Title: Which exchanges are the quickest to validate ID/accounts - UK Resident
Post by: Robsee on March 29, 2023, 08:21:02 PM
Good day,

I am looking to buy Bitcoin for GBP quickly at a reasonable rate. I have a verified Binance account but as you may know new users can not now deposit or withdraw in GBPs. P2P in Binance does not qualify.

What trustworthy exchanges are quick at validating ID, not one that requires an IOS or Android app.

Thank you in advance.

How long it would take would be a case by case basis, some would just take several minutes, some would be days, etc.

If you wanna trade ASAP, try with no-kyc p2p exchanges, see: https://kycnot.me/?cash=on. (best choice: bisq; beginner friendly: agoradesk/hodlhodl)

For p2p, I also suggest reading hodlhodl's security guide as it applies in most cases, see: https://medium.com/hodl-hodl/trading-security-guide-2f35c20e58f4

You should probably move this post to the Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Discussion > Exchanges  discussion:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=223.0

With that being said how much BTC / funds in general are you talking about?

There are some places that will allow you to move funds in and out quickly BUT have lower limits.
If you want to buy a full BTC but the exchange only allows smaller withdrawals say $1000 a day for the first couple of weeks for new users are you better off with a longer validation process with larger amounts?

NOT VOUCHING FOR THEM, but I have had only good dealings with Coinex: https://support.coinex.com/hc/en-us/articles/900004670183

My answer can be general but let's go with general fact.

Service support for users will be quick or slow depends on their human resources as well as technical resources they have to handle customer request from KYC verification, withdrawal to support ticket. Generally speaking, everything takes time but if you have good resources, you will handle it faster than if you have limited resources and are temporarily overloaded.

So let's consider Tier-1 exchanges and see what exchange can serve you best.

Kucoin exchange is non-KYC and fortunately they support EUR and GBP (https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-kucoin-will-support-the-fiat-deposit-and-spot-trading-pairs-for-eur-gbp) trading pairs.
