Title: Your successes over the past 5 years
Post by: summonerrk on January 24, 2023, 03:16:00 PM
Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.

It's not just cryptocurrency that unites us all. We all became different after we learned about her, and went deeper into her knowledge. And now, even if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience, and you can share it.

Over the last five (5) years, I have participated in various signature campaigns and I have at least accumulated a good amount of BTCs throughout my journey. However, there was a time where I also got scammed when I invested in a ponzi-scheme last 2018. From there, I have learned various fundamentals and skills necessary for me to venture in this journey.

Fortunately, also, majority of my BTCs were allocated towards funding my own education. I used my BTCs to purchase school materials, books, and other educational stuff when I was still in college. Currently, I am earning most of my BTCs (still from campaign signatures) in order to at least have some security for the future.

I think everyone was wrong, the main thing is that this mistake does not discourage the desire to continue to believe in yourself. I liked your decision to buy books and other things. This reveals you as an independent person.

Gained so much more compared to if I just held BTC. How? I traded shitcoins. No — not by reading charts all day, but by trading narratives and buying platform tokens that seems to be getting a lot of usage and revenue/fees. My "trades" range from a few days to almost a year.

^I wouldn't recommend doing this to anyone, though. As chances of picking shitcoins that will perform really badly is quite high if you don't know what you're doing.

I have gained a lot and lost a lot in the last five years.  I bought a flat with the money I earned from crypto in various ways.  I fulfilled all my desires.  Bought a car, etc. These are my happy stories.  But I lost millions of dollars in the same way trading wrongly and trading futures that I could have spent the rest of my life comfortably. Now my condition is very bad.  Apart from my office work, I earn some extra money from signature campaigns and manage my family with this

An impressive strategy, without drawing lines on the price chart. This requires perseverance and understanding of the project economies! Thank you for the advice, good luck in your further choices of projects for investment.

I have less crypto holdings now compared on my portfolio last 5 years because I take profit last year and invest most of money on stocks then leave few on crypto to secure my profit. I really believe that crypto will dump when it reach the ATH that makes me secure profit on less volatile asset and safe from cypto volatility or stablecoin failure. Right now I’m slowly building my portfolio again by doing DCA using my salary and part of my stock investment but I’m not planning to all in again on crypto since I decided that stock market will be more safer for my main investment.

I accumulated most of my crypto during pandemic when the price drops due to covid panic. I’m planning to do the same timing when recession hits hard the global economy.

I could say that I had better gains over the past five years. I was able to sustain our necessities and save some because of my crypto earnings. It's just so challenging because when the pandemic happened, I've lost my job and I relied only on crypto trading and during that time, the market was on a bad situation. I spent some of my savings to survive.
I could also say that I learned a lot in the past few years especially in my trading journey and those lessons are applicable up until now.

By taking part in signature campaigns, I learnt alot of how people perceive cryptocurrency and how they compare it to different other things in our times like freedom and free speech and also the abuse of free speech.

I did accumulate bitcoins during this time but I kept the altcoins to a bare minimum. I usually trade long term with ranges between months to a year. I dont have the need of quick earnings and neither do I have to loans to repay so I can invest at my ease and leisure. This I feel is lacking among many users of this forum. Short term day trading is not for everyone and I dont recommend it.

There have been a lot of successes in the past 5 years, like having a family, and there are small wins like getting a new job and being able to purchase other things that were needed. I've grown a lot, matured, and can stand my ground, but the cons are that a lot of problems have struck you and you should be strong. Right now, we still don't have emergency savings, as we are just getting enough salary for our family and also paying for other things that need to be paid. But I'm confident that in another 5 years, I'll improved, and I'll be able to look back on the past and be proud of what I've accomplished, despite the numerous challenges I've faced.

Have many good and bad experienced over past years with trading in cryptocurrency, no doubt with how much achievement and most thanks for many friend helped me guide earn money trough trading in Bitcoin and altcoin. Journey is not always running well and some time over 5 years I faced bad experience actually with bad news from cryptocurrency.

Have impact when some altcoin in my portfolio price increase down and lately when FTX as bigger exchange have been collapse, but over 5 years my challenge with cryptocurrency most happiness and bad experience having, don't worry after darkness have lightness and optimist with your altcoin assets still drop will back later to higher price.

I can't give the entire detail but it's lovely to think about the five years that have passed so quickly and my bank account still doesn't have that much. But when I look at my portfolio, I'm happy to look at it every time even if the market isn't that good at all, there's an increase on it, thanks to DCA.
It's hard and tough to be consistent into accumulation but if you've been there and saw the early sell offs that you've done personally, you'll be eager to have some more and will push for it if you believe on this market.

To be honest, I still can't say that I've been successful in this crypto business, moreover I still haven't been able to make optimal use of the crypto business. In fact, I had missed 2 bullish periods almost in vain because my expectations were too high at that time, so I couldn't even take profits from some of the coins that I held at that time while the market continued to fall until now. It is undeniable that I have also made profits from crypto, but not extraordinary and on target. Hence this made me a great lesson due to the overly high expectations during 2 bullish periods. It would be better if I set some selling price targets so that at least I can feel the profits from the long term holding itself.

I can say that since 2017, there have been positive developments in my life thanks to the forum. The forum taught me what it feels like to experience economic freedom. So here i am grateful. But i also had experiences that i wouldn't want to live because of my mistakes. Thanks to the campaigns, i started saving and everything was going well. I was only trading on the spot market and was patient. I would always realize profit realization when i reached the targets i set in the bull market. In this way, i was getting closer to my goals step by step. But after a while i lost my sense of satisfaction and decided to try futures. I can say that I lost almost all of my savings because i started futures experiments ignorantly. An ignorant futures attempt in a bull market can ruin your life. I closed the Futures ledger so that it would not open. Now i act like a patient bear, trying to reach my goals wisely rather than quickly.

During these 5 years, I have experienced many changes from having nothing to being a little better. I've only been active in crypto trading so far, but there have always been gains and losses sometimes, but for me it's normal and luckily I soon got up to forget it all. There aren't many stories that I can share, but I'm sure every experience, no matter how small, will be invaluable for moving forward in the future.

I think it is the same story and we share the same measure of scam to it. Investing in Ponzi scheme is a scam already because it will eventually fail. Also back in the past ICO was all over the place and investing on it then seem like it was a sure way to financial independence but it never happened, it all ended in scam. This is the story so far but there is still light at the end because some investment still give you hope for increase soon during the bitcoin bull.

I’m on a better situation now though problem is still there but I can say that I already know how to solve it and I’m confident that I can survive on every trial, I guess bear market really helps me to be better. Trading is very challenging on a very volatile market like cryptocurrency but once you already have a good strategy and know how to approach the market, you will not worry anymore about your losses.

I remember those bad old days that the main thing that drags me on here on this space is via into those hyip and ponzis but on the time that i did gain up some knowledge then im thriving to accumulate some coins.

Although there are really times or moments that i do make out some snipping out of those funds and buy something that i do want.So far i had able to buy my own car which is fully paid cash out of crypto earning
plus having other properties like house or something like that.

This is why i could really say that my life had soo much improved wayback in the last 5 years which im very that thankful for this opportunity.

The past five years have been full of gains and losses. I was not yet aware of bitcointalk back then, although I became aware of crypto in 2018, but I had little interest because I was doing some side hustles and furthering my education. I lost a couple of bucks with scam airdrops and a few shitcoins. In 2020, I lost a huge amount of money to a scam Forex trading company in my country that promised a 40% ROI per month. I also had a small business I was running then, but I lost everything due to the pandemic. In 2021, I made a huge profit from an altcoin that is not doing very well now and also profited from Bitcoin that same year.
I now have a funitur business since last year, and it's doing so well that it has allowed me to accumulate some bitcoin last year compared to 2020 and 2021.

Yeah, and it's not a scam like those that we've seen and those pump-and-dump altcoins that we probably managed to have in our portfolios. I'm happy that I've kept still a lot in bitcoin and now regretting that I've used a few from my original holdings just to buy those altcoins that did become nearly as of typing this. We're all hopeful to the bull run and we don't know when it's going to happen but most likely, after the halving which is we're just 1 year and a couple of months far.

One thing I learned the most in the past 5 years is having a great patience. Crypto is a long term game and I understand it by failing so many times because of how short my patience back then. I've lost couple of opportunity because of my unwillingness to have and short temper. But yeah I've learned on how to do trading properly and absolutely increase my patience that I've bring in real life. With the improvement of my control over my assets, It is the same time I earn somehow good enough in my trades. The portfolio I have today is significantly greater than my portfolio I have 5 years ago. To be honest, The past 5 years is too fast! I didn't realize that 2017 is 5 years ago LOL!

Im guilty with this one on which i have lots of shit coins inside my bag specially on erc20 specially into those times where ICO run is really the main thing which everything is hyped up,
but seeing the value of those coins and trying to check it out on which i do make myself that get depressed because of it but there's no other way to deal up with things but to move on.
Doesnt matter if we've been able to commit out those mistakes in the past, the important thing on here is that you do learn out of those experiences and make yourself much more
wiser and aware on how things do works.

Patience is the key, which means long-term trades. I can relate to your experience, I also tried day/short trading, but I didn't have a lot of success (or it's better to say I was losing a lot of coins), so after switching to long-term trades and making a few very nice hits, I discovered what works a lot better for me.
As you say, crypto is a long-term game, in the end, it's here to stay and make crazy swings from time to time, we just need to be patient and try to catch them.

I have gained a lot from the crypto market over the past year, which has allowed me to make independent decisions. But I have not only gained in the market, I have also lost a lot. I lost a lot due to the recent Luna incident but also learned from that mistake which will be useful in the future. Everything I have gained has been done by trading in favor of the market trend. But due to unexpected mistakes I had to face huge losses but after that I am happy that I have gained a lot from here. I accept that if I can accumulate experience from my mistakes and use them later to avoid making the same mistakes again.

A smart person differs from a stupid one in that he draws conclusions from his mistakes. It's like steps that allow you to climb higher and higher. I hope you will reach new highs this year.

I’ve had my fair share of losses and gains, so I think those were significant experiences as well. Because if we are in trading, we are not only after with increasing our profits, but also developing the skills and strategies that will help us to do successful trades than losing them. And over the past 5 years, I must say that although I’m not in a stable position in trading, but the experiences I have gained are much more than that enough to realized that money is not the only way to make us happy, but also being emotionally and physically fit as well.

I don't trade like the way I used to trade before because of my tight schedule but I could remember that in all my trading history, I don't think I have ever made any loses in everything combined. Trading is never easy so we just have to be very careful on how to execute trades anyhow because the market does not works the way we think.
My trading history was not too comfortable for me at the initial time when I started trading and until I learnt something from my mentor on his on strategy which later helped to understand how the market moves without much thinking.

I would be  hella depressed if I lose everything, lol.

I would not call it "success" since there is no conclusion yet here in my end, but so far so good and my profits were "more than what I expected". Back in 2017-2018, I do have a lot of losses when I attempted to trade though and I just call it quits there since it ain't just worth it for my time plus my money.

One notable part of the "so far so good" for me was that when Bitcoin reached 64k just couple of years ago.

Five years may not be enough to say I gained a lot of profits, as I have been working on this for over 5 years now. But it’s not just success that I am after of, but rather the best experiences that have taught me to be a successful trader and to always learn everyday as it will make me more of a good trader. However, with all those 5 years trading, I also experienced a lot of failures and losses that almost made me decide to just quit from trading and just focus on investing, but I just realized that failures are normal, and that losing is expected, the reason why I keep on moving forward by learning on my mistakes every now and then.

I tried hard to be a trader and thought of becoming a day trader. I was convinced that if others can do it, so do I. But reality strucked me that it's not really an easy thing.

Whether I've got free or tight schedule, it's not that easy for me to be at best with it. I still trade but just as you, I didn't trade anymore that I did before because I indulged into losses thinking that they're all gonna be a learning lesson someday.

And that's the lesson that I've come to realize that it's not for everybody and I should be good being a casual trader and more of an investor.

Those were the day's man when we used to pick anything that we think will be hyped by its own market. And then it has come to reach that point but we never sold because we're too greedy and think that there's more to it until it's already forgotten and the value has dropped and we're no longer onto that point that we're in profit because something bad has already happened to it and most likely abandoned. Those were the expensive lessons that we've learned from being one.

So starting from 2018? I had managed to make more money then before in my whole life in start of 2018. Could be way more if i just holded my btc and eth but anyway...

I didn't see how hard would the crash in 2018 was going to be and hodled most of the coins to the ground. I was quite happy that i managed to buy lots of stuff i needed in the bullrun so i wasn't regretting anything even if everything would crash and burn. I could have saved a lot of money just by keeping it in usdt, but i started investing, which seemed weird totally waste of time in the bear run.

Somewhere in 2019 i bought nfts with rest of the money i got left. It wasn't much but that would end up making me a lot of money. It was a gamble, i know they would be bigger then ico frenzy ever was, but i didn't know what of they would be worth anything.

I had found out my friends were into altcoins too and we changed some ideas and i benefit a lot from their weird new instinct on what to invest.

I didn't worry that i hadn't any money left. I had risen from $200 before and i could do it again because i trusted in myself. And i wasn't wrong. Next bull run took me nearly back to the ath again. But i was spending a lot too. Partying and my expensive hotel lifestyle made sure that i wouldn't have much left at the end. And end of the bull got me by surprise AGAIN. I was waiting for some fundemental events to happen but they didn't matter when the market crashed. I once again lost money. And now i'll make it back again. At least this time i've been sober now and can actually save money.

I haven't been able to achieve success like other people who can make a lot of money from crypto. But it's true, I've achieved some of the goals I wanted and I'm pursuing other targets. My account balance increases and decreases in line with the increasing needs of life, but I always try to work hard to meet the needs of my life and that of my family.

And I'm not as good as people who can increase their account balance drastically but I can only try little by little to increase my account balance so that later I can make big profits like other people. I know it will take time and luckily, I can collect more in these moments.

unfortunately, I haven't known crypto that long. I haven't collected too many altcoins in these 2 years. but I have enough Bitcoin which keeps increasing. I am lucky to see and feel how the crypto market dynamics are moving. this is an extraordinary opportunity for us to continue to invest and build a future.
unfortunately, I had to give up some altcoins in the middle of last year for my needs. however, I can not hold everything continuously. maybe that's God's way to ease my burden when I'm in trouble and I happen to have crypto assets that I can rely on.

You did the right thing, yes you left the altcoins and you still hold the bitcoins in your wallet. Don't think too much that you don't have altcoins, because actually holding bitcoin is better than altcoins. I'm not trying to say that holding altcoins is bad, but holding bitcoins is way better.
To be honest, I also only have a few altcoins and I did that in a relatively short period of time (looking for profits in a short time), but I hold bitcoins which are fairly decent for me, and I'm very grateful for that.

if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience
I agree with this point. Every investment may return us some profit or experience. But, there would be no point on harvesting only experiences out of subsequent attempts because if you are suitable for investing then you can get profits by making use of the experiences, you got from your prior investment attempts. But, there are unique opportunity with bitcoin investment to avoid bitter experiences as there are methods available to to see only profits.

I mean, those who opted bitcoin with long term goals, must have got chances to increase their deposits (still they got experiences but not from losses). Bitcoin is a deflationary asset and your investment will grow for 5x to 10x for every four years. Choose bitcoin investments with proper plans and avoid frustrating experiences.

For the past 5 years with crypto, I already experienced a lot from making a profit in an instant and lose at the same time.
It has a been a great journey without any regrets because Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, changed my life for the better. I can say that my first two years was the best moment because that is the time of bull market but then after that, the market started to corrects and many panicked already, that's the time I missed the opportunity to sell at profit. A significant affect with crypto to me is that, I'm more confident now to deal with the market and I'm not afraid anymore to take the risk.

In the past few years, I can say that I have taken lots of risks and it went all well for me so far. I invested in hyped coins despite their issues and made a good profit from them and when I sold them during their pump, I bought potential coins like Bitcoin, Etheteum, and BNB and made a good profit from them again. I cashed out the profit and reinvested during the bearish season. That has been my crypto routine which I think is an effective personal strategy for me.

Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.
Have lost quite a lot during 2018-2019 era where the price was crashed really hard to ground that no one would expect on that day including me when I was new at that day. But, in bright side I take that incident as experience so I can fully prepare when such thing happens again in the future.

It's not just cryptocurrency that unites us all. We all became different after we learned about her, and went deeper into her knowledge. And now, even if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience, and you can share it.
For me it's not about increasing my deposit, but how well do I rotate my money between trading expanses and my daily needs. Until today I learn a lot about this topic with my own money and how do I make it.

I have get experience in last five years in these years the market behave differently and I think that a person should know that market does not persist low for long term but instead it gives us a chance to enhance our knowledge and do better work in future .

I get much money in cryptocurrency but I participated in some projects and does not get anything in result because lots of projects become fack they do not allow income to its participants. Previous year was harsh and I get little bit income in Previous year because market was not well.

For the past 5 years I have struggled to keep increasing my bitcoin investments. Some of the bitcoins I got I'm holding for the long term until now. But there are some that I sell for my needs. The balance has increased even more than 5 years ago because of the extraordinary increase. Long term investing in bitcoin is very profitable.

Besides that, I also trade altcoins when the market gives bullish signs and the price of Bitcoin is stable. Besides that, my income is also obtained from signature campaigns and I still hold it for the long term.

I have done many things. I have switched two R&D's by this time. I learned more things about bitcoin, bitcoin mining, various stuff on this forum and learned how I can make more money with freelance work and with that I kick started pencil artwork services. I earned more than enough money with the time and also adopted more skills in the long run. This gave me greater opportunities to earn and also increased my artwork stakes in various fields.

These years also included the covid phases so during that period I gained more exposure on crypto, increased my alt mining and few other types of crypto investments which later turned into scams. Got into signature campaigns and earning decent money with it, really thanks to this forum.

In the field of cryptocurrencies, self-development means more earnings. And plus, the more recent the information that you have found and captured, the more money it is. It is on your example that I feel that you are also discovering yourself.

Of course, the more successful a person is in developing his abilities, the better way he will get opportunities. The market is constantly evolving, and traders are also getting smarter, the way they operate in the market is not always the same, some do it around different time zones, while others do the opposite.

But about your question on the OP, I don't have a long story, but I got something meaningful in the market since 2017 and now. It's not much, but I'm able to get enough of what I want, and I'm grateful for it.

I’ve had it all, losses and winnings that made me more experienced in trading. And with those past 5 years, my experiences in trading also created a better version of me not only in the side of crypto, but in all aspects in life. Though I won’t say my balance has increased a lot because there are fair share of losses too, but I think my accumulated experiences in crypto trading are worth more than any profits in trading.

Instant profit really? Cool but I think that must be trading or if not then gambling as investing takes time to bear profits. Actually you aren't alone with that. I too experience it. It happens because we got greedy and we want to earn more but the result will always be a loss.

I hope you now learn to be contented on what did you make and you now withdraw it and spend it so that you will never get tempted again to gamble for more. But, you must be lying when you say that you aren't regretting anything because some of your sentence clearly states that you have a regret. Well, we all do have that because we don't know what BTC cant do in the past but now it's clear to us that BTC is only a volatile crypto.

Upon checking this Month is my 5th year with cryptomarket and It was a meaningful 5 years of experience which I can say a total success already for me. There are losses yes but I focus more on my winnings because I was able to buy the things that I dreamed for, and was able to travel locally. Cryptocurrency gives more meaning to my life over the past 5 years, and I’m forever grateful with this. Now, I’m looking forward for a more rewarding years which I believe is about to happen again.

I feel like I've been able to increase my account balance over the past few years because I can profit from selling the coins I buy at low prices. After that gain, I bought bitcoin, especially when the price hit a low yesterday. But I also bought some other coins, not only bitcoin, because I feel that the next season of altcoins can give me big returns again.

But I can't collect more bitcoins due to capital constraints to buy lots of bitcoins, and that means success is still far away from me, but I'm still trying to get there. But that's okay because I still have time to be able to have a lot of bitcoins. And I am happy that I can feel the change in my life with cryptocurrencies.

5 years is certainly not a short time and you certainly have a lot of extraordinary experience during these 5 years,
it is also not easy for someone to survive that long in the crypto market,
what is clear is that success requires hard work and trust in the process.

Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.

I started in the crypto with zero knowledge and zero balance. I joined many Faucet and Those Bitcoin wallet whose offer free BTC. I made  more than 100$ at start and then later I start trading and Luck was with me that My hundred dollars turned into a 7k$. I start staking these with Cake token and made good profit from here also. I took parts in some IDO,s also but most of project failed and I lost some portfolio here.
Golden periods for me was the year of 2021 and first 6 month of 2022 where I made big amount in trading and buying meme coins But regret this did not last long and I lost 3k$ in single day in trading. Some meme coin rugpul and I lost here also. Then I used half of remaining $ into Axie but Slp price dumped hard and I lost almost 2k$ here.
In short I did not Invest my own $ but but I made more than 10k$ and then lost almost 6k$ so total profit I made from crypto is 4k$. This is my short story till today and I hope that in the future I will have a good profit .

In total, if I hadn't spent it all, I already earned like 3-5 BTC from just signature campaigns and altcoin signature campaign. I've spent too much money on buying branded clothes, eating expensive foods because I didn't have the opportunity to have those when I was just a kid. I also tried trading after altcoin signature campaigns always turned out to be shitcoins, spot trading and futures trading. I could say that I'm not fitted on futures so I only do spot trading now.

I have so many things as a remembrance of good old days where we all earn a lot from signature campaign. So I didn't regret anything at all. In my conclusion, Bitcoin always help me in my everyday life.

I would say a neutral experience. This because I made a lot of money in 2021 by selling Bitcoin at 60.000 dollars and I was happy with it,I invested the major part of it in mining gear and equipment but since the end of 2021 up until now we have been mining at a loss most of the time and as such I am again in the point of starting.Of course I would love to be alive after 5 years and answering this same question with what these coins that I have mined will be in value after the next bull run and if all goes well most likely I would have increased my balance a lot but right now I am completely at a neutral point.

In the last five years i have not just grown in crypto trading but also in acquiring other skills. In Crypto trading i haven't made that massive wealth other professional traders have but one thing i can boast of is that my trading account keep funding my bills through the little profit i accumulate. Another interesting thing here is that because i am able to manage my profit from trading i can now save and invest from what ever earning i get through signature campaign and my other job which i do remotely.

Op, I know this is your topic and you reserve the right to create whatever topic you like. But I have a question, why the choice of 5yrs?
Is 5yrs the benchmark to have enough experience to share?
Some persons might not have lasted upto 5yrs in this industry but have gathered some good knowledge worthy to be shared.

Its not that necessarily for it to be 5 years and its true that even a couple of years would really be just that enough or would really be that sufficient if we do speak about learning experience and skills that had been

acquired which is something that would really be the typical stuff.Success could neither be achieved or acquired on last 5 years or not because the solid indication that you do see yourself to have that improved
is that you do able to acquire something that you dont able to acquire before and now you are experiencing out those things. We know that dealing up with this market isnt something that you could be able to
handle it out easily specially if its really that unpredictable. We are all thriving on having that good life in terms of finances and some sort of it but its true that not all would able to achieve that.

Trading for the past 5 years is fun and very challenging, I already experience every trend of this market from the bottom up to the peak, made some profit already and losses a lot of opportunities as well. I has been a crazy five years active trading and investing, until now I'm still hoping for my lucky break where I can finally say that I succeed in cryptomarket. Winning trades should be more consistent, I'm actually expecting to earn more this year as the market recovers. For the next 5 years, I hope I will become more successful and reach my goals.

I admit the Crypto space has taken a lot of my time since I joined it in 2016, and that affected the other sides of my life, but I can't be regretful, simply because Crypto has given a great boost to my financial status. I can just tell you that I hold Bitcoin since it was below $1000, Ether below $50. In addition, I bought and sold many of the other assets. Despite the financial benefits, this space gave me a lot of life-changing lessons, whereas I tried the feelings of losing a lot of money, earning a lot, getting scammed, and knowing who to trust. People who were here at the end of 2017 know what I'm talking about. However, I think I need to learn more as this domain is in continuous development.

Well I have to say it was good, and then not so great :D I have made some good income, and I have made some profit, but I am not the type that could wait until its a million dollars, I am the type of guy who would spend any money he gets in profit, because I like to live a little and basically just enjoy life. I haven't spent it on things that didn't matter though, like I do not have a brand new iPhone 14 or something, no, I like to spend it on things that would make me happy and basically going places and having fun times with friends and such. There were also unexpected stuff like death and sickness, but never made a debt, so I am pretty ok about that. Still not rich, but living very "rich" compared to what could have been if I never met bitcoin.

There would really be sacrifices but i cant say it would be that a sacrifice considering that you are doing on whats for the best and you do know that you could potentially able to make money and this is why it is

really just normal that you would really be that going into that path if you do really want to have that kind of situation which you would wish for.For those people who had been hovering around crypto for how many years and did still stay up even upto this moment which does mean that they do see some progress in related into their financial status which is something that would really be targeting in the first place.
Its still not too late for those people who had just recently kicked in or do make out involvement into cryptospace on which there's still time for such making money or some
profitable opportunity.

But the good thing is I know how to manage my capital and risk management. Preserving capital is always important when you are trading, you need to protect always your capital.

I have been in the market for more than 5 years, I am not as rich as many others, but I want to say thank you to Satoshi and bitcoin. Thanks to bitcoins, my life has also improved, although during my years in the market, I also lost a lot. The thing that I find myself most successful in since investing in bitcoin is that it has forged in me patience, not rushing in the market as well as in life. It can be said that since learning patience, I have achieved a lot of success in investing and in life.

Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.
Signature campaigns and my current job.

These 2 are the reasons why I increased my overall asset portfolio in the past 5 years. It didn't increase value wise because we just suffered a year of hell again last year, but in terms of amount, I slowly accumulated different assets from stocks to crypto to bonds because it's on a sale and when it's on a sale? People tend to buy more because it's cheaper right? :).

Luckily, I didn't lose anything. I'm just accumulating and accumulating and accumulating because I'm a long term investor. I'm still at my 20's, but I'm starting to transfer my assets into some assets that can give me dividends for the long term. I want to experience the life where dividends will pay my monthly bills. It will take a long time, but I know it's possible. I don't know if what I did in the past 5 years is considered a success for some, but having assets that will appreciate in the long run is already a success for me and I will continue doing it.

Right now, I'm trying to trade again in futures using small amount only.

It's not just cryptocurrency that unites us all. We all became different after we learned about her, and went deeper into her knowledge. And now, even if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience, and you can share it.

I got into the crypto space in 2016 and I can say it has helped me a lot, but not as much as others who can make a lot of money. I took a break for a few years and then returned. My point is that if we haven't jumped into the crypto space way back five years ago, we are still starting from scratch right now, and it will take us another five years to gain the knowledge that we possess now. No matter how small or big our knowledge is, it is still of huge benefit to us as it opens an opportunity to earn profit.

Both knowledge and skills are very important because they are valuable capital to enter into the crypto space,
to get it I think we need to learn and it takes a process too,
trading or investing in crypto is very complex so it is necessary to prepare a lot of things.

I have made a lot of money from this bitcoin forum in the last five years. I used to have one job during these five years but I quit that job during COVID-19. I used to invest my bitcoin forum earnings while working. Then lost all the money invested in Luna due to the Luna platform scam. I haven't invested since then. What i earn now has to be used to manage the family. Can't use any money to invest now.

It's really hard to give a short answer here, because I invest in so many different things over the years. The question is also are you only looking at trades that are completed and lead to a profit or also active positions which are meant to be held for a long time. Bitcoins is one example of assets that I have sold in the past but are not going to do again. So it doesn't really matter if bitcoin is up or down 20% as I will keep holding. The same is with a real estate fund that I have for 15 years already, they pay a decent dividend each year and I will probably never sell it. Overall I think my portfolio is up 40%, where cryptos and stocks make up the biggest part. I lost money with stocks in the last year but my crypto coins are covering that loss.

You are very right mate, looking at what has been done in the past five years. So proud of my achievement in the past years been into the crypto space. I'm learning every single day in the market, with good improves on myself and expanding my knowledge in the space which is actually one of good things one should exhibits daily. I'm also grateful to knowing about bitcoin earlier and knowing the key basis of the entire strategy of bitcoin inother to gain profits in the space. Although every single experience is either good or worst according to the market structure, the bear and bull season. I've made good profits, heavy loss in the market, it's very sad to lost every single usdt I invested in Luna, when the project dumped, I was one of the victims, then and only I learnt not to invest in all projects but be selective and it should be backup with undercover research.

I recently got hooked on Cryptocurrency. But in these short days I have gained a lot of knowledge about Cryptocurrency and gained a lot of experience that will help me in the future.  But in these few days I have been trading with various coins and I have achieved fair success. But I have a future plan.  After making some money trading I will invest in Bitcoin for a long time. Since I don't have any significant experience or success in the last 5 years, I hope to achieve success in Cryptocurrency in the next 5 years. And I always try to learn something new. This effort will lead me to success.

When I'm calm i will brief my story.

I started working online in 2020.  And from there trading started getting good profit in 2021 and my portfolio got big.  And I was successful in all trading.
And come 2022 I lost all my wealth and portfolio becomes empty.  The place where I lost my assets was Luna Crush, FTX, I lost my assets due to these two platforms being destroyed from the market.  Thus thousands of people like me have taken to the streets now my current situation is very bad.

It's not just cryptocurrency that unites us all. We all became different after we learned about her, and went deeper into her knowledge. And now, even if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience, and you can share it.

I created my account at the end October 18 of 2022.  If I have some more resources I will go back to my past work.  By trading and holding long term, I will continue to gain benefits.  I hope to have my portfolio home again.

There would be no ratio in between to those who had succeed or to those who had failed but pretty sure that there are people who had been wrekt and become a millionaire.
We do know that there's a losing and winning side when we do talk about investment not only limited to cryptocurrency but also in other industries as well.
We cant make out some conclusions on whose more than with those numbers, the thing here is that you do know for yourself on which side you are included in.
Doesnt need to make out some elaboration but im much sure that im on the profiting side.

And it was a great opportunity for me to see another opportunity last year December 2022, that made me to invested a huge amount of money on stablcoin that will bring me something huge before the end of this year 2023. I believe, before the end of this year, I will still achieve many favour from my investment because there are some signs that showed, market price will soon hit another level for traders to smile again.

Gain some and lose some, overall still crypto gave me a lot of profit from the airdrop when it was still profitable and now earn from signature campaigns and save a few percent when can get profit from trading or also gambling, but for trading I have changed from daytrade to long term hold because this is more calm as long as it is not done on altcoins.

success, friend, actually there is no way to measure if we want to get to know crypto, but even though it's only been 2 years your development is very impressive and you keep moving to keep getting better.
indeed the heyday of the bounty was clearly in 2017 and now it is not good but we hope that there will be changes again.

what you are doing by continuing to hold bitcoins from the results of signature campaigns is of course very good because in a situation like this there is no alternative but to wait for the era of the bull market to come, so that what is held can be maximized.
it's not easy what you do and of course this is an achievement in itself and appreciation for your work.

hopefully later I want to hear stories from you when you have entered a bull market.

Actually many people here give their sweet experienced about how success achievement in cryptocurrency whatever past 5 years or still know about cryptocurrency under two years. Almost difficult finding with some people sharing about how much their loss after investing and know with cryptocurrency however how long know with Bitcoin.

I think should balanced between sharing success achievement in cryptocurrency over 5 years or not with how much loss since invest in Bitcoin or altcoin. Could be comparison thing by newcomer when investing in Bitcoin and they don't see any success achievement history only but also he can read about bad experienced when investing in Bitcoin.

That’s still a success for you knowing you never have to face financial struggles especially in unforeseen events like sickness or death. At least, your finances become stable when you start trading crypto. However, for me, I have made good profits with the last 5 years in crypto but never enough to make me become rich since I also spend my profits helping my family and relatives especially those who are really struggling with their finances. Although sometimes I also reward myself buying some luxury items, but I guess the profits I made mostly in crypto are used to provide the basic needs of my family. That alone made me happy, and for me that’s already a successful achievement.

Some people are too silent but some people are also proud of their achievements in life. Might OP don't have any good experience which makes him silent or solicit opinions and stories just to boost his courage and motivation? Or this could change his mindset and make him believe that investing in crypto is a good investment, not a failure. Then he could start planning what he gonna do next and can show us as well his achievements in the future.

I do have that bitter experience on the time that i was just still starting up on which i have lost some significant amount of money investing on Ponzi investment which i do believe that it could make me rich but

that wasnt the case or giving out another result or outcome. This is where i do really make myself that gaining experience on which it did really help me out into my future endeavors and goals which im trying out to achieve.I could really that say that i have seen some progress which i do consider out myself on the positive side all over the 5 years.I had able to bring back those losses and earn more
than on that via trading. This isnt somehow an easy journey since i do have lost money when im still half-way.

And I think these are really some great achievements in my life, as I only started from a scratch until I make use all my experiences gained and turn them being profitable. Although I have also endure losses every now and them, but I’m more thankful because I a more blessed with profits than losses.

In the past 5 years, I probably have not increased my crypto currency portfolio in any significant way, but I am really happy with the progress I've made and still making beginning from 2022 which is last year..
I discovered a good project and invested in it early enough, though I am still holding and waiting for the maximum profit, but I am happy because even if I decide to sell it now, I've made more than x800 what I initially invested, so this really is a good achievement for me so far, and I am also hoping that this is year, 2023 and the coming years would be truly great and memorable.

In investing there will be wins and losses, you can't expect to win all the time, so there's no need to be sad. The important thing is that we will learn valuable lessons from it and find a way to recover the lost money or even make more money. All these are experiences we must go through to find the right path, I have also lost a lot of money on Ponzi projects and shitcoins, and since then, I realized that only bitcoin is the best investment in this market, I was not affected by the fall of Luna or FTX. In investing, no one wants their investment to lose, but we need to accept the truth to move on, losing 1, winning 10 is still winning.

Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything?
For the past years I can say I gained in my journey doing trades and investing in crypto. My portfolio doesn't increase like what others did because everytime there's a chance to profit I never hesitate to do it, and this strategy works for me as I gain than losing.

Before I became aware about crypto I lose a lot because of scammers, it's also my fault for being greedy. That's why my decision to engage myself in crypto has paid off because this is where I recover my losses. Currently I have Bitcoin and few alts in my portfolio, it's not much but good enough for the coming bullish season.

The process is the most important thing here, even if you lose as long as you did everything according to your strategy and you had verified your strategy over the long term then it does not matter if you lose a few trades.

But I must recognize this is difficult to master as many traders hate losing, and once they do they immediately try to make a bunch of trades to recover the money they lost, but even if this can be achieved a few times eventually they will lose several times in a row, and that is when major mistakes happen as traders can get desperate by failing so many times to produce profits with their trades that they abandon their strategy just when they need to follow it the most.

The process is how we manage our self-patience and continue to learn which takes a lot of time,
regarding losing I think it is part of the process in trading so just enjoy it and we can learn from it,
when you lose several times, of course it's not easy and only we ourselves can determine that.

During these five years I have missed a lot of momentum that if only I could capitalize on it it was possible for me to make a big profit, but unfortunately luck was not on my side and I didn't give up despite in previous years not being able to capitalize on every momentum properly but I am optimistic that there will still be better momentum in 2024 when the bull market comes and I will not repeat the same mistakes as the previous year because past failures have become very valuable lessons for me.

Hopefully you are not alone because I was as well not able to find time to capitalise all the available opportunities in this crypto space. But overall, when comparing what I have been saving before 5 years and right now must be having very big differences and all thanks to bitcoin investment and opting for long term holding. This is really unbelievable thing because I have missed a lots of opportunities that I would have used to make huge profits still I got significant improvement in my saving just because of bitcoin holding; the real power of long term bitcoin holding must be powerful than cumulative interest rates.

When we do talk about missed opportunities then majority of us did really missed out that chance because there are things which are supposed to be dealt up first specially when we do have priorities in life which we do really need up some funds on which you cant really save up that much and this is the case that happened to me.If i had able to save up those coins that i do have in the past five years then i might
already be that rich but well priorities will be always first and you dont have any choice but to move on and still not stop to make up some savings for it to be for long term.

Honestly I never had any regrets since joining the crypto sphere in 2017 it's journey that really worth it because of various opportunities abound in cryptos, infact I had learnt a lot in many areas of cryptos particularly in tradin,  I indeed traded some cryptos and had mixed results, there was a period that I am always analyzing Binance trading charts while trading and gained a lot of experience and skills learnt in cryptos deployed to forex trading, though I had not really increase my deposit to a level of contentment, however I still trying hard to gain more knowledge and experience in trading thereafter start investing my profits earned.

Having been here for five years, of course you have a lot of experience and there is no need to doubt it,
hopefully indeed in 2024 the bull market will really come so that it can take advantage of the momentum,
the most important thing is to keep trying and preparing so you don't experience failure again.

Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.

I would say it's a fruitful for me in the last 5 years in crypto, specially in bull run wherein you will really profit big if you know how to save (just like today, as we are still in the bear market). And what able to provide food for my family besides from my usual 9-5 office job.

For sure majority of us here profit big money as well. There were even some who quit their job and focus on crypto.

But for me, I can't do that, I will still have to have a job, a regular one, because I have said, in crypto we have bears and bulls, so it won't be the same every time and not consistent money flowing in.

in the five past 5 year the crypto journey has been a journey of lost and gain, these are experience that has widen my knowledge concerning crypto and has taught me the good step to go about crypto investment. 2 years ago I joined the forum which has really helped me in accumulating bitcoin.  The mistakes and risks I experienced all through my crypto journey is part of my success story,  because I don't think I can make this far without mistakes.

I agree that it is not just about time measurement but more like information. If you truly understand what crypto is all about, you will never have to work in an office ever again. That doesn't mean you will make profit from trading right away, of course you won't have that on day 1, but if you understand the logic, you will realize that there is money to be made in crypto, and there is money to be invested.

So you can work from your home, doing something in the crypto world to earn your salary, keep some of it in crypto, and in 10-20 years you will be a wealthy person. I have been doing that, and I will keep doing that for a long time and I am sure I will do alright.

I think in my portfolio I have saved the same amount that used to do last year and repeated the same every year for the last five. However, I did crash a lot during the pandemic because had to cash out multiple times to provide the emergency care when we had nothing in our hands in the form of salaries. That one was little set Back for me and my family. However, it made me realised that savings play a huge role in our lives and that’s why we should increase the share of savings a lot as compared to what we throw in expenses. Similar to other fellow members here I wouldn’t measure my success in terms of five years, but what I have today and how I have managed my money over the time.

I remember those covid years or pandemic ones which it did really result for us to cash out specially that we do need to buy more in speaking of goods and necessities plus other medical related things.
We did survive but it really much more costly or having more expenses which would result to get more into our investment or holdings.

Im not regretting since this is bound or serve its purpose.Whom you are saving into? Its for emergency and other things you do have in mind.It is really putting you into a situation
where you are really that confident since you do know that you have funds that something you could able to make use of.

I have nit been that consistent in the market that is why I don't think I have a big success story like everyone.
Bitcoin have been my favorite cryptocurrency that I have been holding and I have one of the large quantity in my portfolio because I know that Bitcoin has large control of the market than any altcoin. I have some altcoin but Bitcoin is my favorite for now and we should make it our biggest asset. There are so many rug pull in the altcoin market that can make us lose a big money if we become scammed and rug pulled.

Well, a person who dedicates himself 100% to trading and in a term of 5 years may have learned a lot or a little depending on how his way of seeing trading has been, at least in my case I have not dedicated myself much, because I don't know how to operate With the large number of fundamentals that there are, one is the covid, another is the war that is going on between Russia and Ukraine, now it is not known what can happen because those problems still persist, and they can worsen or create new ones and that makes many investors not confuse and they can sell quickly making everything change. Mushrooms are something that can happen and that we as a trader should take into account.

The journey has not been smooth all the way and so it is not about 5 years because our experiences are different. Before I started getting the positive results I initially made so many mistakes that got me always down on toes, this is why the journey is not easy. It has been alot of mistake from keeping shit coins and trading wrongly but with wisdom I have grown to understand a little more above what I knew about the market for now.

Currently, the market does not show a good price movement, and of course, we know how volatile it is, so better to make a plan even though it's on the lower of the support to ensure you can prevent the possible losses increase. If you have the chance for a token or asset accumulation, do as possible, it's for a good long run in the future. Currently, it's my 2nd year in the crypto space, and for me, it's all going well because of having proper management.

The key on here is to invest on the amount that you can afford to lose or something that you arent relying when it comes to those times in need or something that doesnt really affect you mainly.
Market could really be bitter sometimes and also it cant move that much for you to rely with your crypto earning. This is why the best thing to be done is not to make yourself that going all in with investment not only on crypto but also in other industries as well.

We are trying or doing our best to have multiple sources and we are trying and striving our best to have a financially freedom type of living or life. This is why we do work
and we are really that wise when it comes to investment.

I got introduced to crypto in 2021. So I guess I don't have much experience like others who are in this field for a long time. When the market was in a bull trend, I made a good amount of profit. Now my balance is less than what it was back then. But I am trying to make a strong savings with what I have now. And they are in Bitcoin. So when the time will come, I think my portfolio will look better than before, that's for sure. Now it's just a matter of waiting for that moment.

We have seen many success stories related to cryptocurrency, but those who have lost their money have already left the forum and will not be able to tell us their story. And what kind of story can the OP tell, who obviously, because of his inherent modesty, decided to keep silent.
That could be some possible reasons too why he let us share ours so he can change his mindset and his way of dealing his investments so that he can be as successful like us in the future. Or it might be that he’s just too humble not to brag his successes for the past 5 years, but I think we can do bragging too in a positive way, that is to inspire newbies that there is fortune in crypto investments so they should work on it with hardwork and determination.
