Title: Types of raffles
Post by: UniJoin on May 03, 2023, 10:59:40 AM
Hey, collectors!

I heard that Bitcointalk is a great place to give away and there are quite a few people here who appreciate custom collectibles. We would like as many people as possible to hear about our Bitcoin Mixer and seriously think about raffle for members of the forum. One of the forum users recommended that we consider buying a custom batch of Ledger or ColdCard and we think it's a good idea. However, we would like to know your opinion on what collectibles can be personalized and are there any sites or people that provide such services? (or perhaps there is one of the manufacturers of collectible items here on the forum).

I will appreciate any feedback! And I hope I chose the right board for this kind of question.  :)

Kialara is my most favorite collectible even though I’m just lurking around here because I can’t afford owning one.

I think your raffle will be swarm by a lot of interest if ever you will manage to make a deal with them for a customized wallet. All of their art is stunning and a gem. Ofc I’m suggesting this to make me have a chance to own one for free.

Omg, a kialara custom wallet would certainly draw A LOT of attention. You would be sure to have made a lasting impression. Most coin-mixers don't last that long, so maybe not what you are looking for?  ;)
But even if Max were to do such a project it will be on the steeper side of things in regards of funding. His products are pieces of art and mostly hand crafted.

Definitely, I knew that this is complicated to be honest. But pulling this kind of deal will show how dedicated this mixer on promoting their brand to the peak level in the forum. Although this idea is pure self interest due to my obsession to Kialara wallet for a long time.

Kialara is indeed a piece of art worthy to be one of the premium collectibles here in the forum. Maybe Unijoin can do this and show us they are planning long term.  ;)

Welcome to the forum. You can also try https://satochip.io/

I have made a few custom cards that I really liked and I think were very well made.

Here are some of the examples of what I ordered. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3334918.msg61844388#msg61844388 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3334918.msg61844388#msg61844388)

Betnomi recently launched several rounds of their Free Cold Wallet Raffle (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5446281.0) I guess you know whom to ask to organize raffle like that  ;)
For sure it may brings attention, as free items are always desired. My only concern is that I suppose hard-core mixer user would not want to reveal his home address (even to 3rd party like minerjones). But yes, at least for some time the brand will be more visible.

Home delivery of wallet with ordered, already mixed coins, LOL  ;)

Several hardware wallets are already offering co-branding solutions.
I recently did a research about that for one of our local member campaign, so I am posting more information about that here with links.
Please note that I don't support any closed source wallets, and my suggestion is to avoid doing any deals with them, plus ledger nano X is one of the worse hardware wallets with many issues with battery, and that is a big reason to avoid it (S+ is better and cheaper).

However, I will be be neutral for co-branding and just the post links, for ledger that is:
https://www.ledger.com/co-branded-partnership

Second option is OneKey hardware wallet from Hong Kong, they started as Trezor fork, but they are most popular hardware wallet in China, and they are open source:
https://onekey.so/co-branded-partnership/

CoolWallet (they are closed source):
https://www.coolwallet.io/cobranded_card_partnership/

Keystone wallet is open source and you can contact them for potential co-branding:
https://keyst.one/

Satochip is also doing custom crypto cards, but someone already mentioned them above.

It’s been a while since I’ve advertised it, but I can engrave on 1oz silver coins. Here’s a thread I had that shows some of my work https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1611837.0

I still have a couple of silver blanks laying around, but obvious if you wanted a lot of coins to give away you would be better off having a coin minted instead of having blanks engraved.

it will be awesome if you create the unijoin Icarus card because I know that all the physical cards that you create will look very good.
I pay attention to Icarus poker series for the icarus card and looks awesome but I am not good at playing poker to join it.
