If someone needs/wants a loan and can repay, then he has the right to ask for it. Same as if someone trusts him to repay it is their right to loan him. Either way it's none of your business.Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: macson on March 07, 2023, 10:11:49 AM there are people here asking for a loan every week why is that? mnightwaffle 🥱 you can ask that to the lenders. Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: examplens on March 07, 2023, 10:14:25 AM there are people here asking for a loan every week why is that? mnightwaffle I'm not sure what exactly you don't understand here. you as a default lending troll, who make half of your useless posts in the lending section, ask questions about what others are doing here. I'm pretty sure that you don't even know that there are other parts of this forum, you're only interested in the lending section because you somehow thought that free money is being distributed here. You've already been told countless times that you won't get a loan here, and anyone with at least a little bit of personal integrity would give up asking for money here after that. Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: ps34 on March 07, 2023, 10:51:21 AM well i feel like this is a legit question i have
as in why does someone need a loan every week nothing wrong with asking this question i feel if none of my business fine just tell me this and i will move on no problem you can move this thread as it doesn't belong in lending section my mistake Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: Timelord2067 on March 07, 2023, 04:40:24 PM Please support the Flag that I have created against this user: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3102

If someone needs/wants a loan and can repay, then he has the right to ask for it. Same as if someone trusts him to repay it is their right to loan him. Either way it's none of your business. It may not be good for a lender to continue this with a customer unless they get collateral as “payday” type loans are typically rated as high risk The payday lending business is huge, lots of people live payday to payday and if you are living like that all it takes is to get behind 1 or 2 weeks and you will need to take a high interest payday loan just to pay the rent, keep the lights on or food on the table. The problem usually lies in that once you start with very high interest loans, you may need to take a few before you are back on your feet again, they are designed to trap people. At least the BTC payday type loans here are low interest compared to payday lending. In most occasions it’s probably for gambling, but so what, you are not the lender so why care? Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: ps34 on March 08, 2023, 10:53:39 AM lending to gamble is not high risk ?
if a lender knows he lends money so the guy can go gamble with this money ? will he lend the money to this guy ? i only ask because i saw mnightwaffle ask for loan almost every week and i was curious as to why this was nothing more nothing less i'm not here to judge anyone certainly not i only asked because of curiousity Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: Timelord2067 on March 08, 2023, 11:07:50 AM So instead of asking the person concerned you thought you'd ask around for any gossip?
Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: ps34 on March 08, 2023, 11:10:49 AM i thought we were on a forum timelord and we are free to express ourself and ask the question we feel we need to ask or is this forbidden by timelord
because if this is the case sir please do tell me as you have to have the power in this or you think you have power over other people just like you told this guy who lends money that he will take out his last big loan so he can cashout and run away strange observation if you ask me tbh Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: CoinageMint on March 08, 2023, 12:07:38 PM mnightwaffle has been taking regular loans here for years now, as far as I know he has always repaid, so if I was a lender I would consider giving him small non collateral loans, but would request collateral for any amount of 0.01 BTC or greater, this is based on what I am willing to risk and what I can afford to risk. If someone else wants to give him 1btc as a non collateral loan big deal, that’s between them
And yes, lending a non reversible currency on an internet forum to a gambler is high risk, no matter which way you try to spin it. I must say that in no way do I know if mnightwaffle is a gambler or not, he may just be like a great percentage of the population living payday to payday and can’t find a way out of the situation. He may even lack ID and this is his only possible way of getting a loan. At the end of the day it comes back to the same question, what business is it of yours? I know you are just asking out of curiosity but that information should remain private between the lender and borrower unless they both agree to share it, like in a public post Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: CoinageMint on March 08, 2023, 12:18:55 PM Anyone needing a crypto loan should always request the amount in a stable coin, that way you will not be exposed to any sudden price spikes
Title: Re: weekly loans Post by: ps34 on March 08, 2023, 04:09:44 PM yeah i really appreciate it you trying to explain me this situation
i never wanted for waffle to defend himself why he would need to take weekly loans that's indeed none of my business and if this could be portrayed like that i'm really sorry for that now i know the reason as to why people sometimes need to take weekly loans and i have every respect for the struggle that some people are in life is sure not easy for me this thread can be closed as i have my answer to my question thanks for everyone involved |
