Do anyone else not own Bitcoin but like to discuss about Bitcoin like me?
Every day, I still read news about Bitcoin and check its price, but currently, I don't own any Bitcoin. Lol.

I'd say you're spreading FUD rather than discuss about Bitcoin because you're self claimed to have technical analysis but you're wrong about it, we're see Bitcoin price hit $30K now and it's never return to $22K until now.

Talking about there's a currency is better, faster and cheaper than Bitcoin is just your random thought.

Better in terms of what?
Bitcoin is cheap and fast, you only need to spend 6 sat/byte now (https://mempool.space/) and your transaction will be confirmed ASAP.

Bitcoin is available for buyers to buy from sellers at anytime of the day, week, month or year. The supply is limited but it is available to buy and its price and value will increase as the demand is increasing.

Why? Because you thought the price will decrease? Or because you thought bitcoin is not what bitcoin enthusiasts said it is? I hope you will not miss the next bull run.

If they're are people like you here in the forum I doubt that they'll be very active in bitcoin discussion board, their main board would be the altcoin discussion board,  politics&society, and off-topic boards.


What's stopping you from purchasing Bitcoin? Why do you bother to check the price of bitcoin when you don't have any? it seems like you just like wasting your time.
You just have to spend few minutes on an exchange (Dex or Cex) before you become an Bitcoin holder.

You can never have a deep experience about bitcoin if you don't own some fraction of bitcoin, is like preaching about bitcoin to people without you being a partaker of it, so it makes no sense of you doing that because i believe most people who discussed here are bitcoiners. They are really looking for the best guideline and discussion about the latest happening around the cryptocurrency at large, and you know what that means, you would be eager to go deeper in discussion if you own a bitcoin. For instance what would be your advised to people who are facing difficulty in the industry?

He could buy small amounts of tens of dollars and do DCA, or he could get more involved in the forum and earn bitcoin from signature campaigns, so if he doesn't have bitcoin it's because he doesn't want to.


I imagine that until recently you did have some bitcoin that you spent, didn't you, or are you just bullshitting us?

I personally know of some people who talk about Bitcoin but don't have Bitcoin. A few friends also want to talk about how Bitcoin works but don't have Bitcoin. But they're probably just in the phase of learning, of getting to know Bitcoin. They're just doing it slow. They're busy with what they do so they are not in hurry to do their first purchase. I don't think it is unusual for some people who don't have Bitcoin to discuss about Bitcoin.

It is also possible that you used to have Bitcoin and sold them already but you're still interested about Bitcoin and even have plans to buy back one of these days.

And what do you like to discuss with it, I'm not sure you really understand it but holding BTC or not having BTC is sometimes not a matter of discussion. However, if you have the opportunity, I think you should buy them because as someone who understands the market better than many others do not know and understand it, you have a better chance of information than everyone else, so don't waste it. I just want to tell you that don't miss the opportunity to buy BTC at a good price, at some point I think the accumulation of assets is large enough and the selection of different investment portfolios, I am sure BTC in this market always offers the best opportunities.

Sometimes i wonders what they tends to share with those who already had an experience of holding.
Though i pay less attention to such people who talks about bitcoin without them having revelation of it, i don't think he understands what is called bear market and it hurts seeing your assets going down to -20% of your investment. Any can claim of being with bitcoin discussion because they haven't make any loose from it.

I have friends that discusses about bitcoin and they follow the news. I'm even surprised that they're doing that because they've told me that they won't buy bitcoin for some reasons. It's not only you that do check the prices daily and check everything bitcoin without having it. And I guess that even starting to think that you've missed buying the bottom when the price is surging. Don't you have plans of buying bitcoin? Because it could be another missed opportunity for someone like you if you're not going to give time of buying it now. With those researches that you've made, I guess that you're now encouraged and wanting to have it after all of those times that you're feeling the negativities that's coming out from you.

At least you believe in Bitcoin which is the most important thing, because everybody on this forum was once like you who had no Bitcoin sometimes ago, but yet never gave up and kept learning about how it works, and the latest market news about Bitcoin.
So if in case you may have forgotten, I will like to inform you that to own Bitcoin, you don't need a million dollars or very huge sum of money to own BTC, as with exchange such as "Binance & Remitano" has made it very possible for anybody to own a very small fraction of Bitcoin worth the least $2 to $5

I don't really understand the point of this thread, as you have said you "currently don't own Bitcoin", not owning Bitcoin doesn't mean that you or anyone would suddenly lose interest in it and not talk about it, not check the news/articles or check its price.

It all depends on your purpose, if you are here simply to spread Fuds, then it is normal for you not to own any Bitcoin. But if you really love it, enjoy discussing it but don't own any bitcoins. I would doubt it unless you're in financial difficulty and can't buy bitcoin at this stage because I've been in the same situation. At one point, I didn't own bitcoin but always enjoyed discussing anything related to bitcoin, I never missed any news about it, simply because one day I will buy it when I have money.

Agree its easy to preach something, but I guess it will be hard to convince them to listen and believe on you about what you are preaching if you haven't experience it with yourself. Just like owning bitcoin, they might have a little doubt on you  even you speaks a lot about bitcoin because you dont even have it. You dont know how it feels to lose some it or even earn some of it. On the other hand its good for you to know more bitcoin even you dont have it right now so when your time comes where you can afford buying bitcoin, you have that knowledge on how things work on it.

Follow up daily trending news linking to Bitcoin and the crypto activities was my prime activities for the day, I found interest in it and never doubted that I was going to be a trader. I was in your shoes once, loved anticipating in active conversation concerning bitcoin but didn't got any in my wallet. I was eager to accumulate more Bitcoin but with my tense actions, I learnt to realize that one needs the basic knowledge of cryptocurrency before purchasing Bitcoin. It's funny to talk about bitcoin and not accumulate Bitcoin in your portfolio. But with time, you will be hungered to get pieces of bitcoin when you start witnessing profits made from it.

I think you are wasting your time if you don't have bitcoins but you check the market every day, are you a bitcoin price based trader? I think that's more likely than someone who doesn't have a job.
I don't blame it because I also experienced it so I invited my friends but I didn't have bitcoins that day, I thought it wasn't wrong, because maybe in a situation he had sold his bitcoins or didn't have extra money to buy bitcoins, I tried to have positive mind.
But if you deliberately don't have bitcoins even though you have the ability I think you are a great person for rejecting the benefits that bitcoin provides, especially if the price will return to the new ATH, I hope you don't regret it.

I think the members in this forum especially those who are always active on the bitcoin discussion board, surely most have bitcoin but of course there are those who don't have btc, maybe to find out about btc and usually a beginner.

Do you not own any Bitcoin by choice or by circumstance? If you believe in Bitcoin at all or at least see it as something intriguing to converse about, and it's within your means to get some Bitcoin for a long-term investment, then why not? If it prices in at any of the possible price points between $200,000 to $10,000,000 in the next 2 - 10 years, then why not have even $10 tucked away? Wouldn't it feel disappointing to be talking and learning about Bitcoin, though having absolutely none if it were to exponentially rise?

This is not something to be proud of, as a matter of fact it is something that if you do not correct, you will regret heavily in the future. Being a member of this forum and not owning any bitcoin even the smallest amount will be the biggest bad that you can do to yourself. You situation is worse than someone who has never heard about bitcoins because, it is not information that has stopped you, but yourself that has stopped you from making the choice to invest. If it is the money to invest, find a way to overcome that challenge.

There are several people who don't own any coin but always love to stay updated on happenings of cryptocurrency and on a little survey, it seems most of them can't really afford to buy Bitcoin now because they sustain mostly from hand to mouth.

Ok the other hand, you would find a handful of newbies falling in this your category, not because they can't afford buying Bitcoin but basically because they need to acquire the right knowledge first, engaging in discussion before jumping into investment.


I doubt if op ever had some Bitcoin and there isn't any harm in that and I don't think his going to buy anytime soon because from his previous post, it seems his still waiting for Bitcoin to drop back to $22k which I don't think will be anytime soon.

My guess is that the OP's story is incomplete. He did not mention why he doesn't have any Bitcoin purchased; he didn't mention if it's because of a lack of finances or just personal reasons. If you are reading this @OP, would you mind sharing the reason why you don't have any bitcoin, or you will just have me believe you created this thread for no reason.

For a person of your rank, that means you are already old in the crypto business and you should have made some Bitcoin investments, but you are saying you have never invested in Bitcoin since 2016 when your account got registered.

OP has been here on the forum since 2016. He/she's been doing business here selling stuff in both fiat and Bitcoin. He/she has also made exchanges between Paypal and Bitcoin. So I think he/she used to have a Bitcoin stash, but it's possible he/she didn't hodl them.

It is quite weird to be here on the forum for many years and never had Bitcoin at some point. When I learned about Bitcoin and got here, I was already very excited to own my first Sats. So my Bitcoin came prior to me learning about the specific security dos and don'ts.

$22,000? He/she should have already bought some. Where was he/she a month ago when Bitcoin was even less than $20,000?

Can you explain why and how long you have known about bitcoin? But I also know some people who don't invest in bitcoin but still follow and participate in many bitcoin discussions. As far as I know, they are also interested in bitcoin but still have some doubts, they are in no hurry and want to observe for a while before making a final decision. I don't think that's too unusual since they're all doubters. But if we procrastinate, indecisive, it is easy to miss opportunities and not always have many opportunities for us to choose from.

This is what often appears on social media when Bitcoin is increasing or decreasing there will be discussions that lead to debate but it is quite certain that those involved are people who don't even have 1 satoshi, they just become jealous people when they see prices go up and being happy when the price drops because they think Bitcoin holders are at a loss, even though those who believe in Bitcoin don't really think about daily movements because the target is long term, and those who have Bitcoin will prefer to be silent because the debate will not increase their Bitcoin amount.

No worries! We all start with zero and achieve things as we go by. I hope you will be able to do so in due course of time. Not owning a Bitcoin is fine. You can anyways do it from any exchange at any time you want. That's not a big deal. But it is more important to learn about Bitcoin and related technologies. I hope you are spending time understanding them. Otherwise, owning a Bitcoin will not help if you don't understand everything related to it. Also, try to learn about the altcoin at the same time. It's no harm in learning about new innovations happening around this market. Coinmarketcap also pays you to learn about these new things. Go check it out.

I completely agree with your point of view that many people want to have the correct knowledge before they are willing to invest their money.
Ok the other hand:
My previous prediction of Bitcoin reaching $22k, and as you know, predictions can be right or wrong. If I could predict the price of Bitcoin with 100% accuracy, I would not have created this topic.
I prefer trading rather than investing. Therefore, whether Bitcoin goes up or down does not affect Traders like me much.

If I predict that the price of Bitcoin will return to $22k but it doesn't happen, that's very normal.

what is the sense? its like you are talking about good food that you are not eating ? talking about Online game that you don't have understanding?

You misunderstood my point, what I mean is that, at present, I don't own Bitcoin (Not Yet). Bitcoin is a great product and that can't be argued. The future can only be speculated for fun, can't be said before, and I'm just focusing on the present.

At some point, we all didn't have bitcoin but somehow got engaged in its discussion. That in itself isn't a bad idea but, you ought to conceive the idea of owing bitcoin someday, even if its just a fraction of it. It would sound hypocritical should you not own some and somehow, keep encouraging others to buy some. Should you have a firm belief in bitcoin Tor some future currency, the best step you could take as a lead by example step is owning fractions of it.

Meanwhile, your knowledge would be very much limited in the events that you don't own a bitcoin or sat fractions of it. This implies you've never transacted before, don't know how the mempool works, how to adjust transaction fees, bump and broadcast the transaction and many more. You can't be subject to just theory in this field, get some fractions of it and see how enthusiastic you might be when it pumps an the chilling feel when it dumps. Then you would be blooded as a crypto investor.

This isn't shocking to me, to say the least honestly. It's the same way we've so many people masquerading as traders and giving trading tips and advice without knowing how to trigger trades or read charts. I see them here a lot. It's amusing when I come across such but then what they stand to gain is what beats my imagination.

As for the OP, how do you feel when Bitcoin (that you often talk about knowingly with the awareness that price will rise) begins to soar? From your date of registration here you've seen two full Bitcoin circles. How did you handle such in the past, also especially now that we're about witnessing another Bitcoin halving, and you don't have any Bitcoin? I asked with a honest intention as I want to be educated on that mindset.

well i also don own btc atm, cause i prefer holding other token that have more potential increase. like eth.
still btc price movement impact general trend. so nothing weird to actively discuss and tracking it

It's fine to study and gain knowledge about Bitcoin and be updated to any news to it. However, knowing the capability of Bitcoin and still haven't own it you'll never experience the benefit it gives to people. Since you didn't mentioned why you can't own Bitcoin I'll just assumed that you lack of funds for investment or trading. So it would be a good move to stick on studying and analyzing so when time comes you have the money then you'll know the timing when to enter the market.

I have Bitcoin and I don't see many reasons to watch the price every day and talk about it for hours, so doing that while NOT having it seems even more pointless for me. There are so many things to do, I don't have time for everything, so I'm trying not to waste it.

If you are a Holder, this is exactly what you need to do as you only care about the long term. However, discussing Bitcoin in free time is still an interesting thing for me personally, Bitcoin is something modern and fresh as well as attractive like a beautiful flower.

Not having btc but having the desire for it is good, people who show interest with caution will start talking about it more and more from various sides. It is necessary to do this first to gain knowledge before actually getting it.

There's nothing wrong discussing bitcoin even though you didn't own bitcoin. This forum isn't like that and you are free to discuss anything related to cryptocurrency even though someone might say that you are spreading fud. Well, we can't force you to buy btc and it's none of our business. You have your own reasons for that and maybe one of it is that you don't have funds for it or you have a plan in the future.

Hopefully you don't need to have bitcoins in your wallet to learn about bitcoins and monitor the bitcoin market regularly.  We read or watch different news daily and we don't have the news we read about so do we ever miss out about that same in bitcoin case we don't have bitcoin so what happened we can keep update of bitcoin regularly  .

To be honest, it has become a habit to constantly monitor the Bitcoin market or learn about new updates. And it's great to know about these things. And knowing about these things, when I can share the update news with everyone, I think maybe through me some people will know about the new bitcoin update. And whether I have bitcoins or not I will definitely keep up with bitcoins.

And is there any reason why you don't invest in Bitcoin? If you read and discuss about it, you should be minimally knowledgeable about properties and at least some of its technology. So I wonder why you don't adopt a DCA strategy to slowly grow up your stash of Bitcoin!
It is always good to have some redundancy to your "wealth".

Technically I see you are quite funny, because of course there is a separate purpose when looking at candles and analyzing bitcoin is if it is not intended to buy then it is likely to weaken.
Not to say you are a hater but in this case I still don't really believe when someone is bothered enough to analyze and look at candles all day just for fun and without doing anything either buying or doing fud.
Although it is true that in this condition judging people too much is wrong and I apologize about that, but don't blame my view because it does seem like a waste of time if there is no clear reason.

What’s the point of reading Bitcoin’s news and analyzing the market when you’re not earning anything from it? I don’t get it to be honest. No offense OP but you’re just wasting your time without benefits, and if you keep doing this, you will definitely regret in the near future when Bitcoin hits ATH. However, it is never too late to start due the current value is affordable. Plus, if you have no money to invest into Bitcoin, that would not be an issue due to there is multiple ways to gain crypto ( like Freelance and woking in signature and  bounty campaigns ) depending on your skills and education or knowledge. Time flies so fast, we should not waste it on trivial stuff. Be productive and responsible.
