Title: How do you feel when people tells their story on bitcoin
Post by: Cryptomiles1 on March 14, 2023, 10:52:45 AM
For long now I have been reading lots of interesting testimonies around the forum about their experience and achievement they made through bitcoin progress. Something very important came into me to know how do you feels whenever someone said of their investment and how it yielded and they made fortune out of it.

Do you feels your late getting involved to the industry and do you wishes to be like them, and if you were in their shoes would you be able to utilize those opportunity they got or you won't afford to bear the risk and get involved?

Lets discuss wisely and get the best from ourselves.

Besides feeling impressed and excited to hear other people's experience and encounter with btc, it also makes me realize how the btc awareness is growing, without these different stories you would not really be able to grasp how widespread btc has grown. Particularly people from remote locations.
As a bitcoiner you can feel nothing but happiness when you hear fellow bitcoiners benefiting from btc.  8)

By just reading and scrolling here in the forum, I've seen a lot of different stories like they succeed and some loss a huge amount of assets. I conclude that it depends on

people's action in this industry whether they can profit big time or not. Of course as I saw successful experiences of other people I feel happy for them and congratulate them.

Those kinds of experiences inspires me and motivates me to have a wise decision sharing their thoughts would also help how can I also to be like them.

Do you feels your late getting involved to the industry and do you wishes to be like them, and if you were in their shoes would you be able to utilize those opportunity they got or you won't afford to bear the risk and get involved?

For me I don't feel late or delayed since you can still learn and keep up to the trends these days. If you always feel fomo it will just lead to bad decisions and losses in this

industry. Much better to learn more and explore more rather than rushing yourself in this industry, go learn have some knowledge and experiences first. And if I were in their

place, I must say I could utilize those opportunity, there's nothing to be fear of having risk if you know what you're capable of.

I'm a little bit envious, but people make fortune not only with Bitcoin and there are a lot more successful people than me. I'm just trying to mind my own business and make my own fortune.

Of course, such stories can only please, because they clearly show the reality of the fulfillment of their desires, thanks to bitcoin.

Feelings that you got into the industry late will not help at the moment and it is better to get rid of them. It is much more productive to feel the new opportunities that the crypto industry creates.

I can't be in the place of others, and fantasies on this subject are also useless.

Past opportunities are missed and therefore, I try to concentrate on the current ones.

It's need a new insight, adoption or movement of Bitcoin, not just same with the others for accepting Bitcoin payment and that's all.

I really curious if accepting Bitcoin payment is really make people to pay with Bitcoin or they still tend to use fiat, if only few people want to use Bitcoin, how we can say accepting Bitcoin is a good and help the stores to improve?

Also if most people don't understand to pay with Bitcoin, it just make you wasting your time to tell or teach them.

I am happy for people who can make money through BTC, but i do not want many people to feel that BTC investment is a means of making a fortune. If everybody shares stories of how they made fortunes through investing in BTC, we cannot even know if the stories are fake or true, but newbies would take it to be true and they may start investing with the hope of making a fortune, which may not happen, and they would not even attempt to learn a thing about BTC, which could make them lose their BTC.
Do you feels your late getting involved to the industry and do you wishes to be like them, and if you were in their shoes would you be able to utilize those opportunity they got or you won't afford to bear the risk and get involved?
I don't know the exact group of people you are talking about, but what i know is that i don't feel late about the time i got involved in BTC investment, but i know if i was involved in BTC very early on, i would have sold a long time ago, but i would have continued to buy more since then, through dca.

Everyone has been in a phase where they feel they are in the last queue in the development of bitcoin or cryptocurrency.  Hopefully their people they are too late to invest.  I started getting to know cryptocurrency in 2018 and at that time I already thought that I was too late to invest.  Then look at what happened now?  Compare how much BTC or altcoin was worth at that time to the current price.  Several cryptocurrencies have hit the ATH in 2020 and 2021. I honestly regret that I once unfollowed the crypto world thinking it was too late.  Currently I have about $3,000 in various types of portfolios and I'm sure in the next 3 to 4 years I will get some profit from them :D

If you read the great stories about their involvement in bitcoin in this forum, I think that is a stark reality because they learned a lot and added to their knowledge while here. Because this is where we can learn and also gain knowledge about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and also teach and provide the best information in terms of profit.
but you also have to know because out there there are still many investors who experience losses, and that's because they don't get a useful space for them to have enough knowledge about bitcoin and do it without knowledge that makes them wrong and lose.
and I don't think it's ever too late to get involved with bitcoin, because bitcoin is the future and also the best long term in terms of profits and also to minimize losses. So do it as long as you have the desire before repeating the delay and regretting it again, and study everything well and don't be lazy to read before getting involved.

I believe it depends on a person. We all have different vices, but jealousy isn't one of mine. So I don't feel sorry that I didn't get in on Bitcoin early, and I don't regret any of mine Bitcoin-related decisions. I'm happy to read successful stories of others, I'm glad that some people knew how to do it right and managed to benefit greatly from that. Also, I feel like I'm a risk-averse person, so I probably would not have risked investing in Bitcoin early on and not selling the minute it starts costing something significant. I did, after all, invest in Ethereum at $16, but I sold at $300. So it would have been similar with Bitcoin, even if I managed to invest in the first place.

Not all stories shared on forum as user experience are facts, some of them are being fictitious for whatever reason. But of course there are some stories that are justifiable and I tend to believe them mainly because they are so inspiring.

To this day I really see the fact that someone who has been investing in bitcoin since 2016 has changed his economic status 180 degrees. Everything changed for him because his financial status was very good since he got to know bitcoin, but I was very touched to hear his stories and the struggle before he got to know bitcoin. I just got this story since I've known this guy in the past year.

I don't have any regrets as far as my investment in bitcoin, I thank God been introduced to it when I was and also thankful for investing what I had and believing in the coin. Though when I hear other peoples opinion about theirs I don't argue because if you have benefited from something you won't know the value.

Yeah, especially the "i help my friend, relative, neighbor to invest in Bitcoin. Though I know it is fulfilling for the mentioned parties but creating too many thread for this kind of experience is somehow redundant, I wonder why don't just they share it under the same thread or under one thread, after all, it is all about helping, teaching people to invest or learn about Bitcoin.

Personally, I feel happy for those who are successful in their Bitcoin venture and feel sorry for those who lost huge amounts of money because of scam companies.   We should be vigilant in our venture into the cryptocurrency industry, many people who participate in this industry are just waiting for the right time to trick others.

I have my own story about Bitcoin)))

In 2015, my friend told me about the first cryptocurrency (Bitcoin).  We sat in a cafe with him and for three hours he drew a diagram of the Bitcoin blockchain on a napkin and talked about the various features of the first cryptocurrency (including colored coins).  I was impressed, although I understood little.  In the evening, lying in bed with my girlfriend, I told her about Bitcoin.

However, he did not impress her.  She looked at me like I was an idiot and said that my friend and I are two fools.  Then I once again tried to figure out the prospects of Bitcoin myself and saw that the price of the first cryptocurrency was constantly falling.

This convinced me that this was not the thing to be interested in.

So I missed the opportunity to invest early in Bitcoin (it was then worth a couple of hundred US dollars).

And then I broke up with this girl.

Well as for me i do feels happy.
I don't always regret at any point because there's this adage that African do says "When you go to bed and sleep, anytime you woke is your morning" this means any time you got information you can utilize at that point without any regretting words of getting the information very late.
Just as you said, most of these information might be true but due to poorly presentation might make those stories fiction.

I know that many people were brought to cryptocurrencies by friends. I've been thinking about Bitcoin since it was worth $100. Yes, I've been in crypto currency for a very long time, and my friend introduced me to crypto like this: he helped me install a wallet on my phone, and threw me a tenth of bitcoin. Unfortunately, I did not save it then, but I am grateful to him for the rest of my life now.

Well, we should rejoice at the accomplishments that have been made by people who have amazing stories about bitcoin. if I read someone's story about bitcoin, what's more, it's an extraordinary story, then I will make that my motivation to achieve the same achievement, or even more. If I had a chance like them, I probably wouldn't be as good as them, but I'll try my best. I have heard many success stories about trading, or businesses involving bitcoin. well, I'm just taking lessons from that, and trying to do the same thing if I were in a similar position.

Despite the fact that I am not as fortunate as an early adopter or big investor in bitcoin, I tend to feel grateful that I am here for bitcoin. I'm not as rich as they are, that's true because I'm not here with a strong economic background to be a big bitcoin investor.

I'm sure I'm not too late, but I doubt very much that I failed to understand that bitcoin today is really higher than I imagined at the beginning of my introduction. Of course I wish I could be as lucky as them but I have to recognize that there is a certain level set for me even if it's not the way I want it to be. The conclucion is the same, I want to take advantage of opportunities and I want to get better at bitcoin like most people.

Sure I also feel very envious of them especially the OGs in Bitcoin who have held thier BTC to this day. It must be very cool to have thousands of these BTC. It's a lot envious when you have already heard BTC back in 2010, has read of them, and yet ignored it.

It encourages me though when people say the ones who learned bTC today are still not late because we are still in the early phase. Well, maybe it's true for people looking for GEMS.

Hearing amazing bitcoin stories motivates me since I usually look up to the top market influencers anytime the market is down for inspiration. Whereas GEMs' bull run is so quick, there is a strong chance that it will end soon if the profits are not taken out in a timely manner. Those traders and investors who targeted the Bitcoin variety in previous decades are now reaping the rewards of the foundation's fruitful work. Bitcointalk is here to stay. On a lengthy timeframe, Bitcoin was cheaper and anyone could buy large amounts of the coin, but today, due to the market's extreme volatility, it's uncommon to witness a coin dump to ATH.

At first, of course I felt envy to those who gained fortune out of his early investments on crypto. I was also quite jealous on the big winning some people got from gambling. But then I had a thought on the risk being of them, which I believe it's not easy for him to trust a newly project with his, perhaps, the only money he had at that time, and cant imagine how the reaction of people around him when hearing he invested his money on unknown thing called bitcoin. He took the risk and now deserve the wealth. On gambling, I'm very sure, before they got their jackpot, they have spent so much as well.

It's natural to feel envy on those good stories, and I think it's not late to start yours.

Idk, but in some cases, girl is one of the reasons why the guy can't take a risk. Not just in bitcoin and crypto investments, but also in other things e.g. when we having a plan to quit a job and start our own business, our gf rejects that idea completely because of the uncertainty future on it. I cant blame your ex-gf though since it's a normal thing, which the risk of losing everything as big as the profit you might get. At least, you still getting into bitcoin now, and I'm sure that you have taken a good lesson from your previous relationship with her.

The fabric of life is so different in each individual than in the objective that is bitcoin, each story can leave different sensations, but that does not matter, one only wants to learn from that path traveled, now!, certainly not only those of success, you have to look at the mistakes that some have made, for example, lose your phrases, FoMo, etc. So, Yes!, the positive stories are refreshing, but you have to take advantage of all the information available, do not only have to look at the success stories. Those are easy... :)

Well a little touched for some, especially when it's a story about how bitcoin changed their lives for the better and how they thanked bitcoin for being the catalyst or sometimes the very reason they are what they are right now. I've been in the same spot as well, just some snotty-nosed brat in a neighborhood you won't expect any good's gonna come from with all the violence and all that other bad stuff, but with bitcoin coming around to help me, it really changed my life for the better. Was able to help a lot of people, change the lives of many and is now a walking and talking proof of bitcoin's capacity to help people. It may not always stay like this and bitcoin may fall in grace in the future, but it's not gonna change the fact that without it ever existing, things wouldn't be the same for me, at least I think.

How do you feel when people tells their story on bitcoin
I get a different feeling when people talk about Bitcoin. But let me share with you a real experience from my life. One day I went to the hospital with my mother and admitted her and sat outside. There are some people discussing bitcoin and investing and trading. There I stopped and slowly started to mingle among them. I felt so good then that I felt like I had arrived somewhere. After talking to them they were very happy to have me as a member of their forum. But the amazing thing is that they all entered here only a year or two ago. They respected me a lot as I was relatively older than them. But I shared some of my trading and investment experience with them.

Definitely, when you hear or read people's testimonies about the huge sums of money they have made in crypto, you will feel a sensation of energy spreading from your heart across your body, and at that moment, you will feel like you are the one who has already made such a huge profit. You will feel happy and be in a state of contemplation when you can make such big money in crypto.

OP, Outside of the forum, I have also read about some men who made a fortune out of Bitcoin. I can't do anything but imagine if it was possible that I was not very young then when Bitcoin was developed. I was less than 15 years old when Bitcoin was developed.

If I had entered into Bitcoin when it was still $1–$10, I probably would have sold it at $30 or even less and counted it as a big profit. So no regrets for me, though I am gradually accumulating my Bitcoin, and if the price comes up, I will definitely make a big profit too. After all, people who made fortunes in Bitcoin did so because they were exposed early, and I myself will also make the huge profit meant for me based on the time I got involved in Bitcoin. If I only hold for a long time, I will make a profit. Perhaps I have more than 22 years before I turn 50, so I believe in the next 20 years to come the Bitcoin price will rise.

I do believe that is to be case, plus if it is in numbers it becomes even harder to be jealous of someone. If your friend gets suddenly super rich, like got millions of dollars, then I could sort of understand and see why that could make you feel worse, because in the end it is just one person and you can see how they grew to be that much richer.

However, when you hear about thousands of people getting richer online, that becomes a bit more like a situation where you could definitely accept it because they are both strangers to you but also there are thousands of people like that. I do not feel envy at all to bitcoin whales because they are just way too many.

Being jealous or being envy into those people who do get in early is something that we cant really avoid since we do like on getting rich or able to experience it out on having tons of money on just simply holding.
We are just humans on which it is really just that normal that we do really like to experience the best things. If we do have lots of money then we could do thing that we want and if ever there are someone who do
shares up their story about success then i do feel that kind of boost up and i dont really have those feelings that you are already late on the party but of course you wont really be targeting out on bitcoin
if you do wish up on x1000 kind of hit but rather go into those low cap coins.Yes, its risky but the opportunity is there.

For those successful stories, I'm happy. No sign that I've felt left behind by those stories because I also got mine that I can say that's satisfying and successful for me to say.
As long as the stories are legitimate and not just a writer's fantasy made, I think we have that nature that we can feel and figure it out that they're just making up stories for them to attract people to invest in bitcoin. It's much better for those that have been doing that to stop it and just share genuine stories that are really happening and making people interested in bitcoin naturally and not with a way of hyping it which we've seen many times when the market is up and high. There were also sad stories that have been commonly shared on how they've missed investing in bitcoin too early and that's happening again for some people.

I understand how someone always feels when trying to share their successful stories most times it started making them to feels as if others aren't wisely enough to share their own side of the story or possibly thinking others don't have luck as they did but deeply those who don't care to tell their part are mostly successful but refuses to share due to some security reasons I guess so imo.

There's this local adage in where I reside that when you celebrate other people's success, yours is already coming your way. Unless those with evil mind if not you'll have to celebrate others success. I do feel happy hearing stories of such kind and nevertheless I am also not late to start despite I started not long ago. Though just like mk4 assumption, some of the stories here are fabricated in order to receive merits. I don't know why a grown up adult will fabricate or lies in order to receive merits.

On this forum, many people have recounted their experiences with how bitcoin has helped them protect their assets during trying times, paid for their businesses in bitcoin, made them rich, and a host of other experiences that I can't include here.

Nonetheless, reading all those stories gives me hope that the primary reason Satoshi invented bitcoin is still having an impact on people's lives. All of these occurrences demonstrate how widely used bitcoin is and how people are starting to accept it.

It never came into my mind about being late. It is what it is. Rather than spending time thinking about what happened in the past and the missed opportunities, it is best to just use our brain cells on what the future may come. There's always an opportunity everywhere for us to take advantage of. Hearing about successful stories, I am happy for them and it inspires me to work harder in order to reach their level.

Talking about the past, I am one of those that have an opportunity to become a dollar millionaire last halving but my emotions started to play against me and I also made a financial commitment that was too big for me to handle. And so I made the hard sacrifice of selling my bitcoins ranging from $3k to $4k. It was sad that I sold them at the lowest prices before the 2021 halving. But that was it, I learned the hard way. All I can say is that experience is really different no matter how much knowledge you earned from the past. Emotions are always not based on knowledge but on how big the portfolio is.

I wasn't very late when I got into BTC but yeah I feel bad for me because I wasn't too sure that BTC is here to stay which is why I always used to sell any BTC that I got in early times. Let's say I was in a signature campaign back then, I used to get around 0.5 BTC weekly which wasn't a small amount but I thought I should sell and take out the USD. Nowadays, watching where BTC is, I truly regret what did I do during my early days with BTC. 🥺

Do you feels your late getting involved to the industry and do you wishes to be like them, and if you were in their shoes would you be able to utilize those opportunity they got or you won't afford to bear the risk and get involved?
(....)
In the beginning yes, especially before when I started to discover Bitcoin around 2017, I was really thinking always that I should've known Bitcoin for a long time already.
But as time goes by, I became used to by and realized that it's like a cycle; there will be new people who also will same in my situation or even people who discover Bitcoin before me who experienced the same situation as mine.

It would depend on stories that I would hear or read,
If those are great achievements then, most of the time I would be inspired and try to achieve my goals as hard as I could.
If those are failed investment or somehow funny experience that I could relate on then I would just laugh it out.
But most of the stories that I hear or read about crypto are their achievements and how crypto changed their life those stories really inspired me and drive my eagerness to invest and do much more in crypto to be successful like them and also experienced telling my great achievement some day.

'The word is "ENTHUSIASM", it gives me a strong excitement and strong interest to the person who are sharing his bitcoin and cryptocurrency journey. There are only few people who are getting interested on bitcoin so we are really lucky if there are someone arounds us who are aware and have knowledge and basic foundation about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Recently, I met a girl and she said that he made an investment in bitcoin and other financial market, it is a big points for me becuase she is aware on the opportunities and abundance in this world.

For those who keep saying that it is now too late to make investment in bitcoin, you are wrong because we are still in early phase. The price of the bitcoin is still low and there are a lot of opportunities that you can get from the market. Start now, build slow and the money will follow.

Different experiences always tell different stories. Their testimonies will increase the awareness of each individual who wants to get involved in Bitcoin investing, people who want to start Bitcoin investing are very interested in hearing the success stories experienced by others. Sometimes they feel they are left behind by the boat because they don't have time to put their things when someone else receives the package.
It's never too late, everyone still has the same opportunity, the movement of Bitcoin which is always up and down offers every opportunity for anyone who wants to enter because the main concept is to buy at a low price then sell at a high price.

I missed the best time, but no matter when I started buying bitcoin, I would not share my successes, since this is an unnecessary attraction of unnecessary attention. It is clear that those who bought at the very beginning and hold all this time made a very big profit, but most stories say that they sold early and only a few were able to hold bitcoin until now.

I love hearing people talk about Bitcoin in front of me. And sometimes they share some misconceptions about Bitcoin with everyone that I hear and tell them that the things you are discussing are somewhat wrong and when I point out the wrong things they talk about and I give them the correct answer. Then they asked me how did you know so much about Bitcoin. Then I tell them that everything is possible if there is a will. I learned a lot about Bitcoin from my own will power. And I will know more in the future. To be honest, talking about Bitcoin from other people's mouths is one of my favorite times. And I enjoy that time very much.

I think when people share their stories about Bitcoin it can be a valuable source of information and insight into the industry and hearing about other people's experiences can help us understand the potential benefits and risks associated with investing in cryptocurrency.

In terms of being "late" to the industry, for me or others if you want and want to please note "It's never too late" there is always an opportunity if someone wants and wants to seriously invest here because there is still a lot of room for growth and innovation.

I really feel great when I hear about the investment stories of other people. I mean, finally, there were some people who followed their guts and invested in the coins when everyone else had trust issues. Now they are able to make the maximum profit out of it, and I really feel proud of their brave decisions. If I were in their place, probably I would not have the guts to invest in the coins, which don’t have a certain future. Moreover, back in the day, before 2018, Bitcoins were severely considered illegal. So yes, it is always great to hear people’s stories about bitcoin and how they are getting benefits from it.

Some of the stories of Bitcoin I hear from people are actually emotional especially from the beginning of the stories. It is always a story of from grass to Grace.
Always a story of taking some risk.
Majority of people who believed bitcoin when it was worth nothing were not having much money. They were people struggling to survive so they had to make the sacrifice and it profited them. Because people that had  money might not be concerned about something that doesn't even have value.

Although there is a possibility of loss in Cryptocurrency, but I have profited more. Then, most people didn't know about cryptocurrencies.  But now many people are know of this.I am so glad that I have succeeded, that I have found some people to know about this, how to do it properly and benefit greatly from it.

This is absolutely one of my favourite activities I carry out on the forum during my spare time. I find it quite exciting to read the stories or testimonies of how they invested in bitcoin, the impact it is making in their lives, how they are accepting bitcoin in their business, how they are creating awareness about bitcoin in their communities and localities through various means. It gives me hope about the future of bitcoin.

Actually, I utilize these stories whenever I have to speak to an individual who is enthusiastic about cryptocurrency but doesn't want to invest in bitcoin because they feel that it is too late to get involved or for some other reasons. I find that these stories offer some sort of hope, inspiration and motivation to them.

For this market, joining sooner or later doesn't mean anything, I think how long we can stay in the market is what matters. There are many people who enter the market very early but then quickly leave the market with losses because they think it is just a get-rich-quick place. Besides, there are late market participants, but they stay in the market despite the market crash and their belief will always bring well-deserved rewards. It's never too late to invest, not only with bitcoin but all financial markets.

I feel hopeful after reading all of those success stories. I probably would have sold bitcoin early as well if I had entered the market when it was still low valued. Therefore, for those who regret their decision to sell early, I find it as a joke. Even though my story is not as big as theirs, I am happy and satisfied with my success. As a result, I am not left behind because we are here and our stories continue. Additionally, sad stories of people who failed to make an early investment in bitcoin were frequently told, and it will happen against and again for those who do not act and continue to have doubts.

Listening to people telling you their story on bitcoin is an added advantage because there are some experience which they had during the process that would in some way be of benefit  more especially when the person listening is a new bie.
Personally, i got onboard bitcoin some years past which is not too bad and I believe there are more things Still do be learnt. Merely listening to some one telling you their story on bitcoin is a lecture class you are having because that alone can keep you abreast of information about bitcoin how it started, how far it has gone and where it is going to. Sincerely speaking, I feel like if I had known bitcoin long enough before now I could have sold many times and still but back to balance equation.

Every one story is different on how they got here but we all got here because we want to make money and do not want to trust banks and with the recent news of the banks failing for the 2nd time in a decade I think it is more important to focus on the amount of people coming to Bitcoin instead of their story. I have not heard many people say that they converted to Bitcoin because they lost trust in banks instead it is usually because they are looking for new ways to earn Bitcoin that fiat does not offer like faucets in the early days and because there is not as much competition in Bitcoin services.

Everyone couldn't have come into Bitcoin investment at the same time and I bet even if you knew about Bitcoin in its early days you probably wouldn't have invested and not everyone that got in early made profits from it cos people didn't really take it seriously as it is today.  Investing in Bitcoin isn't late as some people think it is because of the price. $69k was too high and even when the market fell to $15+ some were still waiting to see more drop.
If you really want to invest in Bitcoin, all the dips and FUDs that have happened over the years are positive to prove Bitcoin will only continue to grow after all the negatives and when you make up your mind to get in, is your start to financial gains.

I don't think it's too late to join and invest in bitcoin because I've been doing it for a long time. But I guess people can tell stories about how they are progressing with investing in bitcoin and hopefully, they can make big profits in the next bull run and still be able to stay afloat until the time comes.

And if I were in their position, maybe I would try to take the opportunity to start investing in bitcoin. Of course, I will look for as much information as possible about bitcoin and the right way to invest in bitcoin so I can find out what to do. If they are already familiar with bitcoins, they will focus on accumulating more bitcoins, especially if they know that a correction is a good time to invest in more bitcoins.

For me I believe there is no late comer in bitcoin, so one don't have to feel bad or regret for coming late. What matters is coming at the right time, a time when one is prepared for bitcoin in learning and to bring forth better result from it. I appreciate knowing bitcoin at the actual time, I don't see it as knowing  it late. It is a privilege to embrace bitcoin at the time I fully understood it better than knowing it earlier without any knowledge. Everyone can't be in the industry at the same time, everyone who comes to it at any time will still get the good benefits of bitcoin.

I'm a little bit envious, but people make fortune not only with Bitcoin and there are a lot more successful people than me. I'm just trying to mind my own business and make my own fortune.

No need to be jealous of other people's success bro. Just make other people's success stories to encourage ourselves to try to be better day by day. Try to always be grateful for what you have and what you are doing now, it is not certain that other people can also have their own business and make money like you are now.
I think everyone has their own success according to their capacity and abilities. Remember there are still many people who are not more successful than you are right now, there are still many who are struggling with hunger, misery and poverty out there.
If we continue to be jealous and always want success to be achieved like other people, it will make us feel like failures and can damage our own mental health. It is better for us to remain grateful for what we have now and do everything with full diligence and keep trying even harder to be better and more successful.

Being jealous is normal since we are just human beings which we would really be wishing up that to those things that happen into others would happen into us but we know that there's fate on where it does

really depend on the things that you had done in the past.It is really just turning out that there are situations which we do really miss out and thats why we do really end up on getting behind the train.
We do hear off different stories from people who do missed out the golden train and who do able to ride it on.

Different stories we do have but we do only have 2 types which would really be common. To those people who had been get rich and to those who didnt able to jump in.

Of course I should feel happy for people, but these stories got so redundant that I don't even know if the stories are real or if they're fabricating the stories just so they hopefully receive merits.
There’s always a sense of happiness and satisfaction if you hear successful stories of bitcoin. While others fail and end up quitting, some are just determined to move forward and succeeded in the end. However, you cannot expect for all stories to be like this, some are just too good to be true that made us realize if they are really happening or they just want to attract positive merits in the forum.

It’s a human nature to sometimes feel an envy towards the success of others, but more than that, we should be grateful for what they have done. They have worked hard on it so they deserved to be compensated once it paid off. After all, we know we’ll also get there as long as we never stop thriving and focus on our goal, and of course with patience, we will eventually succeed in the end.

First of all, Obviously this depends on the story of each individual person. Some stories especially about the early birds entering the market at very low levels, i feel somehow it would have been better if I was early to the market. But then I see some other people who are late yet made a good fortune due to some good altcoin, this makes me confident that gaining huge in this market is still a possibility.

If we hear and see the success of other people, let alone those closest to us, we really have to make these success stories a trigger for us to be better. but don't just look at the success stories of other people, that's not enough. We also have to be willing and brave to see other people's failure stories as well so that it can be a reminder for us to continue to be careful in everything we do in order to minimize and avoid examples of failure that other people have experienced.

if other people can take advantage of opportunities well from Bitcoin we can too. we must be able to take advantage of all available opportunities and believe that success will always come to those who try hard and do not give up easily when faced with problems or losses. because there are some people when they haven't been able to reach the desired target or can't be as successful as other people, sometimes they will feel like a failure because they are jealous of seeing other people's success.

We always feel regretful for not having involved with bitcoin earlier, but I guess we would regret much more later if we don't get involved with it on the present moment. Of course the potential profit someone starting to invest now is much inferior than the profit already made by an early investor, but it's still possible to be benefited by increasements in btc price. The predictions are really positive regards the coming years, so it definitely worth a try to acquire bitcoin at the currently moment.

That's normal if you come from a 3rd world country. At that time, the locals and I didn't even have electricity to use, let alone a phone to use, those things were too expensive for us. My parents also only had the opportunity to use smartphones in the last 3 years when cheap products were sold.
Regarding bitcoin investing, there will always be a chance to get started with it because the future is unpredictable. And in investing, it doesn't matter how early or late you come, but how long you last in this market. Those who stay last are the winners.

If I read someone's success story because they achieved what they wanted and it was because of bitcoins, I feel motivated and want to do more to collect lots of bitcoins. It feels like getting extra energy to try harder than before to achieve what I want.

I don't feel like I'm late in the industry or joining bitcoin because I know that as long as the price is below what it is now, I still have time and don't want to waste it. And the most important thing is that we can learn how they achieved that success and apply it to us so we can be successful too.

I think the best rule is not to tell anyone about your successes, happiness loves silence.I can only be happy for those who share their successes in public and receive interesting information and tips on how they were able to achieve success in our industry.I think that everything is still ahead of me,slowly but surely.

I am definitely very happy and appreciate it when someone does something really new with Bitcoin and shares his story here. But with the amount of Bitcoin stories we see these days, it's doubtful that all of them are true stories. But the more I look at them, the more I am amazed at how much Bitcoin is developing day by day.  And hopefully we will see more and better Bitcoin stories in the coming days.

Why don't you want to share your success story with others?  Your success story may inspire others to Bitcoin and to do something new so I don't think it's bad to share any success story with anyone. Someone's success story will help us understand how much Bitcoin is developing day by day or how important role it is playing globally.

Depends on how they deliver their story. If it is pure biases then non-investors won't even be encouraged to do so. Many people nowadays are aware of the risks involved in this industry. There are even FUDs regarding this technology's downfall. Bitcoin stories are meant to persuade people to be investors of cryptocurrencies, in this industry. I'd be more encouraged with ways how an investor managed the risks of doing so because it will simply give me the idea on how to lessen tendencies of losing money.

Well there are times silence is the best option in order to avoid bad things to escalate. But thay depends on the person around you. If you are seeing potential of them seeking profitable investment, then opening up this technology would be a good idea for them to have more options on their interest. But if the individual has no knowledge of how this industry works, guilt is more likely to be felt on your end as sharer. Especially once they suffer from losses.

Yes, it's not always advisable to reveal everything about your own success. There are always people who don't begrudge you success and become jealous. Unfortunately, this happens in all areas. Especially if you have become rich through bitcoins, you should be careful. Otherwise you suddenly become the target of criminals.  :(

Either way, it is advisable to be happy about the success of others and not to be jealous. You should see it as a motivation and be inspired to become successful.  ;)

Well, TBH, sometimes I feel that I am a bit late to be involved in Bitcoin investment. But I think everyone has their own luck, I also should have my luck in Bitcoin although I didn't join it earlier. So, I never think to be like them, it is impossible.  :D  I only expect that Bitcoin will last a long time, so I still can gain profits as much as possible in the future. Just forget to imagine being other people who have got their luck in Bitcoin, we are better to focus on our own way in Bitcoin. At least, we are lucky that we are involved in Bitcoin now.

Those invested early and risk in Bitcoin deserves what they get if they become successful or have success story because of Bitcoin. It takes courage to invest in Bitcoin even before since we don't know what will happen and if there will be a value on it. Luckily, the price went up and those who invest and hold their BTC able to experience it's growth. We still don't know what the future lies in Bitcoin but I still consider myself lucky in being able to earn from Bitcoin or crypto knowing many people still not aware Bitcoin exist or not knowledgeable in crypto to take advantage on how to make profit from it.

Of course I should feel happy for people, but these stories got so redundant that I don't even know if the stories are real or if they're fabricating the stories just so they hopefully receive merits.
It’s a great feeling if you also celebrate the success of others and you tend to be grateful of their achievements rather than secretly wishing their failure and losses. However, with all those positive feedbacks and talks about great achievements with bitcoin, you can never tell if some are just riding the hype or they are actually sharing their real experience. But whatever it is, I’m happy once they are happy and feeling fulfilled.

To be honest, when I was still new in this forum, I always wish to be like those who are already experiencing the verge of their success in bitcoin. But as I grow more in the forum, I have realized that we have to be the best of what we can be so we can be successful in everything that we do, and bitcoin is not an exception. So from then on, I just focus on working for myself and take advantage on every opportunity that comes that will pave way on my one’s success and just be happy whenever I heard different successful stories with bitcoin.

There’s no reason not to feel happy for them, knowing they dedicated their life to achieve success in the end. Feel intimidated? Of course, no. Why should I? When I know that success can be certain as long as we aim and work hard for it, and eventually become open minded to absorb positive insights that will help me becoming successful. If we can be happy for them, that’s the best we can do and appreciate all their efforts being put to it.

Sometimes, you hear from the stories, sometimes you become one.
I was in crypto for a very long time now, I can be called an early learner but not adopter because I didn't buy BTC in those early days and kept waiting for it to fall each time it pumped. So my wait remained as it is and I never invested in it, was so damn lucky to see it at $120 but didn't go for it. It is a sad story, yet a story to learn something from it. It's not just about the latecomers, it is about the late action takers.

Nah, but I do put myself into their shoes and start from there. The story might be BS or not, I don't care since I might forget the thread anyway. It's not like I would be really inspired by their words with just a few exceptions.
In Trading Discussion board, I do become the most skeptical when it comes to reading around their "trading stories and success" there. mk4 is right that it is kinda getting redundant now and it might be better off just discussing it with the people that is within your social circle and surely they'll believe you with no doubt.

Jealousy is never my thing also. I would be happy to see those successful stories and become more motivated in my own thing. At least, with all the risks that are known to bitcoin, I’m glad that they have conquered all of them and end up rejoicing and earn huge amount of profits. Maybe if I was also very positive about bitcoin before, I could have been on the same shoes too. But I know we all have our own time to shine, and right now I’m still in the process for achieving success.

If it is really the "crypto" thing I will very happy. But most of the people I know they reffering crypto either for a certain game they are playing or an online casino which unfortunately using only the term crypto just to get attention to those who don't really know crypto. I remembered my neighbor when he got scam he make a scene in our compound and said "crypto is down, it is scam" and she started cursing crypto.

Most of them just limit themselves and never tries to know the reality. It have got risk, but very few believe it to be real whereas the majority say it a scam. Similar incident happened with me when I spoke about bitcoin to a brother. He just started don't get trapped and loss all your money. He started to say things negatively and I wasn't able to argue, finally ended that he hadn't experienced anything. His friend have experienced a massive loss out of the market fluctuation and so he doesn't want to risk. This is how most of the people stay away and spread negative things about bitcoin. This mentality need to change.

I know I am still struggling in making my trades and investments successful but that does not mean that I cannot appreciate the good things that are happening to other people. They deserve the success because they are entitled for it, which only means everything they did in the past paved their way into its success. And never will I feel self-pity seeing they have an edge over me, because I know in the right time I will also achieve what they have been experiencing right now. Stay positive and good things will eventually follow.

As I know already about crypto, hearing from others about their crypto journey is quite interesting for me. I love hearing about the bad and good times in their crypto journey and perhaps, sharing experiences could also boost trust and confidence in us. And to know that we are not just the only person who has been experiencing difficulties.

We can also hear some advice from them which we can also use someday. More sharing of experience can make us think that crypto isn't just a simple and easy investment, and could give us some insights into what will happen to us in the future.

Isn't that the whole purpose of it? People who act as if they are jealous of that person doesn't really feel like they understand the whole concept. I mean if that person did it, then you can do it as well, maybe that person did it a lot quicker but they still did it whereas we are talking about a situation where only a few people can realize they would be rich too if they buy now and hold it for a decade or so.

I believe that we should be all hopeful to see those people who made a profit and not be sad about it. In fact it is a lot better to see people who would be seeing something like this because it mean that it is possible and we should be possible about it too.

I am always eager to read stories of early adopters of Bitcoin although I often feel a bit disappointed that I joined lately in term of investment, however I do learn alot from traders who shared their trading experience here because I am presently into trading which I think is another alternative means for late comers to earn some decent profits, I carefully read stories about crypto traders especially future traders it advantages and disadvantages in a bid to learn and put it into use having tried previously future trading and got burnt with massive losses, I had gained and learnt a lot and getting set to return to future trading.

Everyone who shares a success story about Bitcoin investment is to some point inspiring to me and to some point unwise. If everyone is talking about the success story, it will look as if there is no one with bad experience why trading or investing on Bitcoin. Especially in this forum, I see many success stories of how Bitcoin changed people's lives, how they made a fortune, how it helped them save for rent, pay tuition fees, etc. But I barely see people with stories about people who lost their entire fortune because of bad investment decisions; is there no one with bad trading experience?

It's good to share success stories, but let's also add to the fact that one's success story should not just inspire us to make an investment move, forgetting that we all don't share the same faith. Why, when sharing success stories, we should also at the end add a warning note telling people how the market might sometimes turn against them.

From my POV, it's never too late to enter the crypto world. And I take motivation from others success, but I don't want to become like them. I will give my best doing anything in life and wait for the result and where it will take me. Chasing other's dream will only take you no where. I like to make my own plans and stick to it.
I don't know about being able to utilize anything until I try it out myself. So no idea. But if I were in their shoes, I would have given my best there too. Outcome may differ.

I really enjoy reading stories like this, both here and elsewhere on the internet. I myself have shared a little bit of my history (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5441136.msg61813910#msg61813910) with Bitcoin, even if it is very modest when you compare it to others.

I find it necessary to counterbalance a bit the press and newspaper articles that allow themselves to write anything and everything about Bitcoin and Bitcoiners, without understanding anything. The good thing is that the stories here are written by Bitcoiners and not by journalists who don't know what a seed or pool is.

Whether it's positive or negative stories for their respective OPs, it's always good to have feedback on decisions, behaviors, and life choices: especially when those decisions or life choices are based on Bitcoin. I feel that for the past ten years we have all been acting as "crash tests" for future generations, well those who have decided to go all in on BTC. So it's always good to get their feedback.

The great success stories of some people can help to offset some of the big FUD that is regularly around BTC, and that can probably have a positive impact.

We always hear the regret of being late in Bitcoin. When Bitcoin hit 100$, people said its now too late to invest in bitcoin as the price has gone too high. Same was said when bitcoin went up to 1000$ and so on. We need to understand that its never too late to invest in. Price of Bitcoin has gone up significantly as compared to what it was in 2011 or 2012 but that doesn't mean the game is over. Few weeks back price of Bitcoin was 16k and today its 27k, a jump of 7k in just few weeks time.
