The Muslim holy month of Ramadan will begin from March.  So from now the raw materials required for the month of Ramadan are being imported in the market.  I went to a raw market in my town yesterday and saw every bag of chickpeas printed with bitcoin gold. I was surprised to see that in my country so far the cryptocurrency government is not fully legalized. There's Bitcoin Gold printed on the sacks of chickpea bag. I understand that these products are imported from abroad. And I'm just thinking about how the name of Bitcoin  is spreading globally. What do you think about it?

Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin are different coins!

It's misleading if you think the company in your country are want to spread a real Bitcoin globally, since they're promoting for Bitcoin Gold. It's either they got tricked and think Bitcoin Gold is a real Bitcoin or they have a purpose to promote Bitcoin Gold.

Thanks for the useful information, this is also the first time I know about bitcoin Gold's existence, I'm like OP, I think they do it to promote bitcoin, not bitcoin gold. But with this way of advertising, I think it is more beneficial for bitcoin than their product because I believe many people will not know about bitcoin Gold but only bitcoin.

I know bitcoin and bitcoin gold is different coin. But it is uses a fork of Bitcoin. And it has Bitcoin compatibility. this name is Bitcoin Gold but it is also advertising Bitcoin name also.

Google has a huge amount of bitcoin content that has been done with Photoshop or Illustrator.  It is never used in real life.  Your comment is completely baseless lol

This is something now common and no more a news seeing bitcoin branded materials in their varieties on display, it's what someone like you and i can also decide to make a brand with bitcoin or it's logo on shirts, cars, house and other valuable materials and equipments just to join in marketing bitcoin to others like in our homes, office or the society we lived in, which is your own personal quota or way of encouraging for adoption.

What I think is wrong with this kind of promotion is that it gives newbies a notion that a bitcoin copy cat is a worthy investment. And that as long as there is a "bitcoin" in its name, the asset is equally comparable to the original bitcoin which in the long run is a bad idea especially when they start investing their money.

This is bitcoin gold which is cryptocurrency related true but it doesn't promote bitcoin at all it only promotes bitcoin gold but since the word bitcoin is associated with this name maybe it can also promote bitcoin to some extent. However, it is very appreciable to see that cryptocurrency is spreading globally which will bring a positive side to the entire crypto industry including Bitcoin. that's it

I've searched about agri products of Bitcoin Gold, but I haven't found any. The bitcoin gold that was in the agri products is, I think, a form of advertisement since I also found this kind of agri product posted on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianStreetBets/comments/nmt01b/mom_i_want_some_bitcoin_but_we_have_bitcoin_at/). Also, this is not Bitcoin; it is another form of coin. I thought it was really Bitcoin, but I don't see any logo of Bitcoin, and it has gold on it. Though it is my first time to hear this and also my first time to hear this kind of advertisement that was really written on the sack of the product just to spread awareness.

Actually Bitcoin Gold is different from the real Bitcoin but it should help, the curiosity will kick in and some people will want to know what that's all about, it's same thing with Bitcoin cash and doing research on these forks will still lead to the main champ ( BTC ).  I believe that this promotion is directly from the BTG team, I wish something like this can be done for Bitcoin but that's left for the adopters, Bitcoin Gold has a visible team compare to the untouchable Bitcoin.

I doubt it has nothing to do with bitcoin gold as well which is entirely different from bitcoin while I was thinking someone who heard about the popularity of bitcoin and decided to use the name so people may get attention to it so its simply a marketing strategy sketched by someone to make some money.

That information might mislead newbie then invest their money on bitcoin gold instead the real bitcoin so maybe those people around there who knows the real bitcoin should clarify this that bitcoin gold and bitcoin is different coin so that there information receive is accurate and they will not expect any huge to a wrong coin. It must come from a company that is affiliated with bitcoin gold lol. Bitcoin gold was a scam coin created by scammers to imitate bitcoin. it's a failed coin. even though if it was mentioning name of bitcoin but it doesn't mean newbies can know which is true or fake bitcoin.

I find this really funny regardless if the text written in the bag is bitcoin or bitcoin gold. You can also say it is spreading globally but for the wrong reasons in some countries. I mean yes any form of marketing can be good but other gullible people may think it's a brand of chickpeas rather than a cryptocurrency hehe.

I was happy when I saw the name but after reading the entire thing, there's gold on it. Well, then that's the altcoin, the fork of bitcoin that's dedicated to CSW.
But looking at the positive perspective and it's just bitcoin alone, whatever is the product and whoever manufactured those sacks, putting bitcoin on its name is creative. We all have an idea that whoever came up with that name and idea is surely a bitcoin investor or btg whatever it is, they surely are part of the crypto community.

Probably it's a marketing strategy to captivate bitcoin enthusiasts to becomes their customers, due to the sympathy they have for bitcoin's aesthetics.

Oh ok, so it make sense now, he is using it as a marketing strategy obvious for his products across. And if some crypto enthusiast get a hold of it, for sure he might buy the product thinking that he is supporting bitcoin or bitcoin gold, so good strategy.

On the other hand, it's kinda misleading as well, specially for newbies who see the bitcoin gold logo and investigate and then began investing thinking that what they are putting their money is the true bitcoin.

Maybe the person who made the sentence forgot to add the word "is", so the writing became Bitcoin Gold. And hopefully, @OP can explain the person who wrote it so they can fix it. Or maybe the author wants to invite people to invest in Bitcoin Gold. And if true, it is a wrong decision because we already know the potential of Bitcoin while Bitcoin Gold is a Bitcoin fork.

Bitcoin has spread globally, but some people still don't want to use bitcoin, even only to use it as a long-term investment because those rotten advertisements have fooled them.

Newbies who don't do research before releasing their funds will surely fall for this. It's misleading and might only confuse investors. They are actually not promoting cryptocurrency but rather promoting their product in a creative marketing strategy. It will be attractive to crypto users but will not be too interesting to those who are aware of this selling style. It's just a labeled sack after all.

The "B" itself does not represent Bitcoin Gold logo, i wonder what the producer actually has in mind. If the bitcoin gold community are truly endorsing those products, it would be crazy to note the target market they represent, I mean, I don't understand what the benefit of the program is. It's not a charity, and even if they use it as marketing, they should have used bitcoin clout instead of its fork.

And even though bitcoin logo and format are open source, in my opinion what this businessman is doing is a kind of plagiarism. If he wanted to support bitcoin somehow, he could have added a bitcoin logo in small size on the packages of his products, with that popular saying "bitcoin accepted here", within a deposit address and QR code, but never putting bitcoin as the brand of his business.

Bitcoin is truly becoming more widely adopted and recognized globally as a form of payment and investment and of course it is being adopted too fast nowadays.
Many businesses and individuals are accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, and some are like that of the business you have posted which are agri products with bitcoin name on sacks to spread awareness about bitcoin. Products with a Bitcoin label are products that are specifically designed and marketed to cater the community.

At first glance, it thought it's just bitcoin but yeah its bitcoin gold. It has some big impact with this kind of shilling for bitcoin, too. We can't deny about it. Since bitcoin gold was an idea created as a fork from bitcoin .

Anything which generates profit would be for sure, famous to the eyes of the majority. Why is it spreading across the globe? because of impressions towarda this technology and that includes misconceptions. This industry is believed to generate profit easily but in reality there's no such thing. But somehow it attracts more people still, to engage in cryptocurrency. Downside? Many people are becoming prone to huge losses simply because they don't know what they are doing. This market is highly volatile in terms of prices which results to loss IF you'd choose liquidation over endurance of market behavior. This technology is still young and  I hope that as it is spreading to more countries, development continues.

Doesn't matter if it is the gold one, it still shows the bitcoin name there and that's a good marketing for us. However, something major such as crypto.com being on the world cup or being on formula 1, is much bigger of course because it reaches to bigger amount of people.

The adoption happens when you have people that matter start talking about it, politicians and celebrities and influencers all talking about it spreads it even further. That happens more commonly during the bull period and looking at how we are increasing in price right now, if we go up a bit more, like to over 30k levels, then we are going to start seeing those things in the long run for sure.

I believe that cryptocurrency is already been know globally, what we just need is their trust. But with the continuous market adoption of Bitcoin, this will bring a chance that it will change the doubters into believers. It really takes time to capture the interest of the community and this kind of marketing strategy mentioning Bitcoin Gold still has a huge impact on Bitcoin. Generally, all of these things carry the entire crypto market to another way of awareness, not only Bitcoin and Bitcoin Gold.

Bitcoin and Gold fonts are in different colors. And I was aware when @Jawhead999 said about Bitcoin Gold. The font color of Gold is using the gold color, which is why it seems not really clear if they are at once advertising and introducing Bitcoin, or Bitcoin Gold, or Bitcoin and Gold because those are all investments. But if we can see at glance, the word that is really clear is Bitcoin. The word Bitcoin is clearly seen here and we will notice it at first instead of the Gold word in the pack.

But well, this is very interesting to see how people there introduce this thing in order to spread Bitcoin. Moreover, it is still not really legalize, I am wondering if will it be a problem after the government notices about this  ;D

It is bitcoin gold and it is clear from the name that does not mean it is bitcoin.
But when you see the words of those of you who do know, it's better to change the title because it seems like it's bitcoin considering I don't think everyone knows about it.

As for the spread of bitcoin, maybe we already know and have felt that conditions like this are very natural for them to be known everywhere. Unless investors were sold the idea bitcoin gold is the real bitcoin I do not see how this is misleading, a business owner saw an opportunity to make their products more popular by using the name bitcoin gold on their brand as a marketing strategy, but at no moment any attempt is made for anyone using the brand to invest in cryptocurrencies, besides if this is enough to deceive someone from investing in bitcoin then I doubt they will be capable of investing in it anyway since there are several bitcoin forks out there and that would be confusing enough for them.
