My First Bitcoin Success Story.

When the price of Bitcoin drops a lot. Then I buy bitcoins with some of my savings. And tell my friends to buy some bitcoins too.  A few of my friends bought some bitcoins with me.

The Bitcoin market has been bearish for a long time.
Many then Many people are commenting on Bitcoin. I have some friends who used to criticize this bitcoin a lot. They were saying that the price of Bitcoin would never go up. Gradually the price will fall further. But I did not give up hope. I was so patient that the price of Bitcoin would go up I knew. And researched Bitcoin.

Now with me who was buying bitcoins. They are very happy. Their dreams have come true.

And those who criticized a lot. They are regretting it now.
Then I told them. It is not right to comment on something without researching it.  I have been doing a lot of research on Bitcoin. Then investing and asking others to do it.  Now they are showing a lot of interest in Bitcoin.

Take a lesson from here. That If someone wants to invest. Then do your own research. Never make bad comments about other people  And patience is the biggest thing. He who is patient will definitely get success.

I shared an incident that happened to me. If any such incident happens to you, please let us know.

Alright just make it simple, just post your Bitcoin address and sign a message to prove your ownership, otherwise you're lying and not telling the truth. The recent dump was at March 10, 2023 and November 10, 2022 - Early January, 2023, so must be bought Bitcoin at those date where Bitcoin was declining.

There's no any rumor or news about the upcoming Bitcoin adoption, I think everyone also surprised to see Bitcoin price suddenly increase since it's unpredictable.

It is your money and it is your decision after your research. I congratulate you for your early or first success with your Bitcoin investment. However, let me send you a reminder. Getting profit in cryptocurrency market is easy, sometimes more easily than you think BUT protecting your profit and your capital in this market is MORE DIFFICULT.

Perhaps you have yet known about it and have yet experienced about it but time will help you understand.

The only thing I never believe in anyone who only share about their success in this market but never told about their failures, loses make me less believe in their stories. If you are newbies, your story can be true but if you are in this market a few years and never had any loses, that story is untrue.

I know right, there's no guarantee that the bitcoin will increase and will come back in the market since its volatile. If the OP really bought a lot with the dump mentioned then congratulations but it sounds to be true. However, if you only lie just to open a thread then it's not a good idea. Statistics doesn't like but if the OP have proof then good for you. Buying bitcoin in bullish market is a dumb idea so if you bought a lot in the past months before bullish we'd would like to see it.

I would say your friends that invested with you got lucky.  When it comes to investing or anything that has to with something using their money to participate I try as much as possible to avoid involving others because you never can tell what will be the end result and if it turns out to be a scam you'll be the one that they till blame everything on.

But in your case they just happened to make some profit because the price shot up but what if they price went the opposite direction instead what would you have done?
Op,  next time just tell them about bitcoin what it is, and how it works but never try to force them to invest in it let them make that decision by themselves.

Many success stories like this have been shared on the forum and I personally feel that it is either true or just a story without any truth.

OP just informed us that he has made some profit from the coins he purchased when the price was low and he is celebrating his success story. Yes, there was no news about the current mini-bull run but there are countless materials that predict the rise in the price of Bitcoin. Although many of these predictions are not precise but they always remind us to be patient and brave because hodling will always bring good news.

The current fall of some regional banks in the US and Switzerland ( Silicon Valley Bank and  Credit Suisse) might be the direct or indirect reason for the rise in the price of bitcoin. Maybe people are beginning to understand that banks cannot be trusted. The legendary American actress Sharon Stone recently revealed that she has lost half of her fortune in Silicon Valley Bank. That's why some people might be buying Bitcoin so that they can own and control their money.

I am fed up with this kind of stories, which are a blatant attempt at merit fishing. When they are accompanied by evidence, like photos or screenshots, I can believe them, but not the kind of story the OP tells, unless it is accompanied by a signed message to back it up, as you say. In a Spanish forum that I visit, not signing a message to prove what he says could lead to a massive report and a ban, although in this one, which is so tough for certain things, this doesn't happen. This is with some exception, as the OP could claim that he has the bitcoins on Coinbase or some similar site and cannot sign a message.

However, there are people whose risk tolerance is so low that Bitcoin might not really be for them. There are those who criticize Bitcoin as an investment. For me, the real reason isn't what they're telling the public like Bitcoin doesn't have intrinsic value, it is not properly regulated, it lacks consumer protection, it's too volatile, and so on and so forth.

The truth may be that Bitcoin simply isn't for them. They simply can't take that investment in Bitcoin could mean that their portfolio could lose 80% of its value. They cannot bear that possibility.

There are many friends in our society who find all our activities a joke. No matter what you do, there will always be some friends who oppose you. But they really don't know that well. For example, you invested in Bitcoin knowing everything, but because of bad market conditions, the price of Bitcoin could not increase and your friend made fun of you for your failure.I say stay away from these guys. Those who will not learn anything themselves and will not allow others to learn anything can never be friends.

You hold bitcoins longer and trust bitcoins. Surely you will be successful one day and your friends will be sorry to see you.

There are people whom I told about Bitcoin and that I believe it will rise. The price was around $6k at that point, it was after the 2018 price drop. They said that they think Bitcoin is shady, a financial pyramid. I didn't put much effort into convincing them of the opposite, I merely outlined why I think they are wrong. Yet these were the kind of people who would never recognize they were wrong. They just forget that they were and never admit that I was right or think of investing in Bitcoin (or that there was a time when it was the right thing to do). So I think those friends of the op who are regretting something at least recognized their mistakes and might learn from them, which makes it a positive story.

OP, I feel you made your friends think of Bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme, which it is not; maybe you would have given them a better explanation had the Bitcoin price not increased. Did you think telling them about the risk would make them decide not to invest? Promoting Bitcoin means telling people the full details about it, because when you tell them the only thing they want to hear is, "Invest now and when the price goes up, you will make profit." That's a bad promotion habit and could also cause your friends to blame you and think bad of Bitcoin.

Of course, when you buy something at a low price and then have the patience to wait and when the price is getting high then it can be time to smile and celebrate. Your success story is not something new and there are now many people who got benefitted by the journey of Bitcoin to the top...though we must say that this journey has been an up and down experience. Those who did not have the diamond hands always will be regretting when the time is getting good. Congrats on your Bitcoin success story!

Thanks to your patience you have seen success in Bitcoin investing. Congratulations, to you for this. Those of us who are connected with cryptocurrency certainly know about Bitcoin and believe in Bitcoin. And there is no possibility of ever losing money by investing in Bitcoin. If you buy Bitcoin and hold it for a long time, you will gain more because the market is currently bullish and will grow further. Since you see the risk of profit from investing, you invest more. but you don't force your friends to invest, it will be good for you if they trust your word and invest in Bitcoin.

At this time it will require investors to have bigger amount to invest and hold until the price went high. If OP is able to hold bigger amounts means there is a chance he is able to earn a bigger return. But if not it will not be that much. Only those who are able to invest too early like early 2017 or later will be able to get much in bitcoin as the price is too low during those times. Though being able to still earn now in bitcoin is already a success story as it’s hard to invest during pandemic and some opted to pull out their investments because of their situations.

Some people's success stories are of different coins that could be shared but instead, they chose to frame a story behind bitcoin, what for? Well, maybe because of their urge for merit rewards. Since OP had posted this topic, he hasn't come online to back up his story, so I wouldn't want to jump to a conclusion yet. The story looks catchy and interesting though.

After reading OP’s other topics regarding bitcoin investments, I’m more than certain this story was fabricated to fish merit from sentimental members. The OP was very vague in regards to when he bought the bitcoins, where he stored them and how long he kept the bitcoins. I have noticed threads like this tend to be all about how profitable bitcoin investments and what they have achieved with their profits. In one of his topics, OP was recommending using centralized exchanges to store bitcoins. So much for doing research on bitcoin.

If you manage to survive the bearish period then it will get a good profit, let your friend continue to criticize because he doesn't understand how the bitcoin cycle actually is so he keeps on commenting bad things about bitcoin that keeps saying negative things so I think friends like that don't need to be respond in the end he will regret how not to buy bitcoin when the price is down.


Whatever you do with this investment, of course there must be research done, not just because of FOMO or hype you buy bitcoin, but because you have to know and understand the bitcoin concept of movement in the market during bearish or rallying times.
There is no need to respond to other people's comments because after all we are enjoying this success ourselves and it is clear that long term investing in bitcoin will be better than any other investment.


Maybe he keeps it in another wallet, or is he still holding assets on the exchange even though it is a big risk for him.

I am happy we are beginning to question all the bitcoin good omen stories that have flooded this board for so long now, I don't know what the aim for doing that is but I am sure anyone that truly have a good experience and story with Bitcoin will definitely have some evidence to share to support the claims.

-I am tired of members coming up with fabricated stories, bitcoin is an activities that have track records and data that can be revisited any time as a reference but this days most thread don't have any accurate references and it baffles me.

Almost everyone now has a success story regarding when and how they bought Bitcoin when the price was low, and now that the price has pumped, it's now a big win for them.

I am happy for your decision to hold and prove to your proclaimed friend that the price will do well in the near future, which it did, but you also forgot to let them know why, arguing that even if the price goes down as they predict, as a true Bitcoin believer, you will never give up on it until you achieve your dream price.

People tends to believe what you tell them based on real-life experience, now that you have invested and have a success story, those who seem not interested will come back to ask you to teach them now, but won't blame them because some of them might have been a victim of fraudsters before.

Let's let his words be believed. I checked his posting history. The OP is a big fan of bounty reports. Also, a pastry chef ;D. But one post, which was at the end of 2022, suggests that he might still have bought a little.


There are a lot of storytellers on the forum, but maybe for the OP, the few dollars he was able to win are the perfect profit. And I do not see the need for him to prove something; no one here owes anything to anyone. :)

Your thoughts align with mine in this aspect. Like why are they even asking him/her to prove what he said while he's not soliciting for help or funds? There are numerous cook stories of this type in the forum which have make the authenticity of such experiences questionable. Majority of them are after merits. I used to overlook and scroll pass such posts. Yo'll can do same, that would reduce the fabricated story of Bitcoin, I think.

What is the purpose of this topic dude? to tell us that you have bitcoins, what if you have Bitcoin? So did someone ask you if you have bitcoin? didn't anyone ask you here?

Then it's very easy to tell a story, even though I can say that I have 100 bitcoins here in this forum I don't even show that it's actually in my wallet address with a signed message. Do you think most people will believe me when this happens? You know I don't see any sense in what was said dude, I'm sorry I've read a lot in this forum like your post that just boasted but there was no proof of what they were bragging about.

Investment is a thing that is in your own control and people cannot force you to do this so whenever you experience loss so don't blame others but try to understand the real things.

Like that if your friend did not get benefit then he start to blame you but when the situations become better he regret it. So in this case I will say that use your own mind because every individual has its own capacity to use their knowledge and thoughts.

i checked her address on blockchain explorer and There is no any transaction of her address history. This user joined to this forum since 23rd july 2022, and as Jawhead999 said, all her words may be true if she bought some ammount of bitcoin arround November 10, 2022 - Early January, 2023 when the price was low but there is no any data transaction on her address history between that time.

she would get additional 76% of profit if she bought some bitcoin at 11st november 2022. It sounds good to hear but we do not know exactly either when she really bought some bitcoin or did not really buy any bitcoin at all.

Too many people have similar stories. I had a friend who mocked me for buying bitcoin when it went from 20k to 3k in 2018, he said that bitcoin was crashing and it will be zero and that was the doom event for bitcoin.

I ignored him and kept on buying and we have seen how much it increased, I got lucky and sold at a good price to pay some stuff off but I had nothing left so it wasn't really something that made me rich, I live the same exact life as I did before investing and the only difference is that I would have been much worse if I didn't, I would be dirt poor eating ramen all day but thanks to bitcoin I did not and that is my success story as well.

I wonder if he knows how to do that since he doesn't seem to be too experienced with Bitcoin or signing messages and stuff. Also, let him enjoy his time if he really had bought Bitcoins and has them in profit, and even if he is lying, what's the harm in that? It's a discussion board and let him discuss his success and happiness even if it's a made up story which I think it isn't.

To OP, congratulations to you and those friends of yours who followed your advice and bought Bitcoins when it was low. The best thing that you guys did was to buy when it was low. Now if you can stay patient even more, you should keep holding them for higher gains.

The same story with many of the other forum members here. We've tackled like with friends and relatives and said that they should buy bitcoin but they ended up ignoring us.
And those few that have listened to us have been enjoying the ride and made profits along the way. It's not an easy market because it moves a lot so fast and newbies can't bear that type of roller coaster ride. But it's better for them to experience such rides so they will understand why we like bitcoin a lot as an asset and investment because that's how where things are being appreciated when it's got a bumpy road and we all know that it won't be always the same.

First thing is that people tend to believe in what they can see, and Bitcoin is better to explain with evidence and as an investor, your result as in profit returns is what makes the big difference and can help to draw others to you where you can then educate them.

-It's not enough to advise people to invest in Bitcoin, but there is always a need for adequate education which will help them through whenever there is market uncertainty because when there is no proper awareness of the risk and volatility of the market it can lead to frustration and possible losses.

Congratulations on your story, yours isn't the first and won't be the last of this kind of story. When people invest in Bitcoin and become successful they're quick to tell their story because of the excited that's filled with them. They don't do the same when they lose, hey forget both cases can serve as a lesson to people as you can learn from both your losses and wins.
As you have had a successful investment, you should build on this ti have more future stories like this. There's so many profit that can be made in the market, you don't have to limit yourself. Just keep on buying more Bitcoin  as you were doing until you have enough in your wallet. Don't let this small win distract you as you sell to take profits.
There's more profits ahead as we'll be having the biggest event in the cryptocurrency market happening next year which is the bitcoin  halving. There's always lots of profit to be made during this time so keep investing.

Yes you are right.  Because at present many are creating such a story for the purpose of earning merit.  And posting, but how true these stories are always unknown to us. I have noticed several topics that people who do something new with Bitcoin and post their stories here are given merit and that's why many are now taking this opportunity and creating new new fake stories. In this case, the op's story also seems  fake. The current situation indicates that the price of Bitcoin will now gradually increase.  But no one can guarantee it. but this is just an idea. Bitcoin price can be predicted but it requires long time analysis and good understanding of the market.

It is not impossible that the op could use a wallet other than this one to hold his bitcoins. So in this case the op needs a proper replay.  But op is not saying anything even though it is active.  So it will not be wrong to call it a fake story

Congratulations to the OP, just like you before I knew about bitcoin many years ago I also had some ambiguity but really didn't have anyone to whom I could express my concerns. After going to school, I tinkered with it and researched it a lot on my own, and along with the market growth many times, I felt really lucky to have known bitcoin. On the journey of investing with bitcoin, I also met many new friends and entrepreneurs, but actually until now discussing bitcoin investment in the outside world, I still find people quite skeptical and confused. And I like people's skepticism and ambiguity.

Those who bought bitcoin when it was very low are now making huge profits. Hope bitcoin will touch 30$k in few days. I don't know at what price you bought bitcoin, but I think you might be in big profit now because bitcoin price has gone up a lot.

Your friends who told you that the price of Bitcoin will never go up but will go down more. Your friends said these things because they have no idea about Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin has now started to increase.
 The price of Bitcoin is starting to rise more than ever. I have seen many people who talk a lot of negative about Bitcoin who have no idea about Bitcoin. I tell you don't listen to your friends and sell your Bitcoin. If you can hold on to your bitcoins, you will get a lot of profit from here.

Stories like this are just an old phenomenon that keeps getting repeated, as if they have a higher interest in bitcoin than anyone else.
I don't know why people have to make up fictitious stories about bitcoin investments they haven't made.
Most of these stories do not include their wallets or screenshots of transactions made, or if it is related to privacy there are at least some photos that prove that they actually experienced the events described in the story.

Not only stories like the OP's, there is also currently a trend about bitcoin adoption in their own business, but there is no evidence that they are doing actual bitcoin adoption.
All just text and no transactions are executed.

Buying and holding bitcoin will provide more benefits than those who only say that bitcoin will continue to fall and is worthless.

We are not the ones who have the right to trace the assets (OP), but I may friends want any story that is assembled into a better writing if it is true to reality considering quite a lot of stories like the one conveyed by OP but in reality it is just a story to fulfill daily posts.

When I first knew Bitcoin I was not sure that the value of Bitcoin could reach a very extraordinary number like today, but by making my own research without caring what others said I finally ventured to invest in Bitcoin, but the benefits I got at that time were not so great because I only made an experiment, In the following year I had a little savings and I ventured to use those savings to buy Bitcoin, and at that time many of my friends commented negatively about my decision but with great confidence and finally all could be answered with success.

Actually I have no problem with any achievement of stories from forum members about Bitcoin adoption, but more and more we've seen there's always one thread created in this board about Bitcoin adoption in their local country. That's a way to grab easy merit in this forum, you can check on the other threads if you not believing me.

Yeah there's nothing harm about it, but if it's a made up story I believe any merit sources will click ignore on his profile since he doesn't have a good motive.

Honestly until now I have not been successful in the crypto world, because investing in bitcoin has not been able to feel the benefits that are indeed large, but when I started to know bitcoin indeed I did a lot of research and not immediately I invested in bitcoin, but in 2017 I was only able to make a decision and until now I continue to explore the use of bitcoin and can benefit in every project I participate in in addition to investing, And some of my friends are still not sure about investing and I don't care what they think.

First of all congratulations on your success in investing in Bitcoin. You have taken a big risk because people usually don't spend their savings money unnecessarily but you have invested your savings money in Bitcoin. But if you had not taken this risk, you would never have achieved success. You are successful today because you took risks.
Today the social system is such that when you go to do something people will tell you different things and through different words they will try to stop you from doing it. In the first stage you will be criticized a lot, you will see many close people criticizing you, but when you achieve success with the same work, you will see that there is no shortage of people to praise you, those who criticized you will be jealous of you. So never listen to the words of the critics, always keep your mind focused on the work you do, hoping that success will come one day or the other.

Sharing what benefits you, would be a good thing to do but it would be a different story if you are assuming for the same result which pushed you to invite them. Keep in mind how risk is present in this technology. If you, yourself is sometimes having trouble with market patterns and such, how come won't they be as well? Be careful also on inviting your friends. Tendencies are high that once they suffered from loss, it would be you to be blame by other people simply because they'd more be interested with the pros, disregarding the cons. I'd more prefer letting them teach themselves and learn for themselves. I can answer questions but initiative should really start from them.

the market will move up and down, currently the bullish season has not yet come, and when it will come no one knows. if we believe it, then don't pay attention to what people say, even though we try to convince it, I think it's a futile act. therefore take the path which we believe in, if you want to hold or sell some then do it according to your conscience, because of course everyone will have their own thoughts

So, when the Bitcoin market was bearish, you didn't give up hope. You bought some coins with your savings and even convinced some of your friends to join you. That takes guts, my friend.

But, it paid off in the end. The price of Bitcoin went up and you and your friends were able to cash in on that success. I can imagine that it must have been satisfying to prove those naysayers wrong. I mean, there are always going to be people who doubt your decisions. But, if you do your research and have patience, you can make informed choices that lead to success.

Perhaps I have the same opinion as you. Initially, I entered the market alone, and so far, I have had certain achievements, but I still have no intention of inviting or recommending bitcoin to anyone. Admittedly the level of risk in this market is too high, those who have been investing in bitcoin, not everyone is making a profit and many people are losing in the market. So there is no guarantee that the people we invite to invest will be as profitable as we are, and when they lose, they will certainly blame us.

Commenting negatives discussion against Bitcoin is just mere procrastinating because this project will pump during the bull season. I've no interest with what my colleagues will discuss about bitcoin, because I've full confidence in the project and there's going to be a bull call that will shoot Bitcoin to the moon. Patience is another quality that a trader needs in the space inother to gain full profits in the space, but Bitcoin can dip for months, but it will retest back to it's former spot once It's been triggered by whales. Bear season have lengthy duration in the market and Bitcoin was greatly affected during the bear period.

Rather than trapped in a drama, it's better to avoid people who doesn't like about Bitcoin, just shut up and only talk with the open minded people. Not open minded people will trying to defend their opinions and think if they're always correct, that's a toxic society, there's always people who want to support your decision.

It depends on the moment, many people invest at the right time, and half of them at a bad time. I think you are one of the people who invest in bad times. As we know, there is a right time to begin investing and selling. This year is the right time to begin buying and investing your fiat into bitcoin because today is -1 year before halving where usually the price begins to climb back to ATH and then create a new ATH after +1 year halving.

There have been those that did it in the past and got a lot of merits from it, so when newbies and those that just joined the group see that previous thread they tend to also give theirs a shot, some succeeded with their lies while the lies of others were seen right through.
Although,  some were created out of excitement and when you come across such a thread you'll instantly know that indeed this is a genuine story fueled by the excitement of the writer.

Today, it can be said that bitcoin is still not widely accepted, and its future is still controversial, but it is an opportunity if someone knows how to capture and mine it. Opportunities often lie in risk and need to be exploited. Let's say if bitcoin is recognized and popular as gold, then the chance of getting a big reward from bitcoin is gone or won't be an opportunity for us. So when investing in bitcoin, it's best to ignore what others say and just focus on our goals. Over time, I believe bitcoin will become popular and widely accepted, then the chances of making a profit from bitcoin will diminish, and they will regret not seizing it from now on.

If one wants to invest, they must do more in-depth research on that type of investment. Most people invest because of invitations from other people and they don't learn more about the investment, making it difficult for them to benefit from their investment.

But you have done the right thing by investing in bitcoin even though many of your friends criticize you and underestimate the power of bitcoin. Bitcoin price has been falling since 2022 and in December 2022 the price of Bitcoin was stagnant. In January 2023, Bitcoin price hit a low of $15k after the FTX crash. Since then it currently stands at 27k dollars.
People should not be misled by making up such false stories.  Investors who are there have always been investing since the past.
