Which is the best?  Trading on bitcoin or investing in the stock market? The battle between short period earning and long-term earning. Share your thought about it.

If I were Warren Buffett, I'll answer obviously the stock market and he's a long-term earner.
But since we're in a bitcoin forum and I'm a bitcoin investor then I'd say that bitcoin is better for me because I've experienced the better things with it when I'm able to make a profit through it. And if you're struggling to choose, you're already in the forum and it's not just bitcoin trading but it also includes altcoins if you're for it. But instead of bitcoin trading,you may want to choose bitcoin holding instead.

If you plan to hold for a long time, go crypto and forget about it. If you're looking to be more engaged and more active in your investment, go and pick stocks. Both will equally give you $$$, but stocks is way harder to get profits from and usually has movements that are very weak and incomparable against bitcoin.

In bitcoin/crypto, you literally just buy and forget and come back after a year or two and you'll get profits. Minimal effort, maximum gains.

Yeah, if we were making that much money from stocks then we wouldn't even be here. We would simply just look at stocks that we picked and how much money we made and that would be enough. In any case, I have to say that it's a good life that we are living right now in the crypto world the same way warren did with stocks, there are a lot of people who made a lot of returns and I feel like it's not going to be that much of a shock in the long run if someone gets as rich as Warren did from crypto investments.

I mean we still have some time, in 10-20 years there could be some worlds richest man from crypto, and it's too early for that now but when that happens it will definitely impact the prices a lot and people will want to become like that person.

I will let you know first --which you prefer in trading, a very highly volatile market that is very risky or a market where all coins have a stable moment with less risk but I don't know regarding generating profit, as we know making a profit in a very high volatility cryptocurrency is very easy. So I think there is a right comparison between the two markets because they are different. If you will ask me, I will do crypto trading since it is highly volatility --the price fluctuates very high which makes you make a profit easily. However, if you technically don't know the crypto market, I suggest you research first before diving into such a conclusion.

If you're going into trading, you'll be best off starting to trade both to høne your skills and work out which one you're more accurate with/which you find easier.

Investing brings a more stable long term growth but trading can bring higher returns than investing if done well.

Diversify investments into a lower risk that suit which is investing based on your skills.
Investing or trading always matters in the skills and knowledge that you have.  

In the historical records of stocks, there are a lot of people has been benefited and generated generous returns from it and it's possible on your side.
Trading might be tricky, but if you've skills, go for it.

Diversifying the investment is good choice, but it needs to be done in the right way. I'm much used to cryptocurrency trading than investment into stock and other form of investment. I find cryptocurrency trading to be much easier than stocks and forex. One who have used to cryptocurrency trading will never think of other form of investment, though it have got high risk.

Short term and long period earning then both things are capable but we could really be able to obviously tell on which one does give out that opportunity on earning big and this is where crypto do really get the spot
because of its volatility but of course it would be more dealing with that high risk which is much more than on stocks or forex trading.Both are on the same concept when it comes to making money

If I am asked to choose too,I will choose crypto because with crypto,I am save from theft,I am save from debt,and I am save from so many phisical risk,but it is good to get the both, investmest in crypto and investment in stock market.I cannot use all my fund in investmest in only crypto because I know the risk involved.But some persons that don't know the risk,they might decide to put all their funds in crypto because they haven't suffered heart break before.Getting the both is the best for me,so that if one dissappoints,the other will be there to help me.

Diversification is needed, you can understand it as a way to minimize risk.
You can invest in crypto and trade with it, while you can also invest in the stock market.
Other than of that, you can also invest your money in property, land, gold and anything that allows you to make money. You can make money even if you don't make much.

The best investment is not only about the possibility of making lot of profit, but you must consider the risks so that no matter how small the profit you will get, at least it can prevent you from losing lot of money. So I dare not say which one is the best, because in the long term even chicken eggs will be more expensive due to inflation.

If I had to choose between those two, and if I had a lot of money, I would invest in both. But in my current situation and I am not a rich person, I would prefer bitcoin as my investment in terms of the long term. But if ever I have given a chance to I will also invest in stock market that's for sure.

Nothing is best in this world. Every thing has its pros and cons and you have to decide which one cons are acceptable to you while you enjoy the pros.

There is no similarity between long vs short and stocks vs crypto so I am not sure why you put that question in the post.

Stock markets are regulated and have been under centralized control. Many stocks are kept for long term and often they are paying out dividends to holders. Bitcoin is a more recent asset class and it is also for the long term for most old timers, it's market are not regulated and takes more strict security measures to keep safe.

I have personally come from a stock market background and added bitcoin to my portfolio. Have been doing both and I will definitely continue like that.

everyone has a different decision there are people who prefer to invest in crypto and vice versa there are those who like to invest in stocks,

If it is bitcoin, long term  investment is far better than trading because trading is riskier and only few people actually make profit from trading unlike investment that is meant for everyone to make profit.

There's no doubt that our lives became better thanks to crypto and mainly to bitcoin. Without such, I guess we'll be back to our old lives when we're not even educated on how to take care of finances as we're able to learn about it through bitcoin.

I prefer bitcoin and altcoin over stocks. I follow the strategy of using part of the capital for speculation and holding the bulk for long-term investment.

Since there is now a bit of a rally in the market, Bitcoin and Altcoin are starting to move. Some good profits can be obtained by scalping on some pairs that have good volume.

As for the second option, which is holding in the long term (especially Bitcoin), this remains the best option, because we have not entered the expected big bullish market until this moment.

Your question is like asking which is best — starting a business or getting a job. The answer will always depend on the person, with a lot of factors to take into consideration. My personal thinking, Investing in Bitcoin is better than in stocks. Since 2009, you can not say stocks give better profit, ROI than Bitcoin.

Trading in Bitcoin is worse than in stocks because with no limit and less regulations on the cryptocurrency market as well as cryptocurrency exchanges, there are more manipulations and shady playing games from exchanges which can kill traders more easily.

Generally trading is bad in either stocks and Bitcoin. Investing is better than trading with a condition that you invest in a right one and Bitcoin is one of best things for investment.

Why not both? Yes, you can gain more in crypto trading if you have the right skills, this include day trading in alts/token rather than just holding BTC or ETH and we're talking in both bear and bull season.
Investing in stocks might be best but only for long term, but you have more assurance that it won't go to zero or 50-80% down overnight unlike in alts/token imo.

Segregation is the key here. It also depends on your income and how much are you willing to spend in the market.  Choose any of them and you will find that it’s actually Money game. It requires lot of money to be invested before one can achieve regular growth in it.

Moreover, it’s about mastering your skills in the trading field. If you have it then it doesn’t matter if you are trading crypto currencies or stock market.

There is no best in this case. If we talk about short-term (daily, weekly...) trading, in both cases there are many winners and losers, each market requires knowledge, skills, and capital if you want to progress and make money. And if it's a question of long-term investing, nothing can beat Bitcoin and the crypto development in the last ten years. But far from the fact that there is no profit in all other sectors, certainly Bitcoin is a high-risk investment, which is probably why it brings incredible profits for those who entered the game on time.

I think this question tends to suggest that you may not have much knowledge of any of the markets, and suggests that you have been influenced by people who claim instant riches from investing in bitcoins who have really been through the process and challenges.
and given your probable level of knowledge, I'd suggest you not put the money in until you have a better understanding of the two.
but I think if you do it for the long term, bitcoin is the best option for making a profit in the long term, as long as you have patience and faith in bitcoin. And stocks are also profitable in the long term, but not as much as bitcoin in making profits. But both are good provided you study and understand both well.

Investing is much easier and doesn't need a lot of monitoring so it doesn't interfere with our trading careers even if we do them all together. It only maximizes our earning capabilities. While waiting for the prices to moon, we are already earning sufficient income at all times just by trading alone.

Bears or bulls, there will always be fluctuations but I think the price are much stable during a bearish season and the recovery of the price is much smaller so the profits that we can get in trading can be a little smaller too than if we are in a bullish season. The only positive thing about the bears is that we can be able to buy a coin at a much cheaper rate.

Actually it depends on a person mind and a person experience. Trading for short term is better but it also involves certain risks and a person who wants quick success will sometimes loss a large sum of money as the market is not stable so trading require more activeness.
I just think that investment is more beneficial as compared to the trading as you just buy a coin and then leave it to get enhance in worth but if it reduces that it will be perfectly good option to wait even more for the market to become stable.

I don't know anything about stock investment and I won't encourage trading if you don't possess the required skills to successfully trade.
But one thing i do know is, If you can consider investing in stock market for long term purpose I believe you can do the same for btc. I would prefer a long-term btc investment anytime over stocks, the result we both know will not be the same.

Trading vs stock market is a very frequently asked question. Dear Bitcoin trading is good in some instances of the whole cycle or you can say that in the long time span trading it's a better option. Stock market I have no experience and detailed information about it so I can't give any suggestions or my point of view on that topic.

Best for what? With its high volatility and a high leverage on top of it there is no doubt you can make way more profits by trading bitcoin than by investing on stocks, but I doubt you may have the skill to do this, investing in the stock market implies you want to hold your position for the long term, but the capital necessary just to enter the stock market is very high, do you hold the capital necessary to even entertain the idea of investing in stocks? If you do not have the skill to trade bitcoin or the money to invest in stocks you may as well take a break and wait until you can fulfill one of those conditions.

Bitcoin for long term gains and stocks market for stability, plus dividends income. Both are good alternatives for your money to avoid letting it idle depreciating in fiat currency, but right now I'm more confident in BTC than anything else from stocks market. The lack of trust in companies and institutions is really worrying investors around the world, while bitcoin becomes an alternative in this scenario of uncertainties and mistrust.

I will say your profit or your success on any of these depends on your ability and knowledge of mastering or knowing any of them more better. Because for you to excel in any business that gives everyone who venture into it profit, you most at least know 45% of it more better. if you know both, you can very well get hands on both as diversifying portfolio is always recommended to reduce the chance of your possible losses.

Are you doing it because you want to have short term profits or long term profits? Are you an aggressive investor or a conservative one.

I can't say which is the best and neither the others here because that question is very subjective. There are some who prefer short term profits thus, they are preferring not only Bitcoin trading, but crypto trading in general. On the other hand, there are some who prefer the less risky one and they prefer long term profits that's why they are preferring the Stock Market.

As for me, I can't say as well which is the best of the two so it would be better if you will decide base on your preference or maybe try doing both and find which works for you.

Crypto market fluctuation seem to be higher than the stock market, of course this is just my assumption because basically I also don't really understand how the stock market move up and down and what causes it to fluctuate compared to the crypto market.

It started in 2020, I have been looking into  stocks and using paper trading accounts. I've been doing very well. The snag has always been the time  7am -1pm that the market opens. It is usually not convenient for me. During those hours, I am at work. But since cryptocurrency is available around-the-clock,
I'm inclined to choose it. Additionally, stocks are more expensive to invest in than cryptocurrencies, but if one has enough money to risk, it is best to just start investing in both with enough understanding.

Why not invest on Bitcoin so you could do it for long term as well? Bitcoin will defined give you much larger profits than stock markets in the long run. But I believe it depends on your perspective. I'm a cryptocurrency enthusiast that's why my take would be in Bitcoin, as always. Its high volatility is the main reason why it's good to buy for the long run, when it dips, that's when the opportunity to buy more for more profits. It's much worth the wait for me than investing my money on stock market.

The time limit or schedule in stocks make it a downside of it as we have to do trade or do transactions only at the certain times, I still do stock investments but not trading it regularly. I prefer to buy top stocks in my country and just keep it since somehow they will still be able to rise and get profits, though much longer waiting than in crypto. Unlike in crypto that we meed to monitor it regularly since the price is too volatile and can change in seconds depending on market conditions, its way more risky so we need to put more effort on trading it by monitoring and studying it.

I don’t get that, what you are referring to long term and what are you referring as short term? I mean it completely depends on a trader, how he wants to trade, or for how long he wants to hold his stock or coin. The main reason for which people avoiding forex trading or stock market is that, it has unnecessary fees or taxes and are regulated by the government. Whereas in crypto trading, no one can really know how many BTC i have or holding in my cold storage. Moreover crypto trading proves anonymity, which many users like.

You can invest on bitcoin for long term as well as on stocks for short term so the battle is decided by the investor so there is no actual thing called which is best among the two.

Let's assume one who mastered both bitcoin and stock market investing for years then imagine what they will do, for the information wise investors never forget the diversification so they will do both and try to dissipate the risk as well.

Obviously, both have their own pros and cons. Trading on bitcoin is risky but as the risk is prevalent the reward is equally great. out into you because not all people does have the same tolerance when it comes to these kind of things which is something you are the ones who would really be needing to discover.
Investing choice would depend or matter into you because its your money so its your own full decision on whatever it would be.

There are several advantages for those which decide to choose cryptocurrencies over stocks, to begin with the capital that you need is many times smaller, and if you have small savings this is critical as the stock market requires that you already have a lot of capital, the volatility is another aspect in favor of this market, after all if the price does not move up or down then how are you going to make any money? We need for the market to move and cryptocurrencies move way more than stocks.

That is why I like investing in crypto because it doesn't require big capital and we can start investing whenever we want.
Meanwhile, if you want to start with the stock market, you must provide a large amount of capital because my friend once offered me to try playing in stocks.
With the crypto market constantly moving, it will give us the opportunity to make a profit so that the capital we use can be bigger.

In the short term bitcoin is more volatile than any other asset. While in long term there is no match with bitcoin's ROI.

Both markets have their pros and cons, if you want to be safe and less volatile, then stocks are the choice, and if you like to take risks but have a chance to make bigger profits, then cryptocurrency is the choice. I've been into both markets and can't say which is better, it's up to you. Like I like risk and volatility, so I choose cryptocurrencies and my friends don't like risk, they choose stocks. Long term or short term, I still lean more towards bitcoin, because in the long term bitcoin growth is very impressive.

and if you haven't had both I think it's better to do some research and it's very important,

Well, it's depending on the person's comfort tho, but for me of course it's trading/investing in crypto rather than investing in a stock. Because with crypto it's really easy to use I don't need to do complicated things because I want to investing or trade in stocks. If we talk about long-term earning bitcoin can win with that but I don't know about other coins like many altcoins out there since we don't know if they can keep alive for more than 5 or 10 years from now.

People have their own preferences but both of it is still having the same purpose we use them to earn profit or money. I haven't tried stock but it is safer than forex and also crypto as long as you have knowledge of the company you are buying shares and less volatile unless there is big news coming up on their company. Bitcoin is really attractive because of its price, which is why a lot of new people mostly Gen Z are jumping to bitcoin and crypto because of the price the is huge.

Both are financial markets and don't say bitcoin is unpredictable, even with the stock market, you can never predict what will happen. The only difference is that bitcoin is much more volatile than the stock market, but the more volatile it is, the easier it is to make big profits. To get a profit from trading based on your knowledge, don't try to blame bitcoin when you don't profit from bitcoin. If you don't like high volatility, then stocks are more suitable for you, bitcoin is not for the faint of heart.

It was very important that we are aware of the situation before investing and must be specific about what we are doing. It is obvious to fail and lose our money in an investment that we have no knowledge of. Whether choosing any of them all to be right as long as we reach our goal. It is all about looking for a place where we are comfortable, living in our comfort zone helps us to make a good decisions which is a big factor in our success.

But for me, I've preferred crypto investment because of its volatility and of course, this is the place where I'm more knowledgeable with.

there's nothing wrong with the market, whether it's bitcoin or the stock market. sometimes we force the market to always be according to our wishes or analysis. whereas things like that make us destroyed in the market. we can only predict and in the end can profit or loss. but I think it's more about how we manage risk, so that it's not profit-oriented that we will always get on every transaction, but sometimes we also have to be able to accept losses in trading

If you are into safe investor then stock market would be your choice, even if the stock you invest is down it's not that big compared to when bear market happens in Bitcoin market where it could cut up your capital up to 30% or even more if you are not aware of that. But if you use DCA strategy for Bitcoin then having stock market as your secondary source of income would be really beneficial for you since you get multiple earnings.

The comfort zone is good, but I know many cases when a person, being in the comfort zone, did not want to do anything and this is not very good, we either grow or degrade, there is no middle ground. Trading is a difficult job and it is difficult to stay in your comfort zone while trading, most likely investing in bitcoin will allow you to sleep peacefully if you are investing in cryptocurrencies.

It cannot be generalized, depends on the person. If you are good at crypto, trading/investing in Bitcoin is surely the best option. But if you are good at the stock market, you probably choose to invest in the stock market because you are familiar with the market nature. Regarding short-term or long-term profits, it depends on the target of your investment. Both investing in Bitcoin and stock market can be targeted for short-term or long-term profits, everyone can determine how long to hold their assets.

Depends on trader's experience, if you are good at trading crypto markets then answer is bitcoin trading. If you have confidence you can make it better on stock markets, the potential ROI will be higher on second option. Anyways, long term investing is best choice and stock market investment can't go wrong if you know what you are doing, IMHO. My suggestion is to try both markets and check results for making long term strategies.

As beginners who really don't have any experience in this field, trying them both is the best option. Both of them are risky and also profitable but this will depend on us - the way we manage it and the way we make decisions.

I preferred trading over the stock market because I was exposed to it and it seems to be a good place to stay. Yes, we have to choose the kind of business that we are comfortable with but sometimes we also need to try for another field, maybe we are good at it also. And I believe that investing in the stock is worth trying, in fact, many known names are doing this.

Yes, that's right, it goes back to the ability of an individual in which field they are more in control, bitcoin or the stock market. Ive been into cryptocurrency trading and currently I've been busy taking some reality things as adulting right now and for me with the market volatility, it's too hard to get a vibe on it so ideal to be is having a stock market because I become more into long term investment but still I'm watching with the market price of the bitcoin getting steady and waiting for the opportunity even though it's a crypto or stocks if you have the chance to grab why not take a risk to invest if you have an extra spare of money. Still use a trading plan with a good analysis for your positions.

At the beginning of your journey I think it is for the best to only concentrate on one market and there are several reason for this, to begin with our funds are limited and if you were to invest in too many markets you will probably not have enough money to invest in all the good assets you can find on each market, we also need to add the increase in the trading fees and taxes you will need you pay, and finally your attention will be divided and you may miss opportunities you may not have missed if you were giving your full attention to a single market.

Maybe if you had asked this question on 3 January 2009, i could have answered stocks but right now it is very difficult not to mention bitcoin. I don't like to invest all my savings in one place when investing so i take care that my investment in stocks and bitcoin is balanced.

Bitcoin and stocks market kind of investment, i will say that whosoever that is into cryptocurrency will directly agree that the best investment to partake with should be Bitcoin, while someone who knows the stock market and don't have the pre- understanding of Bitcoin will go directly to embrace stock market kind of investment. So it's vice versa, and actually depending on the one you can coup with.

Not many people even saw the big difference in the idea. "Trading" bitcoin, but somehow it's investing into stocks. If you said trading bitcoin or trading stocks, I would understand, if you said investing into bitcoin and investing in the stock market, I would understand. But why trading bitcoin yet investing into stocks? That's not just words, that is a totally different thing.

If you invest into bitcoin, as in buy and hold for a long time, then you will make more profit than investing into bitcoin, but if you invest into stocks yet trade bitcoin then it depends on how well you can trade it, if you are good then yeah, if not then it is better to invest into stocks.

I am not into the world stock market but into my local stock market. It actually depends on someone's taste to trade and the effectiveness of your analysis. Both are nearly the same with highs and lows. People say cryptocurrencies are so volatile but there are actually very volatile stocks too. I own a stock that is now only valued at 11% of my original capital. But I prefer cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin because I believe they are the future and we need a decentralized but regulated monetary system. That's true, if we would be investing into bitcoin, then that would be better than investing in stocks, but this is trading discussions section so I am going to talk about trading bitcoin or trading stocks. If you are someone who buys and sell stocks quickly, like a short term trader in the stock world, the amount of expenses that requires will be huge.

Buying and selling stocks causes a lot more money than what it does with bitcoin, whereas trading bitcoin could be great because even 0.25% profit could end up being profitable due to trading fee, depends on where you trade of course. That is why it's important to realize what you want to do, and what you want to achieve.

There is no single word answer to the question that whether crypto is best or stock is best. Stock is well matured market and is regulated while crypto is very new,  unregulated and highly volatile. This volatility has its own pros also like if you have bought crypto at right time then you get benefited by sudden bull run of bitcoin or vice versa.
I do agree with you that its very much important to invest in market which you are well aware of rather then just moving with trend. If you are investing in crypto just because you hear its going up then you are making a mistake. 

If stock trading was best for me then am sure I wouldn't be here on the forum learning, discussing and sharing experience about bitcoin. In as much as I have no knowledge on how the stock market and trade works then definitely it's ain't the best for me. Maybe not now.

If you do want less volatile then go for Stocks
If you do want that huge volatility then go for Crypto.

This is their main differences and this is also the sole reason on why profitability chances is different on each side and of course the risk would be also as high as well if you do tend to touch
up crypto space.Some arent really just that too confident when it comes to this manner and this is why they've decided to stick into non volatile things which it isnt really
that bad at all.There are really just people who are really that adventurous or do really likes to face up something which is really that risky but something rewarding

Basically you can diversify by doing both "crypto and stock". I think many traders who previously had a lot of experience in the stock market probably wouldn't ignore it instead of just trading in crypto. Both can give them an advantage, and both are also at risk.

I also tend to think that the crypto market is much more interesting than the stock market. I can consider the risk because for me the risk is worth the return. And this is also the reason why I am here for long term.

Since I am not very familiar with the stock market, I would prefer to trade or hold bitcoin. From experience, holding bitcoin for the middle term is preferable. Gain some funds, then buy back again. Both are advantageous if a person work correctly and manage their strategies in right way. Short periods earning is good and profitable but it will require more time and more energetics in contrast to the long term earning.

Bitcoin always remains the king of all cryptocurrency coins and if the person invest in Bitcoin then it is possible that the loss of money overcomes because long term strategies can reduce the risk involved in trading.

Between bitcoin and stock market I have good knowledge about bitcoin. But not so good knowledge about stock market. So I prefer bitcoin here.  In that case I always like to invest in Bitcoin. But I have never invested in stock market because I don't have much experience with stock market.

If the OP had asked a similar question on a forum where traders trading on the stock market communicate, the result would not have surprised anyone. After all, if we are on the Bitcoin forum, it means that we have made a choice for ourselves which trade suits us the most.

I am crypto trader and one of the holders, but I have never objected to the stock market being used especially for profit. But I tend to go to great lengths to become trader or investor in crypto instead of stocks. If you and other friends can take advantage of opportunities in the stock market, then you and your friends will never wrong to trade or invest.

The bias is to be expected seeing that not only this is a bitcoin forum but the bitcoin forum created by Satoshi himself, yet @Susano received good recommendations as anyone which has to ask such a basic question about what markets to trade is probably not ready to trade at all, after all experts can take decisions based on their instincts and be right more often than not while a newbie needs to stick to a trading plan, and a basic part of that plan are the markets you can trade.

Not sure what you mean by short vs long period earning? Is it mean that for both assets or would you say that stocks or bitcoins are more for short/long term investing? In my opinion both stocks and bitcoins are excellent assets to be investing in long term. Sure there are chances to make a huge profit short term but the risks are quite high and there is no real guarantee that we will be profitable in the end. Any person who has invested 10 years ago in bitcoin or in stocks, made a lot of money by now. That is why I would recommend anybody to go for long term earning and don't trade so much short term. If you have enough capital at hand, why not invest in both? A well diversified portfolio should hold not only crypto currencies, but also other asset classes like stocks, bonds and some commodities. The broader we spread our investments the lower our overall risk profile.

In My Opinion holding Bitcoin have much high potential then every stack or investment ,because bitcoin have a clear future and at the price which its sitting is very good because it highly retraced and fighting to reach higher and higher ,

I says you have one year to invest in BTC before bullrun starts , So invest in bitcoin in parts and hold like diamond hands .

If you are already rich and want to trade with a bunch of money to make some income: trade bitcoin cuz its much safer than alts and volume is much higher

If you want to trade but are risk adverse: trade bitcoin cuz its much safer than alts

If you want passive income: invest in and stake Ethereum and buy dividend-focused stocks, potentially stake other L1 networks as long as you buy in during bear market and sell out during bull market

If you want lower volatility investing but very long term with slow growth: invest in stock market indexes

If you want to diversify: invest in Bitcoin, invest in and stake Ethereum, trade alts and bitcoin and ethereum, invest in high growth stocks as well as dividend-focused stocks as well as stock indexes

Personally, I invest long term in Bitcoin, invest long term in Ethereum and stake it, and trade alts. Eventually I'll start investing in the stock market as well for diversification but not until probably next decade once Bitcoin is around a million because until then Bitcoin's growth versus stock market growth is just too lopsided to even consider stocks.

I think it only depends on the people. Those who are not into crypto right now but are into stocks will say that stocks is the winner but for us who are here into cryptos and not into stocks, will say that crypto is the winner. Both have risks and the amount of risk will also depend on the asset that we are investing.

Stocks is regulated yes, but I think there are still assets there which can perform poorly so if we are only blindly investing and not doing our research properly then chances are that we can fall for these assets. more challenging and much more really worth for you time if you are really that good or able to handle yourself. Just be aware about the risks because it isnt something that you could

I am not sure about the whole "less scams" in the stock market thing. Sure stocks themselves do not turn out to be scams or companies turn out to be scams that commonly, although it is possible for pink sheet and small cap stuff, but it is definitely something that is rare.

On the other hand, the companies you trust your money with to invest could end up being scammers who risk too much of your money and go bankrupt, and basically take your money down with them when they bankrupt, and this one is not so rare either, hence you should be careful about it. I know crypto is risky, but I rather have bitcoin than trust any wall street company with my money.

As @jaberwock said, it's up to the people, you can't force stock investors that crypto is better, and conversely, they can't make you believe that stocks are better than crypto. There is no winner in this case.
I invest in both and I don't want to distinguish which is better because both are profitable for me. You have reason to invest in bitcoin and should not trust any 3rd party, even though bitcoin is riskier. While they believe in stocks because they believe in companies worth trillions of dollars, much larger than bitcoin's market cap and regulated by law. My friends are stock and forex traders, we have different views on the two markets, and to be honest, no one wins every argument ;D :D.

The difference that I see in the Stock Market with the Bitcoin market is that in the Stock Market and in forex the volume is consolidated and it is much better to do a good analysis with the consolidated volume, while with Bitcoin the Volume is not consolidated , and that is equivalent to thinking that it is identical to entering a casino and gambling. Of course, both markets are very profitable, but you have to know how to operate, you can't guess, it's not like gambling, here things have to have a good study to avoid losing money, it's best to trade knowing very well what is does, and obviously the Bitcoin market has higher volatility.

The stock market for security, stability, and dividend income, and bitcoin for long-term gains. Both are fantastic strategies to keep your money from standing around and depreciating in fiat currencies, but right now I have more faith in Bitcoin than anything else on the stock market. For me, stocks seem to be riskier than Bitcoin in the long run, though I understand that the companies that the stocks belong to are actually there to stay if we choose good ones, I still feel safer if my money is invested in Bitcoin instead of stocks.

I also feel like Bitcoin is more profitable, in short term and also in the long term than stocks if it's bought at the right time with the right amount of money. I don't believe that stocks have got the ability to provide significant profits in only a few hours if good enough capital is invested in them.

Lack of trust in some big companies maybe but most of them rest are doing fine and stock traders don't really care as long as they are getting their daily bread on the table from their national markets.

What does concern is the added negative response from IMF on crypto and although that did not have any effect on the market as of now, it indicates that we have to keep fighting for long to be able to see bitcoin in a bigger place.

Bitcoins have more advantage than stock market or forex trading. BTC trading doesn’t have maker and taker fees when you trade. They don’t have hidden charges while you trade. At last stock market trading are monitored by the government and they impose unnecessary taxes on you. Whereas in the other hand Bitcoins have the decentralised feature, which allow us to trade anonymously without paying any extra penny to anyone. But cashing out Bitcoins are also hard in countries where Bitcoins aren’t legal. At the end of the day, you need to make the choice, which you want to choose.

Losses and profits are made from bitcoin and stock market but it's very confidential to trade what's we fully understand. Bitcoin contribute more volatility to the market with the repeatedly dump and pump charts. I believe that if a person has enough money, they can invest in both markets. On the one hand, there is the Bitcoin market, which is quite volatile, but when it has its ATH it can make you a millionaire. True that, why choose one if we can afford both.  Besides, it is always better to diversify.  Have an investment in cryptocurrency and also have and investment in the stock market.  So that if one investment does not have a good result, we still have another one that may bring us good profit.

Its an apples and oranges comparison in my opinion. They have some similarities but after all they are different asset classes. The choice to invest in stocks will be low in this forum because it is a crypto forum, ask the same question in a stock market forum you will get the opposite skewed answer.

It all boils down to being a personal choice. If you are comfortable in either you should go with that, there is nothing bad about either if you are happy with it. Stocks carry lesser risk as compared to crypto because of less volatility over time but bitcoin has itself become <15% volatile in a year, so I dont think it differs much than holding a stock in the long run.

I will choice Bitcoin because I have got a good understanding of it, It deflationary nature, limited supply, security and as a form of money unlike the stock, meaning is like I'm having my own money in my pocket when I have Bitcoin, and can transact wherever I found myself so far there's network, then why would I have to chose stocks over Bitcoin if Bitcoin has come to stay and if adoption has happened as supposed.

It really depends on your taste mate. Aside from that, it also depends on what stocks you are looking at. Is it your local stock market or the international stock market? Is your local stock market doing well? If you are looking at the popular world stock markets then it is best to have a broker wherein you really owned the stocks, unlike eToro where the spreads are somewhat wide. Generally, I can say that you should do both as part of diversifying your investments. But you should stay away from exchanges stocks or crypto that provide wide spreads.

You could really invest on both market if you do really wanted to do so, considering that both does require up money on buying somehting.Just like i did said that it would really be mattering on how volatile on those two

But if asked to choose one, I will choose trading in bitcoin. Trading in bitcoin and investing in stock market almost works the same, its also supply and demand which increases the value of a bitcoin or stock. I agree that in bitcoin you can start in smaller portion before trading in huge amount of assets to learn more as you trade more. You can also try investing in stock market if you think you're confident to put your money in. Always do you own research to both first before trying its true we will learn from our losses but its better to have knowledge first before trying. Study the tips and techniques you will do good. When crypto does not exist yet, stock trading is already a great place to stay for traders but as I can see, it never hits and encourages people to try it. Pretty much unlike what crypto does as it gracefully encourages people to learn to trade and even make this as a living. I would say that crypto trading registration to any exchange is quite easy, unlike the stock market. As have no experience in trading, definitely will choose crypto because if we think about the risk, both crypto and the stock market have it all.

I also don't understand the stock market, but I am trading in the forex market, and I find forex still easier to trade than bitcoin. Simply because bitcoin is still being manipulated, it will sometimes make our analysis and judgment incorrect. That rarely happens with the forex market, forex depends on supply and demand to determine the price, so the analysis and prediction are somewhat easier. I trade forex for short term profit and bitcoin for long term investment.

Of course I have traded bitcoins not only bitcoins I have traded various alot coins. There I have succeeded and failed many times. But till date I have not invested in stock market. I have no idea about the stock market. But many people have heard about the stock market. But I have no real experience in stock market. I have real experience in bitcoin and crypto currency.
There is definitely a difference between short term earnings and long term earnings. You must give enough time to earn long time. In long term investment you have to make losses and see profits but don't get frustrated and have a goal. And when that goal is met, you have to sell your investment. On the other hand short-term earnings require small amounts of earnings in a short period of time. Here you will not be tempted to earn more. But for me short term earning tie is best.

For long term holding and for better security I will say that select bitcoin . Here you will get the security of your fund as well as you can earn a good amount of profit from your fund through long term holding. Not only for long-term trading bitcoin is also suitable for short term trader , specially who have a little much fund for trading they could easily earn by doing short term trading i.e. day trading  , The main reason for my suggestion to choose bitcoin coin is its security. Atleast you don't have to be worry about its security

When it comes to security then there's no doubt that Stocks could be better not only those assets are really regulated but also when it comes to volatility then this is something that you could really be able to see that it is really that less riskier but of course the opportunity for you to make money isnt really that much and this is why people would really tend out to dive in with crypto because of its extreme volatility.
Yes, it could really give out that kind of opportunity on making huge profits but of course you should really need up to bare with the risks considering that movement is really that too much.

You can't say that trading bitcoins is going to be better than stocks trading or the other way round. There are thousands of different stocks out there and while some are performing good, others are going to make a big loss. Both types of trading involve different risks that we need to accept. In my opinion the best portfolio is the one that is well diversified and spreads out risk across different asset classes. Nobody knows the future and can tell is with 100% certainty which stock or cryto currency to buy. That is why we shouldn't put all our money into one basket. Owning bitcoins is a good idea and should be part of any investment portfolio, same goes for stocks. Also I wouldn't say that bitcoins are only for longterm earning, while stocks are for shortterm profits. We can make a lot profit over time from stocks, while we can also make a lot of profits in a few days with bitcoins when we buy and sell at the right time. It comes down to what is more comfortable for us, trading assets actively or investing for a longer period of time and not worrying so much about shortterm price movements.

Actually if you have a proven system in trading, then it doesn't matter what assets that are you trading, like for example; I both trade stocks and cryptocurrencies. My system in both are the same where I only trade uptrends, usually a swing trade then my parameters are the same with stock market and cryptocurreny market. The only difference for me is the volatility, both are volatile but cryptocurrencies are more volatile and the market is open 24/7 and no break. While in stock market, there's a lunch break, a open and closing hours. You cannot also trade when it is holiday or when it is weekends because the market is close. I'm more comfortable trading crypto than stocks because the market is open 24 hours so I can make an order anytime I want.

I remember one more thing, there is called a dividends in stocks where you can earn by holding shares of a specific company, usually it occurs quarterly so it can be a passive income but there's also a risks because the value of a stock is not just rising, there's a probability that it can also go down so there are a lot of things to consider.

But people love to choose a highly volatile market despite the risk than just thinking about the security of a regulated market (stock market). Because they never think about the risk but rather than thinking about earning more as it was very possible when you are in the crypto market. Of course, I'll take the opportunity that it may give and with the capability of the market, the more it gains more interest for those who seek additional income.
Might choosing them both and working together be a big challenge, so I think we need to choose one in order to have a productive output.

to be frank enough stock market also have some stocks that's just as volatile as cryptocurrencies it's just they are usually low in market capitalization and just don't have as much trading volume and liquidity compared with some of cryptocurrencies with lower market capitalization which usually still have quite the liquid for you to make an exit. I'd say it's should be based on one preference but then again it seems the market of cryptocurrencies just seem to flourish more than its counterpart that is stock market nowadays, heck, even you most likely gonna get nothing out of your big stocks holding like AAPL and the likes since their market capitalization is too big and volatility quite low. I'd certainly gonna choose cryptocurrency if it's profit that I'm gonna be finding at the end of the day, it's just better alternative.

I think for me, bitcoin trading is the best, as it is the one with the easiest accessibility for the common man out there.

Investing in stock is also very good, but I feel this is for those with a lot of money to begin with, but on the other hand, with as little as $5, one can invest in bitcoin easily with out having to fill a long paper and go through document submission for verification.

So for me, day in, day out, I will always turn to bitcoin trading and investing, since I know that bitcoin has the ability to bring in profit, both in short and long term bases.

Forex is also cheap to invest or trade. However I do agree that stock investment is a high intensive investment as you will need to buy a certain quantity of unit as specified in the public offer just like it is in launchpad investment.  Regarding documentation, hardly would you see any reputable trading platform whether forex or cryptocurrency without means of identification or documentation. It is also called KYC in cryptocurrency investment and binance has a level of verification to an account before you can freely transaction on it, so the documentation is the same maybe be the process may differ.

Whether it's easy or not, in my opinion actually depends on each individual's ability and understanding of it. we have to do something according to our interests, goals and financial capabilities and the most important thing before we trade crypto or invest in stocks is to understand the advantages and disadvantages.
I think profiting by trading crypto is more likely to be efficient in the short term but certainly more risky. while benefiting from stock investment is certainly more suitable for the long term.

The both are good, but Bitcoin trading is the best when you have the opportunity to make up your mind that you want to take the risk involve which is part of something you need to pass through before you can achieve your goals in the future. Why do you think either of those is short-term investment? Although it is, but currently if you are looking for profit then just go for long-term investment especially when we are talking about Bitcoin and Stock market. Most of the stock market nowadays are profitable if you do long-term and for Bitcoin if you do DCA regularly, surely you will get something from it in the future. Just do both and stick with long-term investment for safer approach.

I think investing in Bitcoin right now is nothing but stupid.Because right now the price of Bitcoin is on the upswing.But those who invested by buying low price bitcoins invested correctly because they managed to succeed at least to some extent.

However, short-term investments such as futures trading can be made on Bitcoin.
Now that the price of Bitcoin is increasing, you can go into futures trading and take a long trade.

Bitcoin trading and investing in the stock market are both good investments but i will rather invest in bitcoin because I have been in the business for quite sometime now and understand it better than when compared to the stock market. They are both long term investment. And require patience and consistency. Bitcoin has potential growth when you buy and hold. I would prefer bitcoin trading  because of the following characteristics/qualities which include its decentralised nature, privacy, low transactions fee. The stock market doesn't just cut it for me.

Obviously Trading on Bitcoin is the best way to earn money in a short term or long term and it's far better than investing in the stock market. But a question? It's not for all to trade with Bitcoin. Because it's very volatile and can lose all the assets if someone invest in wrong coins or in a wrong time. So if you can't handle high volatile market then Bitcoin trading isn't for you. You can go for crypto holding for long terms.

But there's only one issue which is security but well we have seen that even stocks do make out those horrendous crashes which we can say that risks is always there on losing up your investment all the way in.
