Post by: cafter on March 30, 2023, 05:01:14 PM

this is kind of affiliate marketing,

Paid to click (PTC) will draw online traffic from people aiming to earn money from home. This does not mean that they will be familiar with digital currencies and blockchain applications. Traffic should be more specific.
As for earn from referral links, It all depends on the content you provide on your website or blog where you will persuade visitors to click on the link. There are many free online tutorials and YouTube videos that explain how a successful referral program works.
In general, referral programs in the crypto field are not very profitable due to the limited number of users in this field. If you are a beginner, I advise you to focus on an easier niche.

Most of the crypto referral programs are just all scams, with their higher promising reward for each referral.. all that I have joined all ended up scams, and they bring up one excuse after another not to reward users. Sometimes we just wake up and notice the sites are no more. Some will end up telling you to make a first deposit to their platform to prove that you are human and not a robot or a scammer, or whatever they will twist the story to look like.
I have actually not received any reasonable referral reward from any crypto platform, so I gave up before I became the victim of another time-wasting scam.

The worst part is when you invited like three people, the site would eventually tells you to do some tasks in order to receive the prizes. Once you done it it will just continue to on giving tasks until you haven't notice you've done a lot and still not getting the money. Sometimes referrals will give you money for each invited but its not a full money its like 1/4 of the mentioned prizes. For you to get it in whole you'll have to follow it. Influencers mostly benefits from this since a lot of follower would try to earn from their idols. When the site like rugpulled they will just alibi that they are paid to advertise it.

One of the reasons on why i havent touched up referral/affiliate marketing no matter what industry it would be connected out because its never been simply on hooking up people to register under your link.
Yes, we could really be having those typical ways or methods when it comes on marketing or spreading up your link from those blogs, ptc's or whatsoever method but of course you shouldn't really make
yourself about being that optimistic when it comes to results which could be positive or negative. This is why if you are really that serious on referral hunting or promoting then
you would just simply stick into those ways and continue on what you are doing.

I'm also not too sure whether I can get a lot of profit just from referrals. In the past, I often tried programs such as referrals, watching ads, free mining with time limits, but ended up wasting time because no one paid. I think a crypto program that's literally free that's worth it is an airdrop, I've gotten it.

Are you trying PTC? I heard that in 2017 and I tried it before,  earning 20$ there in ptc it must have damaged some of your mouse and probably the other letters on your keyboard are not complete hehehe... That's a waste of time for me according to my experienced there.

Now the referral scheme is okay if you have a lot of friends or followers. In short, this is an advantage if you have a lot of followers on any social media platforms you can earn a lot in my opinion.

Sometimes the terms and conditions guiding these referral benefits are not explicit. These firms will keep giving you more conditions before you might be paid. They might say you should refer three people but after that, you will be told that until they make deposits you will not get your referral bonus. Getting people to register was very challenging and convincing them to make a deposit was not easy so I gave up the task of bringing people. I have heard about people making a few bucks from referrals, maybe they met the right people and crypto firm at the right time. But you need a large followership on social media for you to make money from social media adverts.

Right, bro? sound up! Selling terrible PTC advertisements on a dubious site won't attract anyone. Smarten up! Create a blog, hilarious videos, or anything it takes to entice people to join these sites. Did you know "crypto wizards" make a lot of money sending people? You can join crypto unicorns. Just hustle and succeed! One morning, your leads will skyrocket. Don't quit! Before you can say "jackpot," you'll be swimming in delicious referral gifts. Ka-ching!

As for ideas in terms of looking for more referrals, I personally don't like this because I'm the type of person who doesn't want to involve a lot of people in things they don't necessarily like. But some people who like this kind of thing always use the method by displaying a very attractive appearance in front of everyone and showing a little asset to everyone who wants to be made their referral so that more people are interested in following in his footsteps through it.

Lol very funny, then you have a poor brand of keyboard and mouse it seems, I am into PTC years back too and my keyboard still works today, it's a very old Dell Keyboard, clicking on links won't spoil your keyboard and mouse unless you have a fake or bad brand.

I have lost the exact amount I earned through PTC platforms, I used more than three PTC websites and I've cashed out from all three more than once.

the matter is very complex, but in fact, it is simple. it all depends on when you join an affiliate program and what your referrals are like, whether they are active or not.
For example, very early on I only had a couple of referrals on the cex.io platform and I converted all the profit from that into Dogecoin. at some point, I had about 95k Doge from it. I leave it to you to think at what moment I sold them.  ;)

the worst way to do it is because PTC programs are only for building website traffic, they are often served by bots that are completely useless for affiliates. No leads from there.

blog, email, social media etc.. are probably the best channels for promotions. you can also use some platforms like Medium, Steemit, Quora and similar. also, keep in mind that you must not advertise in related categories. Some platforms do not allow leaving referral links, like this forum.
You will not offer Binance referral links to cooking and recipe pages. today it is very difficult to reach a new Binance user who will be active, certainly not on a PTC site.

There's a probability that these paid-to-click clickers already have accounts on these platforms and their primary aim is to earn from clicks not signing up to any platforms, if you want to get referrals, video blogging, and blogging are the key, and those you are that you are going to refer are those who are really looking for a good exchange mostly newbies.
if you can come out with a good Video and article that will explain the benefits of signing up for platforms that you are promoting then referrals and leads will come naturally.

I have one crypto niche blog where I mostly promoted my Binance referral link and I was able to get 25-30 referrals if I can remember correctly. But it was my bad luck that most of them turned out not to be active. I have got a referral bonus from 2 accounts only. The amount is 0.004 BTC which I think is great. Once again, both got inactive these days. It's pretty hard to get referrals from the blog these days, especially when you are promoting exchanges like Binance. Everyone in the crypto space knows the name.
However, I think it's better to promote through google ads which pay off though I haven't tried. Also. promoting an exchange that has the potential to reach at the top is a far better idea I think.

you know binance is for rich people because it have liquidity and big name in cryptoverse,
so you can consider rich peoples , like small business owner, or people who have money that can earn you good commission,
for that you can start other niche which mostly targeted towards rich peoples , niches like : finance, how to save tax, entrepreneurship, business education, etc.

Do you think someone with a background in cryptocurrency will click on crypto referral links from ads or Paid to click (PTC)? Brain assumes that it is a fraud, so it avoids it, and many of these links use tools that exploit the resources of your device in mining.
In short, to attract a person to click on crypto referral links, which is either to be influential, to help him solve a problem, or to give him advice, and then he will click on those links of his own free will.

Very few people will search for those niches as they can easily talk to someone they knew who already is into it. Somehow I was convinced to sign up for a referral link upon reading a detailed trading strategy to make money. I think this is very timely because people today are trying to find ways to make money.

It worked on me, I guess it should also work for some. How-tos or articles that is providing procedures on how to do things made me sign up.  ;D
The only hinder to this is finding people that will read your article which I guess you still need to market/promote the article.

I haven't gone that inside. Never had any research on these too. I love writing articles on cryptocurrency guidelines, exchange reviews, sharing tips, etc and that's why I started my blog. Though I'm not earning any good amount, I still love writing. Recently, have joined another platform as a writer, almost a volunteer writer. They are crypto niche too.
I have promoted exchanges in my blog. That's it.

A lot of people do and that can be by mistake. Most of the time, there were google ads on Binance by those referral hunters. So, when you search with Binance, you will see Binance.com but that's a referral link inside. I'm pretty sure that's how Binance top referral earning is ~10 BTC per day. Well, these are some whale + early BInance adopters.

To be honest, I've earned nothing from referrals because of the fact that I'm not really good at making referrals, it just isn't my thing, and no matter how hard I try, I could never gain an active referral in my entire life. It doesn't mean that I don't like referral earnings, but it is just that it's a difficult feat to achieve, and not everyone can really do that.

Also, using PTC sites to gain referrals isn't really a great idea because honestly, the users who watch ads from those PTC sites never really click anything or create accounts, so it basically doesn't work, and you can get referrals only if you buy paid ads or ask people to sign up manually.

I don't remember how much was generated in the past by making a referral program specifically created on a personal blog because at that time there were still many audiences who did and clicked on my referrals in their ads and some were active but after I checked now all are no longer active and indeed in the past with easier reference what I experienced at that time.

Referral programs can be very lucrative if you have a large audience. And what's important is that the audience should be likely to use the service.
But for now it's more difficult because on average they already know about the referral commission that will be generated, meanwhile if we promote through the blog again the results will not be satisfactory because the audience already knows about this strategy.

I earned significant money from my referrals, but it was long time ago. Most of it come from faucets - I promoted referral links of faucets, refferals clicked it, entered BTC address, solved captcha and took some Satoshis. Everything was simple, I got all this dust to microwallet like Faucetbox or Faucethub. Promoting these reflinks required some efforts. I had to make website on Wordrpress, somehow get traffic to website, I had to work with things like SEO or spend some for banner advertisement.
Now times is different. I suggest to forget PTC. People there aren't interested in content of ads. Only their aim is watching ad to get something like $0.002 and then move to next ad. Better invest this money into banner advertising and CPM campaigns. A-ADS is good network for beginners. Offcourse, it's not easy to make proper campaign which will bring you good results from first attempt. But still, better than PTC.
Another option is making your own website for affiliate marketing.

I earned a lot, not so sure the amount is but is over thousands of dollars. Well, to be honest i used to promote cloud mining before lol same as faucets, when bitcoin is like so little in price, thats what i've been doing before i've got introduced here.
But yeah, despite of the price i earned so much, well, im not so serious of promoting it, because what i just did, is promote my referral on bitcoin adnetwork paying from what i've earned in faucets, i forgot whats the name of the adnetwork. But yeah, advertising my referral link help so much promoting it and making lots of referrals.
Well, today, i guess its not worth it anymore with so many issues in crypto space even if you have blogs and youtube channels.

I used to involve in PTC sometime back but evener since i came in crypto, i have left these low paying work. Also i have accounts at exchanges but never tried to engage myself to earn the referrals. The reason is that referral are not something through which everyone can earn money. It is only for the influencers who have a lot of following and only those can take advantage of this free earning method.

In order for you to gain referrals, you need to show your presence on social media. For example, if you are a trader, you may start your facebook page giving free signals. If the signals and information you provide is good, people will follow you. Once you are popular, you may give them your referral link and many followers will join you.
And for sure, this process will take time until you have your own small community.

I have picked up a few referrals on a gambling site(11 on 1 and 11-12 on another). 1 site I have earned over 10k in a couple years and the other a few hundred. Don't recall doing anything special, just shared a few betslips here and there and some people actually signed up and started playing. The big thing for me as far as affiliate is, is how you earn money. If I have to convince people I know to deposit and then I make money from them losing I won't do it. If I make money from their wagered amount, I'm all for it.

Unfortunately, no matter how good the efforts of someone who isn't an influencer and marketer in general can only take up no more than 5% of the internet user market. I have no more ideas to beat them, indeed banners on personal sites, links in social media bios, url shorteners, and create content on videoshorts platforms.

I've done this with faucets before but only to my relatives, IIRC that's when the price of bitcoin was under $1k and I didn't get a lot from it but that's fun. I'm thinking that only those good writers with a lot of audiences with their articles and as well as social media influencers are the ones that can have an advantage with affiliate marketing. But if you're someone who's new to it and thinking that it will generate you passive income, you'll be needing a lot of work from this. On my experience, it was fun because I get to educate some of my relatives about bitcoin during that time but no one pursued it until now.

So huge efforts you need to give before you can earn decently on referrals and somehow you also need to do white lies so that you can convince people to sign up on your link. If you think you can do this since you have plenty of time then maybe give it a try and experience the difficulty to earn money on referrals.

I made few bucks for doing this before but decide to stop immediately because I find it a waste of time and efforts.

PTC or paid-to-click is only good to increase traffic and the only people that you can refer using PTC are also those active on PTC they don't care about the offers in the ads they clicked all they want is to increase their earnings, if you want to refer people in any platform or project you are promoting it should be targeted and it should be in a place that people are looking for the kind of project you are promoting, like if you're promoting a casino then you have to target gambling forums or gambling groups.
You also need to establish your reputation as someone who's been there and an authority on a subject, so if you're promoting a trading site you have to be a successful trader too, so they can look up to you as someone worthy to listen to.

I did not previously get a good referral commission on most exchange platforms, on which I created an account and sent it to my friends. The referral commission is good if you are a public and famous figure or influencer or you have accounts, groups, or others on social media that contain thousands and millions of followers; for the average person who is not famous, It is useless and not profitable at all, and indeed you mentioned very famous exchanges in this field, so you will exhaust yourself in promoting your referral link and find that most people have already registered accounts, you can deal with less well-known platforms, but there is a high probability that these platforms are scam and they don't pay you in the end, you and the people you referred. Forget it

Getting active referrals is not a joke, affiliate and referral earnings are for those who have high level marketing and promotional skills which they can use to sell a link of any service or website that they use to others and make them sign up and use them. Such people can easily earn a fortune with affiliate and referral links but not everyone can be up to their level.

Other people who can greatly benefit from referral and affiliate earnings are influencers who has a lot of followers who actually listen to them and follow what they say. They can easily rack up a lot of referrals for any service they promote.

When I was active in PTC I get a lot of referrals by showing my payment proof but I have not earned from sites like those mentioned like Nexo Binance I also promote these sites because almost everybody has accounts on these platforms, the easiest platform to promote are those platform where they can also earn like Faucet, PTC, and surveys, you mention PTC as a site to promote but unfortunately, you cannot get referrals here because these people only sign up for PTC.
If you want targeted referrals you need to find people and groups that are relevant to the platform you're promoting, and you need to be good at explaining what the platforms that you're promoting are all about and why they should sign up.

Currently, affiliate marketing is highly prevalent in the gambling industry, whereas in the past, it was more common in Ponzi schemes. Personally, I am not associated with either gambling or any referral systems, as it has become increasingly difficult to succeed in this field due to the growing number of individuals who create their own referral links. Nevertheless, it is still possible to earn referrals by inviting friends and promoting your referral links.

Means refering from crypto related site like nexo, binance, etc.
this is kind of affiliate marketing,
I had tried by running ptc ads on PTC site (no google adsense or facebook ads) I didn't got results(which is obvious why someone invest in nexo if he is trying to earn through PTC sites)
how you refer what do you do to convince anyone to make account on sites. like you have blog, website, etc.
i heard on this forum, some people said i had over 100 referral. i also want that much referral, can you suggest some ideas?

I used to be very diligent in promoting my referral link, I was diligent in writing blogs and even got 12 accounts on Binance that used my referral link. Unfortunately, only 3 accounts that I noticed were still actively trading on binance and the referral reward that I got every week was quite small lol. the reward from the referral link is actually very good, especially if you are lucky to get an active member.

This is included in the category of promotional programs. Sharing referrals on a program will not work optimally in the end result.

People will assume that it is a scam if they click on the link. We admit that in the past there were people who earned large amounts of crypto for doing referral programs from one or many crypto casinos.
But for now I can say that the program is no longer effective. For example, on one of the exchanges, if we manage to get 10 new registrants from the referral program that we share, then we will get 0.003 BTC. I believe it won't be anytime soon. That's an example.

I've given up on spreading affiliate links because it's not getting great results.
Maybe you could create a blog filled with trending information and provide your affiliate link below that information.
Or you can make a video about what you want to inform people about.
There are many ways to get lots of people but we have to really work hard and not stop before we can reach what we want.
But you should realize that other people are doing the same as you because they want to make money from the affiliation.

You don't know how blog works? Adding trending information won't able to make traffic. Promoting affiliate links needs some knowledge posting it here or there without SEO knowledge won't make any single referral.
So if you create content in your blog make sure you have SEO skill and the content must be optimized with a target keyword with low competitors. Also, Google won't index it without adding it into your webmaster tool.
Google is a great source of traffic but it takes time before you can gain huge traffic and earn from referral.

Launch a blog, whip up some side-splitting vids, do whatever it takes to stoke people's enthusiasm for joining those platforms.
slapper, this  first part of your post has a few good tips. After that your post is pretty dramatic and unrealistic.

And hey, did you hear about those crypto wizards raking in thousands of bitcoin through referrals? Sure, they're like crypto land's narwhals, but that doesn't mean you can't join the ranks. Just hustle like a madman and grind away, and boom! You'll wake up one day with your referral count blasting through the stratosphere!

No one in the recent years has or ever will earn thousands of bitcoins through referral programs. You also will never wake up to an instant, lucrative downline. It will only grow over time if you are succeeding in the work that you are putting in.

So, hang in there! Keep forging ahead, stay riotously imaginative, and before you can say "jackpot," you'll be swimming in an ocean of delectable referral bonuses! Ka-ching!

Not true. It takes months, even years to build a lucrative down-line. Not to mention that you are relying on platforms to stay legitimate if you aren't promoting a decentralized project with a safe affiliate program, meaning that unless the latter is true then you are subject to losing your hard work at any time.

I would be surprised that people still use PTC websites. If some are still around, I would assume they would be very heavily botted, meaning very low quality/low value traffic with minimal results (if any).

It is one of the methods that is still used in other sectors effectively, this depends mainly on the niche to estimate the effort and results.  As for the niche of crypto and blockchain, I do not expect the method to be very profitable, as you indicated.  This is a new sector and it does not have a large number of users compared to the rest of the sectors, and the platforms that provide these services are barely mentioned.

Myself started in crypto with sort of referral program, Stellar (now xlm) airdrop back in 2013/14 required fb account to claim airdrop, I'd ask for fb account details from people and would give mobile recharge in return.

Sold those 100k's of stellars for peanuts, in case someone was wondering.

Basically, If you give something in return, people will be more inclined to join under you.

Nowadays, referral programs have gone strict, they reward over consistency of referred person.

Referral marketing won't work for most of the people and I am not an exception to that, probably made few bucks from casino referral without my knowledge but one who has high influential skill can make more profit so it will work for celeb or someone who has fanbase and will blindly follow what you say like how Andrew became millionaire but he consider himself as triollionare already. ;D

You are absolutely right that people basically will only take interest in something you are advertising if they find any benefit it beholds for them too, and that will be the reason why they might agree to sign up under you. No matter how hard you try, if a person doesn't find a service or a platform giving anything to them for signing up or spending any money, they will never do it.

I've seen a lot of people who use this trick to increase their referrals, they ask them to sign up and deposit a certain amount of money and promise them to give them money once they do so, and people do it for the money of course.

Getting 0.1 BTC only from referrals is good money and you may call it free money. I would call it inspiring for me and others who aren't able to earn anything from referrals. How long did it take to get this referral bonus from Stake and approximately how many referrals do you have?

Actually, if you want to earn from referrals you need to work for it. Post for referral links in relevant social media groups, chat with your referrals, and make sure they are active so that your referral income never stops.

I do post my referral link in my Facebook groups that have over 2k members in it and I always actively chat with them even sharing any good promo from stake with them.
more importantly, I always share the drops/weekly/monthly link that I got from stake telegram to my referral.

That's a huge amount of 0.1 BTC with a current value of $2700 or even more if the bitcoin price continues to rise, that's more than enough for what you get from your referrals.

nowadays I saw many people in my crypto group doing this for a new airdrop and I saw they are received around 500~2k$ from airdrop referrals
No wonder I also often see how someone shares screenshots where they have succeeded in getting a commission from the referrals made and it is a large amount because he himself is the owner of a crypto community with an active group, so it is quite reasonable but of course with good effort.

Yes, that is how you can earn from referral income that you are fully committed to getting engaged with your referrals. Those who are willing to earn from referrals they need to work hard for it and not everyone can do it. Getting refferals and then getting income from them is an art in itself.  :)

Yes, if you have a lot of followers, you can get good referrals for the airdrops and this may help you to get a lot of free money. These days influencers are making good money with airdrop referrals.

Referral airdrop don't pay as much as using the platform itself, it was back in 2017 that referrals was very in demand for airdrops and I remember making between $500-$1k from my referrals and back then that amount was like the world to me. I have also made some money from referrals for investing in projects through ICO as I did some promotion from my bounty managerial service and use my referral code which some investors came in with my referral link and I was compensated although it wasn't that much as I expected it to be but it's understandable since ICO are going out of demand for investors.

i heard on this forum, some people said i had over 100 referral. i also want that much referral, can you suggest some ideas?

From my experience, here's what worked out for me, I created a service then grew that service to what it is today and then whenever there's a referral programs on any of the project I'm advertising I take advantage of that and bring some referral commission for myself. Creating a service is very easy to achieve so I'll suggest that to you. It must not be a bounty service as there are numerous service that can be created on the forum and when you have the audiences, you can use that to your advantage but make sure you don't deceive your audience into scams and profiting from their loses.

If you want to have that much referral, you should first of all build your social media accounts and have enough followers who believe in anything you post on your account.
What i mean is have an influencer or semi-influencer social media account, if your followers trust you, they will click on your referral link and even open an account provided you are willing to tutor them on what to do.
Most of the crypto threader on twitter can easily get 100 referrals for any link they drop because of the numbers of followers and the helpful content they create for their followers.

really? i saw from my group from people who have a telegram channel to update a new airdrop and they shared that they got around that from all legit airdrops they share.
they even share an airdrop that we don't need to do a referral program and got 50~250$ from 1 airdrop.
