Title: Experience on Bitcoin
Post by: Jaycoinz on March 07, 2023, 09:40:45 AM
Has anyone ever thought of investing in Bitcoin in previous years, but later left out due to negative though that Bitcoin will not have positive value in time to come.
   Let share our experience.
As for me I still regret my actions years back, but I still believe that it's never too late.

My regret is not getting very curious to know more about Bitcoin in the earlier years when I heard people talk about it and when I saw the price, i thought it was already too expensive for me

However since I got to know and use Bitcoin, no negative remarks have ever made me stop believing in Bitcoin. All i try to do is challenge myself to hold Bitcoins long enough. Even the earlier adopters who had 500 BTC and did not hold long enough didn't really enough the benefits of the price pump after some years.

Pretty much majority of people? They'll buy at near peak when hype is rampant, then panic sell when the bubble bursts thinking bitcoin is dead.

As for me — once I've learned enough about bitcoin 7 years ago, I remained longterm bullish. What needed fixing on my side was only my allocations as I was almost always over invested; leaving me with very little dry powder when crashes came.

Many people have missed an opportunity like you, myself included, but I never regret it because I know that no matter what I do, time will not come back for us to fix it. Instead, I will try to look to the future and will never let those mistakes happen again.

The opportunity to invest in bitcoin is still there and always will be, it's never too late, and those who grab it now will have the same opportunity as early bitcoin adopters. We are still in the early stages of the bitcoin revolution.

During the last two bull runs that happened, I was blaming myself for why I didn't find a way to buy bitcoin when its value was still low in the market.

Especially during the times when I reached a drop of 180$ for each bitcoin, considering that during those times I was not that deep in having an interest in bitcoin. That's why if the past can really be brought back but it's not possible anymore and we have to accept and prepare for the future that's what's important.

So this is what I'm doing now that I didn't do when the two bull seasons passed because I don't want to be late anymore.

At the time when I was at high school, I though the price was really expensive back then(it's still expensive today) and I thought to myself "I don't think this is legit because I had never heard of this one before and this was a scam when I did PTC back then) so I refrain myself from investing in Bitcoin because lack of money and didn't make me interested to invest but at least I did still jump to Bitcoin train in 2016 and still got pretty much good profit until today, so there is no such thing as late in cryptocurrency.

Like many times man. I was one of that person who knew bitcoin since the beginning but had zero courage to trust it in the first glance and invest money into it. When my circle started trading bitcoin I was really left out of the circle and was not much interested in it. However, few of my friends really helped me to get involved with the bitcoin in long terms.

Initially when I heard about bitcoin, I was just reading about it and seeing the blogs over internet. It was until 2015-16 when I started with first purchase through local bitcoins and made ownership with it.

There were still regrets because I sold almost all of them in just 6-7 months after booking some profits. Then in 2017 I regretted the most of my life right there since bitcoin had that magical pump and I could have been half millionaire already. I think there are almost everyone who has gone through such drama.

Do you know that you that have just decided to invest in bitcoins can in no time have more bitcoins than someone who has been into bitcoins for a longer time than you have? Sometimes it is not not just how long you have known and owned some bitcoins, what matters more is how much bitcoin you have been able to keep. Develop good habit and a consistent behavior/pattern to buying and keeping bitcoins, be dedicated to it since you already know that you have lost some time already. Bitcoin Halving is expected to happen soon, you will be happy tomorrow if you develop the habit of buying and keeping the bitcoins till halving occurs.

In 2011, I was freelancing with my old laptop when a client proposed to pay me in Bitcoin. However, due to my apprehension about the lack of monetary value at that time, I declined the payment. Reflecting back on that experience, I regret not accepting the offer, as I could have potentially become a millionaire today had I accepted the quantity of Bitcoin that the client was offering to pay me.

In as much as you believe its never too late, I still think that some opportunities never come to us again when we miss it.

For me personally, I discovered bitcoin in late 2015, Bitcoin was still pretty cheap back then, I could have bought a lot of it but didn't, and my not buying is not because I thought Bitcoin's value would never increase, No, but rather, I was because, at that time, I was so poor, i barely get enough money to feed and take care of my self and my family properly, let alone having extra to invest in bitcoin, this is one of the reasons why i don't really regret missing out big on bitcoin, because there was nothing I could have done.

But then, I am still thankful because, even though I didn't invest in bitcoin in its early stage, my financial life have turned around for better through the same bitcoin, i now have a good business and several ways i earn extra income through the same bitcoin, I don't have much regrets.

My regrets are this.

1. Didnt save up Bitcoin for moonbag, wayback im earning bitcoin but i do cash it out or converted to fiat immediately after i had recieved it.
2. Lost up lots of Bitcoin wayback when Hyip/Ponzi scheme sites are flooding in the market

Trying to remember or on the time that i have seen or realized this, then it  cant really be avoided for you not to regret out
because if you have done the opposite then i might be rich now.  :'(

If you are talking about regrets then let me join.
Way back 2017 when I first heard bitcoin I did not really believe in it since I was not old enough but I realized that starting young is not a bad idea. I should have believe in it and invested bigger since I have a money to spare that time and the price was cheaper than right now. I am not gonna miss this time and 100% believe that I'm not gonna regret it. I'll be saving up bitcoin and not gonna spend it like before.

For the past years when Bitcoin have no influence on the society, many people do have a shambles thought of Bitcoin, and especially investing for long term duration, sometimes we won't blame them because they are ignorant of Bitcoin investment, past five years many people doesn't believe or have trust on Bitcoin, Bitcoin investment is something of determination and that's while so many of us who has invested in Bitcoin will continue to advice a beginner not to use all it has for prolong Bitcoin investment, what a good investors uses for cryptocurrency investment and especially bitcoin is a spare money because of it's disadvantage of market.

Snip
In the case of trading, there is no benefit in feeling regret about the previous trading and there is no need to feel regret because in every trading case these can never be successful trading. If you think about it like this, then after every trading, everyone will have to feel regret, because this market is always moving, there will be ups and downs all the time.

I didn’t regret to invest with Bitcoin even if its price is not rising simple because I believe in the future of Bitcoin. Though i regret for not starting right away since my friend already share his knowledge about Bitcoin and yet I failed to follow it that’s why I started here late and since then, I’m making sure that I will buy more bitcoin every time I see opportunity, and with this Bitcoin will be my safe haven in cryptomarket despite of its current trend.

We tend to regret stuff like that on the hindsight, after seeing what we've missed. We feel satisfied opting out while the action is on until we look back and realize it was an opportunity that shouldn't have been missed. Now that we can take a guess at what the future portends, having learnt from history that every bull year has done better than the one before it, I want to believe you're positioning already for the next bull run that will likely happen in 2024/25? Don't miss this one for anything.

Just like you most of us have been outside while seeing and feeling we are missing opportunity and in actual fact we lack the courage to go in to it. I have seen some traders not able to hodl their coins for long because of volatility. The season is yet approaching and I hope I can hodl some fraction in expectation for the bull run after halving.

You are not alone, many have this experience as well of not buying early despite of their knowledge with Bitcoin and personally I regret this before but since I can’t do anything about it anymore I just move on and make sure to buy more especially now that I know the importance of Bitcoin. You can always buy Bitcoin because its not always pumping, just continue to analyze when to buy so when you see opportunity, grab it. Bull season is still far from reality, use this time to accumulate slowly but surely.

I am sure you will find many such users on this forum but the truth is that they all invested or earned bitcoin from one time and are continuing to do so over the years. The reason why they did not invest must have been outweighed by the price rise and thus the profitability.

This I don't blame them because we all like to keep our hard earned money safe and this the caution.

But it is never late to start again. One can buy Bitcoin in this market too and hope for better returns.

You're not alone.

All of us have that kind of regret that we knew bitcoin years ago and then we did nothing because all of our actions were limited, we're younger during those times and we're not too financially free.

But right now, years has passed and for sure most lives have improved and everyone now can start investing to bitcoin from their salaries or any other source of income that they've worked for.

There is no doubt that there are still many investment opportunities in Bitcoin, and Bitcoin is currently well below its all-time high. But now a lot of capital is required to invest in bitcoins and if you look at it, in the beginning there was not so much capital required to invest in bitcoin.Because the amount of capital you will buy one bitcoin now, you could get thousands of bitcoins in the beginning. But if some one has the capital then investing in Bitcoin can be the best investment. On the other hand, their are some  fud in the market has also scared people As many people lost their capital in the FTX exchange. In the early days such problems were very few. People had little knowledge about Bitcoin but those who bought Bitcoin made huge profits.

Money that is more than you need should be invested in bitcoin or digital currency.Because the price of Bitcoin is always fluctuating. And withdrawing money at the time of need can make you lose money. Therefore, the amount should be invested in the Bitcoin which you do not need to withdraw at the time of need.

Many people have had similar thoughts about bitcoin over the years and some were early adopters who invested when the price was low and made significant gains, while others stayed on the sidelines due to concerns about its long-term viability. But besides bitcoin has proven to be resilient and has continued to gain acceptance and value over time. If you regret not investing in bitcoin earlier, it is never too late to get started while the price may be higher than it was in the past --there are still opportunities to invest and potentially see significant returns. Of course, as with any investment, do your own research, understand the risks, and make informed decisions.

There's a big mass of investors who feels the same way as you do and I am also a part of it.
I invested in Bitcoin, I tried to accumulate during faucets hype by making 0.002BTC per day. But I always sell them when I feel like the value is going down. I even tried to trade it for coins that are now garbage. I was really stupid back then.
Now, I regret all those actions too. It's not like we know what the future will bring so we just have to move on and try to lessen the mistake from now on.
Accumulate, purchase when a bear comes, and save. That's the goal now.

Look, what happened to you is understandable, very few people were convinced immediately about the potential of bitcoin and invested in it as quickly as possible.

In fact I would venture to say that what you are experimenting is relatively common, as one of the usual complains we see on the forum comes from people that heard about bitcoin years earlier and they refused to invest their money at that point, but what matters is that now you are convinced about the potential of bitcoin and you are finally doing something about it.

I was late to invest in bitcoin in the past years but that's okay because even if people decide to invest in bitcoin now, you are not too late and still have time to get started.

We regret it but must try to start while we still have time. We can't turn back the clock and can only use this moment and try to own more bitcoins before the price increases again. And now we are being given another moment to buy bitcoins as the price drops deeper than yesterday. So take advantage of the opportunities that exist, and do not despair.

I have never thought of investing in Bitcoin and did not do so. Yhe first opportunity i missed investing in Bitcoin was when I got a half-baked information about bitcoin. I could have worked on the information with the help of internet and invested, but that was the period of Ponzi scheme in my country. So the information about bitcoin was really looking like a Ponzi scheme, so I did not invest and neither did I bother researching more.

But in the end how I started using bitcoin is that I was scammed and the payment was made through Bitcoin. After it was done on me that I was scammed thousands of dollars, I was depressed and I decided to use the opportunity and know about bitcoin.

Of course it's not too late for us, maybe the only thing I regret is that I didn't immediately understand bitcoin when its value was still low, so I didn't pay attention to it right away. Then when I found out that Bitcoin reached around 200$ before, I didn't pay much attention to it because my interest was too low at this time. But when bitcoin suddenly kicked up to 1000$ each until it even reached 20k$ each, I softened, regretted, and after this incident, I always had an interest in bitcoin until now.

The only mistake that I did was when I refused to buy Bitcoin a few years ago because of the thought that I will just lose my on it. I doubted it until Bitcoin reached its ATH last 2017. From then on, I realized that Bitcoin is really worth buying anf it's a good thing that I believed in its capability. I bought Bitcoin after the bull run that time and try to learn everything about it. Some situations tested my patience but I'm glad that I surpassed everything and learned how to hold Bitcoin for the long term. If we know how Bitcoin reached its highest price, we'll never doubt it as an investment again.

That's true, I have been here since it was just 100 bucks, and I am not even rich. I am doing alright thankfully but I have not that much money because anytime I had some money, there was something urgent in my life that I had to pay for.

My family mock me about it, I never had 6 months with nothing wrong in my life, it could be something small, or it could be something big, but there is ALWAYS something wrong in my life, last year it was health issues, then this September it was a death in family, then some other things, basically I never had 6 months with nothing worrying and that is why I never saved enough money because I had to keep cashing it out. If I keep regretting it, then I won't be able to survive for a year.

regrets are always unpleasant to remember. but after all, everyone has bad experiences in making important decisions.

an experience that I regretted was selling all the Bitcoins I had pumped the bull a few years ago. even though it was profitable, my regret is why I didn't just sell some of it and save it for now. that incident made me miss the moment of the last ATH rupture.
now can only collect so much more.

Most people will feel the same way when they see the opportunities that are in front of their eyes and then we can only miss them because of conditions and various things. Even my acquaintances said something like this "if only I bought and had a number of bitcoins at the beginning of its emergence, maybe now I have a much different life from now, I am willing not to go to school, as long as I have bitcoins". I know those were words packaged as a joke, but I can tell how sorry he is now. I am one of the lucky people, because I am a person who knows and invests in bitcoin. Because around me not many do it.

Great that you accept it while many people I see are regretting too much. They didn't realize that there are people who are much later than them. I think as long as Bitcoin still have some supply left, its value can still pump in to a different level that none of us can't imagine.

We can start buying and Hodling Bitcoin today even if its price isn't that cheap enough because we are sure that we can still earn a profit in the future. If someone thinks it's high enough. They can still invest in smaller portions. There are much cheaper alternatives in Bitcoin, namely altcoins and tokens but I do not really advise them. Yes they are cheap but the question is if they can last longer like Bitcoin.

They shouldn't think that way and shouldn't regret it because as long as they are still willing to try to invest in bitcoin, whatever the current price of bitcoin is, they still have the opportunity to benefit from it. After all, we are looking for profits from investing in bitcoins. And those profits will be even greater in the future.

And now, with the bitcoin price still at the $20k level, it allows us to quickly buy and store bitcoins elsewhere while waiting for the price to increase again. And it's okay if you decide to sell bitcoin when the price hits $25 again because you decide to make a profit and wait for another correction. I don't recommend investing in altcoins and tokens because even though they are cheap, we can be confused about choosing them because there are many tempting altcoins and tokens to be used as investments. It is better to choose bitcoin as a long-term investment.

   Let share our experience.
As for me I still regret my actions years back, but I still believe that it's never too late.
The same thing happened to me, and I also regret my choices. I believed it to be a Ponzi scheme where everyone would make enormous profits before subsequently vanishing with their money. The excitement was intense, and the majority of people in my area were hesitant to invest since we didn’t have the necessary information and comprehension at the time. I observed the fortunate few acquiring homes for themselves and enjoying their current lifestyles. I always feel bad about my decision whenever I see them.
It doesn't really matter when you join. in my opinion, no one is ever too late to get on board. We can still make the most money possible, just like people did in the past. Bitcoin's future is still very bright.

But it is never late to start again. One can buy Bitcoin in this market too and hope for better returns.
Better late than never, no matter how late you think you are in investing in bitcoin there is every tendency you will make profit if you know what you are doing, the market is volatile and is always changing so if you are knowledgeable enough you can use it to your advantage. You can choose to to trade your bitcoin or hold for longer period either way you can gain profit if you know what you are doing.

If you still think you're too late to invest in Bitcoin, you make a mistake buying Bitcoin in high price or you think you need to wait until Bitcoin price hit x price to buy, you're still don't understand and don't trust Bitcoin. You will always make profit in Bitcoin if you hold for long time, even though Bitcoin price is currently at $20K and the previous ATH was $69K, but there's a high chance Bitcoin price will make new ATH again.

I am an old crypto user. So currently I have no regret whatsoever. But in the past I made some obvious mistakes due to not having enough knowledge. I sold all my holding in 52% loss because I thought crypto is done for. But as I learned more and spend time here in this forum, it became clear that, crypto is not going anywhere. And we are seeing legalization of Bitcoin in many areas.
So all I want to say that, don't hold any regrets on your past actions. Instead, learn from it and keep going forward. It's never too late to become successful.

If it triggers you to be emotional, you should avoid thinking of those bad memories but there are some who think of it because they are using it as motivation to improve their selves. I never regret why I did not buy BTC by the time I hear it because I know less about BTC that time and chances are that I will only be involved in trouble if I insist to. I think your acquaintances mean it.

I mean what's the use of school when you have lots of money when the purpose of school is to help you get closer to your career and the end goal is still to earn money. There are even people who drop out of school and still manage to get successful in life.

I almost did it. Back when we had the 20k high in 2017-18 I was so sure about bitcoin and thought it is never going to stop, jumped into the market and even earned a bit during that time, but eventually, things began to go south post that. Especially when we went to around 3k the second time, I was so frustrated with the market I thought I'll take everything out there is no point to burn your money as well as mind every single day. But I got busy with my exams and didn't took the money out for a few months, then I saw market once again gaining momentum and people talking about halving thing again which kept me going thankfully it was a very wise decision for me and my money.

This is very common, especially when we are just getting into the world of cryptocurrency or have only heard a little about Bitcoin, then we will suspect Bitcoin more as something that is actually dangerous and should be avoided. This happens very often because the media in several countries still report more negative things related to Bitcoin. And also, Bitcoin is still not well-received in society and there are still many debates regarding Bitcoin. Hence, at the time, I was also unsure about putting my money into something I considered dangerous. Finally, when I really studied cryptocurrencies, felt the various benefits of the crypto business, and also learned to manage my finances to invest in Bitcoin, that's when I realized that I was too late. but it's not a problem, because at least we have learned and are able to move, not just stay away from it.

Depending on people or investor mindset about Bitcoin investment, comparison with all time high from Bitcoin last two years and right now drop almost 50% more seems the best moment for reinvesting back in Bitcoin. But not all people have positive mindset and they think bullish moment is not to buy back but priority for selling their assets.

Panic moment coming later when price going pump and they not care how about risk after investing in Bitcoin have reached higher price, this experienced I got right now with many people mindset when investing in Bitcoin. They not try to learn from mistake after losing chance how to earn much profit from Bitcoin investment.

For the previous few months, Bitcoin has consistently made the same swings. Although it all depends on the bull and bear seasons, there are periods when bitcoin dumps significantly on the market as well as periods when it pumps drastically. I had a terrible experience with bitcoin because it was the most popular and volatile coin in the market. I lost the majority of my money to bitcoin because of the dump, but it's nothing to be ashamed of because we all learn every day from our mistakes. I'm buying pieces of bitcoin during the bear market because I'm confident that the price of bitcoin will break through resistance and reach a new all-time high in the months to come.

I agree, holding regrets only put you in the sad zone and we dont want that. As fellow bitcoin users it is our duty to motivate each other and be optimistic about the earnings that we can hope for. Indeed we can buy at low prices maybe not as low as three digit prices which I have seen when I started, but below 20k USD is possible in the background of the USDC depegging.

While less than 10k prices are very difficult now still we can buy at these levels and hold it for future gains. This needs to be done at regular intervals just like accumulating a few well performing stocks every on every drop. Dont think that you will buy today once and get huge returns a year back.

I don't think this depegging will affect the Bitcoin that much. We have seen a good rise to the 21K price point today from 19.7k which was yesterday. And It is quite possible for Bitcoin to reach below 20k again or go much low, but it will be just a new beginning for the next bull run. Anything could happen at any time. So it is wise to be prepared for any situation. Keep some and buy some. That will do it nicely.

I do not know where people get the idea that investing in bitcoin has some kind of time limit and it is too late to do so now, because it is obvious this cannot be true, even if someone invested their money right now and bitcoin during its next bull run only reached 100k, that will still be a 300% gain, that is a lot of money especially if you invest several years of savings and this money could help you to buy a house or to retire earlier.

I saw a lot of negativities when I was able to know what bitcoin was. It's quite hard because there have been too many pessimistic statements and discussions about it that have the only intention to destroy its reputation. Gladly, I wasn't left out and did see the bull runs that I've taken a little profit from it. Despite that, I wasn't able to maximize the potential profit that I can get during those times but I'm in and didn't been left behind. You're right that it's never too late because if you think that it's too late then you will really believe that it is. While many are going with the same situation that you've just said right now, they should take time to analyze the markets before they'll be the one that shall be left by the market.

I am damn sure I never went back when I entered into bitcoin world. Before entering bitcoin I had many doubts and needed to clarify them all the time. So initially we always had chit chat about the bitcoin every time me and my friends met. Those were our full and final days when we decide out fate with bitcoin and until when it is gonna last. So there was no turning back once we entered into the crypto atmosphere. Whatever ups and downs came to our bitcoin trading or holding period we sorted it technically and kept moving on. Till date I am able to DCA my investment and thus so far I am really good in my position of holding bitcoin.

This can only be done with proper planning and dedication upfront. If you gonna enter the bitcoin and then think about the negative sides of it, then its done. It will take great deal of time to come back mate. Play it cool and keep up with the bitcoin as the time flows.

Yes previous year was very tough to handle, the price of every coin was very slow but we have a form belief that one day it will recover back and its happened. All coins returns back to its higher price at start but later it slightly reduced. Now the price is low but not so low that it makes the bitcoin useless and consider bitcoin in dip like previous year. Lots of people who make investment in Bitcoin get too much benefit in this year because the price was so high in contrast with previous one. Bearish period is lucky for those who make investment and Bull for reaping successful results from investment.

If I had been fortunate enough to invest in cryptocurrency earlier, I am confident that I wouldn't have missed anything and wouldn't have any regrets since I know I would do anything to earn what people are making and that I would keep it till it made me money before I would sell. How come I'm saying this? Some folks don't currently own any bitcoin, but what I admire about them is that they always have the opportunity to purchase when the price is low and sell when the price reaches new all-time highs. They are good in that aspect, or perhaps I should say that they are lucky, but as you said, the present is what matters, so buy them now.

We all need to have it in our mind that Bitcoin is very risky investment so if you are in you will need to be strong and ready to pass through the market ups and downs. Bitcoin is for the wise amd those who can adhere to the signs or the market reaction.
I have some few experience in the market and from what I have seen we just need to have full confidence of anything we are doing so that even when the market seems like going against our order, we will still be ready to follow our analysis and keep holding no matter what or the direction the market wants to go.

Sudden price movements like this can give you a little profit, that's for sure. But if we really want the best out of our investment, then we should focus on our long term goals. If you have a huge amount of investment asset, you can make a fortune out of it with little movement. As we all know, bitcoin is here to stay and will grow much more in the future. It is best to join at anytime and keep hodling.

I had the same experience with you mate. I was hearing about it since my first year in secondary school but I assumed it to be a scam stuff. Majority of scam projects were trending those days and I thought Bitcoin wasn't an exemption without doing personal research about it until lately. However, despite the regret, there's no time one is late when it comes to Bitcoin.

This is typically the initial reaction of those people who don't believe in it at first, even when introduced the first time. It's about time you should consider that it could rise in price somehow, which would be the best thing you would do. And if you think that, then you would only be swayed by other people for some of your different opportunities. You wouldn't regret that if you could do it consistently and know why you are doing the actions. I'd appreciate it if you could do it.

Don't get me wrong here; it will be to have a solid belief, especially if you are discussing opportunities with your money, that will continue unless something better happens. That's what happens, and you have to stay strong.

It's never too late to start again. Even if we have left bitcoin because of the negative impression we got in the past, we can still come back to bitcoin and start investing again. And if you're still keeping bitcoins from the past in your wallet, you might be surprised at how much your investment in bitcoins is worth today. And the value of your investment will increase even more when the bitcoin price can reach its highest price again. So you don't need to regret what you have done in the past and you just need to get up and keep trying. If you still want to invest in bitcoin, you are not too late because the price has not increased much. Make the most of the present time because we may not see it again.

You said it right, I agree with it a lot to be honest. If you have a strong belief in Bitcoin because if you don't really have it, you will never buy it for sure until they realize it will be too late because the value of bitcoin has increased.

Although in this day and age there are still many who do not believe in bitcoin but there is nothing we can do about it the important thing is that we do not delay this opportunity to save bitcoin before the halving.

If I'm to talk about my experience in bitcoin it should be when I newly of bitcoin and decided to believe all the FUDs that were being spread by anti-bitcoins and those who have little to no knowledge of what Bitcoin truly is.
I didn't invest in the early days of bitcoin I taught it was I ly meant for wealthy people and people who have more than enough cash to sustain their set after investing and once you make an investment of you not careful your skin could become worthless. Those were the things I was made to believe but as time passed by I started learning the truth about bitcoin. And learn facts about bitcoin and eventually invested in it today I'm still here investing more on bitcoin whenever the chances arise.

I would like to say that bitcoin is the best option not only just for long-term investment it was also safe for short term trading or investment. But in this case, if the fund is traded with a little more, it will be possible to achieve a little more profit. Moreover, for long term investment, you can wait for a few more days to find a better dip But it will be better to buy btc for long term investment after certain period with good DCA strategy.

While learning from the past is essential as we risk to make the same mistakes all over again if we do not, at the same time it makes no sense to lament to not invest in bitcoin earlier or to not have done so with all the money we had available at the time.

What is done is done and we need to move on, however it is not as if all is lost, bitcoin is still trading at an affordable range and the halving is still far away, for that reason someone which really wants to make up for their mistake still has the time to do so and they can make some good money during the upcoming bull run.

The Bitcoin market is never the same Bitcoin policy is always fluctuating. However, if you analyze the Bitcoin market in the current state, the future of Bitcoin is definitely good. But those who invest now and hold Bitcoin for the long term would do well. Because the Bitcoin market is very investable right now and it is wise to invest at this time. So if you buy and hold Bitcoin safely from the current market, it is definitely possible to earn a lot of profit in the future.

What is done is done and we need to move on, however it is not as if all is lost, bitcoin is still trading at an affordable range and the halving is still far away, for that reason someone which really wants to make up for their mistake still has the time to do so and they can make some good money during the upcoming bull run.
I need to tell you something, buddy. A bright spot on an otherwise gray day is your wisdom. Never allow your sorrow for the past overshadow your hope for the future. Bitcoin is like a free-roaming horse, always charging forward with exciting opportunities. It's not only about making up for lost time; there's still much to come! Because this is our rodeo, let's lasso our aspirations and ride them all the way to the end of the earth.

No matter when you first heard about or began investing in bitcoin, it is never too late to start. You have the chance to profit from your bitcoin investment once again if you want to. It is better to start taking advantage of the bitcoin price you see now by doing dca if you care to.

One of my regrets in the past towards my bitcoin investment was not being able to hold onto bitcoin for so long when I had a personal issue that made me sell my bitcoin holding when the bitcoin price was a bit cheap around $12k. But, for the time being, I'm starting to hold up more bitcoin. Only waiting for the rainy season to start so that I may grin again

The depegging really did not affect the prices as we had predicted. In fact the price went up and are having a bullish turn from then on. We don't know why this happened but we are not complaining about it.

People are probably waiting to buy or selling to cover losses. At this point new users should wait it out. My experience is that changes in direction should be anticipated and preparations made for the same.

The market is currently taking some correction. It's not showing enough movements to be considered as a bullish market. It's gonna take some time to be totally bullish. But if we compare it with $19k price point then it is a good push towards the up.

There isn't any right time to get into the market only if you are willing to hold it for a long run. Though, it is an advantage if you have gotten into the market at a lower price point. But for the long run, these movements are minor from my point of view. And doing DCA as you mentioned is a good way to catch up with the rest.

There has been time when we came to know about bitcoin through one way or other but ignored it due to one reason or other.Same happened with me also that back in say around 2015 my friend told me about it and we were in school but never thought of serious investment at that time so still regret it but on other side even if I had invested or anyone else what's the guarantee we would still be holding them? So we can regret but yes it's never too late.

Are you guys talking about the USDC? The stable coin didn't totally collapsed that is why Bitcoin and other coins are hardly been affected. The company behind it are too big and trusted enough, so everything is under control but other users can't help it. They are too panicky and they want to withdraw and sell their coins after the issue happened. Good thing that platforms are restricting them of doing it as that could shake this market.

Aside from the good news that the stable coin have recovered, there are then other positive news that came about Bitcoin which have helped the price to rise even more. Let's just hope this will continue and no more negative news are going to come out for a while.

As for me I still regret my actions years back, but I still believe that it's never too late.

I was introduced to Bitcoins once back in 2012 or 2013, but at that time, I didn’t pay any great attention to the coins, later when I saw Bitcoins touching 700-800$, I got interested into Bitcoins, and then did the best possible tasks to acquire, trade or buy as many Bitcoins as possible. I have seen Bitcoins rising from nothing to 70k usd. So yes I know how Bitcoins have made people dance on it’s will to acquire the coins. OP it’s never too late to buy the coins. Bitcoins are fixed in numbers, so definitely as the time will pass, the value of the coin will increase. So consider yourself lucky if you are able to buy the coins under 30k usd. Buy as many coins as you can and enjoy the profit later on.

Bitcoin is the safest and most decentralized thing in the world. Because anyone can not control it. I invested in bitcoins eight years ago. Also, I invested fiat money in traditional banks as well(at the same time). I realized, my buying power of fiat currency will be reduced over time. So Bitcoin saved my buying power.

Many of us has a big regret by not believing in bitcoin way back on year 2010,if we only believe that bitcoin will be having a big value this time then we can get huge profit if we buy and hold it, but i think its never too late and it isn't over yet, bitcoin will surely rise in the future and we need to prepare to buy and hold today avoid regrets.

Regret will only occur for those who initially did know about Bitcoin but had no intention to enter or invest in Bitcoin.
But for those who are new to Bitcoin and value it, it will be a real choice, whether they like it or not. If you are still in doubt, of course no one can force it.
and it's never too late to get into Bitcoin, whenever you can enter the price and the price won't always go up. Bitcoin prices fluctuate and everyone can enter at a high price or at a price that is quite affordable or cheaper.

I have been through a lot of losses investing in Bitcoin in the past. But the wallet has become so small and I have faced losses by investing that now I am not in the mindset to invest anymore. I lost a lot of money from my trading due to massive dumping of bitcoin price, and bankruptcy of several platforms in the altcoin section.

If you've invested in Bitcoin in the past eight years, you must be a serious entertainer.  Because what did you imagine the price of Bitcoin was eight years ago?  Then you would have been listed among the top rich because the price of Bitcoin was around $700 to $800.  At that time, there was a small amount in the wallet. Think about how much your dollar would be now.
Are you just giving us false comfort?

Bitcoin has faced significant criticism and skepticism over the years, particularly in its early days when it was relatively unknown and untested. Some people may have been discouraged from investing due to concerns about volatility, regulation, security, or simply a lack of understanding about how cryptocurrencies work.

However, it's important to remember that investing always carries some level of risk and uncertainty, and there's no way to predict the future with complete accuracy. While it's natural to have some regrets about missed opportunities, it's never too late to start investing in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies if you believe they have long-term potential. It's always a good idea to do your research, understand the risks, and invest only what you can afford to lose

Yes it is a very deep regret for people who knew bitcoin at that time but they did not decide to invest in it even almost everyone thought at the beginning of its existence that bitcoin could not be worth as high as it is now but bitcoin proved that in a decade it can done even though we were not able to invest in bitcoin at that time but there are round the clock opportunities for us to make purchases taking advantage of every drop in the price, it is not too late for us to invest now because going forward there is a possibility that bitcoin will be worth much higher.

I also had the chance to invest in Bitcoin early on but didn't jump in because of the uncertainty and not understanding well what bitcoin and crypto currencies are. But when I look back, I don't regret to be honest. Maybe a little, yes, but for most part, no because at least I am sure I won't be jumping into random investments because of hypes and losing tons of money on shit projects.
Like you said, it's never too late. The crypto market is still evolving, and there are many new projects and opportunities coming up which might successful and give you some nice profits. But the chances of finding such projects is very slim. Keep learning, stay informed, and make wise decisions. If you think a new project has good potential, then invest a little and hold it!

From my own experience, I bought some cheap Bitcoins before, but the only thing that I regret is the size of what I bought compared to this year.
Because my plan is to start to accumulate this year, that's really the plan. Since my hands are itchy, I bought some Bitcoins last year which for me it was a good decision, I'm lucky.

If you are planning to invest in bitcoin for the long term then I think it would be best to buy whenever the opportunity arises and take advantage of any downside momentum by doing DCA so you can get discounts basically no rights it's time for us to make purchases but by doing DCA you can get more lots of bitcoins for less capital it's never too late to invest in bitcoins because bitcoins can provide bigger returns in the future even though right now we are buying them at a higher price than they were in February which had dropped to as low as $19k.

DCA is perfect but saying they should buy whenever there's any downside could be miss leading as Bitcoin could be on the path of a dump and then they'll buy but later start regretting as the price falls continuously. Investing in Bitcoin shouldn't be done with no knowledge of how the market works, Before you buy any downside make sure you know the reason behind the fall.

Don't just buy every downside thinking you're DCA, DCA has to do with buying Bitcoin with a mindset, if you want to invest $10k, don't just rush to buy instead, you could buy monthly with $1k . Do this consistently for 12 months and you would have gotten more Bitcoin than when you would had made your initial purchase with all the $10k.

Me too, I knew about bitcoin quite early but didn't invest at the time, but I don't regret it, as the future is unpredictable. We regret that we now see it as very valuable, but if bitcoin fails, we will feel that not investing in it was the right decision we ever made. Life is about experiences, so there is no regret when the opportunity is still with us from now on. Now that we know about the potential of bitcoin without investing, that will be our biggest regret and a mistake that I will never be able to forgive myself for.

I only regret that I did not convert all my altcoins into bitcoins, this is the best thing I could do, but this is really an experience, this is a lesson for which I paid a big price and which I learned well.

Experience is also a very important aspect in achieving our goals, and it doesn’t matter that we failed to achieve them in the past, but we got an understanding of how to act in the future in order to achieve our goals faster. Now my portfolio is 90% bitcoin, I really hope that this will allow me to make good profits in the future.

There are lot of people who knew bitcoin in the early years, but they didn't invest for whatever reason. I am very optimistic about bitcoin since I got to know it in 2020, until now bitcoin has become my main investment asset compared to other investment assets. Of course I really want to remain optimistic about bitcoin in the long term regardless of the current state of the market. I've been lucky since I got to know bitcoin, it has changed a lot of things in life until now.

It's just about how we manage this investment well because bitcoin has more potential than it has achieved in the last 13 years. There is no doubt, and we should be able to make good use of it.

Those people who were not sure about bitcoins success (to be fair I was rooting for it but even I didn't see it become this high) ended up regretting their position later on. That is my guiding light for bitcoin, if I doubt bitcoin right now, then in 10 years I could become like those guys.

Obviously I am not expecting it to go up 1000x or something anymore, that was then and it's now over, but I can see it making me more profit than anything else in the world. Which is why investing into bitcoin is a lovely idea and I will keep doing that for as long as I possibly could. I understand some people could still have some reservations about it, but I will never doubt it again.

If you have missed out on Bitcoin investing in the past year, you have ample opportunity to invest right now. because the position in the market right now is definitely suitable for investment. You observe the market and analyze well, the market is on the way to increase more than before. But at the current level it would definitely be wise to invest and hold for the future. and if you are still interested in Bitcoin investment, you can definitely succeed. And there is still time to invest, if you invest in this market, you will definitely have the highest desire for profit.

in early 2017 I got to know bitcoin and at that time I didn't dare to invest, because I didn't have enough knowledge about bitcoin, but in the end bitcoin experienced a pump and felt disappointed because I didn't buy it at the beginning, but that was the journey to be able to understand the movement of bitcoin. until finally bitcoin started to crash and I ventured to buy it, until 2021 to get its benefits to support the family economy
I think it's part of the process and it's important because sometimes there are still many people who only care about results until they end up losing,
the key is we need to start learning first and understand it,
And what is clear is that everyone's journey is different.

Has anyone ever thought of investing in Bitcoin in previous years, but later left out due to negative though that Bitcoin will not have positive value in time to come.
   Let share our experience.
As for me I still regret my actions years back, but I still believe that it's never too late.

I never had this kind of thought in Bitcoin.

Never ever let the FUD controls your mind, because no one knows that will happen in the future, that is why we risk our money in Bitcoin. Instead of believing in FUDs, try to believe your own judgement, be unique, if other people are skeptical about Bitcoin, then believe on it, make a decision to know the result rather than having sleepless nights because of thinking "what ifs" because you didn't try in the first place.

If at the time you mentioned you had enough opportunities to invest, you didn't take the risk to invest, then I think you did something wrong. Because if you had invested then you might have made a lot of profit from that investment now.  However, you may not have the courage to invest because you do not have a complete understanding of the market.  Didn't invest then but rightly regret it now. But there is no use in thinking about the past or regretting the past, we have to think and plan for the present and the future. So that after one to two years we don't have to say why we didn't invest in 2023.

The time to invest is not over yet, I believe that if you can invest now, you can definitely benefit from that investment in the future. Since you have made a mistake once, you can now take a decision or risk to invest. Hopefully investing now will not disappoint you.

I think it is important to realize that you may not make a lot of money right away, but you should be still investing anyway. Just because you missed your chance to make more money back in the day, doesn't mean you should be staying away from it neither, you should be focusing on making as much profit as you possibly can.

I know that it is going to take some time before you could make some money, but that doesn't mean that you should avoid it. I personally believe that the best thing to do would be making sure that you end up with some profit when the time comes and for that to happen you need to invest right now. Do not wait for a better time, it will never come and you will never be any better, just invest today if you can afford to.

Op I don't see it as a regret because we shouldn't hold ourselves accountable for something we don't know. Instead, I see it as a lack of proper understanding about Bitcoin, which is why you were left out. for that reason, that is why it is good for we should continue to doing research even after our investing in Bitcoin in order to have accurate understanding about your investment and that we make us accurate plans for it.if we don't have proper understanding about Bitcoin investment it may lead us in doubting it.

We have not all asked ourselves that the opportunity of having bought bitcoin in previous years would be right now, because I think the answer is yes, but something must be understood here, in any speculative market when an opportunity is not taken advantage of, the market is very benevolent, Maybe right now it is not at the price it was a few years ago, but when the price of BTC rises to more than $100k it will be the best investment of all, what is even more important is that now that can happen at any time ,it is not known, there are many things, but why not tomorrow? or in 1 month? It is not known, but it is very possible, the key here is patience.

Yes this happened with lots of people because previous whole year was very hard to get profit. Individuals missed the opportunity because of volatility and instability so i think that lower price is good for buying it because bitcoin price is very high and not everyone can buy it.

Individuals will not regret to buy bitcoin at dip if they keep the history in their mind that bitcoin in certain pervious years showed exactly the same decrease in price but it does not matter as the price will go back to higher worth whenever the market become stable.

It's common for people to have regrets about not investing in Bitcoin earlier, but it's important to focus on the present and future opportunities. Bitcoin's value has been steadily increasing over the years, and it's still a relatively new asset with potential for growth. It's never too late to start investing in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, as long as one is willing to do their research and invest wisely.

Well, until now I never doubt Bitcoin because it's won't have a positive value, last time I regret sold my Bitcoin because of some emergency when the Bitcoin price is at low not selling it when a new ATH achieved. until now I'm regretting my action due I don't have any emergency funds that day and now I'm preparing my emergency funds when something emergency comes up rather than selling my Bitcoin to cover my emergency expense.

yes, you're right, it's never too late, even though the Bitcoin price is currently at $ 29k,
you can still hope that the Bitcoin price will rise to New ATH next year, because according to history,
after halving the price of Bitcoin can reach 2x from new ATH, and it's worth $ 150k up to $200k, well let's hope it happens.

It should be clearly understood that with each halving the return on investment in bitcoin becomes less and less.  You can earn 2x in almost any well-organized business for a year or two (and it is more guaranteed than investing in bitcoin and waiting - it will grow by 2x in a year or not). The more bitcoin is worth - the less interesting it will be as an investment instrument. This is my opinion and I could be wrong.

I was told years back about Bitcoin, but I neglected it thinking it was one of those cyber crimes, or maybe I would later be a victim of scam, but as years goes by, I'm still hearing about Bitcoin, and even how it has granted many persons financial freedom, then I know I made a mistake for not hacking to Bitcoin years back when I was told, had it been I started from then, I would have been a pro by now, I regret my actions though, but I see it as a lesson, and have learnt from it now, and for the fact that I'm here now, am not giving up till I achieve my goals here...

Last year Bitcoin market peaked in 2021 which is the best in Bitcoin history. Later, when the Bitcoin market started to pick up, it went down again. But I think if you want to invest you should definitely invest by looking at the Bitcoin market. Because the changes we are currently seeing in the Bitcoin market, Bitcoin is poised to make a new history in the next year. So I believe that Bitcoin will bring a huge change in the market going into the new year compared to the previous year. So the current market price of Bitcoin will be the best to invest from this market and earn good money in future.

It just proof that Bitcoin's volatility doesn't guarantee any predictions. You could analyze what could be the outcome but you're not still sure that you'll be right. Investing in Bitcoin is a good move but if you call just based on prediction then it might result worse. But for sure as Bitcoin exist for a long period of time it will increases it's value. So it's a good choice to invest but always do your own research. It's still a risk anyway, I feel that this year would be the time for Bitcoin to rise. Ready your pockets this year!

There is no point in regretting now that you had the opportunity but didn't take advantage of it. The work of time must always be done on time. And some opportunities actually have to try to grab the opportunities because the opportunities of human life do not come more than once.

Although some opportunities do not come more than once in life, some Bitcoin-centric opportunities do come in our lives again and again. The current Bitcoin market price is in a relatively good position. And from the current market, the price of Bitcoin is rising from two to three thousand dollars.

But this is the time to think about investing. If the market rises a lot from this situation and if we miss this opportunity then we will have no end of regrets in our life.
Since the time to invest in Bitcoin is not yet over and there are ample opportunities now, one should invest on time.

I don't think Bitcoin is still a new assets as we have others that have comes since Bitcoin was invented 14 years ago although I believe it still has a very big potential of giving good returns if we invest in it now. Bitcoin hasn't gotten to six digits yet which will start from when it crosses the $100k price. Around this price is when I'll consider Bitcoin to now be costly but anything below that price, isn't.

Many newbies has their regrets when they didn't take the opportunity that presented itself to them when Bitcoin was low, we shoudn't be worried as everybody is experiencing this but instead we should prepare ourselves so we don't miss the next opportunity as we'll be having more in the future.

A person will regret only when buying of bitcoin stops but I don't think it will happen because every year the price of bitcoin skyrocketed. I think that person should not regret about the past because there is no need of thinking about the past but instead of wasting time by thinking about past the planning for future will be beneficial. Just invest now and you will not be regret anymore as you will be bitcoin holder and there are lots of benefits for bitcoin holders if he has a complete knowledge about the timing of holding and taking decision.

My situation with the bitcoin was quickly escalated from little trust to high quality investment in no time. Literally I set up my own mining rig within one year of time knowing bitcoin. Later as it became very stricter to mine and costly as well I switched to gpu based mining and I also have “know-how” threads for the same on the forum itself.

That much close I became with the crypto currencies. The starting point was obviously bitcoin for me and it all came down in me from my friend circle who are from IT Background. I’m not sure how I did very well as compared to them so being from technical background is also secondary thing.

As part of investment I only keep buying bitcoin as and when it seems discounted. I do not get involved with too much of a trading due to less time to do all the technical analysis. But yeah, it took no time believing in bitcoin. I’m happy that happened with me. :)

Despite that the price of Bitcoin went down but in the end it will skyrocket again,
making the past as a lesson is much better and useful than just regretting it because it will not produce anything,
Bitcoin investment needs patience and those who are patient will be the winners.
