Title: NEWBIE WANTING TO LEARN TO FLY 🕊️
Post by: EBMARYAM on May 20, 2023, 06:27:16 PM
I have always been fascinated seeing people making it in crypto space. I'm kind of surrounded by people that are really into crypto but I have this mindset that until you have capital before you venture into crypto and make a success. This is why I haven't ventured into the space, but with good guide I believe I can make it as well.

As a new person that wants to make it in crypto, what safety guidelines and advices can you give to see him/her to success with minimal risks?

Been surrounded with crypto investors is an advantage because you could easily get firsthand about the whole thing. Just like you said bitcoin requires capital and patience, also have the mindset that bitcoin isn’t a quick get rich scheme. Although with proper understanding of its trading you could make profits from it.

The most important advice on crypto space is to invest an amount you can lose, this advice is because bitcoin and crypto in general is volatile.

As a beginner to minimize risk stick only to bitcoin holding, investing into Altcoins are only profitable to experience trader’s because it is more of pump and dump coins, so to invest in it is risky for a beginner

Also do not quit your job to focus on crypto trading only

If you currently lack capital to invest, you can learn a digital skill which puts you in a position to get paid in Bitcoin. You grow your portfolio through regular purchases and get an alternate means of earning an income. But if I'm being honest, earnun to get paid in Bitcoin required time and attention, and sometimes capital to pay for the skill set.

As a new person that wants to make it in crypto, what safety guidelines and advices can you give to see him/her to success with minimal risks?
• Learn the basics,
• Do not rush into anything,
• Understand how to secure your wallets,
• Also understand that Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme,
• Stick to Bitcoin if you're looking for stability.

You can learn crypto without investing, I think that’s the best way to start one’s crypto career. Some bitcoin books to read are;
  • Mastering Bitcoin (GitHub) (https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook)
  • The Internet of Money (https://aantonop.com/books/iom/)
  • Mastering Ethereum (https://github.com/ethereumbook/ethereumbook)

There is a lot of hype and fake lifestyle that’s being portrayed by people in the crypto in a bid to look successful. The best advice I received as newbies was “be skeptical of the hype”, this simple advice saved me from investing in altcoins even if they were promoted by the biggest celebrity or even if everyone is saying it’s going to be the next best thing after bitcoin.

my suggestion is;
-keep your privacy
-do not trust 100% in other people, the rest is at least 5% for your suspicions
-don't be easily swayed by FUD and FOMO
-be yourself and never regret the decisions you have made
cmiiw....
the crypto space is full of things that we must be aware of so that you don't lose money instead of making a profit, as a newbie always verify beforehand any new information you hear and keep asking people who you think can be trusted and have a good reputation in this forum.

You want to survive in crypto-currency with minimal risk yes it's possible even though there is always an element of risk in this space (crypto) but you can actually reduce it.
#Avoid altcoins if you can: altcoins are crypto-currencies that aren't Bitcoin, any other coin asides Bitcoin is an alternative coin, this side of crypto has a high percentage of risk and uncertainty, there are lots of altcoins and this can really mess with your choices, the are pump and dump and this can be an investors trap hole. So generally if you want to reduce your risk and you willing then you can try avoiding altcoins.

#Greed: the biggest tool scammers uses to get victims, greed is a potential risk in crypto-currency. It set people up to fall for scams, set traders and investors up to fall into loses as well.

#Low knowledge: you can't make it in anything you don't know about, Crypto-currency should not just be a gamble. Try to learn new things here, it can also here in protecting you in this ecosystem.

you may be able to have a good circle of friends and have good communication to discuss Bitcoin. but remember, not all of them can also be shared with them. keep your boundaries and privacy that you can't share with anyone. Your environment may be your greatest risk.
One more thing, if you store assets in a wallet, don't be too open to connecting your wallet with any site. most beginners are too eager to seek information related to crypto. and many scam sites that you will encounter.

You have heard from the experienced on what to do. Before investing , do well to dive into what it means and how it works so that all your focus won't be in profit profit profit. This will help you balance your thinking and not over loaded with the thought of loss or gain. As you have heard from others, invest what you can afford to loose in other to maintain good standard of living without posting risk to your life.  Another pitfall to avoid in this journey is greediness, knowing when to enter and when to exit the market for profit maximization. If your investment is majorly on bitcoins, Good! But if you have others in mind, be ware of scammers

You can always venture into cryptocurrency even without capital.  There are other means of engaging with cryptocurrency that does not need financial capital.  Like offering services and working as free lancer and accepting cryptocurrency as payment/salary.  Cryptocurrency isn't only about investment.  Since there is a community and economics, there will be lots of options to participate in cryptocurrency.

As a new person that wants to make it in crypto, what safety guidelines and advices can you give to see him/her to success with minimal risks?

You must educate yourself about cryptocurrency, its  basic technicality and economics.  Always verify information before believing it and avoid any get rich scheme proposition.

Avoid being greedy because greed is the main cause of all investors downfalls. If you are satisfied with the little profit you make while trading, then you will be a successful trader.

Don't be as eager to succeed as others because everything in life is a step-by-step process; therefore, begin with just a small amount until you learn all of the essential knowledge to be a professional.

The first step to succeeding in the cryptocurrency industry is your mindset into the cryptocurrency industry. If your mindset is to get rich very quick, you might not succeed in this very space.
I can see it is because of the success of your friends, who live around you that makes you to join the cryptocurrency earlier than you planned.
You might not know if your friends have other sources of income other than cryptocurrency, but they would make you feel that they get their money all from crypto.

To be honest, invest more of your time in learning how Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies work before you can invest your money.
It is good that you have a steady source of income, and then br investing according to your budget, That is the best way to break through in the cryptocurrency industry.

Welcome here, I think you've got already a good start by having those peers that will guide you. Didn't you ask them for ways without having the need of starting big or with having no money?

The risk won't change for everybody and there's no exception on it. And there's no guaranteed that even you start with a capital, your success isn't assured.

The best approach is to start little and then learn the market as if you have no option since you've placed your money already. Dollar cost averaging(DCA) will be suggested to you by many and take note of how you do it.

You can start with as little as you can while testing the waters until you've got enough of it and ready to venture more with your additional capital.

For beginners or newbies you have to start small, make use of money that you can afford to lose. You can't just start up with a huge amount like all your savings and expect a bigger profit, well you can be lucky but to be on the safer side start with a small capital. Try to understand the mechanism of buying, selling and exchanging cryptocurrency before investing. Don't just jump into any crypto exchanges, look for a trustworthy crypto exchange.

Stick with Bitcoin. Forget about altcoins until you feel like you’re actually legitimately ready for them. Altcoins are like a ride or die thingy. This strategy alone will save like over 90% of the risks a normal crypto investor goes through.

By the way, you don’t need a lot of capital to begin. By waiting until you have more capital, you’re wasting time and opportunities. You’ll be basically left behind because you thought you need to be wealthy to start. Nobody became wealthy by having wealth, unless they inherited it.

I have seen mostly the newbies only come to earn here. And some are those who really want to learn. Newbies who come here to earn they think about merits and their first priority remain merits. Or mostly go to the bounty section and take part in the different bounties. Mostly do not read the rules and just start postingtg without reading rules and they make mistakes. They should read the Rules first.

For those looking to earn significantly from the cryptocurrency market, capital is, in my opinion, the most crucial factor. There are other ways to succeed in the cryptocurrency world as well, but the ideal approach is to have your own money. However, before you start investing in the cryptocurrency market, try to learn more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. As a beginner, I can only advise you to invest in bitcoin first and steer clear of all other cryptocurrencies, as many of them are worth investing in nothing but trash. This is because beginners may lack the information necessary to do their own thorough study to identify the best coins or tokens out all existing altcoins.

As a new person that wants to make it in crypto, what safety guidelines and advices can you give to see him/her to success with minimal risks?

Make sure you have proper knowledge about cryptocurrency industry, don't be greedy to invest more than what you cannot afford to lose, always ask about any thing you don't understand about crypto industry especially coming to forum to seek for guidance, don't click on any links you don't know it sources because crypto industry is full of scammers.

If your neighborhood is surrounded by crypto-loving people and some of them are already successful, then you have only two tasks. The first thing you have to learn from them is by asking about crypto and also what the obvious risks are in any case. The second is that you shouldn't be lazy in reading when there are several people like in this topic who provide guidance to you because that is something that might help you to understand crypto things that you didn't know so far.

My advice to you is to first learn what cryptocurrency is and how to make money through it. Through this, you would get to know about the pioneer Bitcoin and how you can make money through HODLing, trading and many more. As an advice, you can maximize your trading potential by actively participating in Spot and Futures trading, but they also carry some higher degree of risks. It's up to you on this. However, you can safely be holding crypto in your wallet and see as your investment grows, yet it has to be done right which is why you will need to learn to understand everything.

You can have the money to invest in crypto and have no time to learn and do good research first, majority of investors that have money always make more mistakes than those that have no money, because those that have no money will have time to know more about crypto, presently, with no money, that's all they can do..

This makes them to know more about crypto and how to keep themselves safe on the long run, by the time they are ready to invest their hard-earned money they will spend the money right, because they now have better knowledge and patience with crypto, FOMO and unnecessary Hype will have less consequence on such people.

I remember back then when i first heard about bitcoin/crypto I also had the mindset of having large amount of money before one can take part in crypto and start trading and earning, it was later that I learnt that even with large capital if you lack the knowledge needed to trade and also to avoid scams you'll still end up not making anything, instead you will end up with a loss.

The one I know and have been applying is the DYOR. I know that this might be challenging for newbies at first because they don't even knwo where to start when it comes to researching about a project but with time it beccomes easy just as it became for me.
Another thing is; avoiding celebrities hype. They are projects out there that pays celebrities to hype them and then making people ( most especially newbies) invest in it and at the end it will turn out to be a scam. You should have it at the back og your mind that those celebrities don't have a single knowledge abou that project they are promotuing which in other words means that they are no different from you.

If Bitcointalk only had true enthusiasts and no signature campaigns, the forum would be empty as hell! Whether or not we want to say the truth, signature campaigns are an incentive and also an interest for most of us. Maybe it’s just in the back of our head, it doesn’t have to be the main purpose of writing here.. but just like any other hobby, there are only a handful who’d actually do it for the fun of it and not get earn anything from it at all.

The thing is that if everyone only posts for earnings, the posts become shitposts, the fun becomes an obligation and the forum becomes an echo chamber. That’s why it’s recommended that fun should be combined with this interest. Don’t leave the fun to the side for the earnings. If earnings weren’t an interest, nobody’d run for the best paid campigns.. but hey, we’re all humans after all!

Much better if you take the slow path which is the organic one since if you learn all the things you need to know about crypto for sure your knowledge will no be limited on single criteria only.

I was originally like you too, I thought that if we want to start crypto we must have capital. It turns out that I was wrong, there are still many who can generate crypto for free without spending capital, such as signing up on forums, airdrops, bounties, tesnet and others. I know all of that too because I am surrounded by friends who understand crypto as well, that's why we have to take advantage of this closeness by digging deeper into information.

Actually, the original intent of crypto and blockchain is not for money making

Crypto was brought to replace our traditional currency (Dollar, Euros, etc)

But good enough still, people are making money from it, so yes, you too can be a part

Firstly, you have to study the crypto space by yourself, don’t depend on someone else’s analysis

Knowledge is the first step, get as much knowledge as you can

Secondly, invest more in getting more knowledge about crypto

You can specialize on NFTs, Defi, etc

But, you have to first get knowledge before anything else

For long term wealth creation, buy bitcoin

Buy more bitcoins

Buy even more

For short term wealth creation, use your money to invest in other businesses

It’s best you buy bitcoins and leave it for quite a good number of years

1btc in 2017 was around $1k

1btc today is $27k

That’s 27x any money you invested 6yrs ago

To achieve hope in the crypto space requires capital and patience, nothing can be achieved without effort. Luckily you are surrounded by investors who already understand how to invest in crypto well, you can learn a lot from them while reading some interesting topics that can broaden your horizons. Your mindset must be on two sides if you want to fly high in the crypto space, you need to be careful if you want to fly, because if you fall the potential for breaking you wings is very large. Start with small capital, you can do it gradually if you understand how to invest properly.
