Title: 4 Altcoins to look at in 2023
Post by: Master of Shitcoins on February 12, 2023, 06:06:15 PM
It will be very important as usual to make good selections of our coins and while Bitcoin is looking very bullish right now, holding some Altcoins is very important because in a bull run, Altcoins are frequently outperforming Bitcoin because of new technology and innovation.
Here are my selections:

1# AVALACHE

Avalanche had many great news recently as AMAZON selecting Avalanche because of Subnets and Avalanche has seen numberous new applications launching on Avalanche.
In general, Subnets are a huge game changer on Avalanche: https://medium.com/@demirelo/the-era-of-avalanche-subnets-9e94f377cb65

Subnets are a collection of validators participating in Avalanche consensus. A subnet can have costomized Blockchain characteristics but it's based on Avalanche Blockchain. So, a Subnet can be a customized Blochkchain, validated by Avalanche validators who are also required to validate Avalanche's mainnet.
Every Subnet can have different levels of inclusiveness (for example: permissioned, public or private), Such an unique design opens up many possibilities to implement numberous enterprise applications on Avalanche's Blockchain.
AMAZON has detected Avalanche's potential already, when Amazon selected Avalanche: https://medium.com/avalancheavax/ava-labs-and-aws-bring-scalable-blockchain-solutions-to-enterprises-and-governments-295040a34263
In addition, Avalanche is a capped coin, making it scare and people can buy it as a store of value.

Avalanche can really have huge potential and increase in price massively.

2# ETHEREUM

Ethereum has achieved PoS in 2022, making it a top contender against Bitcoin's PoW when combatting climate change. PoS will make Ethereum less wasteful because PoS requires less energy consumption.
In addition, Ethereum is now more scarce as well even if Ethereum's supply has no hard cap but inflation of Ethereum is reduced since PoS.
Ethereum is still strong in DeFi applications, such like Uniswap. More demand of DeFi applications could drive demand for Ethereum.
Only issue is scalability of Ethereum: while Blockchains such as Avalanche have solved scalability, scalability on Ethereum still needs to be coded, which could take lots of time.

3# DOGECOIN

Dogecoin is an original coin and has been around for a very long time. Dogecoin is very famous because of Doge and it will always attract some people to buy it.
Compared to copies, like Shiba Inu or Elon Doge, Dogecoin will always be an original coin, not a cheap copy.
Dogecoin can be promoted easily because it's a timeless coin.

4# CHAINLINK

Chainlink is a relatively new Coin and it gained interest quickly.
Because Chainlink is very essential in an environment of a large number of Blockchains, which need to be linked, we can expect positive investments if we are long on Chainlink. It is likely to increase interoperability as an important factor between Blockchains and Chainlink is well positioned to be a leading Link coin. Chainlink is also supported by Avalanche core developers.
Finally, Chainlink has a massive support among NATO members advertising for it on various soccial media channels.

After all, coins are always speculative but my examples mentioned above are in my opinion a good selection.
We don't know about profits but in a bull market, Avalanche, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Chainlink could perform very well.

What's your Altcoin to look at in 2023?

I guess that you've put Avalanche into #1 because that's the one that you've got the most in your portfolio. And with that news that you've also posted about it being chosen by Amazon makes it even a better choice.

But even with that, I'm not investing on it. I don't want to diversify too much with altcoins and if it has already reached an ATH price, it may take time to be back there again.

My choice is Ethereum and I've got a few of it and still holding.

For me, amongst those on the list, I only have Ethereum in my portfolio, I have nothing against the 3 of them, but for me it's better to stick to where I have been profiting in the last couple of years as I investors.

So no complains here, if you have them, then good, might be good to add BNB or ADA, obviously, this two I have as well because again, in the last bull run, it also get me a good profit so I will just repeat the process till the next bull run.

I have 4 coins on your list ;D

I also have more BNB than 1, 3 and 4. But I wonder if Doge can rise and make new history like previous ATH because it's a bit difficult with so many coins in the market. I'm not saying impossible but rather difficult.

For Avalanche and Chainklink, I have no idea whether the coins can increase too high or if I have to wait for their turn to increase.

Do you have LTC, ADA, ATOM, or Matic? ;D

of the 4 coins on your list right now I only have AVAX and ETH. and 2 others are on the list that I ignored. for ETH actually has quite positive news. at least it will be positive enough in making the price have a good enough increase. so I'm still holding it. that is, a testnet will be carried out in preparation for the launching of the Shanghai upgrade. I hope this becomes a strong enough trend. But unfortunately some fud scattered. Paxos (BUSD) seems to be being attacked by fud at the moment. so don't be surprised if the market is currently red.

First of all, I like your Username. I hope that you aren't really holding a shit-ton of shitcoins out of your wallet/s. :)

Anyway, those 4 coins that you've shared are at the top of the list in terms of market cap and as an investor focusing on large market cap coins, I'm always looking for some of the altcoins to invest my money with.

Avalanche isn't on my radar for some reasons, but it is very popular. Chainlink is the one that I just bought recently (just a few weeks ago). DOGE has been there for a very long time and yet, I didn't have the courage to buy it for an unknown reasons (I feel embarrassed because of it). Ethereum is for me what I consider as a "blue chip altcoin" because it has been there for a very long time and until now, upgrades are still being implemented.

Among the 4, LINK and ETH are the ones that I'm holding right now aside from ADA.

No one will be able to deny the place the “must” coin in the main portfolio is ETH.  I think it would be a big mistake to ignore the influence and dynamics of ETH on the altcoin market. So simply embrace it. I have more than 4 altcoins in my portfolio but priority is ETH, ADA, THETA, POlygon .

In addition, I am quite interested in new but potential and interesting coins such as:
1. Arbitrum - a layer 2 brings an incomplete, pure ecosystem but has many great development opportunities.  Hoping as the information 6/2022 Arbitrum has been selected by the Norwegian government to build a financial product, August 31 Arbitrum successfully deployed the Nitro upgrade - simplifying the communication process between ETH, reducing transaction fees  .

2. ADA: in addition to expecting Djed, there is also a solution to extend layer 2 - its hydra, in tune with defi that can continue to grow bigger when ADA has reached maturity.  It will be bigger.

I'd agree with ethereum but I doubt with Doge and other meme tokens. Well, on the usual, in every bullish market majority of cryptocurrencies' market price are increasing. Butthe downside of meme tokens is being dependent with demand and hype alone. So if these coins won't be having interest from investors even if there is an uptrend, then nothing will happen. Unlike with utility tokens wherein even if the market is neutral or in downfall, there'd still be a chance for an instant recovery since the token itself circulates on a certain platform. Ethereum on the other hand has a large chain, meaning it is being used to most of the projects and transactions in this industry which means it would always be promising to invest.

i have my eyes on ADA, MATIC, and DOGE. i'm more attracted to cheap coins than the ones that are more than $1. bought my MATIC when it dip to $0.65, it was a bit late because it dips lower than that but it's fine.

doge today is not just for the casino coin, it's now worth holding for a long time i guess so it's best to have them still in case Elon finally launches his twitter wallet. we can never guess what he'll do.

-My personally won't select multiple coins for my portfolio too and I will rather hold ETH and be at peace and my remaining balance investment will go for Bitcoin.

I admit that Ethereum is still worth investing in for the long term, this is one of the best altcoins ever to be able to survive in a large market capitalism under bitcoin, but for other coins I still don't trust them even though there are some plans for their development anyway. I still doubt it personally.

Doge is a meme coin that will make gambling there, like waiting for an explosion that doesn't know when it will happen, this coin is indeed influenced by someone who is called Elon Musk in general, but that's not certain I still don't believe doge as a good choice.

Right now i'm own only 1 coin (ETH) from your list and i will keep hold it until the next bull run. It’s undoubtedly promising coin with less risk to hold if comparing with others altcoins. Whatever, i was hold some DOGE and i sold it in the last year. I have no interest with Avalanche and Chainlink.

DOGE looks a bit ridiculous in this list of projects that have utility, I would put Optimism here instead of DOGE. Extremely promising project with great utility, a lot of activity going on around this project right now, users are rewarded with various drops. Definitely worth keeping an eye on for this L2, but that's not financial advice, DYOR.

This is interesting but among those 4 coins that you have listed, Dogecoin is the least option that I pick and possibly may not. Why? It is because there is other more potential coin than Doge and besides, Dogecoin is not interesting anymore, we can't be in profit with this project unless a miracle come like if EM will hyped them again. Ava, ETH, BNB, and Link - are good options for me but I have to put more funds into ETH and Link over Ava and BNB.

I’m expecting to read more about the reason why DOGE will be a big thing this year, but failed to see constructive reason.

Anyway, I only have ETH on my list and I just added LTC on my holdings in preparation for their halving this year and I believe LTC are more worth it to talk about than the 3 coins listed above. We all have our own different approach into this market, good coins should be complemented by the facts and its current trend.

Doge was just a fad in 2020/21, there are so many heavy bagholders it will be real tough for the price of doge to spike with a constant supply increase of 10k new doge minted every minute or so.  Think doge falls back to be worth 40-60 sats.

Yep, As long as new trend arrives and holders releases their bags, We can see a price dump with doge. I'm not so hooked with doge knowing how it's mechanism work. I don't see it good for a long term holding. It can easily be controlled by doing FUDS since it's a community driven token just like any other meme coins. I would certainly settle to a more sustainable token rather than putting my money here. Imagine if Elon Musk decided to abandon Doge for some time now, Doge will certainly have a very big dump given that there are many holders who are hooked up because Elon did fomo doge 2 years ago.

We have the same list of coins. The price of those coins is still cheap right now and it can be a short to medium term investment and waiting for the altcoin season to come back. You bought MATIC at a low price because it is now above $1 and I see MATIC has a chance to increase even higher than the current price.

If Dogecoin is still the go-to for many, they should likely own SHIBA because when it comes to Elon, it looks like the two coins are linked and could get a pump. The two coins have a large community, so there is a possibility that the price could skyrocket again.

ETH doesn't need a partner as it was a strong coin already but if let say it does then Doge coin is not the coin for that. This coin is nothing compared to ETH. If Doge will have its own partner then that will only be Shiba Inu because both of them are in the same category. BNB is fine as a partner of ETH but how can you say that Avax and Link are not worth it when they are much better than in Doge?

I was wondering in fact on why Doge coin is included in this list. I think the coin is dead already in terms of price growth because it looks like Elon got tired of it already. It's been a long time since we saw him tweet the coin but he never did that nowadays.

I think those coins all have quite a difficult road ahead of them.  Ethereum is straight up under attack by regulators.  I think it has a lot of regulation heading it's way and while it may survive, the road will be bumpy.

Dogecoin is basically a worthless meme coin.  Sure, Elon like it and thinks it's funny.  He may add it to Twitter in some way that would make it valuable, but this is somewhat priced in already.  The risk to the downside here if Elon pivots away from Dogecoin (which he may well do for Twitter since he has billions of his money on the line) is enormous.

Avalanche is promising tech, but is it really any different than Solana only with different backers?  Sure, it can grift development from Ethereum which Solana can't, but I don't see it as a game changer.

Chainlink is one I just don't understand.  As far as I can tell it's a worthless coin with an overhyped marketing campaign.  People who buy into this coin must believe all the Twitter marketing.  It's hard to imagine that a coin could succeed based on a shady marketing campaign, but it's done well so far.  People seem to believe the advertising.

I am a bit surprised that MATIC was left out of this.  It's regularly adding partners like Disney who are sure to be future metaverse powerhouses, not to mention that the Sandbox switched from ETH to MATIC and has partnered with so many brands it is hard to not view the future of altcoins being centered around the Polygon network.

the first and the second are quite good choices which as we have noticed to this day the developers of these two altcoins have shown quite good prospects and also a lot of their partners in the development of the ecosystem on the network they have made so far, I think I missed it is a loss in my opinion, regarding Doge and Chainlink I don't think it's the best choice in my opinion because we know that doge only relies on Elonmusk's golden words without him maybe doge won't be seen as big as it is now.
I think you also need to consider ADA and Matic and or GRT two top 10 coins that have a large enough market cap and also ecosystems that operate well and GRT which is a concern because it relates to big data and AI which was being discussed at the beginning of the year it's 2023.

Elon musk is just a businessman and he can speculate whatever that favours his business as long as he has large stashed dogecoin which makes him a whale in the dogecoin market.

It is important to check the ecosystem of a coin because that is what will provide the coin with long-term liquidity to keep the coin's volume and value on the exchange.

So as you have rightly mentioned,  it is better to invest in a more stable and less volatile asset that has long-term prospects.

of the 4 Altcoins the most recommended for long-term holding is ethereum, there is nothing better than it. Ethereum moving from PoS to PoW has a huge impact on reducing energy consumption and making the ethereum network more efficient and scalable. validators do not need to mine using large computing hardware, as is done in the POW system. Validators only need to have a certain amount of Ethereum to validate transactions. This means that PoS systems require less energy and cost, and it also becomes easier for users to become validators.

Currently, even ethereum layer2 is evolving and providing many benefits to ethereum as well as ongoing layer2 projects. Layer 2 allows more transactions to be performed at the same time, thus allowing Ethereum to overcome scalability issues. Since transactions performed through layer 2 do not require validation from all nodes in the network, transaction fees are lower.

I believe why he mention Avalanche at #1 is because the list was arranged in Alphabetical order and the coin happens to come first aside from that I don't think Avalanche have the liquidity and value to top the chart of most preferred choice of investment where we have coins like Ethereum and Dogecoin in the list.
I don't think it's just all about in alphabetical order but I saw him create other threads about the news with Avalanche and that's why I think he's biased on it as he owns it too.

-My personally won't select multiple coins for my portfolio too and I will rather hold ETH and be at peace and my remaining balance investment will go for Bitcoin.
Yeah, we know what's more worth it to have but it's also a reason for others to choose their own main altcoins in their portfolios. If they think that it's worth it to own such then they have a reason for it just as we.

Proven on how long it's there and how many times it did reached different peaks speaks for itself but still, good luck with our set of choices.

Our choice varies mate and it's good to show some form of in-depth analysis before making our choice since altcoin market is highly volatile and risky with less trust on it value for long term.
-But as you have rightly said, investors will definitely make a choice and all that we can wish ourselves just the best of luck, we should also learn how to calculate the percentages of our portfolios based on the assets we most prefered.

Each one of us has different set of criteria in choosing which alts to invest with.
It depends on how knowledgeable you are in terms of crypto investments.
We have our pros and cons when thinking of these alts. But at the end of the day,
we are all hoping that our investments will make profit once we sell it at the market.
So the entry and exit points also vary from other people. It highly depends on your goal and targets.

we will not know which altcoin will skyrocket this year, but in my opinion the altcoin that will skyrocket this year is ethereum. and also in my opinion what will fly this year is the MATIC coin,
because I see that this MATIC coin has a lot of holders and enthusiasts.

but we will not know the actual events in this year
because usually it will be difficult to guess.

I think Ethereum and Doge can still be paired and held in 2023, but AVALACHE and CHAINLINK are not worth it in my opinion. if I may suggest that you join altcoins like Bnb just not to waste your time
ETH doesn't need a partner as it was a strong coin already but if let say it does then Doge coin is not the coin for that.

It's been a long time since we saw him tweet the coin but he never did that nowadays.

yes, that's right, I clarified a little that my intention was not to juxtapose DOGE with ETH. But between Doge and Eth there is still feasibility to be maintained this season or this year because it is possible that both of them will shine again in the market

Altcoins are frequently outperforming Bitcoin because of new technology and innovation.

Altcoins outperform bitcoin in terms of technology. I do not think so. Yes, in theory, altcoin projects always introduce the concept of cutting edge technology, the technology of the future, blah... blah...But let's see if any altcoins have been put into practice so far, or is it just a game of pumping and dumping and disappearing? Bitcoin is slow and old but still the top choice of investors and companies looking to adopt crypto. If you are looking for altcoins to invest in for profit, there is nothing wrong as this is a money game, but saying that you invest in technology is just an illusion.

Out of those four, I'll tip Ethereum to go the whole hog. Why? Community backing and mainstream adoption is the key for many coins to go

I think it would make a lot of sense to keep Ethereum at number 1, but since it's a portfolio that you believe in, well it makes sense. If I were you I would probably only focus on the 2 coins in the portfolio you mentioned, Ethereum and avalanche. Other than that, I think that Doge is the riskiest among the altcoins mentioned. although the decline and increase in price can still be used to make a profit.

Personally, if building a portfolio of 4 altcoins this year, I would prefer Ethereum, BNB, ADA, and Matic. However, it is an altcoin that I believe will have a high price and has quite promising development in the future, but currently, there are only 2 altcoins in my wallet, Ethereum and BNB.

I only have ETH, LINK and Dogecoin from that list in my wallet.
But I'm just waiting for ETH first because I see ETH's great opportunity to increase more than other coins.
But if LINK can increase first, it's really nice because I can profit from that coin.
Don't forget that BNB is also in the top position as your investment because BNB can also surprise you during the altcoin season later.

there are many choices of coins that have opportunities in 2023, for ETH is the main portfolio for altcoins.
for the next altcoin I see SUI, avax, kava, DAI are also good

not for doge for me because doge is a meme coin that will go up if you experience fomo and even then if one of the famous people tweets it

Well, those wallets that we have, they have automatic calculation on what's the percentage of each crypto that we have.

These choices that we make really have to be dependent on what we know about them. If you've been making a research very well, you'll see those ins and outs of other projects.

Yeah, which is why we need an in-debt analysis of the project before putting our money down,  because without adequate knowledge and understanding of project usercase and what they intend to offer on a long-term scale if you let emotion take out your sense of judgement one may end up in a bad investment.
-So knowledge is the key factor and tool that aid our decision-making process, especially in altcoin where the risk level is incredibly high compared to Bitcoin.

What's your Altcoin to look at in 2023?

To be honest I don't think the list is bad but I would only trust Ethereum. Because all teams developing projects prefer Ethereum more than other coins and their communities are better. However, if we enter a bull season, the coins on this list are likely to make money for their investors as they are major altcoins. So I think the list is not bad. But all in all, we are not certain to enter a bull season any time soon, so I would prefer Ethereum alone.

Indeed, compared to Ethereum, its list may not be that great. But he has chosen the coins as his investment; hopefully, his coins can increase, which can benefit him. Now is a very good time to invest in altcoins because we can choose more than one altcoin with so many coins in circulation. But the problem is that we can get confused about getting the right coin because almost all coins have the same chance to increase. So be careful if you want to buy any altcoin and make sure it is indeed an altcoin that has the potential to go up.

Ethereum and Dogecoin are in my portfolio and they are not just an option in 2023 but have been an option in recent years, Dogecoin is the first altcoin which has always been my favorite because it has been proven to provide several times the profit and Ethereum sees that its development still has good prospects and clear that only saving based on my ability.

I think having more coins in circulation doesn't really mean anything, I know that people are hopeful and happy about a potential to pick a great one in the future but that doesn't mean that we will have anything serious at all, it just means that we are going to end up with more things that can go to zero.

Too many coins but the amount of money in crypto doesn't go up the same way and I think it is obvious that some of them need to die in order to make room for others. The top ones go up at times, haven't gone up in a while that is true but they do, and for that to happen some of the money in the little ones needs to go there, along with new money of course.

Truly our emotion is one of the factors if we'll be able to choose the right one or we won't. If we basically rely on it for choosing the good projects we can have, it's likely one of the mistakes that we'll ever commit.

-So knowledge is the key factor and tool that aid our decision-making process, especially in altcoin where the risk level is incredibly high compared to Bitcoin.
No doubt with that. When someone's knowledgeable enough to look at these prospected projects, he sure know what he's doing. Just like us who understood first what bitcoin is and how volatile it was, then we'll get a glance of those projects we may want to get involved.

But unfortunately, we don't know which coins will improve in the future and even if the coins have a good position in the market now, that does not guarantee that they will still be in a good position. And if there are coins that can't hold their ground, they have to be out of the competition and we've seen a lot of coins that have lost support, either from the community or the team behind the project.

Many coins on the market are okay because they can give us the opportunity to earn more profit. But we are still the same in control by always analyzing the coins to find the right coin. And for this year, I think there are lots of coins that can go up high and maybe some new coins can replace the old ones.

If the majority of the coins that were released were good and brought new developments then it could be said that a higher number of coins was beneficial to the market, but when the majority of the coins being released are scams which only make harder for investors to find the right projects in which to put their money and get scammed as a result of this, then there is no doubt in my mind that having more coins in the market is not something worth celebrating as it is obvious we do not need the 12k coins that are currently in existence.

So, a Subnet can be a customized Blcokchain, validated by Avalanche validators who are also required to validate Avalanche's mainnet.

In addition, Ethereum is now more scarce as well even if Ethereum's supply has no hard cap but inflation of Ethereum ist reduced since PoS.

Dogecoin is very famous because of Doge and it will always attrach some people to buy it.
Compared to cipies, like Shiba Inu or Elon Doge, Dogecoin will always be an original coin, not a cheap copy.
Dogecoin can be promoted easily because it's a timeless coin.

4# CHAINLINK

Chainlink is a relatively new Coin and it gained interest quickly.
Because Chainlink is very essential in an environment of a large number of Blockchains, which need to e linked, we can expect positive investments if we are long on Chainlink.

Guys, I'm sure that you missed the most ambitious one. $ROSE from Oasis Network. That is a token with incredibly big growth potential. You can just check the last Oasis updates and new ones and realize how intelligent and confident their way.

I don't think I'd pick Dogecoin for now or even the copy cat SHIBA INU, those two are just based around the hypes nowadays and it can be really risky if you are not aware enough.

Despite Dogcoin, I totally agree with you as the underlying blockchains of these coins provide technical benefits and contribute to building the Web3 we dream about. There's no need to talk about Ethereum as it was the catalyst for all other smart contract platforms. Avalanch is an amazing project that got the recognition of the Ether founder. Chainlink is the decentralized oracle network that will introduce staking in 2023.
I honestly have only ETH and LINK in my portfolio, but may consider AVAX later. In addition, I like what the team of Atom are doing, and have the coin in my portfolio.

it's quite fast in term of growth and right now have quite the userbase, I'd say if there's bullrun in the future, matic will definitely be one that benefited most because how utilized it is currently.

Investing in doge is an interesting thing, if anyone is willing to take the risk, then Doge and Shiba are 2 memes we should consider. I also hold Doge and Shiba, although both make up a small portion of my portfolio. As long as Elon still wants to have fun with Doge, it won't be too difficult for him to help Doge hit $1 in the next bull season.

I have ETH and LINK among these.  With product platforms providing off-chain decentralized databases for other blockchains, I think LINK will be one of the key ingredients for the impending web3 trend.  That would be bullish expectations for it.  ETH remains the main focus of my altcoin portfolio.  Also, I would expect good compatibility for THETA, FIL, etc.  they are potential altcoins that drive growth and want to build web3.  If bitcoin's recovery cycle is confirmed, I would expect these coins to see macro growth in 2023.

As much as I dislike meme coins as they trivialize what we are trying to do with this market, they will eventually have their day and they will grow in price as they always do, however this is not the moment to do this, those interested in those coins need to wait until the bull market is finally here, at that moment they will still be able to get meme coins for cheap and they will only need to wait a few months for those coins to begin growing again.

In the market whoever creates a coin or token will have an impact in fact, so if Facebook's Libra coin gets in it could have made it to the top Binance even if it is not technically advanced it will have an edge over those technically advanced coins that are created by unknown developers or companies

I willl not get into this.
Ethereum is the first that I will pick from these lists. And others are not yet. I prefer to get top altcoins that still have small price at this time, but have quite good ATH and probabilities to rise up again. I am now focusing also on Matic, ADA, and XRP on my lists rather than other altcoins listed in here. But I understand very much that everyone has different consideration, research, and decision. So, whatever your decision, go for it without any regret.

I will look at one side of the list, ethereum. Because both the technology and the use of the ethereum network should have made it number one on the list. Doge, on the other hand, is a cryptocurrency that has come to the fore entirely through Elon Musk. In short, if Elon Musk had not inflated the market so much today, we would still be using it for transfers between exchange platforms and it would never have been this valuable. In general, I would only include ethereum from the list, both in terms of technology and because it is the second crypto currency in the crypto money market in my opinion.

Of course the most reliable coins for me are BNB and Ethereum. But you have only attached Ethereum to your list. These coins are the best among the ALT coins as far as I know.

Because basically there's nothing more to look at than Ethereum from the list there :)
The conditions still won't change saying other coins especially for Shitcoins is kind of funny but indeed maybe that's what they're aiming for in the hopes of a covert pump to find victims new in it.
There's nothing to say, even though I don't really like being in altcoins but indeed if you look at the list that is written of course Ethereum is the main choice and the only thing other than that there is nothing else to see.

It will be very important as usual to make good selections of our coins and while Bitcoin is looking very bullish right now, holding some Altcoins is very important because in a bull run, Altcoins are frequently outperforming Bitcoin because of new technology and innovation.

What's your Altcoin to look at in 2023?

From the 4 projects that you have described in your post, i don't any, except from a little Ethereum that i need to pay gas fees obviously but i can agree that avalanche, chainlink and of course also Ethereum are solid projects. I just don't know if they are that hot anymore. There are so many new blockchains out there now that are all offering smart contracts, low fees and fast transactions. Also i  would never buy Dogecoin to be honest. It is just a useless meme coin.

Chainlink is a good option
I’d add NeonLink to this list too!
Thanks for sharing, I have all of them in my portfolio
I’d love to see more people sharing good projects in this thread

Same here, maybe perhaps we are more of a investors of solid projects like bitcoin. And with that, we are going to hold as long as we can, and most likely still buying up to this day to include in our portfolio.

I have another altcoin though, but I would rather keep it secret.

So best of luck to the OP, maybe it really looks solid, or maybe he already has this in his portfolio and trying to hype it here. And maybe in the future, if we are in the bull run, this coins are going to be 10x minimum.

I appreciate your analysis and insights on each coin, and I agree that they have some potential and advantages. However, I also think that there are some risks and challenges that each coin faces, such as competition, regulation, security, and adoption.

Yes, it can be promoted easily and it is indeed a timeless coin but OP, you should know that this kind of altcoin is also reckoned as a meme coin where most investors are not that interested to invest in it because of the risks entailed with it. While it may give and grant you the profits that you wanted but it will come to you at a high price because you can't possibly know when will it move again and start to make a rally.

Therefore, investing in this kind of coin is pretty much not advisable to do. I mean, there are a lot of coins in the market right now that are less risky yet profitable.

Seriously, Doge? still becomes one of the coin to look?
I willl not get into this.
Ethereum is the first that I will pick from these lists. And others are not yet. I prefer to get top altcoins that still have small price at this time, but have quite good ATH and probabilities to rise up again. I am now focusing also on Matic, ADA, and XRP on my lists rather than other altcoins listed in here. But I understand very much that everyone has different consideration, research, and decision. So, whatever your decision, go for it without any regret.

eth = pos = piece of shit

doge = pow
doge has an endless supply of rewards so miners will never stop mining it.
doge's rate of inflation is smaller every year = far better than fiat.
doge year 1
doge year 2 2x coins 100 percent inflation
.
.
.
doge year 5 5x coins
doge year 6 6x coins 20% inflation
.
.
.
.
doge year 10 10x coins
doge year 11 11x coins 10% inflation
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
doge year 20 20x coins
doge year 20 21x coins 5% inflation

failing to understand the clever design of doge reward system

and mocking doge as an inferior coin is not very wise choice.

In the long run eth will simply become a large closed garbage corporation with all control centralized to mr v.

BTW mr v owes me 2 eth and an apology which he will never do.

I strongly believe that ARBITRIUM should have made the list.

The wave of gas fees has obviously led layer 1 fans into the arbitrium space. Although, the number of projects in the $ARB space seems so little but I know or sure that the Arbitrium Foundation will roll out grants to help projects leverage the platform. Other 0x.. chains exists but I give it to $ARB because of their publicity and the Foundation backing them.

I don't know when the cryptomarket situation is going to rise. But I bought some altcoins during this bad time. I don't know how they will fare in the future. I bought bnb and MATIC and then bnb. I think I will invest in those coins.  I will be able to profit from these after a few years. But now if the situation of the market is worse then there is a possibility of my loss. I hope that the market will be better soon.

The four altcoins you mentioned, I will prefer Ethereum in this season because the evidence to make a passive income from it in the future is there, so I will invest in Ethereum and apply long holding to ensure I smile at the end when the price increase higher. Based on the move of Dogecoin in this season, I don't think I will invest on it because there is no sign that the price will improve higher before the end of this year 2023 and the green light has turned to red light which is the fear of investors. Since the price of Bitcoin has increased to 26,456 few days ago, showed that Ethereum price will hit $2000 before the end of December to allow long term investors to experience massive income from their investment.

Ethereum isn't supposed to be in that list because cryptocurency like Ethereum are on the same level as Bitcoin and it's supposed to be in every altcoin investors portfolio. Ethereum and Bitcoin should be our first cryptocurency to buy before we can start buying other projects that we love. If altcoins season comes Ethereum will always benefit.
I don't think Ethereum and Bitcoin can ever crash like other coins in the market because they both control the whole market. Bitcoin controll all the cryptocurency market but Ethereum control altcoins market. Other project use Ethereum as their example as they want to belike Ethereum or try to replace it such as BNB, SOL and many more.
Dogecoin doesn't need a sign for you to invest in it. Immediately we get to the bull market, Elon Musk will start pumping it again by shilling it constantly to his follower and they'll beginning buying dogecoin which will increase the price. Don't invest too much into memecoins but you can invest some changes into them so if it increase you also benefit.

While your choice of Avalanche, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Chainlink as potential altcoins to watch out for in 2023 is interesting, it is important to note that you can also add MATIC and TFS to this portfolio, these tokens are also showing good dynamics. Market dynamics can change quickly though, so it's important to do thorough research and consider factors beyond just the latest news and popularity.

Your list is not good because all of those coins expect Ethereum are useless and they won't grow too much in coming bull market. Only Ethereum has the potential to grow huge in the coming bull run. I think if you're really into altcoins then your first priority in current situation should be Lite coin because that thing has potential to 2x or more in coming bull run because it will also have a halving event in final quarter of this year.

Other than LTC I recommend you to go with BNB because the coin can grow to very high levels in coming bull run. Other than those the only competent coin that I think can grow is value would be Arbitrum because that coin also has potential to grow 2-4x or more during next bull run. You can also go with many other useless pump and dump coins that can grow in value more than 6-10x in the coming bull run, but it's really hard to find the genuine ones that could grow that much. I would recommend everyone to avoid those altcoins that have no good use case.

Nobody knows when will the market recover but a lot of people are already speculating that it's already near and the bull season will rise, what we should do is keep on taking advantage of the situation while the market is still selling coins for a cheap price because sooner or later, this situation we've had might not come again or might not be as low as we have it now. If you feel full already then it's time to hold and be patient, just to be safe though, I just invested on the top ones to minimize risks.

And I think that these altcoins that sure need to be looked into are,

1. Ethereum
2. BNB
3. Matic
4. ADA

There are really worth holding as the bear is still on going.
I would say that this is the best time to hoard them (For now, I think?) while their value is really worth a penny and they might make a massive profit in the future,

very good choice that you have attached, representing a high price at an affordable price. Of course, until now the coin that you said is very potential to date and is in the best ranking, so it is very reasonable to be a choice.
all that remains is to adjust to the funds that may be owned, because funds also determine where to be placed for investment.
when the price is being corrected there is a clear opportunity to continue buying and holding until the halving era to come, patience is needed for this.

I am not fan of most of the altcoins but a suggestion that invest in some top coins that have some stability instead of these meme coins or other without any strong team behind because they can go down without any recovery in future causing big loss to you.So ETH is good choice and would say SOL is also good option and prices are low at this time while team is working on development with lot of events that could boost them up in coming years.Rest every investor has his/her own preferences on which investment decision is made.

Yes you are right if you are not patient you can never be successful. I think if we can save some good coins and invest and hold for long time then we have good chance of profit. And if we make rash decision after investing.  If we do something wrong, we will bring our own danger. Therefore, we always take a decision after thinking carefully. We will not take any decision due to which there is a possibility of losing our money.

Of the 4 koi that OP described I thought it was better for me to invest in Ethereum, because it had been tested and became a Bitcoin follower as a top 2 cmc, the community and ecosystems would have the power to rise to rise in prices even higher or could get ATH Just again in the next Bullrun cycle.

Regarding Doge, even though he has popularity because of the existence of Elon and can be said because of the influencer, I am not interested in it, if seen from the probability, Elon will definitely give a pump to Dogecoin as usual, I might be interested in investing my money in Doge, and waiting Elon gives the signal.LOL
Regarding the other two projects I really do not know the two, and do not attract my attention and most likely what will happen to the development of the project, that is the reason I do not want to invest in both other projects that OP recommend to be considered.

I chose MATIC, it is a complete and promising altcoin choice for 2023. My reason is Polygon (MATIC) has emerged as a prominent layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum, addressing network scalability challenges. Its focus on providing a seamless experience for both developers and users positions it as a strong contender for future growth and i am waithing new ATH for 2024.

Hllo guys,
I am definitely positive about Chainlink. because it is a huge potential ALT coin. I will do DCA every time it gets deeper. And I think it's better to buy Avalanche too, but among all of these low-risk coins, ETH is my favorite. I don't think Dogecoin will lead the crypto market in the next bull run.
Yes for me, among the list, chainlink is a unique project, and besides that Ethereum also.
For me, if we will only base on the list, I'll go with Ethereum first then Chainlink. I know Chainlink is already here even before, as you can see a lot of projects already trying to beat Chainlink but for me, the original will always stay.

Wow, I don't know about NEONLINK but when it is similarly required like Chainlink, overally, it might be a good pick, of course.

Because right now, NEON is not very common in Blockchain industry, I only know NEO, it's a single cryptocurrency.

Chainlink and Ethereum are indeed the top altcoins and are worth investing in, but for 2023 these two coins cannot be said to be appropriate,
because there are still many good altcoins that are worth investing in, especially in medium caps, for example Steem and Combo,
you can find information about these two coins are on coinmarketcap and you will trust me.

Wow, I don't know about NEONLINK but when it is similarly required like Chainlink, overally, it might be a good pick, of course.
Do you know, what it will be required to link?
Because right now, NEON is not very common in Blockchain industry, I only know NEO, it's a single cryptocurrency.

I just checked the website, for there i can see several games will be launch, Ascend The End (RPG), Neon Punks (Arcade) and Neon Realms (Card). I think for the card games like this are not popular in crypto circles. There are many card games that don't last very long.

Actually, I was waiting for the presence of League of Ancients for the game category project, but it looks like this project was canceled because there was news that they had run out of funds for development. I don't know, maybe this is just a drama or a potential scam.

Ethereum is good and worth it to be invested mainly if you're looking for long-term but considering the situations they have been in the recent years and months, ETH is not getting the investors and public's interests anymore due to the problems that are still existing right now.

Right now, I'm more inclined in accumulating more BNB's and SOL's as much as possible as I have this feeling that the prices will balloon after the bitcoin's recovery and much likely achieve another ETH. Chainlink is decent but I'm not that interested as of now.

I don't understand why you pick these four projects, but these are 4 large cap tokens and are well known in the space, I would have expected more from you because who does not know Ethereum, Avalanche and Doge. These 4 projects will likely do well, but their upside is not that huge, people are calling Ethereum to reach $10k at most in the coming bull run, when we have projects that will do 10X to 100X. I would have preferred unknown projects that people have overlooked to be on your list, anyone could make this list.

the coin you mentioned is the top coin of all which is no doubt about it,
so it's just a matter of preference.

You said you aren't interested, but you also stated that you may consider to put your money in Doge. So, which one is the correct one? You must understand that Dogecoin is a meme coin only although it becomes popular because of Elon Musk factor. I don't see any strong fundamental in this coin, it purely relies on Elon Musk only. How if Elon Musk never tweets or state anything related to Dogecoin/meme coin again? If it happens, I assume Dogecoin may drop its value drastically. Are you still interested to put your money in a risky meme coin like Doge?

from my honest opinion, the only one worth looking at are definitely ethereum, you just never get wrong with this coin due to its massive utilization that's not just some gimmicks
but real utilisation thats why they are also having second layer solution since too much utility means much traffic which ethereum isn't really good at containing the scaling issues.
but I think considering the fact that ethereum is quite far from its most recent all time high then that only means its gonna have better chance of recovering back to its past state
that is when the price was nearing all time high because I think ethereum most certainly deserves that pricing honestly.

Ethereum's current storm isnt the whole story, people! Its changing into Ethereum 2.0. Forget today's trials; this is a long game. Your love for BNB and SOL, noted. But isnt it apples and oranges? BNB's tied to Binance's boat, SOL's a fledgling. Their paths might not mirror Ethereum's. Chainlink, the quiet performer, is crucial to the DeFi cosmos as a decentralized oracle. The limelight isnt everything; the real magic happens behind the scenes.

Right now i think put money in BNB is a good idea, maybe some people will think it's a bad idea.
The reason for me to buy bnb is simple because BNB gonna win against SEC and it gonna make the price of coin rise drastically.

You don't need to be serious about responding to my arugemn, sir, I also laughed at the end of the sentence. Fundamentally indeed Dogecoin is not so strong, both from the ecosystem and its utility development in this meme coin, I agree with you about this, even when Elon no longer makes a stir by promoting this dog's coin, last time was allegedly that Elon also received criticism to stop advertising Coins like this, if they continue to do it will be subject to sanctions.
It is likely that Elon is not as free as it used to talk about Dogecoin, or even he let go of his nickname as the father of a dog.
I will only use the price fluctuations when Elon plays again, it might be at risk, but I tried it several times, it should be remembered that I did not have the intention to buy in the early morning.

Buy before elon says anything about Dogecoin on twitter, and sell when he starts mentioning Dogecoin. you also have to prepare your money for the long term, this is like catching a knife from a height, you can just catch it or end up with a wound in your hand.
Regarding other Altcoins, I prefer to stay on Ethereum and Avalanche, I still hold these two Altcoins waiting for the bulls to come to pick up at high prices.

If you want to Altcoin, Eth is the best solution in my opinion compared to the others, because basically we know the extent to which this ETH is developing to this day, but for Avalanche, you seem to have sharpness in analyzing this crypto project, which has made You dare to invest into it.

When we are extensively discussing about altcoins matters, we cannot predict them enough because those reputable top coins you're seing have also started from somewhere, they maneuver their way up the ladder to where they were today and their developers have also contributed alot to achieve that, which means there are still more potential and reliable altcoins we could look into ad invest by taking the risk of we are well satisfied through the level of the outcome received from their research made, because it all have to include risk taking at the end.

Many have already shown their own suggestions and opinions but if I tell my opinion on those I don't see any other good choice out of these four other than Ethereum. Specially doge coin I don't think this meme coin has any good future. If you want you can change your choice then you can replace and place Lite Coin, BNB Coin, Polygon matic in the other three places. All these have already created a potential place not only just 2023 I think these will be also good for long term.

Apart from Ethereum, I would recommend only fundamentally strong cryptos especially Bitcoin, BNB, XRP, USDT tether, LTC and some other top and oldest coins. Because they can still be trusted in terms of profits, especially in the long run.

And as for Dogecoin I doubt it. Because I don't think the fundamentals are strong, and the supply to the market is so huge that coins are unlimited.
and why Doge can go up, because there are so many solid Doge investors and coin holder communities that make this coin exist. And besides, Doge's all-time high price increase was due to Elon Musk's tweet, and it won't be happening again.

Ethereum is the top popular altcoin all of the time and it's most reliable coin after Bitcoin. I have holding only in Ethereum from your mentioned coin list.
Doge will not be potential coin in your long term investment, if you have extra money then you can take risk to invest this coin.

Do you have LTC, ADA, ATOM, or Matic? ;D

i have my eyes on ADA, MATIC, and DOGE. i'm more attracted to cheap coins than the ones that are more than $1. bought my MATIC when it dip to $0.65, it was a bit late because it dips lower than that but it's fine.

doge today is not just for the casino coin, it's now worth holding for a long time i guess so it's best to have them still in case Elon finally launches his twitter wallet. we can never guess what he'll do.

It does not matter if you buy cheap or expensive; in the end, the return on investment is almost similar. I have personally experienced this, so now I only invest in ETH and BTC.  And as far as investment in DOGE is concerned, there is a huge earning opportunity as long as Elon Musk is tweeting. It is the main reason I have invested in DOGE.

Looks OP miss with one potential altcoin is Litecoin, depend on one month left before halving I think has good progress for Litecoin back to higher price and currently success break out from $80 to $111. Have several days before halving and seems Litecoin is promising altcoin for investing actually before halving time coming. Depend on your hand believe or not after looking last several days Litecoin success break out almost 30% and potential when halving time close can reach to more higher price. Litecoin not following with Bitcoin price on current close with halving time, although last two days bitcoin going drop but Litecoin keep stable above $100 and right now still not late depend all time high from altcoin last several years above $300.

I can agree that other than Dogecoin are good options. It's not a bad list. However, I see Ethereum and Avalanche one step ahead. Layer 1 projects are always the main dynamics. If a bull is to come, there will be activity in Bitcoin first, then altcoins. In altcoins, firstly, the main dynamic networks are activated, then activity is observed in the projects on those networks. Therefore, Ethereum and Avalanche are better options for me than others. On the other hand, I would never invest in Dogecoin seriously...

This is my personal opinion. Of course there will be many choices of what they will take in the next bull season but I agree with the other 3 options you have given.

The difficulty with taking advice on which alts to buy is that the less well known ones can be rug pulls. Also everybody who recommends a coin or token is likely being bias so they have an agenda. You just have to do your own research, take snippets of info from others, write pros & cons about each coin/token you read about & tgen just go for it. Obviously don’t go too deep into one coin, diversification is key.

From some of what you mentioned, it feels like Cardano (ADA) is a potential coin going forward, even this hasn't been talked about much in  the next bull run.. I think it's better to prepare from now, with my asumsion  the price is still very cheap. For ETH and BTC and BNB it is very clear.

Is this in exact order or any order? Coz' I wonder why you've put AVA in the #1 list? Either you're an Avalanche maxi or ambassador? Or you're just making it #1 due to the number of holdings you have in that coin over the other altcoins you've mentioned.

Undoubtedly for me ETH is the best altcoin up to date and locked 2nd to Bitcoin in Coinmarketcap, Coingecko, etc., in terms of market capitalization.

I doubt about DOGE though because it's just a meme coin with no unique use case and utility but it's just a favorite of Elon Musk, Mark Cuban and some other fanatics out there. But this is not designed for long-term. Rather mostly a short-term one and barely a mid-term type coin.

ETH is the long term altcoin while AVA and LINK are mid-terms for me. Just my opinion.

although many altcoins have higher technology than bitcoin but still bitcoin is the most popular crypto, and usually the prices of large altcoins as you mentioned move in the same direction as bitcoin. I agree with the 3 altcoins that you recommend but I don't agree with Doge because Doge is a meme coin, and as you said Doge's life really depends on one person namely Elon Musk.  i suggest BNB instead of doge  :)

I know most of ethereum fans here in topic so its to much good decision. Only patient investors make profits from top coins but if can't hold long time then forget old coin.

Avalanche is good coin to invest. But my 4 top priority are :
1. Litecoin : this time i think we will see an old PoW coin perform very good
2. Avalanche : it is still underprice if we compare to another same project
3. Doge : the meme coin which i think will never die and maybe will be very usefull
4. Verge : i like verge because it has got an ISO 200022 which used by swift for transfering financial transactions

I agree with the 3 altcoins that you recommend but I don't agree with Doge because Doge is a meme coin, and as you said Doge's life really depends on one person namely Elon Musk.  i suggest BNB instead of doge  :)
it seems that it is true, all the best altcoins will follow the movements of bitcoin and it is difficult not to be affected by these movements. because until now bitcoin has become a reference for all altcoins that are indeed on the exchange. actually everything that is ranked the best on CMC is very likely to be recommended as an investment, but I agree that for doge, it would not be a priority to be included in the selection because doge is a meme coin which is very vulnerable to holding for the long term, it must also be remembered that big doge because of the influence of elon musk, not from the development that was done.

If talking only about these 4 altcoins, Ethereum would be my favorite altcoin in the coming year as it has the ability to move forward in less time. As previously Bitcoin was my favorite, I would prefer Ethereum for a profitable experience in the coming years.

What's your Altcoin to look at in 2023?

I see CRO, ADA, and MATIC as the best altcoins for 2023. Maybe they are still below their ATH and no spike in trading volume but I believe because I see their function and use not just as trading. I mean like a CRO which has its own exchange market and has been promoting in many large market communities. MATIC which has a smooth transaction speed and has a fast transaction network. And ADA is indeed a project that I have been monitoring since 2022 and I still believe in ADA.

Really massive support Chainlink for all holders. They evaluate investors and carry out various development activities that are attractive to all. Moreover, they have been in the crypto market for a long time and have huge investors which is actually a plus point for newbies.

I'm only interested in Ethereum on your list, because I think Ethereum is the right choice to make an investment, so I will definitely get a big profit from investing in Ethereum and of course now is the right time to buy Ethereum, because I'm sure for a moment the next bullrun will occur and the price of Ethereum will definitely increase very high during a bullrun, so I will definitely get a big profit from investing in Ethereum at this time and selling it during a bullrun.

Whatever coin we are currently holding, as long as it has a clear track record and fundamentals, it is possible that it will feel the same way during the next bullrun season. So, not only ETH. and I admit that for ETH, no one can deny that coins are indeed the king of altcoins.

Most definitely eth should be among alts to be included in a portfolio for the next bull period. There are several other choices to be made from l1 to l2 which makes it kind of difficult to determine which among the great alts available in the market and the upcoming ones to buy.
I would narrow my choices down to those potential project who have not yet had the opportunity of experiencing the bull period. So most potential projects which have been launched after the previous bull would be a good place to search.

Ethereum has merits! But our gold standard is Bitcoin. LeBron James of crypto. I understand cryptocurrencies' appeal, especially new ones that have never seen a bull run. My friend, doubt. Dont fall for "undiscovered" cryptocurrencies. They wo't sail smoothly just because they're fresh off the boat. If you understand, not everybody will survive their first winter.

I like your productive approach of researching and exploring L1 and L2 options. Despite their technological advances, altcoins are still behind Bitcoin. Lets get serious. Diversity is crucial. However, Bitcoin should be your crypto portfolio's foundation. It has the T-shirt to prove it! Isnt that great?

2023 looks like it will be the month for altcoins that still don't have good performance in 2021,
and I think those altcoins are XRP, CKB, LTC, Algo, and XLM,
buy these five coins and hold them until the end of 2023 I'm sure the investment will be successful, especially for XRP, CKB and LTC.

Op i think your selection is fair enough. Those 4 are good to hold till next bull run along with bitcoin. But in my opinion, binance coin should be in your list cause it is most popular and most using blockchain after ether. And first i doubt about doge, why you added memecoin instead of selecting potential coin! But it isnt badd to add at least one memecoin in your investment altcoins list. Why knows if that meme coin can change your luck! Although i don't recommend any kind of memecoin, no matter how powerful community it has

I agree with AVALACHE, Ethereum and Chainlink, but I disagree with Dogecoin, because Dogecoin is memecoin, so it is very risky to invest in Dogecoin, especially if you make Dogecoin for a long term investment, but if you invest in Dogecoin for short term and only take advantage of the popularity or hype of Dogecoin to get profit, then that's fine, even though I'm not interested to investing in memecoin including Dogecoin, because it is very risky and my altcoin to look at in 2023 are Ethereum and Binance.
[/quote]

I agree, the other coins mentioned has a huge potential compared to Dogecoin. It's not that we are underestimating Doge because there are already investors who benefited from it but it's we can't expect too much from it since it's just being manipulated and not too demanded. It would be worth buying if we're willing to take the risks but we should also expect that the price of it will depend on the manipulations that might happen in the future.
There are lots of altcoins that might reach a good spot when the next bull season approaches especially Ethereum. We've seen how it survived different market cycles so I'm sure that it will again prove us a huge capability to reach a high value in the future. BNB also has a huge chance to reach higher because it's been trusted by a lot of investors too.

For me, Dogecoin has become the most preferred coin. I first met Dogecoin back in 2014. Then the main savings thanks to free faucet and investments in the hype pyramid. It is a pity that there was no way to mine Dogecoin yourself. Now the profit would be super. Dogecoin will be one of profitability coins in future, not only in 2023. It is my opinion)

1. I agree with ETH because ETH is the king of altcoins.
2. BNB, because BNB is supported by the largest exchange, namely binance.
3. MATIC, the SEC issue made the price of MATIC drop dramatically. now the SEC issue has been resolved and the price of MATIC has the potential to increase dramatically.
4. ARBITRUM, a new project L2 and has great potential.

2# ETHEREUM
This is my only choice from the altcoins lists here, only love Ethereum from the lists.

3# DOGECOIN
This is a coin that I don't want to invest at all at this time.

I see CRO, ADA, and MATIC as the best altcoins for 2023.
Yeah, I agree with this more than other lists by OP.
But, I will like only ADA and Matic. They are potential enough for long-term investment, moreover for bullrun preparation, hopefully.

Doge coin isn't to be joked with anymore, Dogecoin is going to be very profitable investment next bull market, it doesn't matter if dogecoin is a memecoin or not but still it'll be among the top gainers because Elon musk will use his platform to boost the price of doge coin. All cryptocurency will not follow the full steps of Bitcoin, most altcoins would but we'll have others that wouldn't.
When Bitcoin will be experiencing a correction in the market, this coins will be pumping instead of dumping as other cryptocurency will be dumping. Bitcoin gives investors trust to invest in other altcoins because when Bitcoin is pumping the whole market will benefit from that movements. We don't have to only invest in Bitcoin and if we want to make big profits, we have to invest in altcoins.
Altcoins, they're the ones that has the potential to give us life changing money when they pump during the bull market. Instead of chosing to invest in only Bitcoin or altcoins, why don't we invest in both. If we have the money we should buy many altcoins and also buy more Bitcoin so whenever any of them pumps we can make profits by selling and waiting to buy them again.

Of the 4 altcoins listed by OP, I only have Ethereum which is still the altcoin that I hold tight to this day. for the other three I have not dared to buy it. But lately I've started to get interested in Chainlink. But I haven't found any good stuff that can convince me to accumulate it.

Regarding Dogecoin, for the short term I quite often buy this memecoin. Especially a few days ago when Elon spoke on Twitter. Well I just went with the hype and threw it away when the hype died down. And we can't expect much with memecoin. As well as gaining the advantage with fast hands by having to have an early call and make a move before anyone else makes a move.

Cause it is not possible to store all potential coins. Well rest of 3 also good. Even i invested in doge and it showing good result. I think no need to talk about eth and ada anyhow. But bnb, xrp also deserve position in your list

Which Altcoin to Buy in 2023 (https://parofix.com/threads/which-altcoin-to-buy-in-2023.1571/)

With the potential for Bitcoin to reach new highs in 2023, many investors are looking to invest in alternative cryptocurrencies, or altcoins. There are hundreds of altcoins on the market, and each one has its own unique characteristics and potential.

Some of the most popular altcoins to watch in 2023 include Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC), and Polkadot (DOT). Ethereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap and is often referred to as “the world computer” due to its ability to run decentralized applications and smart contracts. Binance Coin is the native cryptocurrency of the popular Binance (https://parofix.com/forums/binance.393/) exchange and is used to pay for trading fees and other services. Cardano is a blockchain-based platform that is focused on providing financial services to the unbanked. Litecoin is a Bitcoin fork and is often referred to as “the silver to Bitcoin (https://parofix.com/)’s gold”. Lastly, Polkadot is a cross-chain protocol that enables the transfer of data and value between different blockchains.

true friend.  but personally I am more daring to invest in one coin, and in this case I prefer eth.  My reason is very simple, namely because I have very little capital so I don't want the capital I have to be broken up because of investing in lots of coins.

I would say ETH is definitely correct and should be considered a good profit maker without a doubt. We should consider BNB as a good one as well. That's the two I guarantee you that will be greater when the bull run starts, it will definitely be a good thing. However, the rest I am not sure about, link? avax? doge? I can certainly get doge out of that list, that's going to be a terrible one without a doubt.

I would put Litecoin there and take out link as well if I can. That way I would be left with 4, but I would say that if you insist on altcoins, that would be a wrong move and you should put in bitcoin as well. That way, bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, litecoin all makes four and you should be making a great return.

from what was mentioned above it seems I will only take ethereum as an investment until waiting for the bullish season to come, the rest there are several separate altcoin choices that I use to invest including bnb, polygon and litecoin. In this case I'm not really chasing the increase to 100x as might be the case with a new altcoin or meme coin, but because I find it hard to make money, I prefer the safety of my funds, and I think investing in multiple altcoins is worth it , with the result we will get later

I also agree with you about Ethereum and Avalanche. You probably can't go far wrong with Ethereum and it will certainly be one of the winners in the next bull market. Avalanche still has to prove itself here, but I think the good cooperations and the possibility of subnets are promising. I would also keep my hands off Dogecoin. At most, I could imagine that there could be a small bull run if Twitter allows payment with cryptocurrencies and one of these tokens could be Dogecoin.

Ethereum has been tested over time but honestly, I'd like it more if it didn't change its algorithm from PoW to PoS and it just stayed being a PoW. There's more security on it and that's what's the better thing in the long run in projects like Ethereum. We've see how it grown and that's why there's already a trust in the community despite that it's one of the controversial as well because it's said to be semi-centralized which has been claimed to be a decentralized project. But anyway, we don't have to dig down deep with that because most of the projects that has developers will have to go in the category for being centralised no matter how good they are.

It will be very important as usual to make good selections of our coins and while Bitcoin is looking very bullish right now, holding some Altcoins is very important because in a bull run, Altcoins are frequently outperforming Bitcoin because of new technology and innovation.
Here are my selections:

1# AVALACHE

Avalanche can really have huge potential and increase in price massively.

2# ETHEREUM

Ethereum has achieved PoS in 2022, making it a top contender against Bitcoin's PoW when combatting climate change.

3# DOGECOIN

Dogecoin is an original coin and has been around for a very long time. Dogecoin is very famous because of Doge and it will always attract some people to buy it.

4# CHAINLINK

Chainlink is a relatively new Coin and it gained interest quickly.

After all, coins are always speculative but my examples mentioned above are in my opinion a good selection.
We don't know about profits but in a bull market, Avalanche, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Chainlink could perform very well.

What's your Altcoin to look at in 2023?

so now that we are nearing 4th quarter of the year, are you still believing in what you consider the best altcoins for 2023 because for me there are some inconsiderable part of the post.
though i completely supported EThereum in terms of long term not for this short term of 2023.
but there are still few months left , lets see what comes you.

Out of the 4 listed I would only but Chainlink. For me, it's a buy at anything under 7usd and since they are partnered with Swift, I legitimately think that 1000 usd is doable. I also like Fantom, Polygon, and Q Blockchain compared to Ethereum. I'm no longer bullish on Ethereum. Doge, it could do well with the whole X Twitter thing but I think they will release their own X token for that.

Your analysis is appreciable but don't know why you mixed memecoin doge in that list! Most of people don't want to add memecoin in their portfolio, same for me also as its more likely gambling. Well i already have those coin as well as bnb and some others coins in my portfolio. And i think all of those coins have less risk but more positive vibes and will be blasted during bull run, although no surety about dogecoin, rather bnb/matic could take doge's place

What if Elon added Doge as a payment method for his rebranded Twitter? He already announced that he wanted to let Twitter users do anything on the platform. Anything means literally anything like online shopping, making payments, on-ramps and off-ramps from crypto, and more financial services we can think of. If he announces Doge as one of the alternative currencies in his new platform X, this will bring millions of dollars into the Doge marketcap. This won't be a meme-only project.

All this is just speculation, so we need to wait for it to be confirmed.

That is just a speculation mate. What if that won't happened ever? Elon musk is sharp minded player who always try to create hype and take benefit from it and later it comes about the world he cares. Even Elon had added btc for tesla payment method but later he refused to accept it as btc along with crypto, is very much vulnerable. When doge is still a memecoin. Maybe it could be profitable investment in future but we shouldn’t say it is in top 4 best coin in 2023 as op said or we shouldn’t invest it for sure as potential coin base on any speculation. But if anyone interested, he will responsible for his decision. So dyor again before finalized

Elon can do whatever he wants in the future, but right now he is backing Doge. Doge is a meme coin, which makes it a super risky asset for investment -so it needs to be more than a meme coin. Elon says he has a plan for it, so if he is true to his word, Doge can be more than just a meme coin in the future.

to be honest dogecoin is as irrelevant as ever nowadays, I just don't think it will rise.
it should be replaced with coin like layerzero token which gonna be released, then it will be good list, even the fact that layerzero token hasn't been out yet many have already anticipated it, which only means that its gonna be massive from here on, the supply will definitely far smaller that the demand meaning it will gain massive increase the first second it got listed just like any other good quality token out there.
in which in this case, if you could somehow could get some of the token through investment, it will be massive for your investment and will give you chance to grow your capital significantly.

true, there is no restriction to go with ethereum investment as this time we can expect from eth to break all privious price barrier. But rest of 3altcoins listed by op, can be a matter of discussion. Doge is memecoin but its privious chart analysis is good than others altcoins. if anyone interested to change the luck  by taking high risk, then doge could be an option. Ada suppose to be promising to me, i could think about it as an investment but avalanche still can't able to convince me buying it

It seems to me that any altcoins can be chosen as an investment. The bear market has been going on for a few years now and prices of many coins have fallen below the last bottom. So if you do a good research on some of the projects that have been on the market for a long time, it can bring a good profit in the future. Bitcoin and ethereum are of course the most reliable coins, but the profit from them can be much less than from other projects.

There are many top altcoins to look at in this year 2023, and there are clear evidence that I will achieve a huge amount of money before the end of next year which the price of all those altcoins will increase higher in the future. I don't have any doubt about Ethereum, BNB, Solana because they are in a good position to display what will give their investors encouragement to hold until the right time to release the altcoins to the market come before they can do so to enable them to achieve a passive income. Those altcoins I just mentioned has a good record that is giving investors the confidence to invest and hold like 1or 2 years before they can sell to achieve their capital back and add  incomes to it.

do the support and holders will have their piece of cake when all comes to happen, because that is what most of XRP holders look at.

if you are going to buy now and yes will keep it , I think this will not took you 2 years because Bullrun is happening
any time next year , so you only have to hold a long 1 year before tasting that fruit though I already lose my confidence in SOL instead
what i have now is Cardano and yes Ethereum and Binance .

For Sure I have some of them I can say AVAX and I'm holding it for the better pump since the market is in good rhythm and I can expect some decent and good profit from it. Also, there are not that many users on this chain, most probably users work on other chains like Optimism and Arbitrum for now a days.
Also, Ethereum I have and I'm holding it for a bit, not for the whole but I small portion of it for the right time, because I have also that in holding since 1 year as I can also have some other coins like BNB which I hold for a long term and I had expected more profit from these coins because these coins are using everywhere and have some great utilities in all aspects.

Doge coin happens to be my fav amongst all altcoins I have come across I'm recent times, because it has a very good potential of good volatility that will definitely profit it's investors in few years to come, this was Sean few years back immediately after it's much where it did above 10x in three days, early buyers were really profitable as a result.

Other altcoins just like you did mentioned could as well have good and wonderful potential for the nearest future but I  personally prefer doge coin as I'm already used to it's eco system and understand it's dynamics to some extent, mind you I don't trade doge I only hodl, that has been my pattern to almost all crypto I ever invested in.

For altcoins, Ethereum is surely the number 1, it is always the priority to buy. Everyone knows that Ethereum is the king of altcoins, it is the safest altcoin to invest in for a long term holding. Avalanche and Chainlink aren't bad altcoins, but they are not very convincing if we want to hold a long time. If we don't want to take too high risks, we are better to choose Ethereum only.

Newer altcoins aren't recommended for now. Whether they are created on Binance or Ethereum chains, both of them are very risky. If we have no mentality of a strong holder, simply avoid to buy any new altcoin.

I agree with you. Ethereum can be said to be the queen of altcoins because if the king is bitcoin, among the many altcoins in my portfolio there are only two besides btc of course there is eth. Because for me Ethereum is an incredible fundamental chain. So many benefits.

But whatever it is, it is important for all of us in investing in altcoins to know the basic strategies that can help them in their trading. This requires many things, in order to avoid experiencing losses due to lack of skills in handling their trades. Lastly, I think Eth's next Bull run will be at 8k, Unless something big happens.

I think there are a lot of altcoins that are worth considering in 2023, but if the OP is prioritizing only 4 altcoins, I will describe the coins that I prioritize the most and coincidentally are still stored in my portfolio right now, including ethereum, binance, avalanche , and chainlink, maybe I think everyone is also prioritizing the altcoins that I mentioned to take into account in 2023 or even 2024, because these coins have big fundamentals and influence in the crypto world.

I think, you will achieve a good income when the price of all those altcoins increase higher in this month of November, because they have performed well last three years that made their investors to experienced massive pumping through out the period that gave their investors full confident to invest in this bearish season. Ethereum is a good choice you have made, because once the price of Bitcoin is increasing in the market, Ethereum will be increasing too to maintain second position among other altcoins in the market, and their teams are more active to make their investors feel good at the end of their investment. I noticed something few hours ago when the price of Bitcoin hit back $37,431, and other altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, LINK start increasing too, show that their investors that want to sell before the end of this year, will still embrace their target soon.

I am only interested in 3 altcoins, namely ETH, BNB, XRP and these three coins are currently in my portfolio. and I only paid in installments to buy these three coins apart from bitcoin because I researched these three coins myself which had the potential to increase and give me profits during the bull market. It's not that I'm not interested in other altcoins, but I'm just researching these 3 coins and studying them. I don't want to buy altxoins that I don't know about in order to reduce the risk of rugpull or something else. What do you think?

ETHEREUM already established itself for dominating cryptocurrency for long period and still new players are fail to beat it. There's no issue with it, safe & secure. After then, the discussion is started he here with rest of three. CHAINLINK seems good to me and could be an good choice for long holding. Recently its performance is impressive. AVALACHE suppose to bd good but it has many issue and many unknown reason why i can't fully trust it. Same for dogecoin, i don't know the next step of elon. He is as wise as dangerous when it comes to money making

Undoubtedly ETH is worthy investment in your portfolio but i'm a bit confused to consider to hold BNB until the next bull run because it’s faced a charged in SEC investigation. So i'm quitted BNB to my portfolio until the result of case. XRP is good coin in my opinion though i am not holding it.

All of those belongs top altcoins which already largest marketcap including heavy numbers of investors who are optimistic about those al altcoins. No naturally those altcoins will pump at the certain time, which is known to all. Even doge is still looking okey among those, although it'll be downfall once if elon change his mind. Thats the reason why meme coins are already for risky and shouldn't desire or set y expectations from it. Avalanche might be good but it won't be bad if you choice bnb/sol/matic instead of it but at the end, diversification is wise idea for investment

Bnb is developing more fastest than others altcoins like avalache chainlink even dogecoin. Only unable to beat Ethereum. Even sol should be also in this list, especially when solana is become the game changer with its faster pump which was unpredictable. Well this reviews are helpful as we can have more information about those altcoins which could play important role before investment. But Avalanche doesn't seems good to me and I don't research much about Chainlink too

This is the only one that stays in my pocket up to now , though I used to have Dogecoin back in the days but since it was completely manipulated I decide to leave it and change for other altcoins.

Ethereum is one of the safest coin for me , though it is not increasing like other altcoins yet this is the best coin for me.

What's your Altcoin to look at in 2023?

I speculate on the altcoins that give us maximum profit when the market rises, namely ETH and SOL, especially in my opinion, eth, I'm sure if the ETF ETF approves and alt season arrives, eth could break its all time high again and rise 3-5x, what's more, eth could be said to be the king of what do you think of altcoin and bitcoin killer? I'm just speculating do your own research too

It's now a year that has passed for this thread and I think that still everything he has said are still relevant nowadays. And before the bull run comes, those who have been holding it will still have a space on this market. I hold Ethereum from that list but I think of the rest are good hold and as for having that meme coin, Dogecoin. It's one of the best meme coins out there that one can hold but I don't think that it will be again going up as high as its former ATH.

You are right that even though it was hit by a storm of problems that were quite surprising and were corrected, it was finally able to recover, and BNB has proven that it deserves to be one of the choices when entering the Altseason later. Likewise, SOL, which was a surprise at the beginning of October, has continued to increase sharply until now, a sign that SOL also wants to contribute to being able to move in time.but I agree that if you compare them with Ethereum, of course the main choice will fall on it because this is the best altcoin to date. But if I choose to invest, I will drop it on BNB. Besides,  the price is still affordable compared to ethereum, and BNB always surprises me if it reaches a new ATH.
