Is there any lists of reputable escrow companies in china or Miner hosting sites that is not outdated? If not, can people post some names of ones that they have used lately, please?

I'm trying to find a BTC escrow company. I'm buying a domain name from someone I don't know. He sounds legit, but who knows.

You'd think after over 10 years BTC would have solved the escrow problem.

Here's what I've found so far. Some of them seem dubious, not user friendly, or abandoned. Use at your own risk.

A lot of other online discussions say "use fiat".

Dubious and abandoned defeats the purpose of using an escrow, no? what's the use of a "middle man" if they're just more or less as unknown as the person you're transacting with. Reputation of solely from long time ago would send me doubts as well specially since I encountered a case where a scammer took over a closed escrow service's expired domain.

I don't know the reason for insisting that it is from China, but I suggest you look at Zenland (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3483881), a relatively new escrow service, which has active representatives on the forum. I used them in the testing phase, then they looked ok with a fairly friendly and understandable interface.

@miner0069, China has dozens of companies engaged in escrow and hosting out there on the internet/google, maybe you should be careful using their company's services, no one guarantees you against scam escrow and hosting sites.

Contact @SFR10 and @Dabs, for ASIA region and ask them, if they are available for China region, they can be recommended.

You can't find any existing miner hosting in China anymore since they totally banned it.
As for the escrows feel free to check every bitcointalk link posted above, make sure to PM the user first if they are using a third party messaging platform.
