Lol, who are these guys who want to sell Hero accounts for only $80, If he would active enough he can manage to earn more than it in 1 week through the signature campaign.

Flag-supported, though we can not stop them by tagging or supporting flags. The buyers and sellers don't care about the tags :) Maybe someone already contacted him for buying the account. :)

Lol, who are these guys who want to sell VIP accounts for only $80, If he would active enough he can manage to earn more than it in 1 week through the signature campaign.

VIP accounts? the @OP wrote he want to sell 2 Hero rank accounts.

If the accounts doesn't received any negative feedback, he can make more money. The only way for him to make money through his account is joining a campaign that receive negative feedback, 1xbit only receive negative feedback account with a reason for applying their campaign, I don't think there's an another good campaign.

I know right, with that kind of price it makes you think that the whole thing is just a scam and I won't be surprised if it is. this also reminds me of a thread I saw in the past where someone who wants to buy a bitcointalk account was scammed by the seller.

It sounds like that jackass probably isn't that invested in the forum anymore and/or doesn't want to participate in sig campaigns--I'm assuming the latter is most likely true for the reason sujonali1819 pointed out.

Then again, there's nothing mentioned about the post quality of the accounts being sold.  Judging by the seller's questionable grasp of grammar, it's possible no campaign manager in their right mind would accept them, i.e., these could be shitposting Hero accounts.

Normally I'd be busting through this sucker's door with the paint canister, but there's no point in tagging or flagging an account that was created for the purpose of selling other accounts and won't be used if and when there is a buyer.  And fuck 'im, I hope the reasonable members of this community see the ridiculously low offering price to be an indicator that something is fishy.

Rule of thumb: when offer is too good to be true, its a scam. No one in their right mind would sell Hero acc for $80 and seller is obviously scammer, praying on ignorant ones thinking that its a good deal. Then again, I woulnd't be surprised if someone actually falls for this feeble scam attempt.

I also don't believe in that offer, the alibi that he needs money is very weak to offer $80 for hero accounts even if that account is not actively posting, no way you will sell it for $80 each, he just needs one or two months and of actively posting and learning how to posts constructively and he can be accepted on gambling campaigns some of which prioritize hero members and you can earn ten times of the amount he is offering, but of course he needs to be active in the gambling section and can participate in gambling discussion.

Scammer are well known user of this forum as he said that he itself created these accounts. he started to make this offer from new account because he knew what will happen next when he create this thread.

This offer is quietly scam because 80$ is one week salary. He made this offer to attract bounty hunters because they are only who can take risk to use it for signature purpose. If he really doing this then i will say that he is most lazy person who cannot work honestly and Play his role in this forum with a good quality post. I hope no one will be scammed because OP was fast enough to flagged him.

I think the offer is not selling any account and it is a trap of scamming. Newbie accounts or those who are greedy may fall into their trap. They will just take the money and will never provide any account. While a hero member can earn more than 80$ per week there can't be a valid point to sell their account.

This is also possible and that's why the offer is too good to be true.
And then when some newbie thought that he had a good price and pay the scammer that money, then the seller suddenly goes nowhere to be found.
What's odd though is that this newbies will open a scam accusations against this scammer, Lol, that will be hilarious that a account buyer cries for being scammed here.

Maybe i think the seller have an evil motives to scam the buyer after payment might have been received. Where on earth would they get such account to sell it at a peanuts of just $80?
Those who are desperate of having such account are they one who will fall as the victim.
Seller is a cheap scammer ::)

Who in their right mind would believe that selling a hero member account for $80 wouldn't end up being a scam? Anyone who chooses to accept such an offer must take responsibility for their decision because they should have known that a cheap offer for expensive goods is accompanied by irregularities

I was wondering what could have prompted the sales of those accounts by the seller. As i can see those accounts as claimed by the seller to be up for sales at that ridiculous amount which he or she could earn more if applied for a signature campaign. Come to talk of it, those accounts have gone that far to be sold at that price when looking at the efforts, commitment, and time put in place to build that account to that rank and yet the owner feels like putting it up for sale at a giveaway price. I begin to doubt if truly that account belongs to the seller or a possible account hack from a long inactive account holder and maybe the owner is no more.

This situation is not the type to tell person that this is a scam. Ordinarily, one should know it is a scam looking at the account involved and the price tag attached. This would make people to rush the account and unbeknownst to them that they would definitely  end up being scammed.

No one should deal with this account as there is every tendency and possibility that the seller and the the account itself been flagged.

There are two types of people who may accept this offer those are 1. newbies who is not aware of the potential income from a newbie and may think someone might have multiple accounts which might not be possible to maintain now need to see that and 2. those who are too much greedy.

I was going to say don't bet on it before I saw this second message of yours. Every flimsy and lazy scam has someone failing for it. If not, scammers would be out of business a long time ago.

Who in their right mind would believe that selling a hero member account for $80 wouldn't end up being a scam?
For a scam to be successfully executed, there are greedy minds who want to exploit the person who's introducing that deal to them. Both the deceived and the deceiver, in this situation, are both dishonest people. In most campaigns, a Hero ranked account goes for $80 and above weekly. Yet, someone supposedly wants to flog theirs for something far less, and someone thinks all is well?

OP did not mention the status of the two accounts are the two accounts in good standing here in Bitcointalk with no bad record or flag created for their activity?
There's no logic in selling a hero account for $80 it doesn't add up, he is too desperate and in bad, needs money if his reason is true.
Many will take the opportunity to grab an opportunity to get a hero account there are a lot of risks attached to buying an account here in Bitcointalk for a cheap price.

Up! Ignore the red tags.
How can any buyer ignore the red tags and deal with the newbie rank, even if there is an Escrow? What is the guarantee that this seller does not recover the account after selling it for a period? He can sign a message through the Bitcoin address linked to his hero account on the forum and with the original email to restore the account easily, and the price of 80 dollars for a hero member only indicates that the seller would like to entice and attract buyers because this price is considered a low price compared to this rank and from after he sells it to someone to recover it and then repeats that with many people, this is my analysis of what might be going on in the mind of this seller.

That's already the risk if someone want to buy an account, it's not about the price, but the risk is same.

If the original owner want to claim his account back, he can, but his account will be painted with negative trust because the buyer will complaint and being honest if the account was sold to him. The account already worthless, but it's just unethical for the buyer because he lose his money and he not get anything lol.

None, there is no guarantee and probably both the seller and the buyer are scammer too as the buyer can used this old account to trick many members here, huge database of potential victims. So not potentially joining any signature campaigns for that matter, he can still get back that $80 if he can scam a lot of individuals.

And that is the best thing that we can do is to give the seller that red tag. Just odd though that after this years, this "Buying account" still exist in our community.

Supported the flag.

Not really surprising like we still have so many ICOs in the altcoin section when we all know that ICOs will lead you to losses, that's because there's demand, and there are always buyers, they just create a new account to sell their high-ranked accounts, some people have foreseen in the past that having a lot of accounts here is going to be profitable, from participating in signature or bounty campaign or by selling accounts.

Just to make it clear, it's not an account trader because he simply doesn't have any accounts. This is just a scammer:

Hello Bitcointalkers,
I got 2 Hero rank members that I'm selling for $80 each.

Accounts are personally created by me in 2017.

Reason for selling? Because I need money.

I accept escrow too.

For more Info's, Telegram ~ @HeroAccs1

SCAM

His method is:

He informs that escrow on Bitcointalk is risky because after some time after the transaction, escrow (or his forum fellow) can still give red trust.

He proposes that if you first send 50% he will send the login details and later you can send the rest.

I go for Full Member for $50 - so I sent $25 and the scammer disappeared.

His wallet: https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/1N3nww3xE8L17sDnrcumfcA5fhEUS24iLP

Transaction confirmation for $25 that I send to him: https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/ce4fe5b4d9b6234136543e8283f8729097e775532c3c96daf543ce41e2b6a0b9

If there is an honest account seller who will go first (for obvious reasons, I will no longer go first) or with trusted escrow, I invite you to cooperate.

I wouldn't be surprised if JamesBorn (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3535601) is also an alt given it was created three days after the one shasan has flagged and they're both touting in the currency exchange section.

Tutoring in same section can't prove anything. It will be highly appreciated if you can find out any other connection that proofs they are alt. If someone gets a negative tag then his/her alt should receive a negative tag too. But before doing that we should have enough proof against them.

Not that I say JamesBorn is an alt of Nikobitcoins, but something is really off about that account. It's like they are pushing so hard to gain merits but making unnecessary posts in boards where they shouldn't even belong

In just a space of 2 months, the account has created 70 topics out of the total 116 posts
