Title: International Workers Day: Forum admins ain't left out
Post by: letteredhub on May 01, 2023, 05:02:43 AM
Workers Day is an international day specially set aside to celebrate and appreciate the tireless labour and services which the worker in both public and private administrations and establishments renders. And it encompasses both paid and volunteered workers all over the globe.

And according to the American English dictionary definition of a worker; A person who does a specified type of work or who works in a specified way. or, A person who is employed to do physical and mental work for wages, especially, in order to earn a living, as in a trade, industry, business, office etc.

And it is in this regard and in the spirit of celebration of May 1st as internationally recognized that the need to in words celebrate and appreciate the efforts and services of all the Administrators of the bitcointalk community being rendered round the clock to keep sanity intact within the forum and amongst forum members all along. Your roles in making sure rules and orders are observed within the community both directly and indirectly is positively felt and it's part of what has kept the community continually alive and interesting to every well meaning member's of the community. And we appreciate the service. Keep it up!
And in extension to all workers out there in various walks of life, well-done! ;D

Workers Day is indeed an important day to celebrate and appreciate the hard work and dedication of workers all over the world, regardless of whether they are paid or not. It's a time to recognize the contribution of workers to the growth and development of our society and economy!

In particular, I want to highlight the important role played by the Administrators/moderators of the bitcointalk community. Their efforts in ensuring that rules and regulations are observed by community members cannot be overstated. They work tirelessly to maintain order and ensure that the community remains a lively and interesting place for everyone.
Thank you and Happy Workers Day!

Don't get it wrong, the workers day is for the contractual workers not for the people who participate in forums, we are not workers. I did not remember when I was given a paper work to fill when I signed up to be posting here, this community is to share ideas and give our ideas, it doesn't translate to work in a way.

The money some are getting from it may be the confusion but it is only because of the traffic value added due to many participations. It is not a job.

As you can see even from the image there is not any demonstrated hunter. I don't think the forum will be included in such a celebration, I agree with saying here is the place where we share ideas and educate each other.

It mnight gain more credibility if the image duidn't contain a bunch of plonkers wearing masks, and under the control of a raised fist. I'm a free spirit, so I reject all of that. I bet they all had the covid injections as well. :)

You're correct, it is no contractual work and there was no  paper work while you were signing up but at least there are people rendering a kind of volunteer service of keeping the forum well coordinated and meaningful for all users, spamming, low quality posts, scam activities and more others are in the barest minimum due to their round the clock watch and filter. Does that make any sense to appreciate or to wait until we are all made contractual workers and given a paper work form to fill? I don't think so and neither you too!
