2018. Their social media hasn't been active since January either.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=552507

Elsewhere I also saw a new thread about 2022. Topic: BitcoinCopy ($BTCC) ICO - Bitcointalk Announcement (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5418954.0), unfortunately also unclear information.

Instead, you should consider not using the BTCC exchange, it seems dismal to trade on the BTCC exchange.

With this limit, you pretty much need to KYC in most cases and if you're gonna do that, you might as well look for an exchange with a much better reputation.

The single withdrawal limit will be affected too. Users without completing KYC will be limited to withdraw not more than 50 USDT (or other equivalent amounts in USDC, BTC, ETH, XRP, ADA, or LTC) per withdrawal.

Again, see the above link, BTCC was BTCChina at that time it's normal it looked different.

So you just search for the term BTCC, didn't bother to read the topic to see if it's about some coin using the name of the exchange to gain attention, and decided it's about this exchange? You've been lately on a witchhunt that is starting to become a bit too much!

Seriously, is Wikipedia good enough for you guys?

It is one of the oldest platforms that I heard, although I did not use it, but as far as I know, the platform has a lot of hidden fees, and therefore you will find that most of your profits have been lost because of these fees, which do not appear until you decide to click on the button (or after it, based on the fact that you will not read the conditions the service).

In any case, there are many better services, so there is nothing to force you to use them.

It may not be a scam, but there could be a reason the exchange is not popular any more. Try to check out their withdrawal and trading fees compared to other popular exchanges. Minimum deposit and withdrawal limits and also read their TOS regarding KYC and the limits. It will help you make a guided decision.

Hodling in an exchange is the last thing you should think about.

I've never heard of this exchange. It's new to me, so. I'm no longer interested in any new exchanges because of the recent drama surrounding centralized exchanges. To be honest I don't use any centralized exchange other than Binance. I used to use a few exchanges, but not any longer. I'm not interested in taking part in any drama. Even I have recently stopped keeping any funds for the exchange. Therefore, I won't try it.

It may not be a scam, but there could be a reason the exchange is not popular any more.

BTTC is a future derivatives exchange, not a spot exchange.

I seriously can't believe what I'm defending here since I was one of the biggest haters of the former OKChina (now BTTC) and the gang like Huobi but just because the average Joe isn't using it it doesn't mean there is no usage. How many topics and how many users of CME you've seen a round? Does this make them irrelevant?

If you're looking to trade BTC against Shiba of course BTTC is not the choice, if you want to push your luck and do a 150x leverage, yeah, 150x!!! then there are very few choices that have been around and still have some kind of reputation comparable to BTTC.

im binance user but would like to open an account on 2-3 more exchanges for hodl and payments

If you're looking for a hold, then you don't need an exchange at all, you need a cold wallet, storing your coins on an exchange is a big no!
If you look for simple buy/sell options or sending coins to some partners then BTTC is not the best choice at all, as I said it's for pure mad leverage trading if you're not into this stick with the big spot exchanges!

It's good to see an exchange that's been in business since 2011 but it's strange at the same time that you're not widely known by traders.

This is the largest crypto forum in the world though so few of the members here have heard of you!!! There are a lot of exchanges that appeared long after you, but they are very popular, so I am curious to know what are the reasons?

Does that mean it's under completely different management? I see that the official account associated with this exchange is BTCC_Official[1], so what happened to that account? It would be better if you open a new (single) announcement thread if planning to be a bit longer here.

On your site it's written about deposit bonus. can i withdraw funds (my deposit and pofit) if the bonus is activated? Or what are conditions

The profits you make from trading can be withdrawn, but the bonuses you earn from the 3,500 USDT deposit campaign cannot be withdrawn. But it can be used to cover your trading fees. The fee coverage ratio depends on your VIP level. By simply making a deposit of 200 USDT, you will automatically be upgraded to VIP1, and then you will be able to use your bonuses to cover 50% of your trading fees.

The BTTC platform has been alive for many years. Still, it is not popular enough in the market, but this does not mean that it is a good, reliable, and easy-to-use platform and has a lot of supported cryptocurrencies and accepts many countries to engage with; through my review, I found that it got 4-star ratings in many reviews sites add that the BTTC exchange application on the phone has more than 500 thousand downloads with most positive feedback, so you do not have to worry, it is not a personal recommendation from me because I did not trade on it previously. After all, I only deal with the top exchange platforms in the market, but if you want to try it, It's okay; you can do your research and get acquainted with its features, fees, etc., and then decide for yourself what you will do, and it is more important that you do not save your assets on any centralized platform, regardless of its reliability or popularity, so that you do not regret it later.

when will you add fiat deposit or withdrawals

Hi, we do offer fiat deposit service.

On web: Under 'Deposit', you will see 'Fiat deposit'.
On app: Tap 'Deposit'; you will see plenty of options in the Fiat section.

We will be adding the option of fiat withdrawal to our platform. So please stay tuned  ;)

Hi there! Do you plan to create an exchange without kyc?

KYC is a measure that we take to protect our exchange and the users' funds. While we strongly recommend our users complete KYC on our platform, users can still use our services without KYC. But please note that the options will be limited. For example, users will not be eligible to deposit in fiat if they are not KYC-verified. They will not be eligible to participate in our campaigns to earn rewards and withdrawable rebates either.

yea, there are only usdt based accounts, but in my opinion it is the most flexible and fastest option to use for wallets. You can also credit your account with fiat and then buy usdt through their exchange. I dont think that fees are too high.

There is no BTC-based account on our platform. Since we are a futures exchange and most of our trading pairs are quoted and settled in USDT, we only offer USDT-based account. However, if you wish to trade coin-margined futures such as BTC/USD, XRP/USD, and ETH/USD, you can convert your USDT to BTC, XRP, and ETH on our platform.

Currently we don't have plans to include this feature yet, but you can always fund your account with BTC and then convert it to USDT with our Convert feature.

What are exact benefits of becoming BTCC VIP1 program user?

Trading fee is reduced from 0.065% to 0.06%; you can cover 50% trading fees with bonuses; you also get to enjoy a 10% discount on conversion fee and withdrawal fee.

Also, some of our campaigns require users to be of at least VIP1 to participate in the campaign. So when you become a VIP1 user on BTCC, you get the eligibility to participate in more campaigns to earn rewards.

Do you maybe have a minimum trading volume on a monthly/yearly basis. If these levels are not reached, do you charge any penalty fees?

We don't have a minimum trading volume required. However, users are encouraged to deposit and trade so that they can get upgraded to different VIP levels for more perks and benefits.

Do you maybe have any limitations when it comes to KYC procedures? My previous broker did not ask for any account verification in terms of providing personal docs up to the amount of $10K. What is situation with BTCC?

Regarding our KYC procedure, we only ask our users to provide a photo of their identity document and a selfie. Once you provide both and they are approved, you will be able to enjoy perks as a fully verified user on the platform.

150X is the maximum leverage which you can use. Of course, if you are not a senior trader who knows exactly what you are doing, then you should certainly avoid such a high lever. However, btcc allows you to choose a level of leverage from 1x to 150x. So, it is your choice how high of a risk you are willing to take.

Agreed. 150x is indeed too high leverage, I am planning to take a lower size. Do you maybe know if there are costs related to use of leverage?

Well, good stuff usually comes with a price. There is only a small percentage which you will pay as a fee

It is not anything too expensive. Just keep in mind that 150x leverage is available only for daily trading, you cannot use it for overnight positions.

Hello everyone! I have crossed to this broker by looking to trade crypto futures. I can see that it has good reviews. I also have seen that it offers daily and perpetual futures. I have never traded these before, so, wanted to ask if there is some significant difference from trading “traditional” futures? Are there some specific risks that I should pay attention to? Thank you in advance for any advice on this topic.

Hello, BTCC offers perpetual futures trading on over 100 popular cryptos including BTC, ETH, DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, and many more. We also offer tokenized futures on traditional instruments such as gold, silver, Apple, Google. You can go long or short on the trading pairs with 1x to 150x leverage.

In my opinion you asked a very good question. You need to be very careful when trading perpetual futures, because these do not have expiry dates. I suppose that this is something that you are not used to. A daily futures would be something more like a “traditional” futures.

Thanks for the answer. Yes, definitely I have never traded futures without an expiry date. So, how do you trade?

It can be a tricky part for a newbie. With these futures you don’t have to worry when you need to make a settlement, so you can hold them as long as you want. This means that you can roll them over without any additional costs.

One of the options for trading would be to make a mix of both daily and perpetual futures. Think about using perpetual contracts as a sort of hedge for your open positions in ordinary futures.

Considering that they do not have an expiration date, margins are lower from daily futures. This is also one of the benefits of this type of derivative. Think also that you can use higher leverage here and you don’t need to make a delivery.

In my opinion it is not such a bad idea to become a VIP user. You have some benefits in terms of lower trading fees for example. If you are frequent trader, it would mean a lot for your overall profitability.

I think that it is not so easy to jump the ladder to become a VIP user with higher benefits. You need to satisfy two requirements – one is the total amount of deposit and the other is a 30-day volume of trading.

that’s right. If you start with a lower amount then you will not have almost any benefits. If you deposit $500 and have 30-days turnover of $3K, your trading fee will be decreased from 0.06% to 0.0575%. That means if you are not a high frequency trader, you will probably not fit for a decrease in fees.

btcc looks really well

I would like to warn you guys about this exchange. Unlike any other perpetual swap exchange they manipulate funding rates and change them a few seconds before funding settlement which will make you pay a lot of in funding fees. Funding changes from -2% to 2% in a few seconds, you can see it on the platform.

This is not even an exchange. It's just a broker. You cannot place orders in orderbook and make any liquidity. There are no real trades against other traders here.

Additionally, they manipulate the spreads, I witnessed over 5% (!!!) spread on PERPUSDT there, while it was no more than 0.5% a few hours later.

It might be looking good for you at the first gaze, but be careful!

Hi there, thanks for expressing your concerns. The change in funding rates is most likely due to large positions being opened and closed right before the settlement time of our futures contracts, which would lead to changes in the funding rates.

We're working our way to provide a funding rate history for each of the trading pairs on our platforms. Users will then be able to check the funding rate record for a more transparent trading experience on BTCC.

We specialize in perpetual futures trading and can confidently say that we are one of the best platforms out there if you want to trade futures.  ;D

To name a few of our perks:

  • We offer up to 225x leverage for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge, XRP. Very few exchanges have that.
  • Fees are as low as 0.01% for higher tier VIPs.
  • Copy trading is available. Also great commission + daily settlement for Lead Traders

But then of course, whether or not we're right for you also depends on your trading style/what you are looking for in an exchange.

Let us know which trading features you use most often, and maybe we can tell you more about what we can offer in that aspect. ;)

For the past several hours I evaluated whether BTCC could be a viable alternative to mainstream derivative exchanges. The more I looked into it, the more red flags I collected:

  • BTCC confiscates the entirety of your deposit if it amounts to less that $120:
(the minimum deposit amount for BTC is 0.0021 =~ $120)

what are generally fees on the crypto futures?

In my opinion BTCC is a good crypto futures broker because his major focus is on this product and tries to provide the best trading conditions for these types of traders. Frankly, the competition is too high in this field, and only the best ones can stay in the brokerage game.

I am trading with this broker, because he indeed has some of the lowest trading costs on the market for crypto futures. It goes as low as 0.06% per trade and no other additional fees.

You can expect to receive your funds on crypto wallets within one day. I wasn’t using other payment means so can’t speak about it.

For the past several hours I evaluated whether BTCC could be a viable alternative to mainstream derivative exchanges. The more I looked into it, the more red flags I collected:

BTCC confiscates the entirety of your deposit if it amounts to less that $120:
(the minimum deposit amount for BTC is 0.0021 =~ $120)

the withdrawal fee for BTC is also $120, documented in the fee schedule (https://www.btcc.com/en-US/support-center/detail/25236829085337)

Nice catch!

It looks like Yobit and HitBTC have got a worthy competitor in terms of robbing users clean of their funds in form of withdrawal fees and minimum withdrawal limits  ;D

Imagine having to pay a withdrawal fee of https://bitcoindata.science/api/localprice.php?coin=bitcoin&amount=0.0021&currency=USD&hex=000000 (https://bitcoindata.science/bitcointalk-api.html#local-price). This is crazy!

Don’t forget that you have a demo account with BTCC. You should try it and see all conditions. It is the same as a real account.

What security measures does BTCC implement to protect user accounts and assets?

We do have a wide range of measures in place to protect users' accounts and assets. For example, users are encouraged to set up 2FA for their accounts. We also perform segregation of assets regarding users' assets: users’ margins are segregated in a trust account while users’ assets are stored in a multi-signature cold wallet for enhanced security.

Hi there, sorry at the moment we don't accept users from Iran.

BTCC has been established since June 2011. We're in fact one of the longest-serving crypto exchanges in the industry. You're welcome to find out more about us on our website: https://www.btcc.com/en-US

Hey you!
You have to comply with some basic rules of behaviour on this forum. When you reply, try to put everything together in one post. There is no need to open a new post for each reply. At the same time, it is against the rules of the forum.
32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

Another thing, stop simulating interest in your service using alt accounts and fake discussions. It's pretty obvious and you're closer to a negative mark than building a good reputation.

I thought I was the only one who had noticed the pattern of fake accounts or a bump service account farm regularly posting stupid questions in the thread. Such a service is not worth trusting, or they could be having a very bad side they are trying to hide like very high withdrawal fees/ limits as pointed out by some user (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5434972.msg63839753#msg63839753)

In my previous post, I gave some kind of warning to stop it. He seems to have accepted my suggestion, if he had continued with it, I would probably have negatively tagged him for it.
However, running an exchange requires a neutral review and an honest attitude towards potential users. Any attempt to mislead the user is a type of cheating, and it cannot possibly go with any service, especially not of this type.

I wish BTCC would add more altcoins, like some of the newer DeFi tokens. There's a lot of potential in those markets.
