Title: Electrum-web.com Post by: Poliszka on March 13, 2023, 03:39:39 PM Hello.
A lawyer sent me a link to this site. I will get my stolen money back. But tjis is not original page. This dobt looks good for me. Please confirm that this is fake ? Best Regards Title: Re: Electrum-web.com Post by: OmegaStarScream on March 13, 2023, 03:40:42 PM Yes, it's fake. This is the official electrum website: https://electrum.org/#home
And sadly, if you got your bitcoin stolen, there's probably nothing much you can do unless maybe, if you can trace the funds to a centralized exchange. Title: Re: Electrum-web.com Post by: DireWolfM14 on March 13, 2023, 09:23:33 PM Full on fake, scammy, phishing site.
The whois lookup shows the domain was created three months ago, but their site claims they have 11 years of experience. Obviously trying to trick people into thinking it's hosted by the real Electrum team. It's not. Electrum has no web app or web interface, and it's not a multi-coin wallet. I suggest you fire that lawyer. Code: Domain Name: ELECTRUM-WEB.COM Title: Re: Electrum-web.com Post by: BitMaxz on March 13, 2023, 11:26:08 PM This site will never be the real Electrum site look at the CMS or the website source they do use Laravel. Electrum will never use it instead they manually design their own website to avoid breaches.
Code: Web Framework Laravel Another you can notice on their site is that the email they don't use their own domains. So it's a 100% phishing scam site be careful there are many of them. And I suggest since it's fake/phishing site I suggest report them here below - https://www.hostinger.com/report-abuse https://www.hostinger.com/report-abuse Title: Re: Electrum-web.com Post by: nc50lc on March 15, 2023, 06:57:17 AM A lawyer sent me a link to this site. Not just the site, the lawyer is also a fake.Electrum and Bitcoin don't work like a bank, stolen funds can't be recovered by an authority nor the developers of Electrum or even Bitcoin Core. If you're scammed, chances that it's the same scammer who's trying to get more out of you. |
