Title: Monitor real time hash rates on Antminer S1
Post by: Trends on March 28, 2014, 03:15:56 PM
Can anyone enlighten me as to the possibility of monitoring real time hash rates either per board or per block of 8, or at individual chip level of the Bitmain S1?
Is it possible for this to be done thru cgmimer?
Would like to "tune" (for the future) by lowering voltage supply to the chips and would really like to watch in real time the hast rate while monitoring the current.

Thanks

Maybe I posted this question in the wrong forum or maybe the way I want to monitor can't be done!
Any suggestions anyone?

sure just run cgremote and boost the refresh rate.

I imagine you ask because you want to do something like pencil mod one board, or one section of chips, to see the difference?

AFAIK there is no way to do this. Your best method would be to record the 20min average at current setings, then change and re-record 20min average.  If you have a few machines you can try different changes on each to see the differences.

but no, i dont think there is any way to monitor more accurately than the entire S1 hashrate

I have the cgremote beta, what API port do you listen to for your Bitfury rigs?

4028 is default for cgminer.

I'll have a look at that cgremote software Solarion and thanks for taking the time to reply.

klondike_bar I am actually taking out the resistor and replacing with a pot so I can go to 1.2V and back down to .75V at will. maybe even tune each back of 8 to match each other LOL
