Local moderator never dey and e go dey bad say bounty hunters come carry our corner do spam fest where them go dey meet post quota and increase their activity.

Thanks to Igebotz, the monthly merit reward don help increase quality for the board, but e get limit e go fit help because no be merit source e be. Nai make I channel this one to ginger quality posts from low rank accounts cos na them create topic pass for here. This na my own way I feel say I fit help the board and still make the newbies know say we too dey see their handiwork. This campaign na for member rank and below, I believe say anybody way fit achieve 100 merits na good poster, na the newbies we need to look till their leg strong

This is not a campaign in my opinion, although maybe as you want to achieve a goal which is quality posts and more of bitcoin discussion to reduce spamming.

Assuming you want to become a president, you campaign for people to know you and your agenda when you become a president. Assuming you are a company, you can campaign on this forum for members on this forum to know about your products and services. Another is Bitcoincleanup (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5415550.msg61039866#msg61039866).

It would have been better if you use 'bitcoin giveaway for quality posts/posting' as the topic title, or 'quality post competition', or something related to reward etc.

But let us leave it to what you want to call it.

It would have been better if we have more merit sources. I have exactly this plan in mind many weeks ago, to quality posts that bitcoin is included, but I am not a merit source. It would have encouraged people to post contents that are more related to bitcoin on this forum. I mean merit giveaway to quality posts.

To some extent, I think say na people wey de introduce this people to this forum no de give dem the main guidance wey dem need, but I come see am say, if you introduce some people, them go want make you carry the through all d forum due process which sometimes will not be possible because you self go get wetting u wan do for d forum, so i de think say na why some of them de shitpost, but i am sure this will encourage them to de write quality posts.

The most activity in this local board has always been post repetition, low quality posts, and political discussion.
OP, SatoPrincess; you have a fantastic initiative for the local board, as well as great rules that anyone can easily understand. I'm hoping that this will help reduce spam and achieve great results for the purpose for which it was intended.

Satoprincess this is a very good and a welcoming idea. Although It is not a normal campaign in the main board but it looks like a bounty campaign because the idea of the campaign just as the bounty type. There are some factors that I used to analyze the idea. Normal campaign payment is weekly while bounty campaign payment is monthly though I have not visited bounty section but I know that their campaigns pays monthly. That not withstanding. The initiative is good one. I like people that are trying to make the local board clean.
But even as this, those who like to spam the board will still do it and I know them very well. And also your rules, you didn't state it clearly that the posting must be in the local board because some members and newbies would think that they can post for any board.
And I ask want to appeal to others that anyone who can sponsor the campaign can also join Satoprincess in this new development.

Have there been any bitcoin giveaway that you know of that led to temporary or permanent ban?

This is a very good and welcomed initiative and I believe say the funds go dey available to see am through as long as you seem fit. You fit even get sponsors wey like this idea, because e dey in tune with the idea of the Bitcoin talk forum in the first place.
This our Nigerian board need great quality post and so far just a handful of us dey really put in the best to keep us informed and motivated to do better.
Me self go like dey involved as long as na reward for quality service and a way to grow the quality of my content.

If you call am giveaway thread wey dey give out Bitcoin, then e suppose dey Games and Round, i no think say e dey allowed to run giveaway for any other section of the forum, but no be say e go lead to ban oh. Whilst Altcoin giveaways dey completely banned, and like you said, na wetin fit lead to temporary or permanent ban; person no fit pay people to post rubbish or anything wey no too make sense for their thread, but none of these is what SatoPrincess is doing.

I will be grateful to use two hours of my time to scrape out data, do some manual cleaning, and ignore some threads, including the Hangout mega thread and others that will be made public. I believe the reason why this month's own has not been updated here is because the winner has yet to announce or post his or her BTC address in this thread, as I have seen the  The OP dropped a comment  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;msg=62689768)  on the Igeh monthly chart update.

About the monthly update, this should depend on how fast or less busy Igeh is to update the winners since the winner is selected from the data summary.
