I'm glad your eyes are now open, and thanks for letting the novice people know about your ordeal. It's not new to me the vices of scammers on the internet, it's we that should very be careful of those things that are too good to be true. Many people want to get rich quickly, but is this possible without following due process? I guess not.

There has been HYIP many decades before cryptocurrency, and people were scammed for it, and scammers are still using this style in the name of cryptocurrency. People have to be careful about this.

Social media is their main target, and that is why many warnings and disclaimers have been issued to those that care to listen. And the closest-fetched one is on the site of "Onentrepreneur" where everyone was tipped to be careful of the scams in the name of trust wallets.

Even if you want to claim these airdrops can't you just ask from the official group? This is the fastest way of bursting scam airdrops, for example Sushi isn't doing any airdrops it's all fraud, but as a newbie, if you are confused or not sure you could just ask the team, there you go.

There is a 100% chance that the team will tell you they aren't running any airdrops at the moment.

To know the official group and channels always use coinmarktcap, you've learned your lesson.

@OP it's better if you learn how to resize image since there's no need to show all of those images in full size, just add "width=300" in your each image.

It's not a cheater, but scammer.

Cheater is mostly where someone is abusing or breaking a rules, while scamming is mostly about money involved where you will get the money from someone and someone lost his money. It's nothing new for scammer ask to deposit some fee, don't need to get tricked by such scam in the future.

Hey OP please resize your image first.

Second here are two tips which will help you to know about any coin real or fake?

1. Check where is it listed? Is it listed on coinmarketcap or on coingecko? If it is listed so next...
2. Check the contract address of the coin. You should match this contract address with that address from where you received that coins.

Second one is most important to safe yourself from funds loss or hack. So be careful.

Please read this topic ---> Guideline on posting images (with size adjustments), hyperlinks (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3974517.0) and then reformat the topic, most of us will not read the topic in its current form due to the difficulty of reading it.

Anyone who tells you that this is a golden opportunity to get rich in a short period without having a real use of what he is trying to convince you of or a revolutionary idea that gives him value is either a fraud or a fool who does not understand what he is talking about.

Yeah the images are too big and eating a lot of space for a content. OP should learn this first prior to focusing on the investments he mentioned.

OP, I think that you are not alone in trying to be a millionaire someday by means of crypto but we have to make sure that what we go through are not scam projects cause at the end of the day, maybe instead of earning and gaining we are going through a series of losses due to these scammers scheme.

Have been old method used by scammer by giving private key of trustwallet or metamask and there has several fund, when sending fees directly have settle with bot sending of fees.

But your eyes open right now because there are have one wallet with stable coin or USDT there about $10,000, many people got scam by sending their fees and directly bot sending to scammer wallet. Keep sharing to your friend and never trust any one here if want to give free with their assets in trustwallet or metamask wallet.

is the tempting offer of various telegrams group. A greedy investment in Telegram Group means you lose your crypto assets. There is no doubt about it.
People fell victims more to scams from telegram group when it was a new strategy from scammers, a lot of people have been scammed already through that telegram method and many other persons know about it. It is such a pity that people still fall victims to it presently. Don't trust any group talking about Investment on Telegram, newbies should read and know this.

In order to begin with, let me first point out the importance of setting this in your mind,THERE  is no quick way to success.
Any quick route to success is always accompanied by regrets.

As much awareness is being raised already about cryptocurrency by members of this forum, make it a plan not to talk about investments in cryptocurrency as a get-rich quick scheme.

I literally try to stay off shitcoins aside from the fact that it may be a scam coin they are not really promising as they are spoken of.
When dealing with shitcoins, be cautious YouTubers advice and avoid Telegram.

Just avoid shitcoins literally. Whether you know them or not, they're obviously just a bunch of pump-and-dump token schemes. Those shillers in the Telegram groups are hiring YouTubers and other influencers for them to add hype to what they're promoting.
If you're too optimistic and greedy, you're the target market that they are about to scam. Don't be too gullible just because they've got an amazing advertisement and that's why most of us here are tirelessly telling everyone to buy bitcoin.

There might be other cryptocurrencies that claim to be a get-rich-quick scheme but I don't believe in them. This is because the majority of them turn out to be scams. People out of greed want to double their investments magically and most of them have ended up losing their funds suddenly. Social media is an important information bank but it is also a major channel for fraudulent activities. I am always skeptical about the information in social media that's why I always verify everything. But to be on the safer side, I only invest in Bitcoin because I don't have the time and space for many stories about other coins.

Crypto scammers are individuals or groups who use fraudulent methods to steal money or personal information from individuals interested in cryptocurrency. These scams can take many forms, such as fake initial coin offerings, phishing attempts, and Ponzi schemes. It is important for individuals to be cautious and do their own research before investing in any cryptocurrency-related opportunity. Additionally, it is important to report any instances of suspected scamming to the appropriate authorities. Overall, crypto scammers are harmful to both the individuals they target and the reputation of the broader cryptocurrency industry.

If you are believing what these telegram groups are saying about making and investment and based on that you are making investment in any of the shitcoins then you are already in the wrong circle man and have full exposure of losing your funds. But the second one as you say if someone is trying to convince you that particular fake coin will be listed on Binance and you will pay fees in just this reason only? What is surety once it's listed it will grow as most of them are pump dump so even if they get listed the first one's to cash out profits will be the team and so called crypto influencers.

So you have been provided with some scams through trust wallet also but once you give them access or invest in these projects you are on the verge of losing your funds which is why I always advise to turn off people adding you in any telegram group without your permission to be on safer side and always investigate about the project and check for the token address to validate it with original one but avoid them at best.

Newbies have received a lot of advice in this forum on how to avoid Telegram groups that promise them huge returns on their investments. Why do people constantly fall for telegram frauds, I wonder. Is it out of greed or do they want to try their luck at becoming millionaires quickly?

It's good that you've realized that not all alternative cryptocurrencies are worthwhile investments, even if they promise to be listed on Binance shortly.

In the case of crypto investment, nobody can be trusted in the crypto industry. That's why I avoid altcoins that make tempting offers to their investors because those projects usually turn out to be scams.

I am glad that you learned it after some digging but you shouldn't believe all of the videso you can search or find in YouTube and in telegram groups. Most of the scammers are staying in telegram groups but as I say this, not all telegram groups are scam and it's just MOST of the groups are. Also be careful with a wallet where they give that has lots of balance or where you can see the value of it in dollars that it is huge or decent amount in dollars and you have to pay fee to be able to sell that fake crypto but when you send bnb on that wallet then you will see later that the btc you sent are being transferred to another wallet. In short, they give you a wallet with scam crypto and steal the bnb you sent in that wallet for transaction fee that it's supposed to be used.

not only telegrams, even in several social media such as Twitter, Facebook and some email messages are also the cause. They were interested because they were promised a sizable prize. Greed is indeed the main factor why beginners can be fooled so easily. They only think of getting rich instantly in crypto regardless of the risks that will occur, such as the scammer's trap.
Scammers use many methods to deceive their victims.
The crypto industry is full of risks for those who don't understand and don't know what to choose which is safe. Many altcoins offer high bids, and provide great returns and bonuses, but in reality, they are all nonsense and in the end just become a waste of investment and do nothing.

Most of the scam projects make use of the telegram group to launch their ways for an attack and all they start with is the introduction of airdrops to members after fulfilling some task given on the platform, this task will require their social media handles and through that they got vulnerable unknowingly, at the end of it all they discovered that it's all a waste of time after lots of time and energy had been wasted on a chase after air so called airdrops, not starting with them is the best abstainance than engaging their services at the end of the day they phish on your account details and use them to attack you.

Most newbies believe immediately they join cryptocurrency, then they are already millionaire but after joining and they notice they are not making money, then they start looking for easy ways to make money, whenever they come across things like this, they always jump into it because they believe that's an opportunity for them, but they don't know they are jumping into scam. I think most newbies don't really understand what bitcoin and cryptocurrency is all about before joining it that's why they easily get scammed.

in essence, you have to be more careful when looking for information, because not everyone who provides that information is sincere from his heart, but for their own benefit.
beginners also have to learn more about what investment, crypto, and bitcoin are.
and don't get carried away easily, because if you are looking for shortcuts to success, surely there will be a handful of people who offer you, as if they know the right shortcut, even though they are con artists.
make a lesson from everything you do and experience, thank you for sharing your story friends, I hope your story will be a good lesson for beginners like me and other friends who have just entered the world of bitcoin and crypto investment.

I can never trust anybody hundred percent to make my transactions for me,when I know there are cheaters everywhere. They will convince you to enter into a business with them, and finally run away with your money or cheat you in a way that you won't know.

From several posts that I read about scammers, hackers, and cheaters, the common denominator was joining telegram groups. As much as these groups sometimes bring value, I just do not trust them at some point due to the fact that anyone could send random links cloaking it to be genuine when in fact not.

Personally, I do not join any kind of groups outside Facebook. Telegram groups are just too risky for my coins to be handled. Though an exception is if the moderator or the creator of the group is a forum member who has hundreds of positive trust.

OP, be careful in joining these kinds of groups in the future. Always be vigilant and avoid all of the shady tactics that these scammers employ. Remember that responsibility always starts with you- as prevention is better than cure.

Op just to be safe when joining this airdrops is by searching for the official telegram group chat or discord of the project and asking them if truly they are holding an airdrop so as to know if the airdrop is real or if it's just a scammer trying to spread some fake token around. So that way whenever you receive a token from an airdrop you won't have to worry yourself if it's the real token or not.

I don't get, you're trying to make it sound like you're plan on giving the moderator of some certain telegram group the Access to your coin. Because I don't understand how joining telegram groups poses a risk to your coin.

Many newbies don't confirm any airdrop program to the team via discord or telegram, I have found many cases of fraud on twitter and telegram accounts from cloning from official accounts to deceive many newbies, they ask for a fee to be sent to be registered with the airdrop program, in the end they only transfer shittoken.

So beginners must increase their knowledge to minimize fraud cases, they must be able to distinguish between cloned accounts and official accounts to prevent false information about the airdrop program

Many scam cases occur to the average beginner because they are tempted by the instant profits they promise, many beginners do not have the knowledge to identify scam cases that must be avoided from telegram bots, phishing, and others, all methods of scammers will always be the same, only they take advantage of the hype project to trick beginners into redirecting to fake platforms and requiring investment to buy fake tokens as if they are offering a price below the current market price.

The most dangerous approach is the tempting offer of various telegrams group.
You used the appropriate adjective here and I support that. The telegram approach of scam is so dangerous and rampant and in as much as newbies are active on telegram, it is near impossible to avoid the scams.

In addition, there is another big scam on YouTube channels, where they show that Binance is going to be listed in the last few days, and they ask the viewers to purchase some coins.

What I need to know is whether the project owners are also the YouTubers or they pay the YouTubers to promote their coins or they go into partnership and after one scam project, they start another

The cryptocurrency industry  is a very risky one in general  and that is why safety is always preached and I personally  don't like getting involved in any cryptocurrency  outside bitcoin and this very approach had helped me to stay protected  and I've also kept my account safe with the two factor authentication.
People really need to learn how to stay safe on the internet  especially  with their coins because this scanners and criminals are always out their with different  tactics without getting any tired.

There is no doubt that the cryptocurrency market is a very risky, but  a lot of problems can be avoided if precautions are taken and a little common sense is used. Bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency, But due to thier fame some bad people has entered in crypto space which has make the crypto atmosphere dirty through hacking different exchange and accounts.

Two factor authentication is a great option for protection, but you can also store your cryptocurrency inside a hard wallet without any trouble. Also, don't connect your wallet unnecessarily everywhere. Always keep your Gmail safe. Before investing in any project, get complete information about it and study it thoroughly. So that your assets are very safe from scammers and fraudsters.
