I'm not an user who receive a lot merit, but at least I already become a Legendary rank, but I never tried to create such kind topic about guide how to grow account, how to increase rank etc. But a newbie with 1 merit trying to convince and create a guide for other user to grow their rank, doesn't make sense at all.

[Bitcointalk sticky threads] Newbies - read before starting. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279088.0)
[Guide] Searching effectively (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276341.0) with Forum search (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search)

Reading sticky threads and if need more, knowing how to search effectively are very good and enough for new members.

Rather than posting 6 urls which link back to the same topic, just different sections, you could simply just post the link to the forum rules.

This thread is redundant cause the link to the forum rules and the other 2 are stickies on different boards and all users can easily read them.

exactly, my point. Why would anyone hear from a newbie? OP doesn't even know how to put a link on the post.
OP stop posting these please, any newbie can find these threads from the forum and read the guidelines, instead you put some of your time into reading these threads.

I checked the profile from the OP and his previous posts. He registered on the forum a month ago and has written 32 posts so far. They are mostly short posts of 1 sentence, and in several posts he is looking for an opportunity for a job in the field of digital marketing, social networks etc.
It is quite legitimate to offer different services and products on this forum and there is a specific section for that on this forum.
However, it is quite different if a new member is trying to share tips with other members on how to progress on this forum by sharing links from other forum posts that are very easy to find.
It would be much better if he shared with us some of his personal experiences, and not what is generally known and very easy to find on this forum.
If he wants to earn merits with posts like this so he can personally advance on this forum and build his reputation, he's taken the wrong path.

Seriously it's kind of funny to me, a newbie that created account on January/07/2023, Is trying to guide other people on how to use the forum, I think that's kind of funny, or should I say the account is just another members alt account and he is trying to rank the account up. I believe if the OP is really new to the forum according to his profile, then he should be seeking for help from other members of the forum and not advising people in the forum. If you are trying to get merit, then try to make meaningful contributions to forum and you will definitely receive merit, also You don't really have to create thread before you will receive merit, just make meaningful contributions to other members posts.

I think the issue here isn't knowing about bitcointalk but, knowing about bitcoin, about cryptocurrencies. That's where the issue is and that's what the forum is mainly about. An avenue to teach and impact on crypto enthusiast.
The most I can say is of value in your thread is the rules as, the rules makes it possible for you to be here, to contribute not only your ideas but, to ask intelligent questions that can prompt concerns on aspects that weren't been given any attention.
That's some primary reason to owning g an account on the forum, the rest are just secondary. At most, you could be on the forum simply as a guest but, that's not me anyways.

What’s funny is that all the url links are actually from one thread. He just separated them for some reason. I think newbies want to rank up so fast that they take up these roles or should I say tutor persona to gain merit. I’d give the OP a month and see if he doesn’t end up doing something that’s going to get him a perma ban.

Instead all of you complaining why OP started this redundant thread, someone should have reported it as soon as it was created and it would probably be deleted by now. I just reported it, will see what happens and if it gets deleted in the end.
