I visited an uncle in another city. His birth year was 1960. He has been an avid gambler for a long time and frequently visits brick-and-mortar casinos. He currently wants to test out an crypto casino. He has heard a great deal about it. you can explain it better to an elderly as they best see it themselves in action than explaining it on a video. they can easily mess it up if they follow instructions, they may not even know how to google or learn the terms in crypto.

Right now every crypto casino are really easy about their deposit and withdrawal process, it doesn't need any tutorial as long as your uncle or the old people can use cellphone and ever bought stuff via online. It's just a basic step and completely similar, what they need to understand is how to use non custodial wallet, understand about various blockchain network and how to make sure the device is safe from malware or virus.

I think the video idea is a good one to be implemented in a crypto casino but I think most of the users of crypto casinos are young people at max the age under 40 or let's say 45 as a maximum and I am talking about the majority of them because we have a crypto master here in the forum well over 60 (he is philipma).

We live in 2 different generation, and could be your uncle is non-tech people. Is gonna to be hard for them, also casino don't have time to deal with it.

You can deposit some coins to your uncle's account on a crypto casino, I think he can already manage to do it on his own. You just have to remind him to be careful in pasting BTC addresses in withdrawing.

The elderly have passed through the early stage, so I believe that if not for medical issues, they should be able to follow the simple guidelines provided to them either with or without videos. I would like to hear the rest of this story... some old habits are hard to change, especially in old age. Well, most of the crypto casino today are very friendly and its easy to access, though some might see it more complicated since they are used to traditional casinos but eventually once they understand how it works, they can still catch up. Damn. People born in the 60s are considered to be elderly already? I've always considered people over 70 years old to be old. Some of my friends have parents nearing 70 and they aren't old at all. They go skiing, hiking, they still work, read books, some go to the gym. It's not like you're losing hearing and sight when you're 60. I wouldn't just target older people with these. I know a lot of guys who are in their 40s and don't use computers much so they get lost while browsing. Maybe they are not into 'new features' of this industry. Watching video tutorials wouldn't be enough for an elderly to fully understand how crypto gambling works not unless you will volunteer to share knowledge with him. Since yoh have introduced about crypto gambling, you should also have the courage to share how you understand it, and also, never forget to tell him all the risks of crypto gambling. Is there really need for additional features of a casino just to engage with senior citizens?  I believe the current cryptocasino is already a good package for everyone.  The deposit and withdrawal process is pretty much the standard, unless you are thinking of privileges like perks, rewards etc., may sounds good.  Other than the bonuses, VIP treatment, perks, I do not see any more features that is needed just to accommodate senior citizens.

Everything is here already, it will only depend on the capability of that Elderly gambler if he’s a fast learner or need someone to focus on guiding him. To add to what you've just said, older people base on research diminish in strength and love for activities they were once used to, gambling is fun but they may not have that tenacity to think on how to bet without making mistakes, they can get use to doing some sort of exercise or little plays that can be brain teaming aside gambling, they should be eating with their little money in their hands and maintaining themselves than using it for gambling.

I think if the OP loves his uncle better suggest against it and cover up his past activity as an active gambler when he was young, your uncle is 63 years old. I think 60 and above is the age to improve most people's lives, and also the time to have fun with positive and peaceful activities in their life.
and the elderly are not easily addicted, in my opinion, that is wrong, and most likely the elderly are easily carried away and continue to do it when they find or return to their past and are active in it, because the life of the elderly has no burden and also no other work to do besides enjoying the rest of their life with positive things. Your uncle must be happy when he finds out that you are into crypto because finally there will now be someone to teach him about it and then he can now play on crypto-based casinos. I am not sure if there is a crypto casino who has a video tutorial about them but so far I only saw some of them who had a FAQ about crypto and on how to use it.

I guess that was enough already. We shouldn't expect more from them because they are only a casino and not a crypto wallet or a crypto trading platform. Many of them are now supporting fiat and bank payments so one should not stress themselves about crypto if they find it too complex.

We all love our uncle brah. It's like they are already our second father. On the other hand, gambling is not bad as long as one isn't totally addicted with it which I can not see in the OP's uncle. Being addicted is different from having a passion with it and that is why you ended up doing it for years. Besides, his uncle is already old now so why will he limit him to be able to gain more happiness?

Old people should enjoy because they only have limited time yet to spend on this beautiful world. If there is one here that must improve his life then that will be the OP or the younger people out there but again if they are not addicted to gambling then there is nothing to change about it.

Doesnt need that much when we do talk about tutorial or some sort because you could simply explain to them on how they would be able to get some bitcoins or crypto via their fiat on which

Based on the year of birth mentioned OP uncle is at his 60+ age. Even at this age people are getting much used to smartphones. Teaching them once about the way of making deposits in terms of cryptocurrencies will be easily learnt by them. Majority of the gambling sites now have the inbuilt service to buy cryptocurrency using cards. This too can be used for the deposit and when it comes to playing his uncle seems used to it.

No it's not none, given that some elderly are not yet used to gadgets and even more in crypto . Aside from giving them some tutorial about wallets and other stuffs, they should need to be taught about crypto, security (since they can be easily targeted by scammers sorry but people who are old is the frequent victim of phishing) and of course the game itself. Op you don't have to suggest a video tutorial or any other teaching process or material to your uncle. Because I didn't see any big different between depositing Fiat currency to a casino platform and use it to gamble with the transfer of cryptocurrency to a casino platform, you can just teach him how to make a deposit from his wallet to the casino site if only he is ready gamble in his old age. I am not advising you to teach anything in gambling because in his age now he has to keep his money for up keeping and paying bills at home not to gamble but he is eager to do that then there is no option than to teach him.

Look for accessibility functions and maybe even check the footer of the site for any extra settings which might help.

True but sometimes it gives fun to have someone to play along with us especially if they are really close to us.  Since it actually doesn't need another step to play in a cryptocurrency casino because there is also an option for the fiat player to deposit cash via debit or visa card to the crypto casino.  So I think the additional feature would be allowing cash winnings to be able to withdraw in form of cryptocurrency which is available in some crypto casinos but the majority I knew don't have this function.

I don't think teaching him how to operate an online casino is going to be a good idea. You should at least let him continue with the one he has been using and maybe his interest my reduces ( probability is very low) rather than help him find ways to increase his gambling habit.

Yes, I actually have two elder friends here in my neighborhood too. One is 55+ and the other is 60+ years old. Drinking buddies on Saturdays. I try my best to feed them the simplest information about cryptocurrencies and even gambling activities because they are also avid fans of basketball locally and in the NBA.

Some old people just want to stick with the traditional things but those who want to learn can make it happen. I think OP's uncle is willing to learn so this will not be a hard task for him.

Usually an old people is lazy enough to learn alone, they will ask their child or someone is younger then them to teach and guide them. So I think a video tutorials doesn't really help them, most likely they wouldn't watch it and will say it's hard or give other excuses. I somehow disagree with your statement. With the recent technological advancements, surprisingly, lots of senior citizens are into gambling. Majority of them are also using their respective mobile phones in order to access tons of gambling applications. Not to mention, these gambling apps are notoriously aggressive on their ads across all social media platforms and websites.

Personally speaking, my own grandmother gambles frequently on her mobile phone but sometimes she has trouble seeing the texts. In addition, I am somehow positive that she would not be able to grasp the complexity of withdrawing/depositing in a gambling website so I do hope there is a way to simplify this process.

I would really not recommend this...though if you are determined, the best thing you can do is do a guidance on how to make a deposit and do the whole process in front of him first with notes. At least to teach him how to transact. Same thing with using a wallet, buying/selling on an exchange, the fundamentals. In terms of games, maybe slots would be most familiar, or traditional tables games. Most casinos work the same from what I have seen.
