One of the influencer in my country has started the business of selling the shirts with bitcoin logo on it. This will not only help him get some business but at the same time, it is a step towards the crypto awareness.

Keep in mind that we live in a country where we are not allowed to buy and sell through bitcoin. Therefore he is selling the shirts in the fiat currency however all the shirts have Bitcoin logo over it. This is the maximum he can do to promote bitcoin. I hope when some day bitcoin may become a legal tender here also, then he can do the transactions in Bitcoin.

This is a business and also a very good idea because indirectly those who wear clothes with the bitcoin logo can introduce bitcoin to people who still don't know bitcoin when wearing it. A d since bitcoin  is already banned in your country, I wouldn't advice him to keep identifying himself with bitcoin directly as it might be so some point a disobedience to the officials and government  agency? There are other ways he would have done  this than putting himself in a big mess and also placing a price on the t-shirts I'm wouldn't be a nice idea because you don't expect to buy a t-shirt for that amount and still be at the risk of bearing the consequences  of wearing the t-shirt.
Whatever  the case might be, your friend should be more careful  and try staying  low key on cryptocurrency in your country now.

What the influencer in your country is doing is more of business than it is of passion. I have seen some people share out Bitcoin Mertc for free just for the awareness purposes.

But in this case I can see someone who is trying to use bitcoin popularity for his own good and it’s so sad people are actually taking advantage of that, he is lucky that there one person that has trade marked bitcoin if not that won’t be possible.

This is a great idea which comes from him. Every bitcoin enthusiast and lover wishes to find a way to spread bitcoin knowledge in their community, but some are unable to do so due to the severe restrictions on the use of bitcoin in such areas. If what he's done won't get him in trouble, he should keep going since I'm convinced he'll generate more sales with this design because it'll be unique in that area.

Recognition doesnt stop and it would really be keeping on progress on which we know that not all places or countries does have that similar approach specially if
government does really make out such opposing step, then as a business owner it is really hard to make out some integrations.

I think this is a good initiative and also a good way of spreading the btc awareness to as many people as possible. Although some people may not understand what the logo stands for but with the bitcoin written next to logo will help them to understand.
Bitcoin is not legal in my country as well but people can still engage in transacting btc. Thanks to this type of promotion individually, the btc awareness keeps increasing.

What if they found out that he is indirectly promoting bitcoin what would government do to him or her?
Actually I love the whole concept of helping for wide spread of bitcoin so I think he should only sells to the country that accepts the buying and trading of bitcoin in other to remain a law abiding citizen.

True. I think this is very possible for those scammers to easily trace bitcoin hodlers since wearing bitcoin T-shirts only means that you are a believer and a long time investor in bitcoin, and that you be could owning already a lot of bitcoin profits. Though this idea is very good for public awareness, but it will also trigger the safety of those people who are actually making profits from bitcoin. That’s why most bitcoin earners are just hiding their identities so they can avoid crypto scammers.

Yes, your question is on point. The idea of also teaching and educating the customers about what they are actually buying and not just the design is good. But on the other hand, we should also look at the fact that there might actually not be a need for that, because the country might also be against it since they have a legal ban on the currency within their jurisdiction. Seeing someone orally promote and educate people about something that's actually not supposed to be traded in the country might attract the authorities. On the other hand, people who buy clothes now don't just buy them because of the mere design; most people buy them because they actually understand what the design might actually mean.

I have a friend who also did the samething, actually it feels nice and somehow proud to wear a t-shirt with a cryptocurrency logo since other could recognize it, and there are times that some stranger or workmates would actually open up a topic and talk to you about crypto when they see the t-shirt.

I don't see many Bitcoin logos anywhere on clothing, it would be a great marketing scheme to see it on the streets. I've seen shoes on the internet with the bitcoin logo but never seen anyone wearing them. Hope to see those T-Shirts in real life one day

It is good, these kind of stores where you can get items that carry Bitcoin logos have always been, this just increases accessibility to this items the more. Asides T-shirts, he can also look to include other items like mugs, hats, pens, etcetera. So that people who have no interest in buying T-shirts but like to have an item with Bitcoin logo will have other options to choose from. That way he can increase his sales, and also help increase the awareness he is trying to raise to all corners.

It had to take an influencer to make this bold move when the real OGs of crypto watch from a distance and in the shadows...Its understandable as people respect their privacy and don't want to let the world know  of their tech hobbies but this BTC  t-shirt branding is a great idea if masses do actually buy and put on the Ts on a regular basis, otherwise  exchanges and gambling companies are doing the most as they have these sponsorship deals with big teams which get the visibility boost out there.

By bringing the logo over the real thing visually, the hope is limited to raising awareness, not knowledge. Making people aware doesn't necessarily have to teach them either, people's level of curiosity can vary every time they see something new. Even if the average person who sees it is the type of person who doesn't care, it doesn't mean that a few of them won't find out harder.

This is the same situation of my country, I see too many people on the marketplace selling T-shirts, hats, bag,s and custom cards with the bitcoin logos even is bitcoin is not legal as a payment. But, we are still lucky here (Indonesia), because bitcoin is legal as asset investment so that situation we not to worry to use that on public, But If I thinking it again, It is dangerous, because when I use that t-shirt with bitcoin logo and seen by criminals, they will thing I have a lot of bitcoin, then they will be spied me, and The criminal will follow me where I live. in my opinion you should be careful in making t-shirts that have bitcoin logos or images,
because the government in your country prohibits buying and selling bitcoins so you have to be careful.

this is indeed a good idea and I also understand your goals and intentions, but in my opinion it would be even better if you made a permit to the government that you would make t-shirts with the bitcoin logo if allowed, keep working on making t-shirts with logos like that.

I usually like t-shirts with minimalistic designs and I would never buy a t-shirt, that has a giant logo on the front(it doesn't matter if it's the Bitcoin logo or some other logo). That's just me. Maybe other people will prefer more flamboyant and colorful designs.
I don't think that your friend is promoting Bitcoin by selling such t-shirts. He is just selling t-shirts, nothing else(and he doesn't have to pay for the t-shirt designs, which is clever). Many people have seen the Bitcoin logo, but they still don't know what Bitcoin actually is and how does it work. Many people might think that Bitcoin is a company or a fashion brand. ;D

maybe with the logo, it must be ascertained whether someone has already applied for a patent. if someone has made it, it is certain that not just anyone can use the logo and must have a permit. but if not then there is no obligation to do the permit, so it can be made to be sold as commercial goods.

When someone want to become an influencer, he already lost and trade his privacy in order to make money. Since he already lost his privacy, he think there's nothing to lose anymore because he will do anything to make him popular.

This will depends on the buyer, if the buyer don't want to become popular and lost it's privacy, don't buy any product related to Bitcoin.

That person is definitely making bank, he/she knows the trend and makes a merchandise out of it, I think that this is more than just promotion but more on the business side but hey, who am I to judge, it still has the logo so in a way it still promotes bitcoin. I hope that you can see the legalization of bitcoin in your country, seems kind of a backward thinking for the government to outlaw bitcoin transactions when they can profit from it through taxation.

That is fun. They should add bitcoin cartoons on it with slogans calling for the crypto investors. These type of t-shirts are eye catchy so in the long run they will be bought by many people and usually passerby always read out the slogans when they see such colorful and cartoonish t-shirts. More than that, they should start making these for the teens and children group too. One more concept to add is QR codes. These QR codes could be linked to popular bitcoin related websites and more importantly bitcointalk forum for that matter. Any person visiting bitcointalk will ultimately become bitcoin lover if they register and have look around.

If bitcoin or crypto is not legally traded in your country's jurisdiction, then one probably shouldn't push for more promotion of it even if it is a promising business. I think sooner or later the government will probably realize that more and more people are getting involved in the trade, so since it's illegal the problem will probably be bigger.

Government might start arresting people wearing the clothes, the producers for marketing a currency that has been banned in the country.

I think it’s better you look for a better way to promote bitcoin, so that government won’t know bitcoin is been promoted. Am sure time will come when bitcoin will be legal in the country and it can be promoted anyhow everybody want. But now that bitcoin is illegal, then everything should be done silently, some people might buy the t-shirt and be landed in problem.

I won't lie, If I see an interesting T-shirt, I surely go and find out what it meant. Like if there is any anime character on it or quotes, I do research around If I like it.

It's quite nice to sell this kind of t-shirt I honestly like a Bitcoin shirt, when I see someone wearing a Bitcoin shirt it always excites me in a way. Maybe because there wasn't really a lot of this t-shirt or we dont see a lot of it.

But if you're for it as in fashion, you can always wear it anytime you want and just reason out that it's just given to you. I have seen someone wear something like this in the public but no offense, that person was a beggar and that t-shirt was just likely given to him.

Does such product promotion really works ? I think t-shirt promos arent up-to-date anymore. At least simple sign Bitcoin does not do much alone. What about people who wear FBI caps. That does not mean they are FBI agents, and you can ask them about their work. Same as wearing a football t-shirt with name Ronaldo does not mean a person is somehow familiar with him. Does not make people buy his CR7 brand goods or instantly become a fan of Al Nassr FC.

I think that's a good thing. And for the record, as far as I know there is no prohibition for employers to make t-shirts with various logos and that doesn't make someone commit a crime with that logo. Except for logos related to rebellion or terrorism. That's funny right?  ;D ;D

At my place a lot of people wear t-shirts with the logos of FBI, SWAT, Metal, Free Speech, and also logos of cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, BNB and SOL (which I have found) and have no problem with that. Note that as long as there are no words that invite people to do something that is prohibited by the state, such as wearing BTC clothes, then add the words "Let's Buy BTC and don't listen to what the Government has said"  ;) ;) ;D

As long as Bitcoin is fully legal in his country, then this is a good business to have because people there must have known Bitcoin or is a solid fan of it. Like me, I am also hunting for Bitcoin merchandise in my local but it's unfortunate that there are no stores nearby that offer it.

I guess that is because I am on a place which are far away from the big city and maybe there is only less people here who know about Bitcoin. Influencers are usually being paid to promote a product so I don't think his friends voluntarily be doing it but the OP can always pay them in order to promote his business. I've tried wearing one and trust me, no one even cares about the Bitcoin logo, no one asked me what's logo is it, or anything that poked their interest, or let's say somebody will asked what is it, the you'll say Bitcoin, and the first idea that will come up to their mind is "scam" because of scammers using bitcoin that has been reported in television so many times already.

If we really want Bitcoin awareness in a positive way, I think the Government has the only power to that in the majority of places.

Influencers are usually paid by shitcoin owners to promote their token or coin, but if you are promoting BTC you aren't going to get paid by anyone, BTC is decentralized and none of its developers is going to hire you to promote BTC, its use cases is all the promotion that BTC needs. Contributing to the BTC network is voluntary, even the thousands of nodes all around the world who run the BTC client do so for free and without any payment, that it why the network is great.

Having a huge logo of BTC on a t-shirt would not necessarily create awareness about BTC when the people are not properly educates about what the logo is about.
While his initiative is quite laudible, it is imperative that those his intending customers are educated about BTC so they can make informed decisions about BTC.

Not just t-shirts, Bitcoin logos can now be seen on almost all products. It's true that the t- shirt logo inspires people about Bitcoin. But not all products with logos are correct. Now if the Bitcoin logo is affixed to illegal products. Bitcoin can never have that responsibility. If illegal goods are purchased with legal currency, the buyer is responsible for that, not the currency. Bitcoin has gained quite a reputation as a legitimate international money exchange. It is not uncommon for illegal products to use the Bitcoin logo to destroy reputation

I would just be careful with some sayings on the T-shirts, like "hold Bitcoin, retire early" or "mine your own Bitcoin", because this can be spotted as misleading propaganda. We have to be careful to not give false expectations to other people, as we can't guarantee they are going to retire early if they invest in BTC, since the cryptocurrency is highly volatile on both directions. Moreover, most adopters aren't going to mine their own BTCs, because it's an expensive activity which demands high investment and appropriate infrastructure.

I don't think a T-shirt will help to provide crypto awareness. Yeah, it's great to make business and all, but it's not more than that.

Relying solely on the logo sometimes goes nowhere, it takes some appropriate emphasis to really grab attention especially in offensive environments, although you should only allow a small space for the logo itself. In my environment, humorous writing attracts more young people.

You are kind of right, influencers are always being paid just to run advertisement for them, but am sure nobody will pay any influencer to advertise bitcoin. The only thing I think the influencer is trying to do is to make money, after producing t-shirts that bitcoin is printed on it, then he will sell it and make his money, so am sure the influencer cares about the money he will make after producing the t-shirt, so that’s why he is marketing the t-shirt. But I believe he should be careful since bitcoin is illegal in the country, so that he won’t be landed in trouble.

I was eager to open the link to see the shirt sample and the country from which it was sold because the write-up looks like something done in my country but it wasn't. Like you said apart from the fact that he is making awareness about bitcoin is another source of income that bitcoin enthusiasts will buy from him.

If he wanted to promote Bitcoin more effectively he can just give the t-shirt away.  I think the influencer is just taking advantage of the crypto industry in proliferating his own business.  I bet if there is another hot trend, he will put it on his T-shirt so that he can profit from that trend.  I think the influencer motive is profit first then the awareness thing is just the after-effect of the merchandise.


No, I don't believe that the seller has Bitcoin's best interest in mind, it is business and obviously the best interest is profit.

Those T-shirts are overpriced. Slapping Bitcoin logos on a T-shirt doesn't increase the value. And those things that are the best, doesn't need advertisement. The name itself becomes a brand and people will recognize it without creating such awareness. Also, how many T-Shirts have you bought and came home to research on what is written on it? Does the T-shirt encourage others who have no idea about bitcoin to learn about it? People mindlessly buys clothes by colors and design.
Only those who knows about Bitcoin will be excited to buy something like this. Bitcoin is a decentralized asset. It gives you freedom and the ability to keep your privacy safe. Why let people know that you own Bitcoin by wearing a T-shirt? It compromises your privacy and security. I don't know how is this going to help to spread awareness, and not to mentioned that Bitcoin is not officially accepted in your country.

I do not know about you, but I would rather not to let people know I have Bitcoin. It is about how I personally perceive security and liberty here in my country.

One of the reasons I got into this world of decentralized assets and Bitcoin was because I wanted to find a way to keep a little bit of money out the reach of bad people. Unfortunately, here we don't only have crooks in the streets but also in the banks and the government, who do not care to mess with our savings and drive us into starvation in the name of an ideology.

I actually like that kind of business too and that is regardless of the way a person promotes crypto through the product he sells it. Because I also printed the BTC logo on four of the T-shirts that I still wear today, but not many people have asked about the writing Bitcoin and the logo on my clothes. And even some people already think of it as a normal thing even though they might already know about Bitcoin.

I also hope that one day Bitcoin can be better and more useful than fiat money so that Bitcoin's position can surpass fiat in society. But until now it still hasn't happened in my place, and one more thing that I also like the way of promoting Bitcoin through t-shirts like that. Because when someone wears the shirt, surely the people around them will also see the logo, although not all of them will ask what it is.

So is it safe to publicly promote Bitcoin where people can see you wearing it? I used to have a shirt with a huge Bitcoin logo in front that I used to wear a lot. When I wear it, I feel like I'm promoting Bitcoin to people who'll see my shirt, and it kinda feels great when you would notice that some people will look at your shirt.

Yes! Of course, because that will gonna save you time and promote only to the people that are interested you don't need to talk first either because you only answer their questions when they started to ask you something about bitcoins. You will also find those people who asked you good listeners because they are curious and want to know things from the pros. Most people who approached you will have some basic questions so before wearing those shirts, you better have an idea of what you are talking about also don't forget to warn them against scammers and frauds and also don't forget to enlighten them about bitcoins nothing to do with any Ponzi Scheme or scams rather it is also a victim. scammers used it as a prop for their scam activities.

While I love wearing bitcoin logo in tshirt and all the stuffs that has this logos , but i also knew how risky this will be as
