The world economic challenge is getting worse as the day counts, and I'm still thinking if their were to be no bitcoin how would people cope with all the challenges in this modern world. Bitcoin has really come through for people of this days in different way and in different countries.
In some countries where they have serious unemployment challenges many people have engaged in bitcoin to invest and into other aspects of bitcoin, just imagine if their were no bitcoin how will the common man invest the little he or she has. If there were no bitcoin I know their are investment people can go for but it will be something that the rich and middle class can afford to invest. In bitcoin the rich, poor and middle class can go into it, this is to say bitcoin is for every body.

With the recent challenge in Nigeria where the resigni of their currency has caused scarcity of flow of cash which is really affecting the citizens, I know bitcoin will also make a good contribution in this case because lots of young people in the country are engage to bitcoin.

In different occasions of economic crisis in the world bitcoin has always been there to play a good role. Thanks to bitcoin for it existence in this difficult time of life.

I am one of the many people who are greatly helped by the presence of Bitcoin. Honestly I get extra income through Bitcoin investment and from this forum. I feel grateful because while many people my age in my country are experiencing financial difficulties and are looking for work, I can still make money and meet my daily needs and it's all thanks to Bitcoin.

In developing countries bitcoin is much more needed than in developed countries.  I am from Brazil and I can say that bitcoin made things way easier here  , specially for those who want to send their money abroad (in investment or just traveling)

Not just you OP, not just you, I am nothing without Bitcoin, I have once imagined if there where no Bitcoin, I would have suffered a lot more, I bought Bitcoin twice since 2022, the 17k and the 15k, the profit is what I am using to sustain myself right now, and with the shit going on in my country right now, I would have smell hell, but I thank the most high for leading me to Bitcoin and I also thank the creator of Bitcoin.

This is true, imagine all the challenges we all have to face in economic issues if bitcoin doesn't exist. Let's say not all in the world are knowledgeable about bitcoin and how it can provide your needs such as jobs and life investments. In my country, let's say you earn $100 dollar which equivalent to P5000 which is enough to provide your needs for a week. And some of the campaigns provide a weekly payment for all the members. This is one of the jobs I have think for bitcoin which helps a lot for people who's unemployed. Also investing from bitcoin and doing trading also could be consider as a full time job since you have to look for the possible outcome in the market to gain profits. And those profits is enough for people to earn enough like an employed person.


It's expected that whenever an economic crisis occurs there will always be an impact to the bitcoin. Sometimes it plays a huge role like such making bitcoin pump and often dump. So I must say that bitcoin is a good alternative source of income and assets incase an economic problems happen that would affect the money for example is the inflation which is very common.

Thanks to Satoshi for creating bitcoin because presently,bitcoin is the only hope for its investors especially the poor people. The high rate of inflation would have caused so many bitcoiners to be hopeless assuming they didnt adopt bitcoin. Bitcoin has made individuals to be self employed in terms of trading and mining. In my country the rate of poverty is alarming due to hardship caused by recession. CBN has failed to circulate cash in the country which is adding value to more hardship in the country.

With the ugly situation the fiat currency is passing through and banks collapsing,assuming there is no asset like Bitcoin where will those customers who have lost trust in their banks safe their money. Bitcoin has bridge the gap a little between small investors and big investors. Although the rich gets higher profit but it is equivalent to the risk they take. Regardless of its massive advantage to humanity I don’t buy the idea of people having to invest all their little earnings in it just to gain profit. Yes, totally agree, we all must be grateful to the inventors and developers of Bitcoin. Bitcoin can indeed help increase someone's finances, but if someone is able to use it properly.
It's true that Bitcoin can actually be reached by everyone and some people have also been helped financially because of Bitcoin, but that only applies if we understand and do it the right way whether it's from investing or trading Bitcoin.
Keep in mind that Bitcoin was created as an alternative to fiat currency in digital form but not a get-rich-quick way. Bitcoin was not created for the only way to solve the whole problem of economic crises, failure of government systems, poverty, unemployment or all the problems that we face in this modern world.

That is so true, I don't know what investments I'll be in if it's not for bitcoin. Well, if it were not for bitcoin I won't be forced to know more about different markets, assets, and investments and that's why it's like it has empowered and pushed me to know more about these things.
At the same time, on this market, I cannot deny that it has helped me a lot and made me sort of remove that worry about obligations such as bills. Bitcoin contribution to my financial independence can not be quantified, it helps me and most people that comes from countries blacklisted by PayPal and it's like to be a part of a global payment system that works.

We don't need to ignorantly write about Bitcoin because Bitcoin is not going to replace your job rather it's just a means of investment for those that are ready to invest and wait for the market to grow bullishly so they can sell there holdings and make good profits from the market. The problem many persons are having is the fund for them to invest in the market now that everything is still bearish. I think everyone here will agree on that because indeed the existence of bitcoin has helped a lot of people and one of them is me. developing and even lagging behind bitcoin has become an option that is indeed profitable, although in some cases the government still hasn't opened up good regulations but as long as there is no ban there that is a good thing because we as citizens who follow the policy can still be in bitcoin.

I feel the same condition even though we are from different countries. I am in Indonesia and the current conditions in Indonesia, although not too severe in terms of conditions, are still currently very difficult to face life's challenges which are getting harder and harder.

You are right my mean partially right that Bitcoin is a revolution as you can see that banks have failed and almost 300 to 400 billions of dollars worth of tokens have been lost of these users but I have heard that Joe Biden sid that they will pay every penny to these users and in this regard they will print new money that could be a disaster for the USA economy and also A whole world because of Inflation. I have invested and profited from bitcoin and likewise many people on this forum. Also, as a citizen of Nigeria and I know how hard to make ends meet, leaving mainly on your salary is very hard with the hard economy.

Blockchain technology offers many advantages, it also poses challenges and limitations that need to be addressed as technology develops but for BTC to me it is very special like people's money.

Before bitcoin existed you had the option to invest in gold, however gold does not move with the same kind of speed that we can see on bitcoin, so you could spend decades holding your gold and not much will change and you may even loss some money in the process, however bitcoin and its high volatility can allow traders to make way more money than what they could make with gold or stocks, however we must also recognize that those are results that only a minority of traders can actually achieve.

There are other investments that people could really go into, but there is no investment one can go into without going through a third party, without having some paper work done, without having to leave their house to go out to the office or company they want to invest in, and without having to pass through a little stress. But the truth is that Bitcoin gives investors the avenue to enjoy freedom while they do their investment while sitting at a place. No paper work needs to be done, no third party needs to be involved, and it's not too complex that people cannot easily understand. I agree with your topic OP, and I say thanks to Bitcoin too. Real estate requires a certain amount before you can invest; even some companies require a huge amount before you can invest with them, but Bitcoin gives people the space to invest just any little amount they like to.

As someone who has been in cryptocurrencies since 2014 and have used Bitcoin both as a currency and as an asset I can confirm that it has been a great alternative investment.  So far, it has enabled me to live a lot more comfortably due to the significant side income I'm receiving through the forum, while at the same time, it's a great hobby to keep you busy. I regret not being active throughout all these years; I had two large inactivity periods.

I can only imagine the situation there in Nigeria, people have hard time maintaining their life with their daily jobs. So bitcoin obviously is a blessing for people in Nigeria. I have seen so many Nigerian posting about their progress with bitcoin and cryptocurrency and many are successfully living their life thanks to bitcoin. In short it opens a lot of opportunities for people who doesn't much money have an investment. If you look back when bitcoin wasn't a thing, the only option for regular people to participate into economic growth is through banks and other institutions, and guess what? You are right. Bitcoin has been a game changer for many. It's accessible to everyone, regardless of their economic status. People can invest, earn passive income, and even find jobs in the crypto space. Plus, it also makes sending money from one point to another point cheap, easy and super fast. People from countries that has weak currency value and is suffering from inflation can invest in bitcoin  to battle against the inflation. But yeah, people should keep in mind about the risks involved with investing in bitcoin or other crypto currencies. I would say it is practically the same. I agree, btc can potentially change your life only if you have the means to buy and invest, so in a way people still needs to find a way to make money to buy btc especially for those who don't have the skills and understanding to be paid in btc.

I am an employee and at the same time a crypto investor, crypto has been and still helping me financially. It has been my way to earn more and have a little savings, so if it didn't exist I think I would be just an employee like most of the people I know.

Price will be a problem in developing countries to take a bitcoin investment approach, although certain DCA and technical patterns can be done, but as you mentioned generally and I think not everyone can touch bitcoin. But in the case of economic downturns and inflation I agree bitcoin can play a much bigger role compared to fiat currency, because of the many evidences we have seen how bitcoin is able to survive in those conditions.

You guys might be missing the point. Not because this technology is giving profit to SOME people in this industry, investors to be more specific, it would already mean that it contributes to the economy. How would it contribute if transactions are not taxed? Don't get me wrong; Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are really profitable but that is far different from helping an economy or even solving economic related issues.  Also, when it comes on putting your money in banks, how come it wouldn'y be yours? Because transactions are monitored and taxed? That is simply because of the insurance you are paying towarda them; that if something bad happens, they'll have something to do to help you. Unlike in this industry that if you happened to lose your assets, no one would be there to help you out. Let us not be too biased and delusional because of how this technology benefits us.

i don't think that's true for all. i believe, it is still a small percentage that do go to bitcoin market. as their trust to traditional banks are waning, some of them are going into tangible assets not in crypto. if you don't know what you're doing, you can easily go bankrupt with crypto. so nope, in my opinion, only few of them are going into btc or crypto. but a lot may be enticed with btc market, but only few of them will eventually invest in crypto.

As for me, I'm thankful that I didn't experience that kind of thing (or at least I can say that I'm one of the lucky ones who had still an income source at that time). Bitcoin helped me a lot at that time. The Bitcoins that I'm getting from my signature campaign is the reason why I'm lucky during that time because I used my Bitcoin savings to have some money to buy things that we need. I even helped other people thru Bitcoin at that time (converted some of it and donated).

I guess there are both good side and bad sides to everything but I would say the creation of bitcoin is more beneficial to humans now especially in a period where the inflation rate in almost the country is high and people are getting traped by saving money in fiat currency, although my coming to the cryptocurrency scene was a bit late but I have no regret now because I know I have benefited a lot from this wonderful iniative.

Nothing is perfect, but when comparing bitcoin to fiat, bitcoin is far superior. Bitcoins is an important project in the space because it's been in existence over the past decades. I'm grateful to getting full knowledge on time on what bitcoin operation and the space is all about. Bitcoin aides me in setting up my house with gigantic profits pulled from the solid project. This is true, like my country, we have enough graduates that are yet to get employed by the government, but Bitcoin had actually come has an alternative to bring solutions to all what government cannot do.

There's no way for the country not to experience inflation since the central bank is printing at least 500 Billion fiat currency every year.

I agree with your opinion that Bitcoin can provide a better alternative solution to increase our finances which the government in a country may not necessarily be able to do.
but I disagree when you say that there are many graduates who have not been employed by the government. because I don't think we have to completely depend on the government if we want to get a job.
it is true that the government should also think about and guarantee the availability of jobs for all its citizens, but getting a job is the responsibility of each individual.
if there are not many jobs provided by the government then we must keep trying to be creative to work in private companies or maybe we can build a business so that we can create new jobs that will help others.

Some times I stop to reflect on what life could have been like for most of us if not for bitcoin, the physical world experience have been filled with ugly stories and getting a good paying job that can pay your bills are not available and even if there are you will be underpaid so I don't believe in 8 to 6 work any more mostly in this country.

Bitcoin does provide enormous benefits for its users. so many people use bitcoin to get out of their economic problems, and really get that solution. in fact, not a few of them became rich. However, I have benefited a lot from this technology, and it can really be felt during Covid 19. If there is no Bitcoin, investing is still possible but no doubt that investing in Bitcoin is much better than the others as it allows us to earn quickly and give us a chance to transform a small money into a really huge one. It's hard to invest if you are unemployed. How will you add more coins if you don't have other sources of income? So, we should not say that Bitcoin investing is a solution to unemployment but because of Bitcoin, there are now added careers popping out mostly online.

Many unemployed who are now working in Bitcoin related jobs are so thankful about Bitcoin. Other than this, it's also a great alternative to a local currency most especially if they are experiencing an issue like what happened there to Nigeria.

When I bought Bitcoin the very first BTC was around 800 ish, I invested $100 of which I had 0 left due to exit scams, poor choices and the blatant lack of knowledge a year later.

A person close to me is guided and still needs about 6 month to a year to feel comfortable.

Yes, bitcon is really needed for countries whose economy is difficult, however, I personally live in a developing country which is quite difficult, especially if there are many economic problems that hit and the currency continues to weaken due to inflation, after that access is quite difficult if you want to make transfers or transactions with foreign parties and have complicated bureaucracy and take quite a long time for my money to reach the recipient.
Since the existence of bitcoin I can easily make transactions with my friends abroad and what's great is that I don't have to pay huge transfer fees.
I think the OP is a nigerian lucky to know bitcoin.
