Title: Looking for Investors for my Upcoming PvP crypto Casino
Post by: vilely on February 16, 2023, 04:22:24 PM
Hi, Im a 18 year old owner of a upcoming PvP crypto Casino, the casino is almost finished, but we are still looking for investors for the hotwallet and other costs like 2 new game modes we are planning. This might seems sketchy because im new to this forum but im known on another forum (ogu.gg) https://imgur.com/a/fcwV1it will confirm it if you are interested. If you are interested in Investing contact me on discord or telegram for more information about the project. By investing in our Project you will receive an amount of % from the casino. We already raised 800$ but are still looking for investors to launch as soon as possible. The current games are Crash, Shuffle, Cups and wheel but we are currently working on Plinko and Mines. The site has VIP system, provably fair, live support, phone verification, chat trivia, races, affiliate system, coupons. We need 5k to get everything started.
By investing you will of corse receive admin rights on the site/admin panel. The team has experience in PvP crypto casino with cups.gg we use the same script as cups.gg as a basis but ofc everything changed to our site preferences since we have the same developer but we are working on adding Plinko and mines to our site at the time.

It's not easy to convince investors in this way I think. Other day, I was in contact with someone as I had a few clients who were interested in such investment. But it didn't go well for a lot of reason including trustworthiness.
You should wait few more years before diving into this, save money for the project and then launch the project. That would be best approach I think.

I think it's okay to post your progress on the site and the plans you are going to make. It's good to lay this out in order to attract possible investors into your PvP crypto casino. Saying that you are known in another forum and not showing anything will repel investors.

Good luck on your project!

PvP crypto Casino is cool. But your damn right it's sketchy, especially to the users in the forum who encounter scams all the time. You are not even sure if you could get an investor here even if you be transparent like telling which 2 new game modes and the link to your casino. But who knows.

It's one cold welcome message but you are still 18 though, I bet you have tons of teen friends who can chip in. This way you all literally know together, maybe even neighbors for a long time.

I'd suggest moving this (guide on how to move a topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5265053.0)) or starting up a similar topic on the Securities section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=78.0) since that's one of the places where others look for people that could support their project.

I also agree with Little Mouse because right now there are a few crypto casinos that are willing to accept bankroll investments. It's going to be hard to find a good reason why they should invest here instead of a reputable casino.

IMO, you are gonna to have a hard time for collecting a fund.

800$ bankroll from your self are not gonna to make a confident/trust to the client/investor, "CASINO" business should have a high bankroll by your self. Then, If you feel not enough you can find some partner, created a token, or investment scheme based the profit from your self.

However, based the explanation fund from your post. It's gonna be hard.

If he could provide detailed informations about his project and his reputation on this thread it would be much easier for potential investors to decide if it worth to invest or not. To mention he is a member of ogu.gg forum isn't enough, because most members of bitcointalk aren't part of that community, so they don't have an account there to check OP's reputation and probably won't create one solely for that purpose.

I advise you to approach lenders to borrow instead not looking to investors in online. I don't think anyone here will be interested to invest to a casino that has not even completed it creation. Even your age you mentioned is not even encouraging to own a casino company, because at that your age you supposed to focus on reading your school books if you are in school.

Op you did not mentioned the % amount the investor will receive at the end of the deal and that is also wrong and If the $800 is for the start up then you can manage it with just a game. And you add more games to the $800 only one person will win it all and you will run as lost. So if you really want to run a trust casino go and take loan.

Hi, Im a 18 year old owner of a upcoming PvP crypto Casino,

You're beginning early, good for you, but since you're youg and with no previous projects it's not going to make people jump from their seats to give you money.

This might seems sketchy because im new to this forum

Yes it does. New, young, inexperienced guy and already asking for money without showing any achievements.
I wouldn't hire you if you came to my home asking if you can cut my lawn. I'd have to see your gear first and I'd know if you're for real or full of shit.

We already raised 800$ but are still looking for investors to launch as soon as possible.

How much do you need? Are you trying to start a casino with only a few hundred bucks of your own money? As an investor, I'd expect the owner to have at least 50% of the total budget. If you came to me asking for it all I'd offer you a beer and walk you out the door.

I actually got a few projects, not casino related but I’m on other forums and made money, I put up the link to my profile on my other forum in the post. We need around 5k to run everything, we have someone (the dev) who has experience in running a crypto PvP casino and it’s not that we only have the 800$, I could pump around 1k in it from the money I earned on ogu.gg which I will probably do.

Providing the link to to other forum that will verify that you are trusted there will help you gain some trust on the user here. There’s a lot of scam here so it will be very hard for you to get an investors for casino that has no info.
Provide complete details of the casino, drafts of terms and proof that will show how we can trust you our money is a must for a user here invest on your casino.
Thank you for hitting the nail very hard. You see OP wants investors for his upcoming casino which has no details about it. Why hiding the details of the casino if you are looking for investors? Which investor do you think would pick interest in this offer of yours with you withholding the details from the public which does not make any sense. As long as you want investors, it is no more a private investment and therefore it is required that you make the details public for investors review otherwise you will be seen as one with ill motive or tagged a scammer.

A few reasons I can think of on why someone will invest here is that this was still a fresh casino and we know that a lot of people are hunting about it. The games are also exciting, it was PVP. Many gamblers want to earn a profit so they mostly play on skill based games because skills can matter the most on there so this PVP based casino is perfect for them.

Only the reputation is difficult to prove here but the team can do something about it like they can do a KYC so that investors can report them if ever they will run away with their money. If the team is doxxed, they will be discouraged to do a shady act because they can't run or hide anymore.

Hello there, and welcome to our forum!

I think it's great to hear that you're working on a PvP crypto casino, especially at such a young age. It's always inspiring to see young people taking initiative and pursuing tangible goals. However, as you mentioned, it's important to ensure that potential investors feel confident in the legitimacy of your project. While you mentioned that you're known on another forum, it might be helpful to provide more information about your project and your experience in the industry. From what I've seen, your focus up to this point appears to have primarily been centered around selling gaming accounts. Have you had any prior experience as a developer, and do you have any tangible projects or examples to demonstrate your skills?

Put the link where you have a good trust and try to put more details about the progress and about the site here so we the interested investor can know what exactly you are doing and for them to see if its worth it or not. There’s a lot of scam project which makes the investors be more cautious when it comes to investing, you must share your credibility here and expect nothing. Good luck and hope to see your project here soon.

in my opinion you are starting off on the wrong foot, imagine that tomorrow you are going to the bank to ask for a loan for your project, how would you make a presentation at the bank?

you here in the forum need to give relevant details, for example:

- show a photo of your project

- talk about how many people you have on your team and who they are (you should not post their real name, but post their first name) and what their roles are

- how much has already been invested and how much each person has invested and how much of the total you need to invest

- what is the expected revenue, what is the operating cost and what is the expected profit

these are important data that you need to talk about them

Im not saying that you are lying but providing out some screenshot of some profile on other platform doesnt really increase out the trust that you are really that needing or something that make people believe that

all of the things you do say is legit. You didnt even bother on having a screenshot of the said casino at least.Provide more solid proof like some admin panel screenshot which would coincide with the gambling site that you are talking but in overall when it comes to money or something like this, then it would really be that hard to get some investors online or randomly because its something that
cant really be  that just possible most of the time due to some trust issues.Lots of scammers are lurking around.

Have you tried looking for an investor that is within your circle?
I find it more easy to gather funds and of course they can also help you manage this casinos since its still requires a lot of attentions and management strategy that you might not be able to meet once you go live. Update the OP, with your most rewarding offer and your future plans, probably someone is already looking into this and just waiting for more details.

This is the way to go, to enable trust from the community, you must first show us the development of the project.  I am sure lots of people in this forum has the money to contribute to your plan but the problem is the question if they can trust you.

Introducing yourself, and showing the development of your project might probably touch some people, or you can create a tokenized casino where you sell tokens as part of your fundraising (some casinos had done that).  So asking for funds directly from some people is somehow frowned upon by many members since scams are everywhere and this forum isn't exempted on that.

This is what I am thinking, since he mentioned he is a trusted user of another forum.
Why not ask also from those forum members about this project and see if he can get some support?
Much easier to ask assistance if you already know the community, however, hard to get some financial support from this forum if your profile is not yet established.
Besides, we haven't seen much pvp-based casinos to really hit it off. So that's the worry of potential investors, how can they have a lil bit of assurance
that this project will be different from previous ones?

Providing a link of the platform won't still be enough for meticulous investors. Other credibility would  be better such as projects you have handled 'coz even if you are a trusted person, if this is your first gambling platform to develop, then things would still be hard for you to convince people especially investors. It is money we are talking about and for sure they won't let go of their funds too easy. Overall sustainability and accessibility would be factors for them to look at for them to avoid worries of losing money eventually once things cannot be sustained in your platform  Therefore, introducing a platform should be more detailed and organized. This is likewise with job application; prove to them you deserve their trust.

You're right, there's no enough and tangible proof given by OP which makes it more difficult to him as well in getting suitors that will help join together with him with investment, there must be a proper information given and how he intends them coming in, he's being retaining some vital information as aspect of what's been needed for for request, no one will want to invest on what has no proof of stake or where to fall back on should incase of anything, couldn't it be better that OP should forget about the old one and build on a new project and seek for those who will join him in doing so, provided that he gave full details on the former he started with proper references.

^My advice to you is to run your business here first to gain progress and at the same time trust the community, you cannot blame them if you can't get their trust because that is mandatory before trusting someone else to put your money as an investment. Look around, nobody believes in you because you are a newbie that does not have the credibility to ask for financial interest here.
However, why not did you not ask for help with cups.gg for financial matters?

You can keep on saying that over and over again but it won't still work. It will not appeal to any investors just presenting the past works especially if it "was" which means it didn't work out for them, right? What if this project goes the same way and their money is stuck without even reaching the ROI yet?
Try to be on the investors' foot.
They will be giving away money to an unknown person (personally) and just trust the process. Scary, right?
So many scams had been happening all over the crypto world and all the investors could do is protect themselves because there was really no police that will help them if this goes south. Make it more attractive, there must be another way.

Not to discourage you but with what I have seen on the forum coming from these types of crowdfunding, it doesn't really go well for the owner to find prospects as investors to their companies.

There will be a lot of questions thrown to you and that will be on how they will know you better. It's a mix of good and bad thoughts as even if you're reputable at the other forums, it's not going to be suffice.

I still wish you luck and hopefully, you find your partners in here.

For so many scams already happened here for sure you will get a hard time to convince people here to invest with your project. People here are result oriented so maybe they want to see a working product before they spend some money to invest on a project.

So maybe much better to pursue the project then launch it and once you got a reputation as other says then maybe by that time you can convince people to invest and not to doubt on your intentions.

Regardless of anything, maybe try to consider introducing that casino first to your locals or within your circle.

It will be difficult to just find an interested investor here for a gambling site, especially for a Brand New account.

Maybe from there, by marketing it in your local place, you can somehow lure those who are knowledgeable in that industry and the rest will be history.

lately many newbie accounts have come to make threads to find investors to create a casino site, why don't you look for a loan with someone close to you or borrow from a BANK to make it easier, I think it will waste your time because it's impossible for many people to put money and take it for granted, so I hope you find another way apart from this forum

What you have said is true, because investors who are old and experienced will investigate all the information about the platform they are going to invest in, they will even reset in a few moments all the details regarding the platform.
Investors also don't want to be in the wrong place when investing, they don't want to lose or even lose money on an investment in a new project.
Maybe the OP has to go through a lot of development first and prove that the project he is holding is indeed feasible and profitable if investors make it their place to invest. That way, he can easily gain the trust of many investors.

Probably the same thing will happen with this new (I prefer to say rebranded) project.
You claim that you have raised $800, is this from investors you get out of this forum or it is your own bankroll?
Now you have just started but seems that you are not ready to run your project properly with enough funds.
I dont get why many people try to own a casino but forget that huge amount of funds is required, and try to ask people to be investors.

Since you claim to be the owner of the casino you mentioned to help you proved that your offer is legit why not create a page on your casino and post your offer there with a link here in this Bitcointalk thread
The site you mentioned is not yet finished so putting a page for verification will have no bad effect.

But if I were in your position, I will invite close friends or people coming from my location so we can contact and talk personally about our plans for the casino.
And by the way, Investors of online platforms should be aware that whoever owns the domain and the host has full control and authority over the platform.

You got that wrong, the site im trusted own is currently down since yesterday evening because of a ddos attack, also i tried to reach people in my location but no one is interested in that kinda stuff they are all still playing video games and arent into such things

I?m sorry it sounds like cups.gg wasn?t successful, it was but the team was from Libanon and at that time they got problems with the banks so they couldn?t pay out and then got into financial problems and closed the site.

No, the old project was because the banks frozed, the 800$ i raised is from the money I earned on ogu.gg, yeah i know we dont have enough funds thats why im looking for investors

I think it will still be early for you to launch your site without polishing everything. You don't have to rush things out if you still don't have enough funds to start it out. I guess it will be better if you'll have enough funds before attracting investors because to be honest, investors will doubt the future of your site. They will surely find it risky if you'll start out a crypto casino without polishing everything first.

Yeah, but ogu.gg is not a forum for collection investors, I asked my developer and he said that this site would be a good place to find investors, he was the owner of cups.gg idk if he posted here.
But even thou this forum is the best place to find investors just as you were told, presentation actually really matters, because it is by your presentation that people will either pick interest into your project or not, which in this case, all we could see is that you said you are working on a p2p platform and needs investors, same way an ordinary scammer will do, which is creating doubt into many users on this thread including mine. Because if I'm to rate this, I will score you 1/10, simply because I expected you O.P to have provided more details, e.g link to your project, a screenshot, and background features to actually proof that you are the real owner and what benefit will an investors stand to gain by investing in this project.

If I understood you correctly, the PvP casino project is close to completion. I would love to learn more about it, and I was wondering if you could share the website with us so we can take a closer look? I may have missed it if you already shared the link somewhere, so my apologies if that is the case. I'd love to get a better sense of the project and its potential. I am particularly interested in seeing the visual design of the site, as well as the functional design and layout.

The team has experience in PvP crypto casino with cups.gg we use the same script as cups.gg as a basis but ofc everything changed to our site preferences since we have the same developer but we are working on adding Plinko and mines to our site at the time.

for now it seems a bit difficult to find investors to cooperate in your business while you only have $ 800 which may be a bit difficult for investors to believe.
because with a small bankroll, investors doubt that if something happens, will the bankroll be able to cover all problems or losses if they occur.

and currently there are so many casinos that require investor funding support for business development but in the end it's just a scam.

but if indeed you are trying to really want to find investors and grow your business, you better be a little patient and more detailed in explaining anything about your goals.

Who is going to have control over these invested funds? You? All of your staff? You and the dev who makes the wallet?
Your ogu profile will not make people trust you. What if I wanted 1k USD from you and said that I can show you my Amazon account as proof that I haven't scammed anyone?

I guess you won't find investors here. You can try to borrow money from a forum member but they will require collateral. Maybe try some conventional routes of raising money and if that doesn't help maybe try gofundme ;)

There are a lot of reasons why potential investors will not consider your offer:

1. You are too young, and might not have enough experience nor expertise in the field which is not a very good thing for a business.
2. All you say are only words, and there's nothing solid that should make someone even consider some options after reading this post.
3. People fall into a lot of scammers and spammers through Telegram and many other channels, so people don't really tend to just take a username and starting messaging them before they can see some authenticity.
4. Your current capital is too small and doesn't really make it sound like you are serious about this whole thing.

We need 5k to get everything started.

To be frank mate, 5k usd is nothing if you want to run a gambling site. For a gambling site, you need atleast 50k usd to get started. I am really afraid that someone will really take you seriously and invest on your site. Moreover what equity of the casino are you giving to the investor if he invests 5k usd at your casino? Moreover you will also do a legal contract or not? Also have you tried to raise any other investments? At last I Would suggest you to physically meet big people; and explain them your business idea, then only you can able to raise some big funds. In this online world no one will trust in your business.

You will be lucky to attract investors who are interested in your project. As we all know, there are plenty of scams out there, so people will be very careful about whom they trust with their money. I believe that reputation is crucial in building trust, so if you don't have a good reputation yet, it will be difficult to gain the trust of potential investors.

Also, being young means that you lack the experience that comes with running a successful business, which is a factor that investors look for when deciding to invest. Please don't take this personally, as this is just my personal opinion. Anyway, I wish you good luck.

I think if you're just looking for $5k, asking for a loan would probably be more than enough, instead of looking for investors. I also hardly doubt any investor would bother investing if the amount you'd only need is $5k, maybe if the plan was set up for much more into the future instead and with better details and the like, then maybe. You can then also receive a lot more depending on the talks behind it, and setup marketing, promotions, and whatnot with the money involved, not just simply for development purposes.

Anw, goodluck!

OP, even if you visit a loan shark location the first question that will pop up is going to be about your past experience, do you have any? Have you ever worked on any casino platform before? Anyone that's still running at all? I doubt that judging by your age, you are too young for this, why don't you take your time and work very slowly? You don't have to rush this up, no investors will want to invest with an 18year old, give it time and keep working for now, when the time is right you can take a loan yourself or ask people around you for help.

I checked the site out, looks ok but not anything amazing, i understand that it a new site that's pretty still under construction, you should build a homepage though, where important information about the casino can be see and read by visitors, and also the list of games and payment mode accepted by the casino, currently, it seems the crash game page is the default home page, that does not look nice.

Anyways, that's just my two cents, and concerning your request, i personally do not think you would find an investor from this forum largely due to the fact that you are a newbie here, if you were a Hero or Legendary, finding users to help fund your project would have been much easier depending on how popular you are on the forum and how much trust other users have in you, Right now, what i can advice you do i seek a loan from close friends, family members or even your bank, this is if you really have full faith in what you are building, get a loan from the bank and fund your project, casinos are very lucrative business and paying $5000 plus a small interest should be much of a hassle as soon your casino is fully launched.

Have you regretted that you open a thread like this people are giving bad feedback because your funding is too small for a casino to operate and you did not have enough bankroll if ever there's a guy who wins a big amount and you don't have funds to pay because you don't have enough allocated funds.
You have exposed sensitive information about your casino and that is the lack of funding, maybe things will be different when you say you got a $100k loan but then again people will ask you to show the proof.
I hope you can launch the site recover your funding and make profit.

It's great to know that you're starting at a young age. I watch few videos of a show with "dragons" I forgot the exact title of the show, and from that I think this pitch won't be enough to convince investors to take the risk. But if you can convince them privately, then you're good.
It'll be better too if you let us know the name of your casino, js there any reason why you're not telling us?

Anyways, good luck!

I also suggested that he could get more money from the loan, depending on the collateral. Of course, it can give you money faster to start your plan than borrowing or looking for investors because it requires trust before the investor sends money to you. In addition, if you borrow money from a bank or other, you won't be able to mess around or get away from the bill because they have recorded or stored your identity.

With that capital, he can start building his business and promote it, even promote it in this forum to get new customers. Or he can use other sites to find prospects.

Welcome to Bitcointalk forum and hope you enjoy this platform from this day onward. I am not against PVP gambling sites or platforms but I would like to know or if possible answer a question. What makes you think that this PVP casino will survive for a long time or for as long as it survive?. Honestly, I don't see a lot of gambling sites that are PVP or focus on that one and survived for too long also I haven't check or make a research on what PVP casino are you going to run so, just think of this as my opinion. If you want an advice or a suggestion then I think that you should run a casino that is not focus on PVP entirely rather run a casino just like the other casinos out there but the difference is that your casino also have PVP type of gambling. I think your going to need a lot of investors as running a casino or a gambling site needs decent amount of money or should I say a lot of money especially for bankroll (you get what I mean).

because like what said above it is not easy to ask people here to invest in this project of yours and in your other post you mentioned that you are generating funds? then maybe take your time waiting and getting your own .

When there are sites that are under construction and have a good development, I have no choice but to wish them much success.

Regarding investors, it is something that can be achieved here in the forum, but you have to be quite honest with the person who wants to do business with you, because that person will invest capital and basically believe in you and your project, they will be a partner. important, in this aspect you should talk to him about money and numbers as well as other important things based on his investment such as ROI, closing a deal like this would be one of the best luck you can have, I hope it happens and that it can be a great platform.

Here's a piece of advice. You're gonna need much much more than the amount you're planning to raise. Pockets as deep as the Pacific ocean.

As you mentioned VIP membership, once they come, their losses are gonna be as large as their wins. And once that happens, your budget is gonna be ripped to shreds.

I've seen that happen several times to other competitors, even as a casino representative myself. You really won't want to experience it firsthand.

You are missing the point. What's stopping a highroller from depositing let's say, 1.5 BTC and wagering it in one go in a game of roulette?

If he loses, good for you. But if he wins, how are you going to honor his payout of 3 BTC?

My personal opinion is that if you want to stake, then one of the best options is Fairspin. Their TFStoken has a high APR of, if I’m not mistaken - 535%, I recouped 2 times this year, and the site itself is comfortable.

I don't know about the impossibilities you encounters from your other forum that you couldn't get the investors ventures empowerments that you seeks here so sudden that you just came to the forum.
I can tell you that there are willing investors who would be interested to venture with your betting platform but honestly, until benefits of doubt is been cleared out it would be possibly uneasy to get one outstanding.

First to gain what you asks for here, the necessity of reputable and some extend of transparencies would be an advantageous convincious. In the moment, you stand to advertise about your personal ventures and so, you need to go some further details with some tips of proofs.
Nevertheless, there are terms and nature of financial business affairs that there is no barriers in a public negotiation just as a nature of this and so it there is also an extend of further negotiations that demands it a private one.
So @ OP, I don't know if anyone has reached out to you yet as demanded, but I do suspects it would be possible uneasy because certain levels about your ventures that is to be publicly made known is yet to be .
However, I wish you good luck.
