Title: Warning CrownChange.net is likely scam. Fake bestchange partnership
Post by: JeromeTash on January 28, 2023, 10:20:35 PM
What happened: Exchange claims to have a partnership with Bestchange which is false. They also created and used sock puppet accounts to shill the suspicious exchange.

This thread will act as a reference link for the trust flag against the exchange

They have live chat and I chat with one of their representatives to know more about their scam

Another lie:

Code:
Domain:crownchange.net
Registrar:REGISTRAR OF DOMAIN NAMES REG.RU LLC
Registered On:2022-10-13
Expires On:2023-10-13
Updated On:2022-10-14

I do not know how an exchange would have a domain name just 2 months old to have been existing for many years, big lie.

It is a scam exchange.

Not only do they claim to have a partnership to bestexchange but they also claim to have partnerships with some of the top exchange and online wallets in the industry.

For them to have a partnership on these top exchange and online wallets in the industry they should have the Crownchange logo on their page also but it's unlikely they will be a partner in a two-month exchange, this alone give them away as a scam exchange, you never lie about your partnership.

It is easy to buy a script and program it to look like this site. I remember seeing dozens of sites that have a similar interface, and therefore, with a low budget, the fraudster can create dozens of similar sites, and I expect that this is what he did.

What will happen if we report these accounts?
Wouldn't it be banned because it's spam. it was not created for the purpose of discussions, but rather to pump the topic.

If there is someone in the Russian local board, with a little research they will find some similar platforms.

Not sure but there are high chances that they won't get nuked just like I have seen other bump accounts in ANN threads so I usually prefer tagging them incase the moderators don't do anything to the accounts

Some of  the elements to make this platform a scam are here, fake partnerships, and newbies created to shill the announcement, since the thread and the platform is already reported it ends there is no need to do anything
but it's good if DTs will tag these newbie accounts, I don't see the promoter and his bunch of shills will go back to pump their announcement now that they are exposed.

Yes, this is a scam exchange platform. They put these partnerships on their site to reassure investors that they are a legit exchange. It is good that they did not delete the reviews page on the CrownChange site. I have seen that 99% of the reviews written by their clients are negative. We must report to their domain registrar so that no beginner will fall victim to their hands.

Most of the exchanges these days are like this, no team, no sufficient information, and no guarantees, it is a scam in a scam, so when trading or when depositing our funds, we must choose the exchange carefully so that our funds are not at any risk.

This is a stupid attempt on your part to polish this scam platform, a newbie account without any posts and suddenly he wants us to believe that what he is trying to say is true.

It seems that you are too stupid to come up with creative ways, so no one will believe you and you add more proof that the platform is scam.

They think they can just create multiple accounts, make fake vouches and all of a sudden members will believe that they are not a scam. Scammers are dumb too, who knew  ;D

They have been creating shill account and posting in their ANN thread too. I am going to tag all of them

Here is another one
I really liked this exchanger, the speed and exchange rate are on top. Support adequate! Thank you!

Great! Now we have another confirmation that CrownChange is a scam.  :D

Any service that uses sock puppet accounts to promote and vouch for its own product is most likely a scam. This is not just because it looks bad, but also because it makes the service appear untrustworthy. If you are looking for a way to make money online, I suggest that you find one that does not involve using scammy tactics like this.

Nice find @JeromeTash! I supported the trust flag (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3095) against @CrownChange.
