Title: Cgminer temp-cutoff trouble,help needed Post by: sameev29 on March 28, 2014, 02:18:50 PM I have the temp-cutoff set to 85 for my Sapphire 280x dual-x oc.As its summer the temperature reaches 85 quite sometimes.When it happens the miner keeps running and detects new blocks but doesnt mine,no accepts.

You should have for example --gpu-engine 500-1050 to allow thermal throttling, and maybe --auto-gpu --gpu-fan 60-90 --temp-overheat 78 Or use Cgwatcher to restart cgminer. But if it reaches 85, you must really do something more to prevent it, like further undervolt or a large fan |
